We had a fantastic vacation here in May. This resort is large, which is nice because it gives you a lot to explore. Our room was the perfect size for us, and organized very functionally. The Mickey Alexa, was a lot of fun. We loved that each room had those, and you have the option to turn the listening off for privacy. We did not eat at any of the restaurants, except for the food court, but loved that we had many options available. Overall, I would highly recommend staying here. The buses were easy to get to. We were able to pay for the shuttle from the airport, which was very conventient, and it was overall a very calm resort with a little something for everyone.

Me and my mum have just returned from a 2 week stay here a couple of days ago, and we had a lovely time.|This resort is gorgeous- the architecture, the theming, the facilities and it was always beautifully clean too.||After arriving in Orlando after a 9 hour flight from the UK we were greeted by the friendly cast members at the front desk (Adam and a cast member earning their ears whose name I unfortunately didn't catch!), they were super kind and were very helpful when we were unable to find our room number on the app despite it being past 3pm. Turns out the standard room we were supposed to have wasn't available, so they have us an upgrade to a preferred room- how kind and amazing, what a nice surprise!||The room was great, we were in the Casitas section overlooking the water which was lovely. (Only issue was our room being right next to the speaker which plays the resort ambiance music from 6am-11pm, also our Aircon was at a fixed temperature and couldn't be altered or turned down). But the proximity to the bus stop, small pool and El Mercado was super!||Throughout our stay, the cast members we encountered were super friendly and kind. Special shout out to Justin at El Mercado de Coronado who always has a lovely chat to me and my mum and remembered us, and even kindly gifted us some pastries one day too (and gave me a Mickey bar :)) thank you Justin!!!||Also a shout out to Destiny from the maintenance team; always like to bring stickers to give to the cast members, but my pack of stickers became stuck behind the drawer in the bedside table; destiny came to the rescue and saved my stickers (and fixed the drawer too). Thank you Destiny! ||The pools onsite at this hotel were lovely, with one main pool called the Dig Site which had a waterslide, a spa/hot tub and a kids splash pad and obviously a big pool. And 3 smaller pools in the hotel sections- our pool in Casitas was great being near the laundry which was handy for non-park days where you swim and do some clothes washing!||The staff at the Dig Site were super and attentive, helping to retrieve a large insect from the pool (in the UK we don't have insects that big so I had no clue what it was, I later found out it was a locust).||The only thing we had any issue with during our stay was the food, due to the quality changing each day. An example being that my mum had the vegetarian rice bowl and loved it the first time as it was fresh and had nice flavours, but the second time it was so unbearably spicy she couldn't finish it (she said it wasn't spicy the first time). |Also, we last stayed here at this lovely resort a couple years back, the pastries used to be self-serve so you could choose your croissant (for example) then take it to the till to pay for it, now they are behind a counter where you order them after queuing for them. Personally I thought the old system seemed more effective and created less queues.|Also, not food related but a suggestion which may be helpful for the quick service restaurant- possibly to add another mug wash station and also some washing-up liquid for the refillable mugs as for people staying a for a longer stay than a few days the cups need a little more than just water to clean them, especially if theyve had drinks like hot cocoa in them. ||But back to the positive, we had great experiences at the Dahlia Lounge overlooking the fireworks with some nice drinks, even trying the cookie flight one time. The music is pumped in for the Epcot fireworks show Luminous, which makes for a lovely viewing and listening experience from the comfort of the hotel. ||Overall a lovely stay and I would recommend for anyone to come see and experience this beautiful resort! :)

I had a wonderful experience during my visit to Coronado Springs! The rooms were impeccably clean, and the entire resort is spacious and well-maintained. There’s an abundance of activities to enjoy, from the beautiful pools to various recreational options. As expected from a Disney property, the staff was friendly and accommodating, which enhanced our stay. This resort is truly spectacular. The pools are not only clean but also beautifully themed, adding to the overall ambiance. I particularly enjoyed the walking trail, which is perfect for an early morning run or a leisurely stroll to get in some exercise. There’s no shortage of things to do on the property, and the easy access to the parks via Disney transportation makes it even more convenient. I can’t wait to visit again!

