The 27 Best Restaurants In Chinatown - New York - The Infatuation

"Hands down, the best location of this NYC Cantonese chain is in Chinatown. Open until 3am every night, the dining room is a scene populated by every type of LES person: NYU students, Dimes Square fashionistas, and local families that have been going there forever. There are no carts, but things like shredded duck spring rolls, crispy short rib, and salted egg yolk buns taste better fresh out of the kitchen anyway. Or, share some big plates of Cantonese food like lobster yee mein and pork chop." - bryan kim, molly fitzpatrick, willa moore, neha talreja, will hartman

The Best Restaurants in Fidi

"Unlike its late-night Chinatown sibling on Division Street, this location of Dim Sum Palace only stays open until 10 p.m. But it is an ideal pick for group dining, especially without a reservation. Find Cantonese dim sum classics here like shrimp shumai dumplings, rice rolls, and more." - Eater Staff

Google
Phenomenal experience. Waiter was very good with recommendations. Food was hot and in big portions. Fried rice was cooked perfectly and the pork was tender. So many flavors for their dumplings, bbq dumplings were great. Short wait time. Also picked up a coconut cake which was very jello like, but good. Tasted amazing will be back.

Google
Outstanding Seafood Restaurant Review This restaurant truly impressed me. The food is delicious, the service is excellent, and the seafood selection is incredibly diverse. The environment is clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed. Every visit feels enjoyable, and the staff always make you feel welcome. A top choice for anyone who loves great seafood!

Google
Dim Sum Palace is a total win! The space is clean, modern and bright, service is friendly and prompt, and food comes out super fast—even at peak lunchtime. The beef chow mein is flavorful with tender beef, har gow is fresh and juicy, and the fish stir-fry with veggies is light and delicious. Portions are generous for the price, too. Will absolutely return!

Google
I always go to the Chinatown location but decided to try this one near my apt today. I came in at 815PM and it was not busy but 1 hour later, it picked up pace Food 3.5/5 I ordered the salty fish fried rice and it was not fried enough nor can you taste the salty fish plus they did not use overnight rice, so I asked them to add more salty fish back in and they did extremely quickly but it’s still missing the “Wok air” which means how long it’s fried for which is both dependent on the chef and whether or not the restaurant is busy? Ambiance 4.5/5 Very different from Chinatown’s location but it’s extremely fitting for FiDi. Wine room/wooden accents/and tile floors in lieu of a carpet. Smaller and toned down Chinese visuals but the led wall art does bother the eyes a little after long exposure Service 5/5 Never fails regardless of location

Google
The food here was very good. I tried their dumplings and the rice‑noodle dumplings — both were really delicious. The fried rice was decent as well and came in a generous portion.

Google
Super yummy! Pork shu mai, shanghai pork baos, spare ribs, and yang chow fried rice were really yummy. Preserved egg and pork was my favorite, definitely 5/5. Super flavorful and tasty!! Service was really prompt and friendly as well!

Google
loved all the food! quick and friendly service! we got the shanghai fried rice, shrimp dumplings, chicken dumplings, chicken shao mai, and the pan fried chive pancakes! everything was super flavourful and yummy especially w the chili oil!

Google
Our group had a fantastic meal here. The food came in so many varieties and we were thoroughly stuffed. Highly recommend you get the private room in the back for larger groups. I’m still craving their dumplings 🥟!

Yelp
So happy a dim sum spot comes to Seaport!! Not the best Dim Sum Palace I've had but it fix the craving. Wish the XO Stir Turnip can actually have XO Sauce. LOVE the Taro & Sweet Potato & Broccoli fried in Salted Egg Yolk dish.

