"An L.A.-born hot dog concept is preparing to open its third Las Vegas outpost in Sunrise, moving into a retail center at 5105 E. Sahara Avenue near the intersection with Nellis Boulevard. Four years after launching in the southwest at Rainbow-Shelbourne Plaza and following a 2017 walk-up counter debut at the Strip’s Grand Bazaar Shops, the brand focuses on creative takes on Nathan’s hot dogs served L.A. street-food-style and piled high with toppings. The expanded menu for the new location includes elote, chili and pastrami fries, carne asada tacos, corn on a stick, deep-fried Twinkies and horchata ice cream. A recent partnership with celebrity customer Snoop Dogg resulted in the all-beef Snoop’s Dogg, wrapped in “billionaire bacon” and finished with “gin n’ juice ketchup,” “grandma slaw,” and “doggy-style BBQ sauce.” The Sunrise Manor build is being overseen by WG Constructors, known for imaginative restaurant remodels in Chinatown such as Hobak Korean BBQ, Yui Edomae Sushi and Gäbi Coffee & Bakery. The company has been polling social media about a fourth location but has not yet announced an opening date or hours for the Sahara site." - Bradley Martin