We stayed April 12-19. We were in Casitas 4. We loved having the bus stop just across the parking lot. We found getting the buses was no issues to the parks or to Disney Springs. However our room we are not thrilled with. It did its job in terms of a place to sleep and shower. The room did not have enough seating for 4 people, the amount of plugs for charging phones we had to search for. But we did manage to find them. About 2 days in to our stay our neighbours on both sides and above arrived. We ended up being able to hear full on conversations in both rooms beside us. We also heard their alarms each morning. Above us we heard them moving around constantly. One morning I did wake up to some adult noises happening in the room next to us. Having the window to look into each others rooms we were not found of. We did try to pull the curtain closed when we left each day so no one could look into our room. In terms of the drink stations they only had 3. 2 of them in being in the main building, the other at the pool. The one at the pool only had coca cola products. The other 2 had Sweet Tea and Chocolate as well. In terms of the food options we were unable to find anything that we could eat as we are not big on mexican food. However we were able to eat in the parks each day or at Disney Springs. Would I stay here again going to the parks probably not. If I was staying over night for a short time before a cruise or moving to a new hotel I might consider staying in the tower. On our checkout day a prom was going on. We were waiting off to the side on some couches waiting for our ride when a photographer came up and said us and all of our stuff had to move as they were doing prom pictures. She had also asked several other guests to move so they could do prom photos. We were not very happy that we had to move our 4 big suitcases and carry ons just so they could take a few photos when they could have gone elsewhere. Hotel Cast members did speak to them but they did not care or listen that resort guests come first.

We recently stayed in a Deluxe Suite at Gran Destino Tower in Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, and I was honestly blown away. I wasn’t expecting it to feel as upscale as it did—our suite had a separate bedroom, 1.5 bathrooms, and a really sleek, modern design. It felt more like a high-end hotel than what you’d normally expect from a “moderate” Disney resort.||What made the biggest impression on us, though, was the service in the Chronos Club. The staff there were warm, attentive, and just genuinely helpful every time we stopped by. I want to give a special shoutout to Maddie (Madison Sarnoff)—she was so friendly and kind, and really went out of her way to take care of us. It made a huge difference in our trip.||One person in our group has a butter allergy, and every morning the lounge team made fresh eggs just for them without any issue. That kind of thoughtfulness really stood out.||The lounge itself was peaceful, and it was nice having food and drinks available throughout the day—especially after long mornings in the parks. Everything felt clean, calm, and welcoming.||We’ve stayed at some of the deluxe resorts before, and honestly, this experience held its own—if not topped a few of them. Gran Destino is definitely underrated. I kind of didn’t want to write this review because I’ve been secretly hoping it stays a hidden gem!

One of the top hotels on property. Coffee in two very reliable spots and fantastic food across the whole resort. I love their little toddler pool, and even though it’s a bit of a hike around, it really doesn’t get to me as a big walker. The buses are perfectly fine and very reliable. The tower is a wonderful option and also very accessible to other parts of the resort. Take a nice nap out on the hammocks! I personally think this hotel has an amazing smell too!!! If you have an active toddler, the best site on property is the empty convention center. Let em rip!

From the second we walked in we received excellent customer service. Very welcoming. Throughout our stay we took advantage of all restaurants on the property & pool areas. All were well maintained and offered a great atmosphere. Please pay attention to the alligator and snake signs posted. We didn’t see either but if you aren’t familiar with Florida just pay attention.

Loved everything about this resort. We stayed in both the Ranchos And Tower. The tower is updated and nicer but both were wonderful. The staff is waiting to help everyone who walks in. The grounds are sprawling and really beautiful. My only suggestion is to maybe add a freestyle coke machine in each of the other 3 resort areas outside of El Centro/ the tower. It's a pretty long walk from the Ranchos just to fill up your cup.

Yelp
We loved our stay here at the Gran Destino Tower! This is technically a moderate resort, but it gives luxury energy. The main tower room we had was huge and brand new! They had a great bar that in the morning became a coffee bar/breakfast spot. They also have a cute open air restaurant/bar on the water! The pool looks like a Mayan temple and is very atmospheric. I think this is a resort where you get a lot of bang for your buck! The outer buildings are nice as well, but if you can swing the Gran Destino tower for a little more each night, I think it is worth it for the location and vibes!

Yelp
I loved my time at this resort! Pool was busy but there were other areas to sit/relax if you wanted some peace and quiet. The hotel has a bar which serves coffee in the AM and strong drinks in the evening! My tequila espresso martini was a delicious treat. I would definitely recommend this resort to anyone looking to stay at Disney!

Yelp
Your review of this resort can be fully dependent upon where your room is located. This resort is massive. It has multiple bus stops where some are very close to rooms. Now there are also rooms that are very far from everything! Tower: Okay the gran destino tower is absolutely beautiful! It's basically next to everything and if you stay in here, you'll 1000% enjoy your stay. Ranchos: The pro is you're very close to the really nice pool. The massive con is you're very far from everything else. Cabanas: Super small set of buildings. You can be far but still very close to everything. Casista: This is the largest chunk of rooms. You will probably be put here which can be both good and bad. Some of the rooms are very close to the food and bus stops. Others are a 15 minute walk away from anything. Food: All the food in this resort is located in one area. Essentially near the tower. They have several options from sit down to quick service. Pool: Honestly one of the best pool areas at Disney. Overall this resort is very nice and a great price point. It's also centrally located to a lot of the theme parks. The biggest con is where your room is located. After a long day of doing 30k steps, the last thing you want to do is another 5k steps to get to your room.

