The food is very good too! Loving the sandwiches! Texas Hot Chicken Sandwich, Turkey Avocado Sandwich and the Chicken Salad Sandwich!!! Love the Tomato Basil Bisque! Ok... now the PIES!!!!! Love the Coconut Cream Pie Slice and the Big Texas Bourbon Pecan Pie Slice. $5.00 during Happy Hour! Can't wait to go back!

The Breakfast Skillet was good. The eggs were cooked well without being too runny. Couldn’t resist eggs, sausage, potatoes, jalapeños and gravy. The salads and breakfast items in the group looked great. Next time I’m getting the Super Salad, with shredded kale, shaved brussels sprouts, citrus quinoa, arugula, parmesan, dried cherries, golden raisins, shaved almonds, radish, sweet honey vinaigrette. It looked delicious. I met family on a Saturday for brunch. Several parties arrived at different times. Part of the reason I gave it 5 stars is the business set up for flow and staff attentiveness. We were all able to walk in and order at the counter pretty quick. Then, had a group of tables outside that were already set up for a large party. Plenty of room between outside and inside seating too. Plus, there was a nice breeze through the buildings. Anyway, the gem was quick service and seating in a busy world of Austin brunches. Especially with a large group.

This is one of the best meals I've had in this city. Came in here for a Saturday brunch with my sister and was seriously impressed by everything--the service, the atmosphere and of course the food! Dish Society sources (from what I can tell, everything) from local vendors. The last restaurant I went to with the same philosophy was in Los Angeles--and it was also one of the greatest meals I'd ever had. High quality, fresh, hearty and relatively health-conscious food. We both got hashes, a biscuit, and a "power pancake". The biscuit had an amazing flaky texture and saltiness, and the hashes were full of flavor and depth. The power pancake was really something to behold though; I was astonished by the fluffiness and height they were able to accomplish with a gluten-free pancake. The atmosphere is what you would expect for a trendy spot, and pretty nice for brunch with all the natural light. The price is steep, but the quality of the food really speaks for itself. Take that how you will!

Absolutely loved our experience at Dish Society! the staff was so friendly and welcoming. Kailey was fantastic — she checked in with us multiple times to make sure we were enjoying our meal, and even went above and beyond when she overheard my mom mentioning she forgot to ask for her bread to not be toasted. Kailey took care of it right away. We also tried the beignets, and they were amazing! So good, in fact, that we had to order more to go. I will be back and I hope Kailey is working!

The beignets were absolutely delicious and the anglaise it came with really sealed the deal. The pesto chicken sandwich was also delicious, very tasty. The avocado toast however was kinda bland. I think a light drizzle of honey would have really elevated the taste. I drizzled a bit of the anglaise the beignets came with and it made it taste a lot better. The atmosphere was very nice and everyone was so pleasant. It was also really clean inside. Overall good experience. Edit: The last few times I’ve been here, the beignets have not been great. Almost like they were refried in old oil or something

This is the perfect spot for good food or a day out! The outdoor area is amazing for a rainy day. It’s completely covered so you stay dry watching the rain. The food is incredible! The hash is the best I’ve had in Austin, packed with flavor and tender meat. The grits were creamy with a nice garlicky kick, and the shrimp charred just right. Their matcha is surprisingly amazing. I think they recently switched to a higher quality one. Honestly, they’re the only place I trust for consistently great matcha. But if you’re not a matcha person, they also have coffees and lemonades that come in super fun combos and equally delicious.

This place is incredible!!! The food was amazing. I ordered the chicken and biscuits and my friend ordered the Candied Pecan Pancakes with fried chicken and both of them were phenomenal!! The flavor was so on point and so beyond your basic brunch dishes. We also tried the grits as a side dish and the beignets for a sweet treat after our meals and we were amazed by both. Everyone here was so nice, you can tell it is well managed and the people who work there love their jobs! Ran was our server and he truly made the whole experience so much fun. He had great recommendations on the menu, checked on us regularly and had great conversation. This place really goes above and beyond to create their dishes and provide a 5 star experience. I would highly recommend this to anyone and I will definitely be returning!

