This is such a cute tea spot. Have a cute little patio set up outside with a few chairs on a comfortable sofa like bench. They have board games and what not available for kids and anybody really. You can come here and play some games. enjoy your drink maybe even get a snack. A lot of people seem to come here after work. Most of the time they look like they've placed online orders. I had never been so I definitely wanted to stop in myself. They have some cute plush on display. I'm sure they are just for decoration, but my little one enjoyed snuggling with them as we enjoyed our drinks together. On the menu it does list popcorn, chicken. When we went to order it, however, the cashier let us know that it is not something that they have on their menu any longer. She said that they haven't had it for a while, but for some reason, the store owner hasn't removed it. My auntie stopped in. She ordered the egg sandwich. She absolutely loved it. She ordered three more throughout the week that we were in town. I really wanted to try the Ube strawberry sandwich, but just never quite got around to it at a time when the shop was open. It was kind of weird. There was one day that my friends from Tennessee came to visit us in Louisiana, at our hotel. We wanted to walk across the street with our kids and family to grab a treat at this shop. They were not open. It was well before the said closing time of 9 PM but for whatever reason they were closed already. That was a bummer. I had never had this thing called a croffle. It sounds like it was a cross between a croissant and a waffle. Anyway, whatever it was, I was interested in trying a new dessert. It was covered in Nutella and sliced almonds. It was extremely rich and thick it but oh my God it was so good. I shared it with my other half and our kiddo. After finishing it, we all agreed that we could share another one. We never did go back for another croffle... but we did keep talking about it. If you like Nutella, you should definitely try that dessert. It is so good. The shop is very simple. You order your drink at the counter. You pay there as well if not on the kiosk machine. You wait for it, they call your name or number. You can retrieve your drink at the counter. One thing that kind of bugged me was that one this person who made my dessert brought it out for me, They took all this time to take pictures of it before giving it to me. I kept thinking to myself. I hope that is not mine. She's taking a long time to put it together and put it in a bag. Isn't it getting cold while she's taking all these pictures? I don't know. That was something that bothered me. Maybe it's because I really wanted to be the first one to take pictures of the dessert myself, but no matter. It was still really good. Over the course of a week while I stayed at the hotel just across the street, I came here almost every day. I always had something new and it was always good. Even my little one enjoyed coming here with me even if they didn't get anything. I would definitely come back here again. It is the tiniest storefront. You really have to look for it, but if you are on Baronne street, just know that it is across the street from the electric company building, which is actually the Fairfield hotel.