Yelp
We had been to the restaurant located on the Bowery at Chatham Square, Chinatown, operating towards the tail end of the Covid pandemic. A devastating fire ended that short existence. The business had opened at this new location on Division Street a year ago, and we tried it for dinner. Spanking new digs, shiny decor. Nice. I like that the menu has lots of pictures. We had the beef short ribs. Seasoned just right, tender. I even ate some of the fat off the bone. It was that good. I like the calamari with cashews and peppers. No need for marinara sauce. The pea shoots in broth with dry shrimp was very tasty. Service was attentive. Even the tea pot was refilled quickly, gratis. Now we have to come back for dim sum. One of the few places open in Chinatown late, until 3am.

Yelp
Came here with a group of friends for a birthday and it was incredible! Nonstop delicious steamed BBQ pork buns, peanut veggie dumplings, salted egg yolk buns, shrimp dumplings and more. All the buns are fluffy and fresh and the dumplings are off the charts. Such a calm and nice atmosphere, nothing is rushed and way quieter on a weekend because it's in FiDi. Can't wait to come back. 5 stars!!!

Yelp
We were staying in the financial district and this option was super close. Not too crowded on a late Sunday AM so we got fast seating. Menu options were standard, pricier than we are used to but it's NYC. Overall food was good, favorite dishes were the pros noodle wrap and the pork buns. We were in and out quickly so we could enjoy the city afterwards. Also used their 10% discount with reservations.

Yelp
I'm glad there's a dim sum place right where I live so I don't have to go all the way to Chinatown. The restaurant is really clean and quick. I definitely recommend getting their egg tart at the end. I always order some to go next door where there's a designated area for take out.

Yelp
Finally find a good Chinese food that's open till4am . Huge menu, great service . Loving it ....

Yelp
This place is definitely cater towards the non Asian population, more of the corporate meetings / touristy people. The food isn't too bad but of course the price that comes with it makes the meal itself just a tad bit less appetizing. We had ordered a variety of dimsum sally of which were pretty good and nothing to complain about. Your standard dimsum choices and flavors. I would recommend only if you have a dinsum craving like I did that day. This place is open 24/7 and is pretty convenient when you've had a few too many drinks in the middle of the night. I recommend their chicken feet, tripe salad, and fried squid. If you are looking for a more filling option the beef chow fun is smoky and delicious as well !

Yelp
Good dim sum spot near Wall Street, they had some one of a kind items like abalone shumai or black truffle shrimp dumpling. They have a full bar so if you want to order a cocktail with your dim sum you could, I like mine with hongkong style milk tea, unfortunately they don't provide the hot version so there's only iced milk tea. The service was quick and the place is clean and bright. They accept cards with a 4 percent surcharge.

Yelp
Very solid dim sum close to Fulton Station. It's definitely pricey but considering the clean, airy, bright interior and attention to detail with the food, I think it's worth. The service was also pretty good when I went, and they were on top of refilling our tea and water. Everything we ordered was executed pretty well and tasted how I would expect. Anything labeled "crispy" was actually crispy and consistent. The peking duck was glistening and each slice was roughly the same size with a beautiful even layer of fat. The exceptions: - The black truffle har gow was $16 for four pieces, but we were so intrigued that we had to order them. The outer wrapper of the har gow has a smoothly infused truffle flavor. Would I pay $4 apiece for it again? Probably not, since regular har gow is just as good in my opinion, but it was nice to try. - Salted egg taro bun: couldn't taste the salted egg! The filling was evenly distributed though, and the bun itself was baked symmetrically and beautifully. - Matcha rice ball: this was a black sesame ball with not much filling at all and I couldn't taste any matcha.

Yelp
Delicious Dim Sum located in The Financial District. We spent our last day in New York City looking for something quick to eat in the middle of what felt like a tropical storm. Dim Sum Place hit the spot! The service was quick and the food was authentic. We enjoyed a mix of dim sum and noodle dishes that were enough for the two of us to split. The Mongolian Beef ($21) was actually packed with beef. The BBQ Pork Dumplings ($6.50 brought 3 in one serving) were delicious and also packed with pork. The breading was also very fluffy and doughy-- so delicious! The shrimp dumplings ($6.50, also brought 3 in one serving) were also packed with flavor. I wish we had more dim sum options back home in Miami. If you're staying in the Wall Street area and are craving authentic Chinese food and dim sum, Dim Sum Palace is definitely a restaurant to consider!