Yelp
Had such a delicious Breakfast here! I had a bite of all four of the dishes my group ordered and they were all great! I really liked my smoked salmon avocado toast. The ranch eggs were my next favorite. I like the counter service model here a lot. Makes it a simpler experience which I think is very nice with how crowded breakfast and brunch can get. The restaurant was very clean and aesthetically pleasing. I had a nice time here. No complaints

Yelp
2/5 Stars If you enjoy mediocre, lukewarm dishes, you should apply to join Dish Society in Austin. To start, the coffee was self-serve, which I don't mind, but it was lukewarm. Why? Did someone burn themselves, so now they're trying to protect us from that unfortunate fate? Sadly, the disappointment continued from there. I ordered the pancake with the hot fried chicken on the side, but neither the pancake nor the chicken was hot--neither in temperature nor in spice. The fried chicken tasted like processed chicken fingers, and it looked like it had been through an Ozempic diet--dry and lacking any real crispy texture or flavor. The avocado bowl was another letdown. It was loaded with so many tortilla strips that it felt like I was eating a bag of chips, and there was a suspiciously large amount of beans--basically a can's worth. It was more like a mishmash of ingredients than a thoughtfully portioned dish. The ambiance ... a more gentrified Panera bread. Overall, the meal felt disappointing and lacked any real flavor or care in preparation. With so many better options in Austin, I don't think I'll be coming back anytime soon.

Yelp
Fresh generous portions in a casual spacious room with a nice outside seating area. Did i mention casual? You stand in line and order at a counter. You get a number and the food is brought to your table. The menu is pretty extensive so it's great for diverse parties. Lots of sides. Lots of vegetarian options. Not cheap but seems reasonable for the Mueller area. Having been twice I'll probably be going back in the not so distant future.

Yelp
Yum! Pretty solid but generic brunch spot. Nothing too fancy and it's a bit pricier than a more traditional brunch spot. I did like the location and environment, and the workers are friendly. It's casual and wasn't too busy on a Sunday around noon. I recommend!

Yelp
Dish Society does a few things right which include the roomy interior with exterior seating and the relaxing counter-service which always draws me to restaurants. However, most of the food looks better than it tastes and doesn't command the price tag of most of the items. Truffle mac n cheese is pretty heavy on the truffle flavor, as most truffle dishes tend to be. There isn't much to say here other than I would recommend this item to truffle lovers. BBQ Brisket Sandwich was a bit lackluster in flavor. I didn't notice any of the jalapenos I had added, but this sandwich would have benefitted from an option to add a tiny bit of sauce. There was a decent amount of brisket on this sandwich which was a major plus for this $17 sandwich. Otherwise, it was a step above that cubed brisket you often see at restaurants. Avocado Toast - My absolute favorite when it is done properly. I was raving about my experience in Houston but this location had a small sprinkling of bagel seasoning, compared to the much more generous amounts I am used to, and had ZERO discernable lemon zest, which I believe is necessary in completing this dish and elevating it so much. There also wasn't a lot of sprouts but that's not too important to the flavor here. This was a dish I was craving badly since my last trip to Dish Society, but I am unfortunately still craving it. Chicken Salad Sandwich AND chips - it's the chicken salad that you know and love - always simple and delicious. The chips, however, were the star of this rodeo. I saw dark chips and thought the chips may have been overcooked or something. Nope, these chips were fried perfectly without being overly greasy. They were so thin and perfectly crispy - NOT overly crunchy like a lot of house chips tend to be. I know I sound silly bragging about these chips but dang they are good. Tomatillo Chicken Tacos - Looks good, right? Taste just was not there for me. Granted, this is Texas and I've had a LOT of great tacos, this was not one. The tortilla tasted like they slapped down some tortillas from a package without even heating them up. The cilantro lime rice is an interesting choice for a side - it was a nice filler but it amounted to just eating plain rice in execution. Overall, it seems like most of the food here is subpar with a few amazing exceptions which can even be inconsistent like the avocado toast. It's a cool place and I'll still drop by this location or the S. 1st location when it opens.

Yelp
Absolutely loved breakfast at Dish Society in Austin! This place brings a unique, local twist to classic breakfast dishes, and you can taste the freshness in every bite. I tried the Brisket n' Eggs, and it was outstanding--tender, flavorful brisket paired perfectly with fluffy eggs. The Nutella French Toast was a treat, too, and just the right balance of sweetness without being too heavy. The staff is great as well! The atmosphere is fantastic, with indoor and outdoor seating that's comfortable and inviting. Plus, knowing that they source ingredients from local farms just adds to the experience. Highly recommend starting your morning here if you're in Austin!"