Yelp
Hidden gem! I felt like I was at a 5star resort. We came to Orlando for business but also took an extra day to go to Disney. The buses made it so easy to get to the park. This resort has a conference center so it's nice for Adults that don't want to be at a Disney resort with a lot of kids running around. It is HUGE resort so if you're staying in the back section it might be a lot getting back and forth to the main building where the restaurants are. We stayed in the front section right off the tower in a preferred room that faced the lake. We could see the fireworks over the top of the trees across the lake.

Yelp
I believe it completely depends on what room you book and what location you get for your stay to determine how much you'll like this hotel. The main tower hotel is beautiful. The lobby was gorgeous at Christmas. Down the hall there was a gift shop, market for casual dining, and a few restaurants. Rix sports bar and Three Bridges Restaurant were on property and good! You can stay in the main tower, which is newer and fancy or the casitas/ranchos toward the back of the resort near the pool. We were with a very large group and we stayed in the Ranchos area. They were very basic rooms, but clean and comfy. We were also close to the shuttle stop and we rode the shuttle to the parks a few times each day and never waited long. The pool area was impressive and I wished it were warm enough out to experience it.

Yelp
Disney's Coronado Springs is one of my all time favorite Disney resort. I had the pleasure of staying here twice prior and now will have the opportunity to stay with my kids. This moderate priced hotel has a Latin/Spaniard theme and it is huge with different sections. The main tower is known as the Gran Destino with very modern and comfortable rooms. The resort has four pools with main one including a fun water slide and pyramid. I am already counting down to my next stay at his really exceptional resort.

Yelp
This was my second trip to Walt Disney World in five years, and I thought I'd stay at a mid-range resort knowing that I'd be shouldering the whole stay for both my partner and I. When I visited in 2019, I toured most of the resorts, but Coronado Springs wasn't one of them, and heck was I impressed with this one, especially after staying at Saratoga Springs last time. The lobby and rooms both have a way more modern feel without going overboard with the Disney aesthetic. Coronado Springs attempts to look like an old Mexico in its approach and it does that rather well. Our room was situated in the Ranchos. While these rooms are the furthest from the lobby, they were located right in front of a bus stop which made it a whole lot more manageable. The walk to and from the room to the Koby was a healthy one and was only "bad" during times we were unfortunate enough to experience soggy Florida weather. All the dining areas looked nice and had some impressive food options but this is also where I have to express some disappointment. Disney is known for catering to various dietary needs, but when it came to Coronado's breakfast--this wasn't the case. I had simple requests such as gluten-free bagels or frittata without onions, but these were requests the staff couldn't honor so that was unfortunate. Would I stay in Coronado again? Absolutely but I won't be back in WDW for at least another few years and when I do it'll be at another resort as I try all the ones I can with every visit.

Yelp
I did not stay at the resort, however I did meet up friends who were staying here and enjoyed walking around and ordering a copious amount of cocktails at the bar in the front lobby. The grounds were well kept and I enjoyed the decor throughout the resort. It seems to be fairly large with many buildings that make up the resort and definitely a place for you to hit your step goals for the day. We made our way to the lobby bar that is down the stairs front the main front entrance. Our group sat at a table, however you need to order drinks from the bar. There was not that many people waiting at the bar but it did take quite a while for the drinks to be prepared. I ordered several Sangria-tinis which were tasty. The one noticeable difference was the quantity varied greatly per drink even though ordering the same cocktail and in the same exact glass. It would be great if the consistency of the cocktails were the same and or placed in a smaller glass to not look so empty. The cocktail was about $15 so would prefer a fuller glass.

Yelp
This was my first time going to Disney World and we stayed at Coronado Springs during our visit. All the Disney resorts have categories and this one is in the moderate category which just means the rooms are of a certain size and can fit a certain range of people depending on the room. The resort is pretty well-located to all four Disney World parks (shuttles will take 15-20 minutes one way). The bus stops are located throughout the resort and they have times for when the shuttles will arrive and to which parks. The resort itself was very nice and the rooms surrounded a large lake in the middle. There were bars, restaurants, and shops inside and hammocks and chairs outside. The room itself was on the older side and slightly out-of-date but was still good. The cool thing is that you can use the magic band to get in the door. We were barely in our room since we were out early and came back late but we had a good stay here.

Jamie A.

Yelp
Stayed here for a work conference. They have lots of places to eat, but they are not the greatest options. Three bridges has a great view. Resort has three smaller poles and one larger one. I like they have two places to work out. The resort is older but they keep it very nice and updated. It is one of the less Disney theme resorts and a little more adult friendly but kids can still stay there.

