Where the Chefs Like to Eat in Atlanta

"Eater 38 essential restaurant Dil Bahar Cafe is where Farhan Momin enjoys partaking in Pakistani street foods, sandwiches, and wraps. “My favorite is the hunter beef sandwich. They also have tons of South Asian desserts, like falooda, and fresh pastries,” Momin says, who credits the owners for the success of the family-owned restaurant. “It’s a family affair, with the mom who makes all the food and pastries from scratch. The dad handles the register and also serenades the guests with Indian ballads while they eat. The kids join in when they are not working/studying as well.”" - Beth McKibben

Had ordered Chicken roll, just the chicken and roti, no sauce no salad no spices inside the roll, the size is also too small. The sandwich is also smelling and no taste. Only chicken samosa was good.

Google
Dil Bahar Cafe is an absolute gem offering a delectable array of Pakistani snack foods, sweets, desserts, and more. If you have a sweet tooth that constantly craves for indulgence, this dessert hotspot is a must-visit. One of the things that immediately struck me about Dil Bahar Cafe is its vibrant and energetic atmosphere, especially during late-night hours. The place comes alive with laughter, chatter, and a contagious sense of excitement. However, what sets it apart from other dessert spots is its ability to cater to a wide range of visitors. Whether you're with your family, kids, the elderly, or friends, you'll find the environment welcoming and suitable for all. A recent addition to their menu that has garnered much attention is the Gola Ganda, a beloved Pakistani treat loved by all generations. Dil Bahar Cafe's version of this icy delight is a game-changer. The flavors are bold, refreshing, and a perfect antidote to beat the summer heat. The crunch of crushed ice mixed with the assortment of syrups creates a symphony of flavors on your taste buds. However, while the current syrup selection is great, I would suggest the addition of more options, including a green syrup for those who enjoy a tangy twist. Moreover, adding an additional layer of malai halfway through the preparation process would take this Gola Ganda experience to new heights of indulgence. Having sampled their sweet treats on multiple occasions, I can confidently say that I will be returning to Dil Bahar Cafe for many more late-night sweet cravings. Not only is the food at Dil Bahar Cafe exceptional, but the service is also top-notch. The staff members are friendly, attentive, and always ready to recommend their personal favorites. They genuinely care about providing a delightful experience to each customer, making the visit even more memorable. In conclusion, Dil Bahar Cafe is a dessert lover's paradise. It offers a wide variety of Pakistani snack foods, sweets, and desserts, and the recent addition of Gola Ganda has taken their menu to new heights. The energetic atmosphere combined with a family-friendly environment makes it a perfect spot for everyone. Whether you're in the mood for a late-night treat or simply want to satisfy your sweet cravings, this cafe is a must-visit. I can't wait to return and explore more of their tempting offerings.

Google
Was a 5 star place. Recently, they stopped serving tea in pot and started using paper cups :( they lost their specialty and turned into just any other cafe you find after a few turns across town. The teas also feel like diluted versions of their former recipes. Hope they revert to their former methods! The staff is still super nice, though.

Google
Best place for tea/ chai, desserts and live music on the weekends. My fiends and I are hooked to this restaurant and end up her for hot tea. Pakistani / Indian street food is amazing as well. Dahi chat and chakori are my favourite. Dinner entrees have a huge range but Haleem was delicious.

Google
We got the mix chaat and mango laasi. It was so good. The mango laasi was rlly good. The customer service is very good. They’re all super sweet and kind. The store is very clean and aesthetic inside. I love the plants and lights. They offer a variety of food with good quantities and very clean. However, I didn’t really like the plastic containers they served us in since we were dining in. I prefer plates when dinning in and plastic containers for carry out. Overall pretty good :))

After living in Georgia for 6 years and craving food from back home I finally found an amazing spot. Thanks to my friends who invited me to a wonderful Pakistani Restaurant I am amazed. The atmosphere, aroma, food and decor here reminded me of back home. Special thanks to the Owners Farah & her husband for welcoming us with great hospitality and great food. Thank you to Dil Bahar Cafe for letting us make our matchmaking event announcement. Thank you so much too Faiza and the entire Dil Bahar Team for a great time, we will be back very soon.

Google
Cute well maintained Pakistani cafe located in a strip mall right off the freeway. We stopped in here while waiting on take out from another Pakistani place next door. We tried the kulfi & shahi tukre - both were delicious!! The place was buzzing at 10pm on a Saturday night. Hoping to go back and try out some of their snacks & tea.

We visited Dil Bahar Cafe for the first time today. I was so glad to hear that their chicken is hand-slaughtered zabiha! The restaurant is decorated pretty nicely with a lot of cultural Pakistani artifacts. I appreciate the effort put into the aesthetics of the place :). Indoor seating is available. Also, have two picnic benches outside. The owner was sweet and we had a nice conversation. Clean, family-friendly restaurant with good zabiha food, what more can you ask for? We will be visiting again.