Yelp
Back here again and it was once again such a great time. The food was delish and the staff super friendly. Bathrooms were clean and friends and I sat outside this time which was lovely as it was a gorgeous day. It was a busy lunch rush so food took a bit longer than last time I came but still a pleasant experience:)

Yelp
Today we went to the Mueller Fall Festival, which was a ton of fun. At the Festival, Dish Society sold these tasty turkey sliders on a brioche bun with fresh kettle cooked chips for only $3! So when we left the festival we decided to grab a sit-down meal there at Dish. Sonia T. helped us navigate the menu, and at first told us they were still on the brunch menu and would not be able to serve us what we originally wanted. Instead of leaving it at that she told us to hold on while she checked with the kitchen. I am so glad that she took the time to check! We ordered the Citrus Salmon, with their truffle Mac and bacon Brussels sprouts, the Crispy Chicken Kale Cesar Salad, the fancy flight, and glass of Pinot. Again, Sonia patiently went over all the types of mimosas available, and did not seem irritated in the slightest bit when my partner ordered her four mimosas, changed one, then another, then another. The food was incredible! The salmon had a perfect crust to it while still being cooked at medium rare. And that citrus glaze! Perfection. The truffle Mac noodle is not your traditional elbow. It had this extra bit of pasta, kind of like a Mohawk, running along the outer edge. This increased the surface area, so there was more sauce per bite. Brussels were delicious; would have preferred them to be a lil crispy though. Salad was top notch, and a great portion for the cost. And the fancy mimosa flight was worth the extra $4. I wish I wrote down all that I had! Looking forward to going back and exploring more of the menu.

Yelp
Dish Society in East Austin is a fantastic brunch spot! I ordered the Hot Chicken Sandwich, my wife had the Super Salad, and our son enjoyed the Nutella French Toast Bites. Everything was perfect--the chicken was juicy and flavorful, the salad was fresh and delicious, and the French toast bites were a hit with our son. The staff was very friendly, and the vibe was casual and welcoming. Despite being a busy Sunday, we easily got a table, making the experience even more enjoyable. Great food, great service--definitely a brunch spot we'll visit again. Highly recommended!

Yelp
Dish Society remains one of my favorite restaurants in Austin! This year I met some girlfriends there for my birthday brunch. I remembered them giving a birthday treat last year, but I didn't see it on my Thanx app that they use for rewards. They gave me the reward anyways, which turned out to be a free entree! I got the Brisket and Eggs as usual, plus a cookie. Neither were quite as good as I remembered, but still good. We went on Sunday, so parking was free, but I was glad to notice they validate parking at two nearby garages. I included the photo of the sign explaining those details. We were indecisive whether we should sit inside or outside, but after sitting outside a few minutes, we decided we needed to be inside, since their outdoor area is basically a wind tunnel, and a table big enough for us opened up inside just in time. Dish society is a reliable, casual, healthful place to go out for a meal with friends!

Yelp
I love healthy, casual restaurants, and it often feels like there aren't enough of them. As a Houston transplant, Dish Society checked all the boxes offering good food and drink options at a reasonable price. The first thing I noticed was how bright and airy the restaurant is, which I always appreciate. It wasn't busy when I dined on a Friday evening, and there was plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. You order at the counter, and they bring the food out once it's ready. I opted for the Texas Hot Chicken Sandwich, while my date had the Salmon Poke Bowl. I paired my sandwich with the Lavender Blush cocktail, which was refreshing and helped balance the heat from the chicken. The menu also offers a great selection of sandwiches, salads, tacos, soups, and weekend brunch options. I'll definitely be coming back to take advantage of their social hour specials!

Yelp
I met a friend for breakfast this week at Dish Society. I had never been before, so I was excited to try it! There was plenty of free street parking available (free before 10am) so I ended up parking right in front of the restaurant. You order at the register inside and then the food is brought to your table. My friend and I each ordered the latte with honey and the breakfast skillet. Both came out pretty fast, but it was also 8am and we were the only ones there. The breakfast skillet was surprisingly big and very filling, and delicious!! So much flavor to it. I was happily surprised! I definitely want to come back for lunch or dinner, which I've heard are tasty here. Also, side-note: the inside of the place is really well decorated. Lots of live plants! EDIT: I came back for dinner some time later, and I definitely like the breakfast better. It's still good, with lots of options on the menu, but I found my dish a bit bland, nothing special to it. I ordered the Texas pecan pesto pasta (I love a bucatini dish, so it's always a go-to), as well as the Passiflora I Adora cocktail, and neither met my expectations. The pasta was bland (not bad, but not great), and the cocktail was very watery/watered down. I will still happily come here for breakfast/brunch, as I still think that these are both great, but I will pass on dinner.