Ryan C.

Yelp
It took a lot of planning to figure out what resort to book for our trip but after some research and the sale they had going, we couldn't pass this up. We were told that Coronado was a deluxe-feeling, moderate resort so that definitely piqued our interest. Just on arrival, I think the Gran Destino Tower is one of the tallest resort buildings I've seen on property. The inside lobby was beautiful and the cast members/bell services got us checked in and took our bag pretty quickly. While we waited to get into our room, we were able to walk around for a bit and there is a lot to see. There was at least 3 pools, many restaurants/quick service/bars (we loved the drinks at Siestas Cantina), and we were even able to do a scavenger hunt for some buttons. Luckily we got the text two hours earlier than expected that we could get into our room because it was hot as hell. Our room was located in the Ranchos which was a small walk from the tower and near bus stop 3. The room was nice and clean. There were 2 beds and they were pretty comfortable. The bathroom was good. Water pressure was good and the toiletries smelled great. Only issue we had was that one day when we were coming back in the afternoon, our room was left open by housekeeping. Luckily nothing was taken or anything but we still let the front desk know what happened. A manager came to our room on the day we were checking out just to check if everything was ok and if anything was taken. Pretty good experience overall. Many things to do while not at the parks and plenty of places to eat/drink. Pretty relaxing vibe and I would come here if a deal presented itself again.

Yelp
The resort itself was OK. The real problem is the events people. With no advance notice, we had stuff being set up for a private event within 15-20 feet of our unit. When I asked what was happening, I was told in a very condescending manner that unless I worked for the company, it wasn't my concern. As I'd just closed the door to my room and was walking on the path from the building to the resort walkway, I pointed out it was in my interest to know about the tables and speakers being set up outside my door. When we returned from one of the parks, we were told we couldn't use the resort walkway but had to take a different route along the building. The person made it very clear she didn't want to talk anymore by just turning around to show me the back of her head. As an organization that should be all about service, this is just plain unacceptable. It's a horrible way to present the resort and their opinion of paying guests who apparently aren't special or magical enough to be treated politely. Will never go there again.

Andy C.

Yelp
Beautiful resort with all varieties of dining (cafeteria, midrange, and fine) and a fun pool and hot tub to bide your time between park visits. Modern, tasteful, and aesthetically pleasing accommodations. Recommended!

Yelp
The Disney's Coronado Springs Resort had changed since the last time I stayed here. There was a new Gran Destino Tower where I booked a room at. From the MCO airport I arrived by black car where it is always the fastest option. I walked inside to gaze at the new hotel lobby and greeted by a cast member holding an iPad. This was the beginning of that magical Disney experience at Walt Disney World (WDW). She had all my information and more than what shows up in My Disney Experience app. She also explained how to use Genie+ and Lightning Lane Entry. She gave me card keys but also showed me how to use my phone to enter my room. Our room was ready when I arrived at 2:30 PM. The room itself was very nice and had two queen beds. Everything was in working order had a small refrigerator for drinks. The room was on the 4th floor and had a nice view of Lago Dorado Lake. This is considered a Moderate Resort Hotel but felt more luxurious with beautiful lobby and bar, grounds, and amenities. One of the benefits of staying at the Gran Destino Tower was the close proximity to the Disney Bus Transportation station. Busses only travel directly from this resort to the parks and Disney Springs. I was not sure about the water parks. There are four stops around this resort and that's it. This resort is spread out so be prepared to walk a lot to the restaurants and pools. The food here is pretty good and at night popup bars appear. It was not crowded during my stay so felt nice to have a relaxing break from the parks. There are also daily activities for the kids at the pools and lawn. I noticed people staying here just hang out where can see many retiring from Disney Springs with shopping bags. It was very quiet and felt like an adult hotel.

Kary W.

Yelp
Clean rooms, on site food and restaurants, buses to all of Disney parks, beautiful views, staff friendly. About 25 miles from the airport (MCO). Convention center attached. Lots of friendly staff to help you get around.

Rare R.

Yelp
First time at Disney. We came along for my husband's work event. We stayed for the weekend and enjoyed every moment. The hotel is new and the staff is very friendly. We arrived late Friday night. There weren't many dinner options still open but we dined at the restaurant directly across from the cafe. The tower is fairly new. We extended our night and booked through a different site. Doing so took us out of the tower and farther down into the older hotels. The amount of walking you can do around the property is insane! Be prepared. The pool area is nicely decorated. The shuttles to and from the theme parks ran smoothly. It did end up raining a few days while out there but we made the best of it with the amenities inside. I would suggest the Rix Cafe for dinner. We dined at the more expensive dinner on the upper floor and I was not impressed eit

