New to the area but have been here several times now. Each time is a unique experience. We enjoy that they have a fenced in play area for kids; as a mom, it makes all the difference. We came by once when they had all sorts of interesting vendors here. Once, we heard some live music by a duo of guitar & piano. Seems to be good diversity, the menu has some interesting flavors. The homemade ranch dressing is to die for!! I look forward to future visits, especially in the spring. @brittieseitz

Google
This was our favorite brewery on a recent trip to the area. We visited during a market day and there were a variety of local vendors to shop from. There was live music and a good variety of food trucks- all were excellent. I would highly recommend stopping while in the area.

JC Paraiso

Google
Great location, interesting experience with their events. Food from Napkins is unquestionably satisfying. Drink choices from both ends are spectacularly made. Though I wish they would cater to the smoker crowd as well. I do accept to keep them away from the general public who likes to complain about everything, However, we too are paying customers and would like some accommodations other than a single heater out in the open where we have to crowd over. There is a pavilion area that can be designated for that kind of crowd and add some electric heaters to as well so that they too can enjoy the experience of being there without feeling ostracized

Google
Dirtbag is the best place to go in the Fayetteville area. Not only do they make THE BEST beer, but they also have enough space to accommodate anyone and everyone. I love to take my dog to the park and shop the market on Sundays, and play trivia on Tuesdays.

Devin

Google
What a fun place for all!! Bring your kids and your dogs! The atmosphere was amazing for a warm day in February! The beer was tasty and the bar tenders were kind. My only complaint was the food trucks were slow, but that’s not Dirtbags fault. That review should fall on the food truck itself.

Carey Williams

Google
Awesome brewery with a huge selection of beer, wine and cider. Also huge indoor seating. Covered seating outside outdoor seating, playground and pet play areas all over! Especially if you go with a dog. This was an accidental find on our way to Columbia but so glad we found it. Would definitely love to come back! Wish we live closer!

Google
My favorite place to visit in Fayetteville NC when I am in from Kalamazoo Michigan. I always make it here at least once during my visits. I love an IPA, breakfast at a foot truck and the farmers market.

Michael Giffin

Google
Great space both indoors and outside. Tons of space. Napkins restaurant is excellent. Only tried 5 beers and they were all drinkable. Best of the bunch was the pale ale. Quick access from I95. They were setting up for live music on Friday when we were there.

Beau S.

Yelp
Best local brewery in Fayetteville hands down. They have something for everyone and the non stop events are always a hit. Highly recommended

Nick B.

Yelp
Stopped in for a quick beer & was surprised at the absolute massive compound I discovered - Dirtbag has a brewery, distillery, & food service on site at their facility. I went with the Blood Orange Kolsch & enjoyed it thoroughly. A great space with even a playground on premise. A great place to bring the family - not sure what town I was in - but this spot is a gem!

Yelp
This experience was very nice. We walked around and ordered food and drinks, met a lot of nice vendors and really enjoyed ourselves. We didn't stay long because we didn't realize it closed at 2:00 but we will return as soon as possible.

Yelp
Went here after reading about the Sunday market with food trucks and lots of beer offerings. The place is out in the boonies but well worth the trip. The market was nice and they had multiple places to get beer so you didn't have to browse with an empty hand. The food truck offerings were decent. We had some burgers and ribs. All were really good. They had a kids play area and dog area so bring them if you got them! Today they had live music with 'Into the Fog'. Really cool! They called their music 'newgrass' as they took current songs and blue-grassed them up. Really liked them and even looked the up on Apple Music. They are there! Stepping inside for a bit it was really nice. Lots of tvs and a cool mural. Over all a very cool place with some very friendly folks. We actually went back n on visit to NC a second time !

Jesika K.

Yelp
What a fun spot. The layout of the land is great, the beer and cocktails were delicious. Definitely a spot worth visiting.

Frank H.

Yelp
Great place to hang out for the day. Have a play area for the kids, allow dog, have food and last great beer.

Robert G.

