Dirt Dog plans expand to Sunrise | Eater Vegas

"An L.A.-born hot dog concept is preparing to open its third Las Vegas outpost in Sunrise, moving into a retail center at 5105 E. Sahara Avenue near the intersection with Nellis Boulevard. Four years after launching in the southwest at Rainbow-Shelbourne Plaza and following a 2017 walk-up counter debut at the Strip’s Grand Bazaar Shops, the brand focuses on creative takes on Nathan’s hot dogs served L.A. street-food-style and piled high with toppings. The expanded menu for the new location includes elote, chili and pastrami fries, carne asada tacos, corn on a stick, deep-fried Twinkies and horchata ice cream. A recent partnership with celebrity customer Snoop Dogg resulted in the all-beef Snoop’s Dogg, wrapped in “billionaire bacon” and finished with “gin n’ juice ketchup,” “grandma slaw,” and “doggy-style BBQ sauce.” The Sunrise Manor build is being overseen by WG Constructors, known for imaginative restaurant remodels in Chinatown such as Hobak Korean BBQ, Yui Edomae Sushi and Gäbi Coffee & Bakery. The company has been polling social media about a fourth location but has not yet announced an opening date or hours for the Sahara site." - Bradley Martin

From Cincinnati home of the Goldstar/Skyline Chilli cheese cones, we came to get a taste of Dirt Dog!! And it did not disappoint. I tried the house dog, If your a traditional girlie like me TRY IT, my husband tried the Philly with the filthy fries!! I also did the street corn which was amazing. I also topped this bomb meal off with friend oreos, I perfer a little more powered sugar but all in all, service Amazing, food Awesome!! 🧡

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! No words can accurately describe the wonderful time I had here with my family. It was our first time in here and everyone there was so kind and friendly. While ordering at the register, they let us try their agua frescas, which were so refreshing. We also had a nice conversation with them, and my dad told them I was here to celebrate my birthday the day before. Then, later on, when we finished eating they brought out some of their fried Oreos with ice cream and a sparkler, and sang happy birthday! It was a total surprise and they were so attentive and kind! Definitely come to this location, and thanks so much to Xochitl and everyone working there for making this experience so memorable and special for me and my family!

Came here yesterday and I gotta say, it was an ok experience. Service was great, our waitress was very nice and our food came out very quickly. Atmosphere was pretty nice, I enjoyed it. Food wise not so great. Honestly I didn’t enjoy the food much, it just wasn’t good. I guess the only thing I enjoyed were the deep fried Oreos, they weren’t too sweet it was just right. I wasn’t a fan of the chili dogs, nor the Al pastor taco which in my opinion were way overpriced 😬. All in all, the staff is great but the food is not that good, and way overpriced. Would I comeback again? No sorry 🤷‍♂️

Nov 2024 We ate at the Dirt Dog on Fremont Street a couple of days before eating here. We were heading out of town but also looking to stop somewhere for a late lunch. We enjoyed our meal at the Fremont location, so decided to stop here. So glad we did. A lot more options than the Fremont location. Wife got the chili dog with extra sides of cheese and chili. I again order the DUI dog. We also got chili cheese fries. The extra cheese and chili went on her dog, the fries, and also my DUI dog. So good. I wish they had these in Arizona. The price was good for what you're getting. It's on our restaurants we like lost and will definitely be coming back. Looking for a great place to have a hot dog style meal, this is it.

This is the best hot dog I’ve ever had. I live in Fontana, but unfortunately there isn’t one nearby.