Yelp
Convention Review See other reviews for features of this resort, including the pool and health club. I am a Disney Vacation Club member so know the Disney property and hotel locations fairly well. Coronado is Disney's first moderate convention hotel and has the third most rooms out of all 44 hotels on Disney property. Although noted as an Animal Kingdom resort, Coronado is probably the most central location to all of the Disney parks. The Epcot Boardwalk area is "across the street" and a five minute Lyft ride away. The Coronado resort is a compound, much bigger than the large building (Gran Destino tower) you see as you pass on World Drive and similar to what I see with the larger DVC resorts, such as Saratoga Springs. Disney buses have 4 stops, the first stop is in the casitas area, the last is at the main building. I stayed on the ground floor of a casita, a large multi-story building. If you want to be near the convention area, buildings 1 and 3 are closest. I stayed in building 2, but it only added a couple of minutes to my walk. The convention area worked well for the multiple groups that we had. We had a large room for breakfasts, one day included Mickey for photos. The food was excellent. The room we used for most of our sessions was fairly quiet with the door closed, even with a partition wall and another group on the other side of the partition. Water, drinks and snacks were provided, including Mickey bars on our last day. WiFi worked without issues. The guest rooms had comfortable beds, a mini fridge, K-cup coffee maker, dual-headed shower, two sinks, a large screen TV and a Disney-fied Alexa that comes alive with "Hey Disney!" I felt pampered by the room features. A 15-acre lake is in the middle of the compound (Lago Dorado) with a comfy bar on the lake and amazing waitstaff. Drink prices are quite reasonable and the view is beautiful. The gift shop is fairly small for the size of the resort, but does offer most of the items you would expect to see in a resort gift shop. We had a couple of nightly events, one outside at a grassy area at one of the casitas, and another at Epcot for dinner, dessert and fireworks. Notable favorites were the multiple margarita flavor options and mini churros at the casita event, and the prime rib and fireworks viewing area at Epcot. I did not eat at any of the restaurants at the Coronado, but I did hear from another convention attendee that they enjoyed the Maya Grill, but had a 2-hour wait for a table. Note that Disney restaurants can be reserved 60 days in advance, but the Coronado resort does offer multiple "quick service" options if you do not know your dining plans in advance. We were completely fine for the week without a car. Lyft to/from the airport is reasonable and Disney bus transportation was dependable. Disney offers a good deal on discounted convention tickets that are not available to the general public, including 1pm and 5pm park entry options. One thing to note is that the Coronado is not a deluxe resort and therefore does not qualify for the extended evening option that is occasionally offered at some parks. The 30 minute early entry option as a Disney resort does apply, however.

Yelp
Came for five nights and stayed in a standard two queen club level room. The room was very nice and the bed was comfy. The bathroom vanity was a little short on counter space for my makeup bag, but I enjoyed the walk in shower. Our room was directly across from the Chronos Lounge which was convenient but a little noisy. We went to the main pool (The Lost City Of Libola Pool) and loved it! Plenty of lounge chairs and the pool was so big it was never crowded. The 22 person hot tub was wonderful as well. We ordered nachos and personal pan pizza from the Siestas Cantina and it was pretty good. The nachos were Doritos with ground beef and toppings and the personal pan came out steaming hot like it was microwaved but wasn't bad. The Chronos club level lounge was beautiful. Breakfast was always scrambled eggs with different sides. They also offer yogurt, cereals, oatmeal and plenty of breads, baked goods and fruit. The refrigerators are always stocked with beverages, mini bags of apple slices and grapes so you can just grab and go. My favorite were the desserts in the evening, and at 9 PM they dim the lights for viewing the firework's from Epcot. They also have beer and wine and plenty of snacks to eat. The Barcelona Lounge in the lower lobby also offers breakfast in the morning. They have sandwiches, speciality coffees and muffins & smoothies. The sandwiches and smoothies were very good. The area is absolutely gorgeous with high top and lounge seating. I have to admit this is now one of my top places to stay at Disney World. I love having so many restaurant choices here in the hotel. After a long day at the parks, you can come back here for dinner and relax and you are already home. I can't wait to come back!

Tina M.

Yelp
I love this place so much! It's amazing as soon as I got in they treated us like royalty. I loved everyone who worked here. Customer service was fantastic we had a room at the tower a club level. And I loved the vip vibe from that access we were given. Everything about this place was perfect. And that's hard for me to say because I'm pretty picky.. lol the breakfast and snacks at the club access was incredible and they people working there was wonderful kind and made you feel so special. I'm definitely going back. I felt so much happiness staying there. Can't wait to do it again. Very clean. Extremely impressive customer service. beautiful hotel and lounge even the outside is amazing absolute perfection.