Yelp
Really loved this place had a great vibe, they must have had 50 beers on tap! A beer lovers paradise. This is a I think they call it a gastro bar? Not sure. But they do brew their own, and I had a taste and I would tell you on a hot day like most lol. Off to the side they had a shack set up as order and pickup in one, saving a lot in labor. So they had burgers of all types and even impossible burgers for vegetarians. Kabob, chicken sandwiches a Ahi fish sandwich. Fries , tater tots and the most incredible Brussels sprouts, you definitely need to check out the sprouts. Great wood to eat when you're having a brewski . I hear on the weekends they have live music and that's a big bonus. Parking is fine. And it's a park like surrounding with kids play ground.

Jonathan B.

Yelp
It's been a few years and more than a few visits since my first review of Dirtbag's. They definitely deserve a full and detailed update. Note that I still only ever come here on Sundays, specifically targeting the farmer's market. That is with the exception of visiting for an evening dueling pianos show. They have built on, added, and expanded rapidly. Dirtbag's alone scratches an itch that in other larger NC cities is full of competition. They do it all. The yoga followed by a beer. Food trucks spanning a large variety of cuisines. The ever expanding Farmers market featuring both handmade and homegrown. Meats, cheeses, vegetables, mushrooms. There's even a guy selling ostrich meat. Goat's milk soap and hygiene products. Quirky quotes on t-shirts, mugs, stickers, and more. Baked goods of all kinds. Wood working items like cutting boards. Hummus. Coffee. Even a non-profit second-hand store helping women. They built an entire second building which houses a cocktail and spirits bar. There you can get a damn good whiskey drink, among others. Outside, you can complement your whiskey with a cigar from their new cigar trailer. Along with their growth, the parking lot has extended into practical infinity, so it's a good idea to get here early. For my part, I'd like to get out here for the yoga sesh and to find out if they have a run club (not likely, considering the somewhat rural location). And I imagine there are other fun events for weeknight visits. All in all, such a fun place that I'm glad we have in The Ville.

Yelp
Love the social environment for humans and dogs! Food trucks and beer= good time It's a good place to hang out with friends and family

Yelp
Very nice campus! They have the brewery building, a cocktail building, a covered tap section outside, 2 covered sitting areas, a little restaurant, a food truck parking area, and plenty of open space for dogs/kids. They are dog friendly. Lots of beer options available, and the taps rotate regularly. Service was very friendly and knowledgeable when we said what we liked, and what they had available. They have crowlers and cans to go. Paying cash will get you a little discount, and they have an ATM on site.

Thomas J.

Yelp
Great burgers. Love the Brussels spouts. Beer was delicious. I got the Spitfire. It's a cinnamon ginger beer. Was refreshing and warming. Very laid back place and fenced in dog park. Friendly staff.

Annamaria B.

Yelp
This place was such a pleasant surprise. We were looking for a new place to check out on our way back to SC and this was conveniently located just off of our route. We thought we were just checking out a brewery, but we lucked out and not only picked an awesome one, but so much more. There were a few food trucks and a market going on. I loved that it was dog friendly. The beers were good, nice selection. The staff were friendly and offered great suggestions. I would definitely frequent this one if we lived closer but will definitely be back next time in the area.

Yelp
Fun place in Fayetteville. Lucky enough to go here Saturday with my partner and it was a sunshine-y day and great outing! This place is huge and family friendly. Take everyone. Meet everyone. Something for all! It was sunny and we took advantage and sat in the shine. they also have a covered space if you need it. They have a lot of food trucks and bands on the weekend but only food trucks this past sat. There's a stage for events so we will definitely be back. The dog park is friendly and decent sized. People were polite and keep it clean. The pup loved it! Lots of room to run and fresh water. The service for drinks was fast. The lychee seltzer was ok but I heard the flavors rotate so I'd like to come back again and try a different one. They also have wine and a ton of beers. Tiny vent- I hate that giant stamp they do on you. Just Id me each time please. Eeeek. They have cornhole and we found a couple to play with. Two sets were out and the wait wasn't too bad. Fun. I appreciate a brewery with activities. There was also a birthday going on. Love this community feel.

Sarah B.

Yelp
Perfect place to have your kids, drink a beer, and catch up with friends. Plenty of seating and it's delicious!

Morgan C.

Yelp
Fun spot we came for trivia! We didn't order food but fiancé said the beer was good. Longs lines but they turn them over quick. Would come back for some of their other events!