Yelp
I love coming to Dish Society for their seasonal grain bowl and the occasional breakfast/mimosas! I also really like their kale and mushroom. Overall would recommend this place for a more casual but sit-down spot if you are in the Mueller area and not looking to shell out too much!

Yelp
First I would like to clarify that I give this place 4.5 stars. The inside is modern with high ceilings and very clean. You order up front and then sit down which I actually like a lot. The fried chicken sandwich was good. There was a certain fat that one of the staff told me they use on it and apparently you can get it with or without. If I were to order again I would get it without because it was my only quarrel with the sandwich; just had a very weird and strong odor and flavor I could have done without. Despite this, the sandwich was delicious and oh man the chips that come on the side are SO GOOD. My girlfriend got the chicken pesto sandwich and that one was incredible. I would definitely get that next time time. Iced chai was average and my girlfriends latte was ok. Overall the quality, taste and portion of the food here accompanied by an affordable price tag makes it deserving of almost 5 stars. Certainly want to come back here.

Yelp
Sooooo 2 visits within 1 week! And its 35 minutes away from my house! But listen the service and food is entirely worthy! Shrimp and grits are phenomenal probably the best here in ATX the added egg was a plus! Only thing is they should add more grits. Their pancakes are huge fresh and taste homemade with the crunchy edges. Each and every drink was strong, not watered down and the peach soda was even good! The inside ambiance is ok but I rather sit outside with the nice weather and people watch. They definitely need a north location ASAP...it's a gem!
google avatar

Abida H.

Yelp
Great casual spot for brunch with a menu for everyone! You order at a counter then look for a table. The menu has a variety of options, both healthy and not-so-healthy choices . It's a great spot where you know everyone will find something on the menu they like. I got the southwest scramble and it was great. Nice mix of flavors and the potatoes were fantastic! Portion size is large and filling. Ambiance is cute with a lot of natural light and plants. You can park in the garage that's caddy corner to Dish Society and they will validate. I also love the location in mueller, it's perfect for a walk to the lake after.
google avatar

Hannah K.

Yelp
I'm highly skeptical and suspicious of anyone who doesn't like this place. You've got a bright, airy, spacious interior, super fresh and healthy yet comforting New American and Tex-Mex fare, and kind, attentive, helpful staff. Get there early and you'll even have free street parking before 10am. Best bets for vegan meals are: -Quinoa stuffed avocados -Grain bowl without cheese -Veggie tacos without cheese -Superfood salad -Gluten-free pancakes When in doubt, ask! Everyone seems well educated about the menu and is happy to help adapt dishes as needed.

Yelp
Dish Society is a solid, casual brunch addition to the Mueller area. It has a trendy atmosphere with counter service ordering--which is unique for a brunch establishment. There is often a bit of a line to order, but i've never had to wait for a table. We've gotten the TX Hot Chicken Sandwich, Breakfast Skillet, Chicken and Biscuits, and the Prickly Pear Fancy-mosa. Portions are plentiful; you're probably either gonna have leftovers or feel stuffed and then food coma...but not in a bad way lol. The thing they do really well here are the potatoes. The skillet potatoes and the fries are both wonderful. Skillet potatoes are nice and crisp and seasoned very well. The fries are battered and have a fabulous crunch. Prices are not bad for Austin brunching, and they have some healthier options too.

Yelp
We arrived around 10:40 am and to our surprise there was no wait and plenty of open seating. We sat on the patio since it was a cool morning. I ordered the chicken and biscuits with a hot honey latte. I also paid the up charge to make it spicy and I have no regrets. The chicken was cooked to perfection and the biscuits were delicious. Now my latte was so good I almost ordered another one. If you're in the Mueller area go check them out I will be back to try something else.

Yelp
This walkable, healthy, brunch forward Mueller restaurant is a great addition to the area! We went for dinner and got a salad, chicken burger, and a single GF pancake to try it out. The Garden Salad had great contents and toppings, but could have used a bit more of the salad dressing. I enjoyed the roasted chickpeas on top! The Houston Hot Chicken sandwich got good reviews from my partner. We really liked the pickled onions! The GF single pancake is something to write home about!! It was light and fluffy and had some fun quinoa bits in it! I will definitely be back to try their brunch! The indoor area is nicely decorated, and there are about 8 outdoor patio tables as well. It looks like they have great happy hours and great brunch dishes and drinks. I am excited to go back for breakfast sometime!