Yelp
I'm so happy this opened up nearby! Its easy enough to get to off of Fulton st station. This restaurant has a lot of great seating and offers reservations online as well. There's two entrances so be sure to choose the dine in on the right where the left is for pick up or take out. They offer the most obvious dim sum like rice noodles, shui mai, har gow, and all at the average going price. The menu is large but not as extensive as you would find at other dim sum restaurants, but no complaints here as I'm so happy there is one nearby. They also offer your traditional roast meats over rice or in noodle soup. I'm looking forward to trying that next time. They even have congee! Make sure you bring friends so you can try a larger variety of food and dishes.

Alyssa A.

Yelp
The food was so good, I had the Mongolian beef, Spicy crispy beef and pork fried rice. The inside of the restaurant was really cute as well!

Yelp
Came here for a dinner one evening. We ordered a variety of dishes. Everything was pretty decent, although the pork/taro dish and the sticky rice were too salty for me. My biggest complaint is the service--I feel that for a restaurant selling food at this price point, I shouldn't have to ask 3 times just to get a glass of water.
google avatar

Yelp
I came here twice for lunch with my colleague. We ordered dim sum dishes and entrees to share. The dim sum is quite good and we tried the har gow, shrimp noodle rolls, chicken feet, and soup dumplings. For the entrees, we tried the egg noodle soup with roast pork, the fried rice, and the roast duck. The food is tasty and very delicious. Their hot chili oil is great to eat with the dim sum. The prices are definitely higher than Chinatown prices, which is expected since you are dining in FiDi area. The restaurant gets pretty busy, but we usually come by 12pm to ensure that we will get a table.

Yelp
Heading from financial district to Chinatown for dim sum and passed this place. It is newly opened, so my friend & I decided to give it a try. Upon entry, it's spacious, new & everything very Asian modern. Furniture were new and comfortable & love the brightness. The waiter immediately came over & asked if he could be of service. We ordered a pot of Jasmine tea. $8 a pit... Hmm... I decided to order the classic to determine quality and taste. Every dim sum place must have these basic dishes. For example, steamed rice rolls with fillings. They ran out so can't taste compare. We decided to order quarter of a duck, taro salted egg bun, chicken feet, seafood shumai & stir-fry radish cakes. Final conclusion: half were a success & half were a miss. Yes to: Stir-fried radish cakes (Fragrant, crispy & not mushy), chicken feet (simmered just right, not too mushy or oily erith slight firmness, not over done) and seafood shumai (fresh, we chose no pork so like a slight variety) Miss: duck was mostly bones & skins, no meat), taro bun (did not taste the salty egg, too much taro though the bun was right in thinness) Overall it is pricier than Chinatown for the same dishes but slight up on decor & service.

Yelp
Stumbed on this place while looking for food in the area. First thing I noticed is they have live crabs and eels in the fish tank overlooking the dining room. There are tons of dim sum options to choose from. The shanghai fried rice was the most disappointing meal. The shrimp shumai were good. The vegetable dumplings also solid. The spring rolls were just ok. The dumplings stuck together and stuck to the paper. Not sure if that is meant to happen. I liked the chilli oil that comes on the side. Not too spicy too. Overall, it was a decent meal but I wouldn't come back.

Yelp
Not bad at all. 123 William has had its fair share of turnovers. I am very happy with the latest contender: dim sum palace. This place definitely has a chance to shine and stand out in the midst of numerous generic fast food chains surrounding it. A few of my coworkers have already tried this place and they did warn me that during lunch hour super busy and service could be slow. So I tried to avoid this place and thought maybe one day I could come after work. I got lucky today . It was raining outside and assumed not l many people would be out getting lunch. I go inside and was immediately seated for a table of one and service was pretty quick too. I ordered my favorite dishes, which was shrimp rice noodle roll [$6.50] , (or seafood roll as they put it on the menu) and egg yolk buns [ $6.50 ]. The dishes were pretty good. The price point was just about right for me, although my colleagues have said they have seen cheaper dim sum. However, given this is in the heart of FIDI, the price point is understandable. I noticed they have large group seating like traditional dim sum, restaurants and I think this would be great for work gatherings.