Phil C.

Yelp
I always seem to judge a place based on expectations so after following rave reviews to closed-up former hot spots ... I wasn't expecting much off the Hope Mill exit on to Chickenfoot Rd. The "lunch" hit was on a little walk-up called Napkin, so when we pulled into a warehouse parking lot filled with cars and people (this was a sunny day after Thanksgiving) ... and a special row for bikers ... I started to look for the exit. But, my wife was really hungry. Glad she was, for we had accidentally found a beer hall in the middle of tobacco and cotton. And what a find. DIRTBAG Sadly, we were traveling so only got a chance to sample one IPA ... only known now as #6 on the board of a dozen and a half that surely change over the year. And yes, I drank it while waiting for our food order over at Napkins. It was awesome. I was expecting nothing and found awesomeness... go figure.

John S.

Yelp
This was our second visit to Dirtbag Ales and our first time eating food from Napkins. Both visits to Dirtbags were very enjoyable and the entertainment was outstanding. Food from Napkins was pretty good for bar style food. The highlight on the food side was the Brussels Sprouts. They were the best I've had. Will definitely go again.

Alexandra H.

Yelp
We stopped while on a long drive and enjoyed lunch on the spacious patio. It was an awesome vibe and a great find in a sea of fast food options. While I didn't have a beer, I'm here to give 5 stars for having a changing table in the men's restroom, something that I've found to be too rare. THANK YOU for the inclusivity!

Monica L.

Yelp
Best stop off I-95!!! They had excellent beer choices. We ended up with their IPA. It was delicious- well balanced and smooth! What I loved about this place was how large it was. They had a space for everyone, including dogs and children! There's a dog park and a playground!! They also have a restaurant on site which paired perfectly with the beer they offer!! Definitely a must stop on your road trip!

Kevin A.

Yelp
This is a great destination brewery, I brought our Arizona family members who were excited to visit this business. They were totally impressed, a great twenty selections of brewed goods, fast service, knowledgeable server's and great outside area. They taken lots of pictures and let their friends in Arizona know when visiting NC to make Dirtbag a must stop! When in the Hope Mills area you have to stop in, there is a kids space, dog park, walking trail and live entertainment as well as local food trucks and Vet owned Napkins eatery. Cheers!

Jonathan L.

Yelp
Amazing atmosphere! They have a playground for the kids to play with so they can climb and swing and get their energy out. They have a good selection of beer with their menu - they're also on the Untappd app. I was able to try multiple beers to figure out which one I liked. They have a really good selection ranging from really late to really dark beer. Perfectly located right off of the I 95 exit

Yelp
100 outta 100! Napkins is the food stop there. They offer a variety bar food & its well cooked. My fam went during the day - so it wasnt busy. I'm sure they get busy so - be polite & keep your cool! ... Beer flights are a MUST!! we got two (8 samples) & picked our faves. Nice place inside & out. Go during specials & you wont be disappointed!! -Great exp!

Janet C.

Yelp
Excellent beers! There are many beers available plus septet and sangria, We went mid-week for lunch, so there were not many people there. The place is expansive, can image it getting quite busy during the weekends.

Sky T.

Yelp
This is such a community asset! A very spacious brewery that also hosts a farmer's market on Sundays from 10 am to 2 pm. Absolutely worth taking a drive to visit because the variety of vendors from local produce and crafts to food trucks and other goodies. I ended up getting some cards for the holiday season and boiled peanuts for snacking on my first trip here. There's over 20 beers on tap and the beer itself is on point. My favorites are the Heroes Homecoming Pilsner and the Cold Brew Mocha Porter. The pilsner is super smooth and easy to drink and the porter is a bold and deep beer. They also have some of their brews available as to-go only. Service is great, friendly, and quick. Definitely a gem of a place worth adding to your weekend trip plans!

Jacqueline F.

Yelp
Was on a road trip and googled "kid friendly places in Fayetteville" and this place popped up. The beer and service were great, and the playground was a hit with my daughter. It's a huge area and there is also a dog park. I highly recommend it!

Felipe S.