Yelp
We stayed here for a couple nights and it was a really nice time! It definitely feels like you're in a desert area immersive with cacti everywhere, dusty-vibe cottages that you'd expect to see in some sand and heat, etc. You do NOT feel like you're at a hotel in Florida, but perhaps at a camp way out West, which I love! The main buildings are gorgeous inside and there are plenty of activities to do. The rooms themselves are cute as well, a very rustic feel with big huge slider doors separating the bathroom from the main room. However, I do give it four stars because I felt like the rooms were lacking that "umph" you would expect when going to something Disney themed and it was just missing something. I had high expectations on the theming inside the rooms and although they're nice, I felt they fell a little short based on price point.

Yelp
Had a really great time at this gorgeous resort. We stayed in the Destin tower which was the perfect location. The tower is updated so beautifully and a lobby bar is a perfect way to wake up in the morning and relax at night. The whole property itself is clean up-to-date and luxurious. My one con for this resort is that it is a Disney convention center location. There were so many people from this one convention that at times it really felt like it was their hotel. One night after the parks we wanted to come have a drink in the hotel lobby bar, but it was full of hundreds of people from the convention and it made us feel not welcome. Overall had a really good experience. I would stay here again, but maybe check with reservations to see if they would tell you if a convention is happening that weekend

Yelp
This is by far one of my favorite hotels on Disney property. My family and I booked a last minute trip for the weekend and were able to get a room here with a good deal. When we arrived to the hotel, we went to the lobby and checked in. We noticed our room was far, so we asked if we could have another room closer to the lobby and the young lady was very helpful and moved us to a closer building. We were so amazed by all the beautiful holiday decor on the lobby, all we wanted to do was walk around. However, we had plans to get to Hollywood studios, so we wanted to get to our room and get situated. Our room was gorgeous and very clean. We had a standard room with two queen beds. The beds were very comfortable :) the bathroom was very spacious as well and had two sinks and the shower included a standard shower and also an extendable shower head. The resort is stunning for the holidays. We walked through to look around at all the stuff they had for the holidays as we made our way over to the buses and we were very impressed with everything. We will definitely be back to stay here again.

Yelp
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Coronado Springs. The property is definitely a value rather than upscale resort, with rooms resembling very nice motel rooms. The property is also very quiet, at least it was for us with our rooms on the backside. All of these were major bonuses for us. We didn't want a lot of noise and we liked the charming quiet room blocks. Our room had plenty of space AND a ceiling fan - what a joy when room temps in hotels are always challenging to get "Just right." The Keurig was a nice choice and our room had everything, except for a microwave, to make for a simple low-budget stay. We would 100% stay here again.

Yelp
For a hotel built in 1987, the Disney Coronado Springs Resort was in pretty good shape. This was my first stay in a Disney hotel for we elected to stay at other resorts in the past. Additionally, I was in town for a work-related conference so this was the property they booked for us. Although the room was clean and fairly spacious, my one gripe was the lack of a microwave in the room. Even the lowest budget motels have a microwave in the room. But not at the Disney Coronado Springs Resort. Why?! I have a theory for this but I will keep it to myself. I can say that the ALLLLLLL of the staff I met and spoke to at the property from the security gate patrol to the grounds keepers were extremely friendly and helpful. It appeared that they would be more than willing to help and it felt genuine which really impressed me. The grounds were immaculate and the greenery and flowers were so beautiful and vibrant. One bonus I really enjoyed was Meeting Chip & Dale and Daisy Duck!!! Talking about a grown woman fanning out like I was a six year old girl was a little weird but it's Disney and they totally allow and encourage it. Lol! If ever I had the opportunity to stay there for a work related event, I would gladly return.

Yelp
About 10 years ago, I did a dive in the giant Epcot Aquarium tank, one of eight US aquariums which offer scuba diving in their tanks. Epcot boasts the 2nd largest aquarium in the U.S. with 5.7 million gallons of water. It is second to the Georgia aquarium. The dive was both fun and easy, and I looked forward to doing it again. A decade later, the Epcot aquarium is now called The Seas with Nemo & Friends, as opposed to The Living Seas, but I hoped the dive would be much the same. It would be easier to stay on the property, so I checked out the available hotels and selected the Coronado Springs, which is in the "moderate" range, which in Disney terms is about $300+ a night this time of year. You can stay in the 16 floor tower, which is the main building, or one of the many standalone buildings. We stayed in the latter, as we thought it might provide a more relaxing accommodation. Positives: + Very nice family fun themed pool and play area called The Dig, with water slide and playground. Yup, it gets busy there. + Choice of quieter pools for adults avoiding the mayhem at The Dig + Beautiful grounds + Good restaurants including the Toledo's and Three Bridges + Fast check-in, our room was assigned using the Disney App and ready on-time + Comfortable bed + Fridge in room + Room was quiet during our stay + Friendly staff + Large TV Negatives: - Confusion about our room, which we thought was a king, but got two queens. This was resolved for us, but our water view vanished. - Only one upholstered chair to, and it is rock hard. - The chair for the desk is just a plain chair, also uncomfortable. - You can't get Netflix or Amazon Prime, etc. on the TV, I solve this by always bringing an HDMI cable withe my laptop. - Extremely loud fan in the bathroom, which automatically turns on when you walk into the vanity area. That was really annoying! - One window in the room, it doesn't open - Motel like setup, if you're curtain is open, people are walking by your window. - Pricey restaurants and drinks, two glasses of wine at Three Bridges rang in at about $50. Disney is pricey in general. - No room service. - Concierge only available in Tower in person, can't contact them via phone or email. There are multiple bus stops serving all the parks, it's fast and easy to get around. Overall, we felt the positives and negatives balanced out, yielding a three-star rating.