Yelp
The kids and I stopped here for lunch after the eight-year-old's haircut appointment. Very cool spot. You grab a menu, order at the counter, and then find seats. We dropped in around 1pm on a Saturday. There were people there, but things moved quickly in terms of ordering and finding seats. Customer service was good. When our food arrived, it was hot and full of flavor. The burger and fries was delicious as was the biscuits and gravy. The Nashville hot chicken sandwich is not for the faint of heart as it was very spicy. We took dessert home and their chocolate chip cookies made with brown butter are absolutely some of the best cookies I have ever tasted.
google avatar

Kia L.

Yelp
I've been wanting to try Dish Society for a while after a friend recommended it. It's counter service so you pay and then find your seats, thankfully the place was nearly empty so we had plenty of seat options both indoor and outdoor. Let's start with the good first-- the place is modern, clean and one notch up from a fast food restaurant. I ordered a strawberry margarita mocktail and the super salad. The super salad was a generous portion for the price ($14) and needs to be so with Sweet greens as competition next door. The salad was tangy and sweet and I loved the veggies used. There's a variety of healthy food items on the menus to choose from and I believe breakfast food items are available all day! I ordered a non alcoholic drink and the person at the register charged me cocktail price which was annoying. She then snatched the drink away without waiting for me to respond for the trouble and since I paid for a cocktail I would have just kept it. Thankfully the manager fixed it before we left. This place does not accept cash which is odd for counter service. I would dine her again and expect better service and attention to detail.

Sara S.

Yelp
Oh my goodness, this was one of the worst meals we've had in Austin - EVER. I'm still just amazed that food can be so bland. We went for brunch and my french toast, despite having nutella and fruit was so so tasteless. The fried chicken with gravy that my partner got was super salty to the point of not really being edible, and the chicken without the gross gravy was bland. So many better places to eat - right across the way, in fact, Coleen's Kitchen has tasty excellent food.
google avatar

Lauren E.

Yelp
I recently got to come back to Dish Society and try the pancakes again, and they're sooooo much better than the first time! Now they're perfectly fluffy, not too sweet, and don't have a strange aftertaste. You can order either a side of pancakes (just 1) or a stack (2 pancakes) so make sure to specify what quantity you want when you order. I also got to try the Green Society green juice which was super refreshing, and I couldn't even taste the kale so I'd recommend it. I visited on a Friday afternoon and it was almost completely empty, so if you're looking to try the food without a wait definitely come on a weekday!
google avatar

Vivian F.

Yelp
Hits the spot every time. My favorite is when the deconstructed pot pie rotates back on the menu when it gets chilly - YUM. Prices are reasonable, seating is comfortable and service is friendly. Shrimp and grits are also a go-to. We enjoy the chicken salad sandwich as well. Parking can be validated with a QR code. Happy hour is a solid deal too. Highly recommend!
google avatar

Cindi G.

Yelp
For the location and space, this place is bomb. Casual, welcoming, clean, thoughtful layout and design. Menu is diverse, we had the sweet potato brisket (5 stars) and kids pasta (3 stars). They have 5-6 beers on tap, cocktail and mock tail options as well as a soda fountain with low sugar drinks and teas. Would not recommend for a formal date, but definitely come back for a casual meal!

Yelp
Beautiful interior with a very modern and minimalistic look. We originally planned to hit up Kerbey Lane for some classic breakfast but due to the UT graduation attending crowd the wait was going to be from 45 min - 1 hour so we chose to give Dish Society a long overdue shot! Ordering at the counter was very quick and easy. We grabbed a menu and sat at a booth while we perused the menu. As expected the portions were HUGE and worth the price. The orders came out pretty quickly and presentation was on point. Unfortunately the gravy for the chicken was more on the salty side so I had to take a point off for that. My first time having a beignet and it didn't disappoint either, very light and airy. We arrived at 10 AM and there were not too many people already inside the restaurant so if you come later you might get hit with a bit of a wait or it could be a UT graduation weekend specific wait.

Sara R.

Yelp
Really yummy breakfast and nice staff! The beignets were mouth watering, the OJ tasted fresh, etc. Would definitely be back
google avatar

Jenny L.

Yelp
There's plenty of seating at this restaurant and the food comes fairly quick after you order. Servers are extremely friendly and fast! You place your order at the counter and find your own seats. They'll give you a number to place it at your table, so they can easily bring you your food once it's ready. We ordered their burger and the turkey avocado sandwich. It was alright. Nothing much to write home about, but I wished they gave a bigger portion of fries. Their fries were probably the best part of the meal because it was fresh and crispy! I don't live in the area so this restaurant isn't a place that I'll go out of my way for, however I'm glad I've tried it so I can cross it off my list.

