The Best Portland Sports Bars for Watching Trail Blazers Games | Eater Portland

"Australian-themed sports bar Dingo’s serves meat pies and sausage rolls from down under, paired with plenty of televisions for sports watching. Owner Brendan Jones was inspired to open the bar by his own Aussie roots, and a trip back to Australia. In addition to the usual lineup of beer, wine, and cocktails, Dingo’s also serves coffee and tea for daytime games." - Rebecca Roland

The Best New Cocktail Bars in Portland, Oregon | Eater Portland

"Cocktails aren’t exactly a specialty of the house at Dingo’s, but there’s an argument to be made that watching a rugby game in a lawn chair with a frosty can of lager is the Australian equivalent. A hybrid bottle shop/sports bar/hangout space, Dingo’s makes this list simply because it’s a novelty in the Portland drinking scene. Thankfully it’s also imbued with a winning blokey charm and the extremely casual atmosphere is a welcome addition to the unpretentious Montavilla neighborhood." - Ben Coleman

Easily my favorite bar in town. It’s the only spot I’ve found that actually shows AFL footy, aka the greatest sport in the world, no argument. If you haven’t watched a game, come here and prepare to have your mind blown. The beer is solid, the staff are legends, and the vibe inside is fun without being try-hard. Plus, they’ve got parking, which in this city feels like finding gold. Totally underrated and deserves way more love. Five stars and a cheeky handpass.

Dropped by Dingos on a quiet Sunday afternoon. Aussie owner is super welcoming. He's from Sydney. I'm from Melbourne. We're good. Sat in the mini lounge area. Couch, coffee table, T.V. Bonus: North Melbourne vs. Melbourne Aussie rules (homesick 🥹). Meat pie and sausage roll (like we eat at the footy) with tomato sauce (ketchup). Fosters Premium, green can. Great cappuccino! Just like in Oz. Looking forward to our next visit.

This has become my favorite bar in town. One of the few places that opens up early for F1. Plays American and International sports. Comfy seating, solid menu, wide range of drinks and darts 🎯

Great prices and lots of TVs for all the games! Comfortable to hang out. Has good food. Lots of beer options, and full bar. Big space that can hold a party. Board and card games are available if you want them.

Nice little spot, just off the 205, two doors down from cycle gear. Could be a great start to a little strip of the PDX Moto community if others join in. Snacks, coffee, sandwiches are pretty solid, if limited in choices. However, this is a new spot and clearly a passion project by some venerable riders with a love for building a community. Free Wifi. Dope bikes parked inside, a little shop for simple work to be done, oil changes etc. Music, TV, even a rickenbacker bass. (A favorite of mine) I hope these guys do well and grow in success, and never ego.

Owner is Australian, authentic. And super nice. Place looks awesome.!! And is very family friendly. Tons of games and things to do for free. I have tried just about everything on the menu. Quality and flavor are excellent. Grilled Shrimp on the barbecue I think is my favorite so far . And the classic Tillamook toasted cheese. His tap selection is top notch. And impeccably clean! And so cold. It's at near freezing. I see a daily happy hour and daily food specials.

Really solid neighborhood spot! It feels like you’re hanging out at a friend’s place, from atmosphere to service. Great for international and local sports viewing. Full bar and good food, including vegetarian options - the veg pie is the best comfort food, and comes with a mixed greens salad. They also have good lighting if you’re looking for a late night spot to write, draw etc.

Dingo's feels like our own private hidden gem. Fantastic service and very comfortable atmosphere for a game, with a group of five of us gathered around a coffee table, sitting on a couch and lounge chairs to watch football on our own private TV. Very reasonable prices for beers, cider and seltzer, and drool worthy meat pies. We'll be back for sure!