Yelp
It seems in order to expand and amalgamate, actual Chinese people somehow entirely missed the mark of Americanized New-York "brown gravy" "corner joint" places AND ALSO actual authentic Sichuanese food. Even though I have only tried three dishes, they're basics, and if they got those right then I'd be willing to pay the steep prices for their larger dishes, but since they unfortunately got them so very wrong there's absolutely no way I'd be willing to spend that much money to risk & fail.
google avatar

Bruno J.

Yelp
There was a variety of options on the menu. The food was great especially the taro steamed buns, shrimp shumai, chicken shumai, and the pork bun! Service could be slightly better since we had to get their attention a few times. The ambiance was very nice as well.
google avatar

Carlson Z.

Yelp
There's actually two sides to this place, one for takeout only and a proper sit down restaurant. We were confused at first and tried to order from the takeout side before getting seated at a table. The dim sum we tried here was all pretty good and flavorful. We got pork & egg congee, soup dumplings, salt & pepper shrimp, and beef noodle roll. Would definitely come back again.
google avatar

Jen C.

Yelp
Really great selection of dim sum. The interior is really nice and the staff are friendly prices are on the higher end for dim sum, but for the amount of variety you get lots of vegetarian options. Also they have lunch specials available with their soy chicken and beef, stew, rice, combos with vegetables it's about $16 per order, and you get a lot of food
google avatar

Francesca L.

Yelp
Best dim sum in NYC. they have multiple locations over the city- all of them are fantastic. I've never had a bad meal at these restaurants. Everything on the menu is great. This location is their newest and is a great space. Fishtanks for live fish, really comfortable chairs, and everything was super clean. This location has some menu options not available at other locations- like truffle dumplings!
google avatar

Yelp
This is a new spot that just opened up within the past few days. went in and saw that all of the items were clean. got the dim sum which was great and freshly steam in front of us got the scallion pancakes and those were crunchy and not oily at all which was great. additionally also got the chicken fried rice which was light and not oily either. the sauces that came on the side which was soy sauce and hot oil were great when added to the food. they have two sets of menus and it seems they are training the staff but overall i was satified and happy with the food,

Yelp
Pretty solid dim sum spot in FiDi; I thought it was cool that for a party of 8 people, they gave us a private room with a rotating tray. The food was quite alright - I think I preferred the mains here (eggplant with garlic sauce) over the dim sum ordered (scallion pancakes, dumplings, etc.) but that's probably just personal preference. My favorite dim sum item was the cucumbers in sweet & spicy sauce; I'd order that again. Pretty affordable (~20-25$ pp) so I think it's a good option for a group meal, but wouldn't rush back on my own.

Anna R.

Yelp
The food here is really good and tasty, especially the roast pork and soy sauce chicken. However, I tried to order just roast pork to go without rice and the portion size was so small! The lady at the to go counter is rude and has an attitude. Customers would ask her for hot sauce and forks, she would huff and puff then roll her eyes as if it was a huge bother. Service can improve but the food.
google avatar

Michael R.

Yelp
We came here for dim sum as we saw the restaurant was highly rated. The staff was very nice and the service was quick and helpful, but the food was honestly pretty disappointing. The many dumplings we got were really goopy and sticky on the outside (almost gluey) and the fillings were nothing special. The duck dumplings we got were not good at all. It wasn't too expensive, which was good, but we wouldn't return.
google avatar

Gigi S.