Yelp
I ordered through Door Dash a watermelon salad with extra goat cheese and an espresso martini. The staff initially forgot to include my salad with the order, and by the time my driver arrived with the salad, there was no goat cheese at all, the watermelon was not ripe, and the few leaves of arugula were limp and gross. My espresso martini arrived in a half filled cup likely without any vodka at all. Because of the confusion, this was a complete waste of time and money.

Yelp
When I found out Dish Society was coming to Austin, I was ecstatic! Dish Society's casual vibes fit perfectly with Austin's atmosphere. You place your order at the counter, are given a number, and your food and drinks are brought to your table. I first fell in love with their house favorite, Chicken & Biscuits (made spicy), in Houston, and after trying it in Austin, that love is still going strong. The buttermilk biscuits were fluffy and hot, the spicy fried chicken was perfectly moist, and the house gravy added just the right amount of savory heat. I ordered the Fancy-Mosa, which comes with bubbles and a boozy juice ($26 for a carafe). I opted for the prickly pear flavor. However, when our drink order arrived, it was a frozen. We didn't want to knock it until we tried it, but after the first sip, all we could taste was tequila--far from the expected bubbles and juice. It turns out they had brought us the Prickly Pear Frozen Margarita instead. When we explained the mix-up to our waitress, she seemed very confused. As a staff member, you should know the menu and not make your customers feel gaslit. While the restaurant itself is a great replica of the one in Houston, the service needs improvement.

Yelp
Stopped in for a lunch date on my Birthday a few weeks ago and overall had a good experience. The line wasn't crazy for being brunch on a Sunday, and I enjoyed the counter service model. They worked with navigating my gluten and dairy allergies, and I settled on getting a salad with chicken and bacon added. The salad was exceptionally tasty, but I did actually have a mild gluten allergy reaction from it which is unfortunate. I'd still recommend the place, but I wouldn't be able to come back most likely.

Yelp
I so wanted to like this establishment! The service was outstanding which should be a 5 star!! The girl at the counter was helpful and happy, she made it fun to be there. They came around and prebussed so no dirty dishes were on the table as we talked. The service was wonderful!!!! It is a bright open restaurant with all windows! Loved the location right next to the Thinkery and lake!! We were able to watch the geese stop traffic The food... I am so disappointed in the food. I had Ranch Eggs which came out not only cold but had that snotty layer of not cooked egg white. After scrapping the slimy membrane off I was hoping the rest would be better but it was mediocre. I ordered a pancake on the side, not sure what flour the use, maybe almond, but it was not fluffy but even slightly hard. My friend ordered the chicken biscuits. When she cut into it part of it flew across the table (that is a hard biscuit)! With all the other options I think I'll take my $34 and see what they have. The service y'all!! The people were terrific!!

Yelp
There is plenty of seating inside and outside. The outside is shaded and dog friendly. The service was nice and quick. We ordered the hot chicken sandwich with fries and the chicken and biscuits. The fries were a little salty but everything else was good and well balanced flavors.

Yelp
I'm going to boldly say this is my favorite spot in Austin. The location next to the children's museum is amazing. We've been plenty of times since and loved every dish we tried. The seasonal watermelon salad I had here is still in the back of my mind. You can taste the quality and freshness in every bite. The service is always phenomenal, we can't get enough of this place.

Yelp
Dish society was a perfect place for brunch in the Mueller Park. I love any place with rewards and freebies. Came here on two occasions (so you can assume my first experience was positive) and enjoyed everything we ordered as a collective. Great place if you and friends like a boozy brunch. The one downside is that you order first and then search for a table, so during busy hours you may be awkwardly loitering and looking for a table to shark. There is patio seating and I came on a few days where it was chilly outside but they have heaters, I am just not about that life. I'll definitely be back.

Yelp
I stopped here for a quick lunch because I was intrigued by their advertisement of a watermelon summer salad. The space is very cute and has plenty of seating and the servers were very nice. With that being said, I felt like the food was lacking. I added grilled chicken to my salad and the chicken was incredibly dry and didn't even seem to be very fresh ? For a farm to table restaurant this was surprising to me. The watermelon was really cold and a little mushy. Maybe there are other items on the menu that are better but I was disappointed.

