As a home barista, I love to try coffee from different roasters. I prefer coffees on the medium-light end of the roast spectrum, and I felt deceived by DCR's roast level descriptions - their "medium-light" is darker than some other specialty roasters' dark, and their "medium" (on the picture) is obviously also super dark and very oily. What's the point of carrying all these different beans - they all taste the same when burned to a crisp.

I had quite a lovely experience at DCR, I went to buy my usual 5lb bag of whole beans and was informed that the blend I requested was unavailable and then I was quickly given a replacement bag of beans and a few additional bags of coffee beans I was pleasantly surprised. I later came to find out the owner of the roaster’s was the individual who helped me out. They also have multiple samples of different coffee, very tasty! Love their merchandise as well.

Bought our local coffee roaster Dancing Goats just to fire everyone and shut down the roastery / coffee shops. They're reportedly still selling their lesser-quality coffee to existing customers to milk the brand. Unethical. Some great people lost their jobs because these people bough a company to kill regional competition.

I love Dillanos coffee my favorite is metro. They have a big variety to choose from. Customer service is amazing and everyone that works for this company are super friendly and awesome!

Never went to the roastery in person, but when I lived up in Silverdale and had All-Star there…that’s how I was first introduced to DCR. Since 2019, my husband and I have been purchasing their coffee (as well as many of their other products, which have been superb from a baristas perspective) from their website and have it shipped to us. We have tried going to other places that are local to us, as we live in NC now, and nothing compares; we always tell each other, don’t change what isn’t broke and can say DCR has the best beans I’ve ever tried. They have such a wonderful variety of roasts and espresso. Their website is easy to navigate and order from…my favorite is that it details where the origin of the beans are, what that particular roast would be good for, brewing wise, and you can even pick whole bean or have them grind it to your liking and what you have available to brew the coffee. Honestly, I could go on and on! 5 Stars…10/10!

Google
Excellent coffee! But tell the baristas we’re here for the coffee not buying a cup of ice.

We have been a loyal customer of Dillanos coffee for many years. We would consider that out of all those years we've only had one mediocre bag of coffee! They are pretty dang consistent 👏

Yelp
Best beans in the area for home use and commercial. I have been in a few times and they're always helpful. The shop always has free coffee waiting for customers who walk in.

Yelp
Best coffee in the local area. Comes out smooth and creamy from my espresso machine. I only go to espresso stands who have Dillanos.

Yelp
Pretty neat place I wish they had all their syrups out to taste so you can pick your favorite! They have so many to choose from Ask for your military discount

Yelp
The best coffee and the best company! Tired of all the noise from the Siren? Me too. Dillanos truly invests in the local community and provides a delicious coffee. Great flavor, great people.

Yelp
Prices high for a 20 ounces coffee paid 5.25 dollars, that tastes burnt. This is my first time going to this shop. Wish there was a Dutch Bro closer.

Yelp
I have been a long time customer (several years). I am not a business and I purchased a case of Gosh That's Good sugar free white chocolate because I cannot have sugar. I called this morning to make sure they were open since we have bad wildfires in the area. The person that answered the phone was extremely rude. I said I wanted to order the case and she asked me if I was a business. I told her no it was personal. She rudely told me they only sell Gosh That's Good to business customers. She said I would have to buy THEIR brand B2B. I have tried their brand and it is nowhere as good. It's chalky and hard to get to mix fully. I mentioned I have been buying GTG from them for years. She hung up on me. After I got over the shock of being hung up on. I started looking for another place to get GTG, I found I can subscribe on Amazon for just $3.00 more a bag. It cost more than that to drive to Sumner. I guess I should thank them for getting me to look elsewhere. I know my $100 every few months is no big loss but being rude and hanging up on a long time customer was wrong.

Yelp
Luck was absolutely with us. In August, we were traveling through the land of coffee miracles (i.e. Washington state). I have a painful distain of Starbucks and wanted to prove to myself that there were really much better coffees, GOOD coffees, that deserved recognition and appreciation. I do not believe in jumping on the bandwagon just because..... One of my passions that trip was to bring home as many bags of dark roast coffee beans as I could justify, as long as there was room in my freezer. And, just so you know, we had just bought a gi-normous upright freezer, so the door was open, so to speak. We happened to stop somewhere that carried this brand of coffee. Now, if I could only remember where. Probably a mom and pop coffee house, maybe the Brazilian bakery in Bellevue or Metronome Coffee in Tacoma? Only one bag of Dillano's Peruvian coffee beans made it home with us, untasted. Yesterday, we finally opened it and filled the grinder. My biggest regret, this bag of coffee was un-labled, so now I have no clue what it is and why I chose this one. It was most likely a very dark espresso type, because that is the happy result of my first brew. Unable to pass you a cup of coffee through your internet line, you will just have to trust me. This is amazing dark, rich, well roasted coffee. Obviously..... because I choose to give it 5 stars. Coffee wimps, this is not a coffee for you. But they do many types of roasts and beans, so perhaps a lighter one? The nice thing is.....in spite of the many awards it has won, it is a very affordable coffee ranging between $8 to $12 a 12-ounce bag at the time of my review. And the even nicer thing....I can order it online and enjoy it again and again. I am looking forward to restocking with this brand. This one is a real keeper!