Yelp
I got the crispy garlic spare ribs, pork and chive steamed dumplings and the Shanghai fried rice with added chicken. The crispy spare ribs were a bit over cooked but tasted good. The dumplings were so salty I couldn't finish them. I mean very salty. The fried rice was basically yellow rice with 0 taste and the chicken they added was off putting to say the least. It had a strange taste that I cannot describe. It was chewy and it did NOT look appealing either. Needless to say I am upset I spent $34 for mediocre fare. I should have walked over to Joe's Shanghai or WoHop.
google avatar

Brad B.

Yelp
I was surprised to see a very beautiful upscale interior very comfortable seating sadly the food did not match. I really wanted to love this place I will be back to try again because I did show up just at closing and they still served me. They do have a full bar FYI. I had a mushroom dumpling terrible I had a pork and chive dumplings very mediocre. Had scallops and asparagus as a main course rubbery. I will give them one more try because the location is terrific and the interior is great I'll stick to chicken probably next time.

Yelp
I was happy when I saw this new dim sum restaurant under construction during the last few months. Usually, I travel to Chinatown Manhattan or Flushing when I want good Chinese food. There is virtually nothing in Lower Manhattan that is acceptable. So it was interesting that Dim Sum Palace appeared to be a "modern style" Chinese restaurant that, in least in appearance, promised to have reasonably authentic and tasty Chinese food. I went in with my son to order some food to take out. (First of all, this is not an actual "dim sum" place where they come around with carts and you can select what you want. Everything is a separate order.) I ordered congee with century egg and pork, pork and chive dumplings, beef chow fun, duck spring rolls and my son wanted noodles with sesame sauce. The total came to $58, which was already quite a bit more than it would have been in Chinatown. My verdict on the food - Extremely mediocre, bordering on inedible. Of course, I should have been forewarned when I saw the dining room had only non-Chinese customers, but I had hopes that there was a decent place near me, so I persevered. 1) The congee was inedible at $8.95. It tasted old. There were only tiny flecks of pork and century egg in it, just watery rice soup with hardly any pork or egg, very chintzy, and it had a weird taste. It was also off-color. I had a few spoonfuls and threw it out. I was afraid to consume it. 2) Pork and chive dumplings were barely OK, but it was a tiny portion for $6.50. No thanks, not again. 3) Sesame cold noodle for $9.95 was thick, udon type noodles with a ultra sweet sauce. There were also tomatoes which did not belong there. Again, I felt gypped and couldn't finish it. Not really what I usually order but I expected it to be better from a restaurant that takes pride in what they are cooking. 4) Beef Chow Fun for $18.95 was more expensive than in Chinatown. It was OK. Small pieces of beef and small portion, with an acceptable "breath of the wok". It was the only thing we ordered that was OK, which is faint praise. On a scale of one to ten I would rate it a "5". 5) Duck Spring rolls were absolutely disgusting. I could not find any duck in them, just a greasy wrapper for $6.95. I don't know what was in the filling but it tasted like pure grease and no duck that I could discern inside. So it's a no-go for me. If I want good Chinese food, I'll continue to make the trek to Chinatown. This place looks the part but it's all sizzle and no steak. I suppose if their target audience is non-Chinese people in FIDI the ignorant masses will be pleased. I will not return. I suppose I am being over critical, but any Chinese restaurant which does not have Chinese customers is certain to be bad, unless it is specifically "American-style Chinese", which is a whole different genre of food. The food here is a simulacrum of Chinese food, which aspires to look like authentic dishes, but is, in fact, food aimed at Western customers at high price points. If this is you, and you are happy when you order "chicken fried rice", "sesame chicken" or "General Tso's Chicken" when you crave "Chinese food", you might be happy here because you don't know the difference of what Cantonese food is supposed to taste like. So this new restaurant will probably do OK in this location catering to uncultured bozos with uneducated palates. I suppose Dim Sum Palace knows their target audience since they are part of a chain and they correctly aim their marketing at such people. I'll cut this off here. If you are happy eating here, you are lucky, you are easy to please.

