Dim Tu Tac Dong Du

1st time eating Chinese dim sum in HCMC. Food was superb (almost feel like in HK). Service was brisk and price reasonable. When in HCMC and missed dim sum, this restaurant is it. All items I ordered came out great. Enjoy !

We went to Din Tu Tac for a family gathering and a business meeting, and the experience was outstanding. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere felt welcoming and refined. A special mention to Stella, our hostess, who truly elevated the entire dining experience. She was incredibly sweet, professional, and extremely attentive without ever being intrusive. Her warm energy and attention to detail made the atmosphere even more enjoyable and comfortable for both family and business conversations. The food was amazing—fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavour. Combined with the excellent service and inviting ambience, it made for a memorable visit. Highly recommended, especially if you’re looking for a place that delivers both exceptional food and top-tier service. We’ll definitely be back!

Excellent traditional dim sum, very authentic hong kong style food and atmosphere in the restaurant. Our server david was excellent and very attentive, highly recommended for the best dim sum in HCMC.

Dim Tu Tac delivers excellent quality food, with every dish prepared to a high standard and full of flavor. The dim sum is fresh, delicate, and beautifully presented, while the wider menu offers a good mix of traditional favorites and modern takes. Service is attentive, and the restaurant itself has a polished, welcoming feel. That said, the prices are definitely on the higher side compared to other dim sum spots. While it might not be the place for a casual everyday meal, the quality and overall experience make it worth considering as a treat. For tourists, it’s a great introduction to refined Cantonese dining in a comfortable setting. If you’re visiting, Dim Tu Tac is definitely worth a try, just go in knowing you’re paying for the quality of the food.

The whole experience was so nice and comfy! The seating was so quick and took a short time for the food to arrive. The crispy shrimp rice rolls they made were so good and we had to order 2. The staff are so polite and friendly. Ice (a staff) was extra polite and extra kind to bring us a little keychain from the Christmas event. We also got chicken wings that were crispy and juicy. The whole restaurant is so fancy and the tables and seating are all so comfy. The overall experience is a 67/10.

Overall very good dim sum, especially crispy rice shrimp rolls, but also good har gao, char siu bao, xiao long bao. Wonton soup is average. Sticky rice in lotus and egg yolk bao are below expectations, wouldn’t recommend. Very noisy place.

We came here last year, and it was excellent, and this year was no different. The Peking duck is the best we have found in Vietnam, with perfectly crispy skin, moist meat and an excellent job on the presentation. The dim is also very good, and quite extensive. Some better than others, but all quite tasty. I did think the mushroom and truffle dumplings were a miss - needed more seasoning, and couldn’t taste any truffles to honest. That said, we were all stuffed on the excellent duck. Will come back again next time!