Yelp
In Sumner Washington lye's a wonderful coffee roaster named Dillanos. Dillanos prides themselves on there "smooth" coffee and espresso and let me tell you smooth it is! Every roast I have had from these guys and gals is delicious and it's no wonder they won the Roast Magazine 2011 Roaster of the Year! While driving through Washington State and seeing all the different coffee drive through stands I actually look in the windows for the Dillanos logo because it's just that good. If you get a chance to stop into there main building in Sumner WA, I highly recommend you do... and load up your luggage with a pound of whatever you desire.. It's really worth the stop. When it comes to great coffee Dillanos hits the spot.

Yelp
This brand of white coffee is very good I have tried three other brands of white coffee and nothing compares to you to the taste of this one it's well worth the extra money to get.

Yelp
Actually went to the Sumner, WA roaster for a class. I can proudly say it was Dillanos that made coffee paletable for me (I use to gag at even the smell). The building was super hip and cozy, you can tell the employees loved their job and the coffee. The stand I work at grinds Dillon's blend and we're always getting asked what we use! People love it! ...and its the only coffee I can open the bag of beans to and just love the smell! Quality stuff!

Yelp
I have enjoyed Dillano's coffee since it started in a small space in Buckley, WA. It was the first time I'd ever seen coffee beans being roasted. The smell was so rich and heavenly. Once they moved into bigger digs I didn't get to buy directly from them as often, but I would buy bags from small stands in town to have as my home brew. I love to drive by individual stands that have the DILLANOS sign. I know I will always get a great cup of coffee if I stop there.

Yelp
Having a coffee roaster so close to where you live makes it so much easier if I end up running out of coffee beans for the shop to just go drive 20 min to get a few batches of coffee beans and they are really helpful. They have training for new barista which help coffee shop owners life a little bit easier with continuing their own shop training. The facility it's so clean and the set up is very home while having a professional setting. During the summer when you get out of the car you can already smell the greatness of the coffee beans. This is just an awesome place.

Yelp
Amazing local coffee roaster. This company has an avid Starbucks gal ready to switch. The amazing team at Dillanos is what makes this brand standout. The facility is amazing to walk into. They have a beautiful reception area with retail items and coffee not only ready to drink but also in kcup and cold brew to try right there. They also have a beautiful espresso bar lounge and a cupping/tasting room.We were there on a tour and the team members who gave us the coffee talk, tour and tasting were not only super friendly but really were passionate about their jobs. They had so much info to share and happily answered questions. As well as all the other team that would walk by would smile and say hello..love this!I also really loved some of the company's core values they had posted especially one that was toward the bottom..it said something like this..We donate not because of obligation but because of desire and that we are thankful for having enough that we can donate.I love that!Love a company that really appreciates their blessings and it seems like their team is well loved. We need more of what they are brewing up at Dillanos!

Yelp
Every roast I've tried so far has been outstanding in flavor. I love that I can buy coffee beans directly from my favorite roaster. Every time I've come in to the shop the service has been great. The front desk has gone over and beyond in service when they are helping me choose what to get this time.

Yelp
Ordered a chai latte & it was pretty much room temperature. Tasted good but not what I wanted in a chilly day.

Yelp
Dillanos roasts great coffee, and sells bags of coffee, as well as coffee accessories, brewing tools, syrups, sauces, and powders on site. However, Dillanos is NOT a cafe. Stop by and pick up some coffee to brew at home!

Yelp
I've never been to the corporate headquarters in Sumner, but I live in Kent and can honestly say Dillanos coffee is the best in the area, and considering that the 'area' is Seattle (or even WA), and that equates to a world-wide competitiveness. Its very smooth and delicious...I first had Dillanos at Urban Timber, a beautiful extra dark roast which I frequently drink nowadays; because once you try it, you just can't downgrade ever again. There are some great micro-roasters in Seattle, but Dillanos is competitive if not better than some of the top Seattle roasters, and it's headquartered in the South Sound area :) I now search out Dillanos all the time, checking the for their signage in local small drive-through coffee shop windows. But of course I keep some in my freezer for whenever I please. I do wish I could tour their roasting facility too, but cant find any info. on availability. Anyhow, its the best. Try it, you'll love it too!

Yelp
Best coffee roaster in Pacific northwest. I am lucky to live downwind and the aroma is AWESOME. They have the smoothest roasts, best favors and no nasty after taste. They have store on the roasting plant in Sumner....go buy

Mykel P.

Yelp
Absolutely without a doubt, the best coffee roaster period. This company has amazing coffee, but more importantly, they are just great people! My sister and I have owned coffee shops for 15 years and Dillanos has contributed so much to our success! They support us and continue to help us navigate the industry as things grow and change. I would recommend Dillanos as a coffee consumer and as a small business owner. If you haven't tried Dillanos, you have no idea what you're missing.