Yelp
Dirt bags is a nice place to have a couple drinks, chat with homies, and just enjoy a evening out. 'The IPA' is one of my favorites and the sour IPA ( don't recall the name) was great too. They have a great selection of beers. Chicken wings and the fries from napkins are on point. And coming from the Cali the tacos from "TACO LAND" were pretty dam bueno!! They also hold special events...trivia nights, and farmers markets.

Jake W.

Yelp
Casual spot to stop on I95. kids get to run, dogs play as well, with food and drinks for all. Very simple and spacious enough for everyone to find a spot.

Gise G.

Yelp
Love there food, & the Open atmósfera . Is one of my Favorite places to eat and hung out, lone or with the family & friends

Kendoll C.

Yelp
While on a long road trip, we were looking for a pit stop, and opted for Dirtbag Ales based on their expansive tap list. A very very spacious brewery, it was a very pleasant surprise to walk around the back of the building and discover the expansive community hub. Alongside the general tap house barn, they offered a variety of food vendors (including food trucks and local produce carts), a cocktail bar area, a playground, outdoor and indoor picnic areas, and a vast open field for kids to play. They also had music playing throughout the area creating a great ambiance. The lines were long, but service was quick and friendly. The bartenders were nice to let us try samples before committing. I opted for the Black IPA & my hubby the Hazy IPA- to be honest the beers didn't super wow us- the were maybe 3 out of 5 stars flavor-profile-wise, but the overall experience was really nice. A gem to visit, worth adding to a road trip.

Ann F.

Yelp
Love the beers, the large open space, and the food at Napkins. We try to always stop on our way to or from the SC beaches. It never disappoints.

Nicole S.

Yelp
I absolutely loved this place. It is perfect for families and a fun weekend hangout spot. We went during their German Christmas market and it was huge. Tons of food options and vendors. However for the place itself, it has indoor and outdoor seating with a playground outside. Once again perfect for families or those bringing pups. We also tried a few different beers fest bier, blood orange Kolsh, and a sour and loved them all. My only complaint was the fact they did not have many bathroom stalls inside but that is it!

Jason N.

Yelp
This is a great NC microbrew! They have a great variety of east and west coast IPAs, stouts, and ales. For us this is the trifecta - great food, great beer, great setting. My favorite beers were the -- It's Juicy, Bruh; The IPA; and Peachy Mosaic; Blood Orange Kolsch. IF YOU HAVE KIDS OR DOGS THIS IS YOUR SPOT. There is an enclosed dog park, big play ground, and often live music. I think this and the adjacent restaurant are both Veteran owned - which is cool too. We stopped with our Airstream and they offered us a great spot near the woods to dry camp with them as a Harvest Host. Drink beer and then walk to your bed? Yes, please!

Mike M.

Yelp
The whole atmosphere is great! Live music, great food selections through the food trucks. Excellent beer selections and the farmers market rotates well each week

Angela A.

Yelp
This place is wicked awesome! There is nothing better than being outside on a beautiful sunny day, surrounded by music, yummy food, beer, happy people and dogs! All of which exist here. I love the farmer's market, the food trucks, the open spaces to relax...it's a wonderful respite from the busyness of the week. Their website and Facebook page are current, you can check out their calendar of events, which beers are on tap, etc. I say, take an afternoon and go explore, you won't be disappointed and you'll probably meet some new friends. I highly recommend Napkins, they have delicious burgers and perfectly prepared sides. I mean, rarely do I see this level of crispiness paired with the right amount of seasoning. Get the tots, get the fries and try their Blood Orange Kölsch or Cold-Brew Mocha Porter.

Alexis B.

Yelp
Definitely worth checking out! Hubs & I aren't very social but love the atmosphere here! You've gotta get Napkins when you go too! Their food is AMAZING & everyone is so nice!

Los L.

Yelp
Always have a good time here except for today only because I literally watched the 2 girls in front of me pay 12$ for 2 drinks at the dirt whiskey section, so we purchased the same drinks because theirs looked good but for some reason they charged me $25 for the same drinks -____- and after tip it was 30$, if I wasn't paying attention I would've never knew but I'm glad I did because now I know they over charged me for no reason :/ I will be back but I WILL NOT go to that bartender again :/

Lindsey S.