Yelp
Dish Society, nestled in Austin's Mueller area, offers a tranquil dining experience, particularly appealing for a mid-afternoon meal. The ease of finding street parking and the straightforward ordering process--place your order at the counter, select your table, and await your food's delivery--contribute to a stress-free visit. The al fresco dining area provides a delightful setting, complete with ample umbrellas and comfortable seating, making it an ideal spot for enjoying a meal with your furry friend. Speaking of which, the staff's warm and welcoming demeanor extends to all guests, including your pup, who was greeted with treats upon arrival. Dish Society's patio area isn't just a picturesque setting for dining; it's also dog-friendly, welcoming your furry companion to join you for a meal. The Cobb salad was tasty, boasting fresh ingredients and flavorful dressing, and my latte was good too. However, the poke bowl left something to be desired, so I'd recommend exploring other menu options on your visit. I'll be trying brunch items and other popular dishes on future visit/s.

Yelp
Very quality brunch spot in Mueller! Checks all all the boxes to make Dish Society a great pick for a casual brunch location. Plenty of variety to satisfy whatever your br PreFood: Dish society features an every day brunch menu with brunch drinks, house cocktails, and espresso drinks. If you're visiting on a Sunday, be weary that the Mueller's Farmers market is close by so street parking may be limited. There are no reservations and it is a first come first serve, order at the counter establishment. Food : All the food we ordered was absolutely delicious. Very faily priced for the quality of the taste and the quantity of how much you get. The Southwest Scramble is massive and the Chicken and Biscuits are huge so definitely enough to take home some leftovers. The vanilla latte I had was also very tasty so 10/10 for all the variety of tastes. Vibe : The inside is very nicely decorated and for a 10:00am on a Sunday was not overly crowded. I'd say about 90% at capacity but we didn't have to wait on a table which was nice. You order at the counter so there is no one serving you, but there are plenty of employees walking around who are happy to help if needed. Everyone was very nice and accommodating. Restaurant was very clean and timely. Overall Dish Society was a very nice spot to try with great food and I will definitely be adding it to the Sunday brunch rotation!

Yelp
Dish Society is an excellent choice for a casual lunch or brunch. The friendly server/cashier offered helpful recommendations. After ordering and paying, you receive a number and can choose a seat inside or outside. The food and drinks were both great. With ample street parking available, it's a convenient spot for a tasty, easy lunch.

Yelp
So glad Dish Society opened in Mueller! This fits the need for casual, family-friendly, all-day dining. The restaurant does counter service and has ample indoor and outdoor seating. I was so impressed that while new, the staff have been trained well and gave detailed recommendations on menu items. Also, several people checked up on us while we were seated to see if we needed anything and if everything was to our liking. I'm really excited about the menu variety here - so many options from pasta, tacos, sandwiches, salads to all day brunch! I enjoyed the chicken tortilla soup as it is very veggie heavy and has fresh strips of tortilla chips. The truffle mac and cheese is rich and satisfying, I'd order it again. Dish Society will definitely be in my rotation!

Yelp
Tried to brunch there on Sunday but I just won't stand in lines that long. It was much more mellow this Thursday lunchtime. I am not a big fan of counter service at this price point--upwards of $16 per entree--especially with the screens that default you to at 20% tip, but that's the business model here. That said, the ambiance is very appealing, with lots of big windows and lots of seating inside and out. And the food was quite good. My companion, who rarely finishes a plate, scarfed down her Shrimp & Grits. Her only complaint was that she had to go stand in line and pay again (card only) when she wanted a second Margarita. I nearly always finish MY plate, but my hot chicken sandwich was so big, I just cut a hunk of chicken off, ate it, along with the tasty coleslaw and house-made chips, then took what was still a substantial sandwich home for dinner. So, a mixed review, with my main reservation being that, like my friend, I like to have table service when I eat out and plan to drop at least $20 for lunch.

Yelp
Omg! This is my new favorite brunch spot in Austin! The food was so good I forgot to take a picture of it before we ate it all, we got the chicken and biscuits (those were our favorite thing we got), the avocado toast, a buttermilk pancake, and the hot chicken sandwich, everything was so good! This isn't a traditional restaurant in the sense that there's no servers, you wait in line to order and then seat yourself with your order number on your table. Parking is in the parking garage or street parking, lots of shops to walk to! Service was quick, we didn't wait long for our food, you get your own drinks from a drink machine, so it was a quick place to grab some brunch.

