Guy Fieri Has No Patience for Boring Airplane Food | Eater

"On a four-day Disney cruise the dining felt overly fussy but not bad: our waiter had a heavy Italian accent yet was from Serbia and proudly presented an antipasti cart — slices of prosciutto, chunks of Parmigiano-Reggiano, marinated peppers — which he then, without asking, doused with aged balsamic; the food wasn't bad (a Tuscan bean soup was particularly tasty) and service was extremely friendly, "Italian-ish." - Chris Fuhrmeister

Terrible parking for disabled people, way overpriced. No disabled veteran discount as required by state law. Uneven ground and potholes everywhere making it VERY difficult to navigate the half mile we had to trek to the ship from the parking spot. Train tracks caused a 1 hour delay just to get there once you're on the island. However... the people working to check in people for the cruise and the security folks, all very nice. Way nicer than Florida or California. Hideous ugly view of decrepit buildings and burned out industrial areas. Embarrassing. One guy came over to me in my wheelchair. He worked for the port, I wish I had gotten his name. He gave me a challenge coin and thanked me for my service. Very nice indeed. But the terminal... yuk.

We love the express parking it so close. No shuttle just walk across the parking area and your there.

Google
Strong suggestion for more signs and directions for those that are boarding the luxury ships and signs for shuttle service lines and waiting stations. It can turn into a frustrating madhouse.

Insanely busy. The pics don’t do it justice. No direction as to where to go. I feel bad for really old people trying their first cruise outta here. Madhouse. And it’s just ugly and gross. The water is gross there too. That is all. Next time we’re going to try Florida.

Rented a manual jeep. Great price and the guys are terrific. Ask for a map and directions if unsure where you're going. Drove around island and was way better than a cruise excursion. The guys even call a taxi for you when you get back. 10 dollar taxi ride from Carnival cruise port.

Mismanaged compared to other ports. Long lines and wait times both on and off. Many left in the heat despite plenty of space inside at security. Parking expensive and expect long waits for shuttles; this can impact your flights.

All around nice city, if you look around their are some nice places to Dine, saw a club. But at the port, this was the first time Norwegian Cruise line had docked at this port. My niece works on the cruise doing entertainment. Me and my brother were their to visit her.