Yelp
This place never ever fails! When visiting my sister, we went 3 times in one trip. And she herself is there regularly, it's that consistently good! The food is exceptional, real authentic desi chaat and small plates. They have dessert items I never see on menus like shahi tukde (10/10) and gajjar ka halwa (10/10). They also serve delicious kachuri and sabzi (10/10). And lastly, Kashmiri AND karak chai!!! They used to have indoor seating but now it's just outdoor seating set up. May be tricky when it rains, but I'm sure they will set up a canopy. The vibe is always nice though! You will see families, first dates, or solo chai enjoyers with a book. 10/10! Lastly the service is very hospitable! It feels like you're visiting your own families restaurant. The owner has live music often, he is a singer himself! In summary, I cannot recommend this place enough!

Yelp
Best but expensive I enjoyed but why are they so costly? I will recommend it... Service is also good.

Yelp
Wow this place is so nice, adorned with cultural elements, cute flowers in the ceilings and just a fun vibe. It's a must if you are visiting GA or live here. This cafe is a year old and already a local favorite. On the weekends they have live music entertainment. On the weeknights they have old nostalgic Bollywood/ Lollywood songs playing. I'm so sad we had already had dinner right before going here and only tried the dessert. But they have yummy desi street food. They have many drink options like variety of teas, lassis and more. In desserts they have falooda, kulfi, gajjar ka halwa, cookies, pastries and more. This time we only tried the kulfi and gajjar ka halwa. Both were delicious. Hope to be back to try the other things on their menu and enjoy the nice atmosphere of this place.

Yelp
Food was amazing, everything was so flavorful, expect a bit of spicy, only for people who can handle spice food came out relatively quick too, it's a self order kiosk concept. Only limited seating outdoors but really cute place!

Yelp
5 stars is not enough for the homiest cafe with amazing food. Ordered the papri chaat and a kettle of chai, and could not have been happier with the food. It was ready within minutes, super polite, fast customer service. To our surprise, the owner started singing some Bollywood songs which made our evening even better. Have always heard great things about this place and now I see why. I can't wait to bring friends and family here not just for the food, but to hear some live music as well.

Yelp
Just a really nice spot to come and hang out. The owners and staff are clearly very great people, they are very courteous and friendly. If you're lucky, you'll get to hear the owner sing live or you'll be able to sit by the outdoor fire pit. Really great Karachi Street food, and just really good vibes overall. The kitchen closes about 30 to 45 minutes before closing. I always get the falooda, and their chaat is great too.

Yelp
A warm hidden family owned chat place where food is made with love and served by the family. My first time trying the Kashmiri chai and it was delicious. Bun kabab was perfect to the taste. Owners are so welcoming and humble. Occasionally the owner would sing nostalgic hindi songs. Definitely a place to stopby for chat n some snacks. Desserts are all home made and mouth watering. Highly recommended..

Yelp
This place is such a vibe. Makes you feel like you're in Pakistan out for a decent cup of chai. They are appetizer heavy. All the lassi, chaat and snacks you ate growing up. Highly recommend the bun kabob and falooda. Sooo tasty. Next time I come back I want to try the hunter beef sandwich. My only con is that the pani puri was mediocre. The pani portion size was off and honestly just imli sooo not that tasty.

Teju C.

Yelp
I just ate pani puri. It was not even a pani puri it was just tamerine. As soon I ate one the puri I felt like I am eating tamerine which was just cooked. In that water it had soo much tamerine pulp. I went to front desk and said This has tamarind pulp in it and it's not even sweet need a sweet sauce and owner kept saying pani puri is like this only. I was shocked. Not going back!

Yelp
Delicious meal! Loved the bun kabab. Will definitely come back again and tell my friends about it. The only thing the restaurant can improve is the use of plastic cutlery. There was an excessive use of plastic which is personally very odd putting for me. The use of nice dinnerware will add to the charm of this nice cozy cafe and also be more visually appealing.

Yelp
Bun kabob w Fries - excellent! Chicken tender - very poor. Hard as rock! Samosa (meat) - excellent. Hot and crispy!

Yelp
Just went here to check it out, and got the dil bahar drink - it was delicious. Can't wait to come back to try more items out. The owner and workers were very warm and welcoming, it has a great atmosphere. May Allah bless them with more everyday iA

Yelp
Awesome! Went recently and got the two rolls (chicken and beef), a chaat to share and a mixed berry lassi. All were excellent. The chaat is intense (it's a yogurt base, with chickpeas and other stuff mixed in), so we only ate about half of it and took the other half home. I definitely want to come back and try other stuff on the menu.

Yelp
Love love love this cozy small cafe... the vibe of the place is really cozy... i wish to own and run this kind of cafe if i ever get a chance... the owners are really humble and very warm and welcoming... the whole staff was really pleasant... loved it

Yelp
Just found this new hidden gem! What an awesome place to go for dessert and chai! Their Kashmiri chai is awesome and the falooda is loaded! Can't wait to go again. The service is great. The owner actually sings oldies songs and has a nice voice. It's a lovely place but a little small. So have to wait for table on weekends. I hope they expand quickly as I expect to go every weekend!!!

Shaheryar A.

Yelp
I love this place, food is to die for and the ambience is great. Love the owner and his singing and wonderful personality.