Yelp
Review only for the Beef Noodle Soup: Really bad, bland broth. Cheap cuts of beef with mostly inedible tendon/fat, very little meat. Maybe their other dishes are better but this was a bust. Nothing worse than a bad lunch!

Carol M.

Yelp
I should have written this review a few months ago, but better late than never. My daughter had her small wedding reception at this restaurant, the one on William Street in N.Y.C. To say that the food the staff were incredible is an understatement. The food was absolutely amazing and fresh and all 32 people who attended were raving about the food all night . Let me run down all the wonderful menu items we ordered which were all amazing . Peking Duck , eggplant with spicy garlic sauce ,New York Steak with BBQ honey sauce , Deshell Lobster with fried rice, steamed live bass General Tsao's chicken, to name a few and everything was superb! I also cannot say enough kind words for the staff they were great so attentive and so genuinely helpful. They made everyone feel like very welcome and they made my daughter's wedding reception a very memorable night for sure! Last but not least the ambiance was perfect .Please give this place a try you won't regret it!

Yelp
Delicious flavorful food. I wish they had brown rice. We had duck over rice, steamed greens, pork dumplings, juicy chicken dumplings and beef noodles.

Todd K.

Yelp
Pros: Only local Chinese restaurant in this area of FiDi, great addition! Open restaurant, with tons of comfortable seating. Got 4 different dumplings to start, they were fantastic and fresh. Got the sesame chicken for the main, probably one of the best sesame chickens I have in NYC (holds to Joe's Shanghai!) which is really impressive. Cons: Very bright, almost too much so. They are still figuring out their service strategy. Our waiter made mistakes with our order, did not bring out rice, etc. Overall, a solid place with some tasty dishes but room for improvement in service. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area and craving Chinese food!

Carlos E.

Yelp
Awful service. Got here an hour before closing time and the staff were incredibly rude and appeared bothered by our presence. Called beforehand to make sure it was okay to stop by and they were fine with it so we were confused as to why they had such negative attitudes. Once we were going to pay the server, the person who I assume was in charge hovered over us to make sure we would leave a tip. Once we left the tip, they demanded 18%, yes demanded 18%! We had left 15% which I assumed was the standard but I guess not to them. They then argued with us about leaving more which was the last straw. If you're going to have the audacity to ask for more gratuity, at least have the best service to back that up. Seriously, I don't recommend it here. There was also a hair in our low-mein and we didn't complain about that but I guess I'll state this in this review.
google avatar

Sally P.

Yelp
A gem in the financial district! Large selection of the usual dim sum favorites and on point flavors. Elegant ambiance with a backroom offering large tables for big groups. Fast and attentive service.

Jannynne G.

Yelp
If I could give zero, I would. Hair found in the lo mein. Service was trash. We were going to leave a cash tip, so when the waiter noticed we selected "No Tip" for the card we used to pay he then threw the card on the table. The manager then stood over our table waiting for us to leave a tip. Terrible service and etiquette. We still left something out of courtesy even if we wanted to leave nothing. The didn't serve us. All they did was bring what we ordered and tell us that it was last call each time they came to the table. Before even getting up, the "manager" grabbed the cash to count it, then proceeded to tell us the "culture" is 18%. He said "did we not serve you?!" "Did we not stay open late for you!?" When in reality, i called asking when they closed and whoever answered said they close at 11 and the kitchen closed at 10:30 - we showed up by 10 and ordered by 10:10 latest because they told us at least twice it was last call. Change your hours if this is how you treat customers showing up in the last hour. Actually, just close down. Your food was mediocre at best - pork buns were trash, orange chicken from the frozen section, I'm sure. After everything, I would maybe go as far to say the lo mein was fine if it wasn't for the HAIR found in it. When the manager realized they were in the wrong, then they wanted to rush us out and yelled "don't come back". They don't have to worry about that.

Yelp
Unbelievably high quality food. They offer Hong Kong style as well as mainland style. We had the Hong Kong style dai sun, shrimp & bacon dim sum, iced tea, Kung pao tofu, and Kung pao chicken. Even the fried rice was fantastic. While the restaurant is below grade, tje view doesn't matter, the food was unbelievable. Must have!

jack f.