Yelp
I really enjoy staying at Coronado Springs. The main tower and lobby are nicely decorated with plenty of spaces to hang out. There is a bridge that connects the main tower to the hotel rooms and the surroundings are beautifully maintained and well lit at night. We stayed in the Cabanas across from the water. There is a small sandy area with hammocks facing the water. The pool has a tower that looks like a temple with water flowing down. At night, guests can relax at the lawn and watch a movie. The front desk staff are helpful and housekeeping was efficient. I will keep coming back here as I feel it is a great value for a Moderate category hotel

Yelp
Worst hotel. It's a meat factory and there is a reason it's the only disney resort hotel available when others are booked. First of all, it has insufficient signage. Finding the room, the elevator or anything took forever. The hotel is huge and consists of El Centro (you have to know that this means Main Building) surrounded by Casitas, which are Buildings. The walk from El Centro to our Casita took 20 mins, lugging many bags, with cranky children and in hot humid weather. The poor signage means it took longer than it should have. When we finally found our two adjacent rooms booked on same reservation, the mobile key did not work for the 2nd room. The front desk said someone else in our party needed to register for the disney app. That registration process in itself is like filling out an employment application. The rooms are on the same reservation so this made no sense. We had to walk back to the El Centro (another 20 mins) to get a physical key. No apology from anyone for our wasted time. Then there are the crowded buses to disney parks. This hotel always has a huge line and insufficient buses so we ended up waiting half an hour at Magic Kingdom to get on the second crowded bus. In the morning, good luck taking advantage of the early admission because the busses will be full. In our room, more crap. The sinks did not drain. The shower and bathroom door (sliding door) did not close or lock. The bathroom had an automatic fan that was louder than a jet engine and no matter how many times I turned it off, it always turned on again. Room service was weird, some days they made the bed, others did not. The days they made the bed, they made cute arrangements with the towels and our kids stufties so that was about the only highlight. I have stayed at other Disney resorts and they did not have any of these issues. For the amount of money paid, I am very dissapointed with Coronado Springs and will not be coming back.

Yelp
3 stars for the Casitas, Ranchos & Cabana building sections. 4 stars for the Gran Destino Tower. But ultimately rounded down to a 3 stars review. Because this is not the same level of experience as Port Orleans Riverside and I gave that review 4 stars. Coronado Springs Resort is a moderate category. Beautiful grounds but a pretty large property. There's a food court and a few casual restaurants on site. My favorite is the Three Bridges (separate review on that). We were here for four days, three nights in the beginning of September. Rooms have been renovated for a couple years now so everything in the rooms are updated, carpets removed and hardwood floor have been replaced, plenty of outlets to charge your MagicBand, cell phones etc and dual sinks + glass door showers have been added. Originally got assigned to the Casitas section. First few days were going fine and dandy until one evening, we found an unexpected critter in our room. Mind you, our room was on the 4TH FLOOR, I was thinking there's no way creatures would be able to come in. Boy was I wrong. There was a lizard that was crawling up the sink area ceiling. A few reviews below mine said she had a flying roach in hers. I am well aware it's the middle of the summer season and it's hot & humid in Florida so yes...creatures are going to be active. Took awhile for the exterminator to come up to our room and then he wasn't able to find the lizard anymore since it crawled into the space between the ceiling and behind the bathroom mirror. I WAS NOT ABOUT TO SLEEP WITH A LIZARD STILL POTENTIALLY BE IN THE ROOM. Long story short, I requested to move to the Gran Destino tower section, had to pay for an upgrade charge so I was bummed about that. I guess from the tone of the front desk agent, seeing creepy crawlies isn't surprising when living in Orlando. Totally understand but damn...can't even give us a courtesy upgrade or something? Wackkkk. Besides this little mishap, the entire resort was so relaxing and it's a gorgeous property. The bus transportation was great; buses were constant and arrived right exactly (sometimes even earlier) than the time posted on the tv screen. Pool area (The Dig Site) was very spacious and clean. We enjoyed our relaxing pool afternoon. All cast members we encountered throughout our stay was genuinely friendly and helpful. There's two 24 hour fitness room for those who are into that (in the Casitas building and Gran Destino Tower). All in all, I would stay at Coronado Springs Resort again but only at Gran Destino tower. The other buildings....definitely not during the summer season.

