The 13 Best Dim Sum Spots In Philly - Philadelphia - The Infatuation

"There aren’t many options for dim sum in University City, which makes Dim Sum House super useful. We typically bring a group and go for the scallion pancakes or honey-vinegar spare ribs, plus a couple of spring rolls and golden egg tarts. So come with a few people, engulf some wontons in chili oil. You can make reservations ahead of time, in case you don't want to risk having to wait for dim sum elsewhere in the city." - candis mclean, alison kessler

Where to Get Philly’s First Legal Takeout Cocktails | Eater Philly

"Both Dim Sum House locations — University City and Rittenhouse — are selling their signature cocktails named after movies, like the Chase the Dragon with Knob Creek rye, chrysanthemum syrup, grapefruit, and poppy tincture. There’s a full bar so a lot of the standard mixed drinks will be available too." - Rachel Vigoda

Service - Excellent, friendly, they bring a delicious pot of tea when you sit down and give you time to pick your food. Atmosphere - Very comfortable, clean, family or friend or date friendly. Food - Pork soup dumplings were very good overall. We also had the crab and pork soup dumplings and honestly couldn't tell the difference but they were both good. Honestly the Dan Dan noodles were delicious but make sure you stir them and add a little vinegar and soy for the perfect bite, trust me the vinegar and soy break up the oil off your tongue and make it a perfect! Would I say better than all, no, would I say I'm going back, absolutely! I would add the chili oil to the dumplings after cracking open or a little soy. Enjoy!

Great shareable dishes at reasonable prices. Definitely a have to try it place. You can order small plates to try many different foods you have never had before. Find something you like, just order more. Started out with the Pork Soup Dumplings, Taiwanese Style Pan Fried Noodes, Goyza Dumplings, Sauteed Baby Bok Choy, and White Rice. All the food was superb. The food was delicious, and our server was great.

Great food! So glad to have a Dim Sum Location on Jersey side of the River! Fourth time here and I can’t say enough about the amazing food and wonderful staff. My favorite, the soup dumplings were devoured, before we took a pic.

The food is delicious! The wonton in chili sauce is a must try 😋 my personal favorite is the Chengdu spicy fried rice 👌 the servers are friendly, service is prompt. And too expensive. Must try

First time visiting, and the food was okay. I personally didn’t like the breading for the salted baked squid, definitely different than what I’m used to eating in Chinatown. Soup dumplings were good. My favorite dish was the snow pea tips. Free hot tea served is always good.

I've been here twice now--once for dinner and once for the lunch specials--and the food was great both times. The portions are generous enough that I take half my meal home (although my hungry friends can finish their plate). We received extra plates and were able to share our meals. The store is pretty and spacious. The wall mural is lovely and decor is calm and cute. The booths have a huge amount of space in the seats. Meals are served with hot barely tea (yum!). The scallion pancakes and eggplant with garlic sauce are my favorite. I look forward to trying more dishes and desserts!

We came on a Saturday morning and it was completely empty. Service was great and fast. The food is good, though I thought some dishes lacked value due to small size. Dishes we loved: soup dumplings, and cucumber salad. The squid was mostly good, though some pieces were very tough. The beef pancake was a tad cold, but overall good. I was not a fan of the hot and sour soup, but it was a good size bowl and my husband enjoyed it. Interestingly, they only played Taylor swift music. I loved it personally. Overall, I would come back.