Yelp
This is my first experience here at a suggestion from a co-worker. We went after work. They had a really great social hour with some decent discounts on house cocktails, wine and beer. The interior is bright and refreshing, very welcoming. Overall, the service is kind and friendly but very slow. A couple of items were missed when ordering so I'll note that that is hard to gauge timing. However the ones that were put in took a very long time so know what you went ahead of time, order it all at once because going back for more, there will be a delay. This is counter service so it doesn't really work with open tabs the way a table service restaurant would. The food itself was decent. I can't say that anything on the menu had me craving any more of it. The shrimp was a little off with an aftertaste. But the ideas behind most of the dishes were good. The appetizers, which they call snacks, were good the best being the pretzel and cheese dip but the entrees weren't my favorite. To be fair, they did seem to be training one to two new people and it was the middle of the week so I'm not opposed to trying it once again, but it's certainly not going to be at the top of my list. Worth a try here if you are in the Mueller area and want something quick. The cocktails were nicely made, they just took a very long time. What's key is when things were missed in the order or delayed, everyone was friendly and helpful.

Yelp
We visited Dish Society at Mueller for lunch. You order at the counter and they bring your food to you. They have ample indoor seating. I really liked the variety of food and the vegetarian options on their menu. We tried the fried Gouda and grits balls and I had the fried chicken kale salad. My husband had the hot chicken sandwich and said it was so good. He will be dreaming about it. The restaurant has a very nice clean atmosphere and I'm interested in trying more things on their menu. They also have a rewards program. I got a free brownie just for signing up and it was so good! It was chewy with chocolate chunks inside and little bit of salt on top, I definitely recommend it.

Yelp
Friendly counter service upon arrival. Order & they bring it to your table. Very bright & clean. I had a skillet-meats, potatoes, cheese, with 2 sunny side eggs on top. Yolk should be a condiment. Daughter had a Spicy chicken biscuit with gravy. Both had great flavor. Beignets came out 1st. Who can resist a hot fresh dessert. Start with dessert Will go back for sure.

Yelp
First time trying dish society was via pick up/to go order and I was so impressed, I wanted to come there in person to experience the dine in service. It's counter service so you place your order as soon as you walk in and they give you a number and you seat yourself. I really enjoyed their Caesar salad to go so I ordered it again as well as their shrimp and grits and a kid's chicken tender meal. Food was came out pretty fast and the servers are friendly. I noticed my salad didn't taste the same as the night before and was a bit confused as I kept eating it. I believe it was the owner/store manager walking around table to table asking if customers needed anything and if their food was alright/good. I ended up flagging him down to talk to him to ask about my salad and mentioned that it didn't taste the same as the night before. I had realized that when I placed my online order I did put a special note requesting for extra romaine lettuce and less kale but didn't request that in person. He told me that if I ordered it as is then it is actually mostly kale and slaw (which quite honestly was hard for me to eat) and he put in a new order for me without hesitation. I was super appreciative by this gesture since it was technically my fault I didn't remember to specifically request that in person but when the new salad came out, it looked and tasted exactly like the night before but even better because the chicken was hot and crispy. To be honest it's rare to come by an establishment and receive that kind of hospitality with such kindness. My to go order left such a great first impression and now with this first time indoor dinning experience, I'll definitely be a returning customer. Keep up with good work!

Yelp
We were visiting museums when we got hungry. We chose Dish Society. My wife and I ordered shrimp and grits ($18.75), fried smoked gouda grit balls (2 for $5.00), beignet bites ($7.00). The first to make it to the table was desert. The beignet bites had a side of honey butter (I believe that is what it was). While hot, they were quite good. I ate a couple, knowing they would be cold before the food was finished. The gouda grit balls looked great. The taste was more subtle than I would have liked, but it was still good. When the grits arrived, they were nicely presented on the plate, but the taste was heavy. Any grit afficionado understands what I mean. Within a few minutes, the manager came by. He asked if he could change out our plate. He had noticed that our grits did not look as fluffy as they should. Relieved, I said that would be wonderful. Soon enough, he came back with a new plate. This time, the grits were noticeably more fluffy. They had a wonderful taste. The shrimp were tender, and the sauce was tasty. I thanked the manager and told him the new plate was much better and that I appreciated his looking out for his customers. All on all, it was a good dining experience. The manager played a large role in that. I will be happy to try other items on the menu in the future.

Yelp
Our food was very good and fresh! The service was friendly and the vibes of the restaurant were nice. We enjoyed brunch and will return.