Yelp
Nothing but good things to say about Dirt Bags! When the weather is nice, the ambiance outside is perfect in the evenings. Especially when they have their lights on and live music. The service is fantastic, everyone is polite! And the beer options are always fun and plentiful! There are food trucks available when you get the post beer munchies too. Always a good time overall. Pup friendly too!

Margi K.

Yelp
Absolutely love this place. We have been coming here since it opened, and have never had a negative experience. The staff is awesome, the farmers market is fun, and the special events like the Christmas Market are a great excuse to come out and mingle and have some great brews, from some great people.

Alfredo C.

Yelp
Went there for the first time at night and not going to lie, it was a little interesting. The mosquitoes were ferocious. Ordered three beers for $16.00; no problem. However, small portions. I wanna say that they were 8oz. I ordered an IPA, not impressed and my buddy ordered a stout, not impressed either. I ordered the cider for my wife, that was very good. Coming from California, not impressed with the place. Will have to return during the day to make a better assessment.

M M.

Yelp
I only tried one beer here, but I'm glad I did. Tropical Hazy IPA was a tasty, hazy New England style treat-surprisingly balanced and full of flavor. It's rare to find this quality NEIPA so far from New England (I'm from the Hudson Valley). If that's your style of choice, give this one a try.

Alisha N.

Yelp
Stopped by here for lunch on our road trip. The food was delicious and they have a great mix of beers. We each got a flight and the brewmosia was our favorite so we got a growler to take home. There is plenty of outdoor seating with covers to protect you from the sun (or rain). It is conveniently located right off of 95 so if you want a place to stretch your legs on a road trip, I would highly recommend this place.

Michael O.

Yelp
Excellent Excellent beer (IPA and Oktoberfest) Excellent food Excellent atmosphere Wish we'd found this before We'll be back Nuff said

Sookia S.

Yelp
I was here for a special event (Drag Bingo). The venue is very clean and they had a wide selection of beers, but also had cider on tap and soft drinks. I love the outside music area and the food trucks. The bartenders were helpful in making a selection. I really loved the artwork that was up. Overall, a beautiful place and I would definitely go back.

Nancy T.

Yelp
I really like the new and very much improved location.. And they are friendly and welcoming to all, including dogs. Lots of choices.

Peter G.

Yelp
I don't know if you guys were the host of the German Christmas Market 12/15/18, but that was horrible. The location was bad, the parking and crossing over Legion road was dangerous, walking through water and mud unpleasent, there was no direction of the crowd which made it difficult to maneuver through the market. From what I did see there was nothing really German, maybe the food was, couldn't tell you because we could not get there. I would suggest that if you do this next year, change locations maybe a gym or other large indoor venue, with the number of people we saw maybe the Crown Auditorium and staffing to direct patrons.

Meredith S.

Yelp
LOVE THIS PLACE! Family and dog friendly. Food trucks, beer, and a park. Farmer's market every Sunday from 10am-2pm

Dennis C.

Yelp
The beer is excellent. Food was on point. All of the staff are very friendly and courteous. It's a great break from 95. Right off the exit. Very dog friendly.

Garrett B.

Yelp
Beer, atmosphere, food all outstanding. The Brussel sprouts and Nashville hot chicken sandwich was amazing, just enough kick to keep you going back for another bite. I would 100 percent come back and recommend this brewery/taproom to anyone in the area.

Patrice Z.

Yelp
Pretty chill place off the highway in Hope Mills. There is also another beverage location next door for cocktails. Very easy to find nestled among the pines, you can see it from the Highway. Plenty of parking. The main building is huge with easy to find clean bathrooms. There was special parking for motorcycles. Do note that no one was wearing a mask- Fayetteville no longer requires wearing them indoors. There was a kids's birthday party while I was there. High top tables inside. Loved the beer selection- I got a sour. Most of the beer is very decent. Very dog friendly outside. There is an outdoor patio plus a patio with a plastic cover and heat lamps- dogs allowed here. Adjacent to the main building is a food hall where you walk up to the window to order. There was also a food truck between the main building and the next door cocktail building. Locals absolutely love this place- I hear about it often. Very chill and a lot of festivals going on in warmer months.