Yelp
Really good Hong Kong style small restaurant. (Definitely not a "palace" like the old JinFong or the current Golden Unicorn up in Chinatown). Seating area clean and pleasant. But it can fill up fast on weekends. Takeout window separate from dine-in section. Food excellent (noodles, congee, roasted meats). Dim sum OK. Service excellent. Close to Fulton St. subway. Recommended.
google avatar

Man W.

Yelp
Food is reasonably priced for the area. Authentic as you are going to get in the financial district. I tried the soy sauce chicken with rice and it was cooked to perfection. The roasted could been more crispier. Overall, it is a must try.

Yelp
New dim sum place in downtown. They open at 11, so if you get there earlier you can go next door for take out. Same menu. I think you can get breakfast there too in the morning. We got a pot of chrysanthemum tea for $8, pricier than other places but given that this is downtown..I guess is to be expected.. they gave us a menu to place our order. We ticked the dishes we wanted and got our order quickly. The first dish was our favorite - cilantro rice crepe - this was delicious with a perfect chewy consistency. My only complaint is that the waiter took our dishes right after we took the crepe and we wanted the sweet soy sauce and the gailan (vegetables) that came with the plate. We got distracted as another waiter was bringing the other dim sum. He took it so fast, wished he had ask if we were finished. The black truffle shrimp dumpling was $13 - the skin was good and we can taste a hint of truffle - the shrimp was nicely cooked and crunchy but probably will order the regular next time. The other three dumplings were ok, roasted duck one was a bit oily. The skins on the dumplings were translucent on the tinted side - more used to a off white from other dim sum places. The green tea mochi had black sesame paste inside which was tasty. The bun with taro and salty egg was good, filling of taro was generous. Overall a nice place to have dim sum if you want to avoid the craziness of Chinatown. $60 for about 8 dishes. We will try the noodle stuff the next time.

Yelp
I work in FiDi and I am SO HAPPY this dim sum spot opened up. Food was super fresh and delicious. I ordered right before noon and food was ready within 5 min. I got the congee with pork and egg. I think it's only one size when you order from the take out section and it's a large container. Mix your congee with chili oil and it's just chef's kiss!! The steamed shrimp dumplings were delicious too. Love that I can just walk here to pick up dim sum rather than delivery/uber eats from a spot in Chinatown. The eating area in the takeout section was quite clean. Will definitely be back to try more food.

Yelp
Avoid this location at all cost. I ordered Shu Mai and stated to eat it and the pork is raw. I ordered food here a few weeks ago and I got home and realize that they did not fill the whole order - there's something very disconnected with this particular location. I am hoping I do not get sick from this raw pork or else I will be taking legal action. I have had only good experiences with the other location, but after this I will no longer order from any of them.

Yelp
We have just tried this new location of DSP. New, modern, clean, comfortable, friendly services! The foods (Black Truffle Shrimp Dumpling, Abalone Shumai, Seafood Rice Roll, Singapore Mei Fun, Chicken Feet, Roast Pork Bun) are all well made and tasty. The ingredients are fresh and portions are big! Roast Duck Dumpling is the only dish that could be better with thinner skin wrap instead of the thick gluey one! We will definitely go back and try other dishes

Yelp
I love it here. Their duck dim sum and spring rolls are so good flavorful and juicy!! Pork soup dumplings are delicious and flavorful, wonton soup is great, everything we've had has been yummy. The only thing I wouldn't get again is their rice roll but it wasn't bad. The vibes are good and service is so fast.

Yelp
Really great to see a dim sum restaurant open in the Financial District. Menu includes all of the traditional dim sum dishes and are fresh!

Yelp
We loved this restaurant. Not as expansive in dim sum dishes but everything was delicious. The Abolone Shu Mei is fantastic. Great service, clean settings. Loved this place.