Yelp
The resort is growing on me - after about 5 stays over the years, I'm pretty confident this is the best value for money option at Walt Disney World. The things that the resort does well - the pool complex, ease of parking, excellent service - it does very well, but there are a few pain points that always leave me feeling like a deluxe resort might still be worth the extra splurge. If possible, spring for a room in the tower as the resort is gigantic and everything outside of the tower to me feels remote, especially in the Florida heat!

Yelp
Whether you are staying here for vacation, visiting for a conference, or stopping by for dinner, I have not found a place with more helpful people - on or off property. Hands down one of the best resorts and the BEST place for a national convention.

Bill M.

Yelp
Our first time staying here but not the first time visiting. Really nice place. Elevator La took some getting used to. You pick your floor before you get on. No buttons inside. Rooms were really nice and clean. A bit pricey but worth a splurge for special occasions

Izzieee B.

Yelp
Honestly this review is just for front desk! Anita from Peru was unprofessional and dont have customer service skills. Starting from no smiling, to getting frustrated when she couldnt figure my reservation out, to asking "do u need a bell man?" In a rude tone knowing and seeing how many luggage my family had? Why ask in a rude tone?!?! Attitude needs to be controlled. Like english aint her first language which is totally okay. But getting frustrated because she cant understand her own self is unacceptable. Please train her

Yelp
I was blown away at how amazing this resort was. This resort gets a lot of flack on their internal bus loop but we only had one bad experience on our last day waiting for a bus at Epcot. Other than that, you can't ask for a better place to stay on property at Disney. Coronado Springs takes on a new character at night and becomes even more magical. Housekeeping came every other day and went above and beyond after changing our beds and then placing my son's stuffed animals on top of the pillows. Please give this place a try on your next trip to Disney World.

Yelp
This Review is only for the "CORONADO PAINTING EXPERIENCE" at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort I was looking for something fun for my daughter and her bestie to do for her birthday other than go to one of the parks. I came across this experience at Coronado Springs Resort. Each month they have a different painting they do. It was a lot of fun and absolutely worth the cost. The only suggestion I have is that they should have maybe a coffee cart selling coffee, pastries etc towards the end of the event. Some people finish fasters or want to wait for their paint to dry a bit. Would be nice to be able to wait there while enjoying a pastry or snack. Anyway I highly recommend this event.

Yelp
My brother had to attend a convention, and I naturally took advantage of this to tag along. We stayed here from Sept 23 to Sept 28 2023. We were in Casita 1, 2nd floor. For myself, I have never been to a Disney Resort, so this was an overall good experience for me since I had nothing to compare the experience to. The rooms given were huge! We had two Queen beds, 2 bathrooms, a kitchenette with a breakfast nook, and a dining section (can sit 6!) along with a proper living room. There was so much space, and I was glad I didn't have to share a restroom with my brother or even a closet! The resort itself is huge with a few food options (I remember the one central food court that is open until 11pm. I frequented it a lot). There are a lot of upsides at staying at a Disney Resort, primarily that it has its own shuttle stations to take you to the individual theme parks. I also enjoyed that you can order the Magic Band through Disney and have it sent directly to the resort (where the cast members can help you on setting it up). The cast members were also great in helping you get to your room (I asked the bell services for help a lot). The major positive is Early Admission to the Theme Parks! Downsides of this resort: - Doordash will deliver only to the front desk / bell services. To access fresh water, you'd need to walk all the way to the Tower (a bit of a walk from Casitas) where the restaurants are to get that. - while cleaning is available every other day, they tend to get to the room by late afternoon. There was also a bit of issue where they cleaned one day and forgot the next and kept calling to ask if they could clean our room (this is while I was napping after a long day at the theme park). I even put the sign at the front of the door that there was someone indoors. I would have thought it would hint them to just go away. But nope, they will call the room and wake you up that way. Overall change from Disney resorts for those wondering - at this time, they still haven't returned the benefit of buying items from the theme parks and having it delivered to your room. I asked the first day, and they told me it hasn't returned yet. Overall, I enjoyed the resort, but it has some complications to it.

Yelp
Huge beautiful resort , mediocre rooms I recently stayed at the Coronado springs, and I really overall enjoyed the premises, but not so much my room. I had a easy/hassle free checkin experience, an absolute beautiful lobby and knowledgeable and friendly staff . We were given a map and directions to get to our room. Thank God we had a car otherwise it would've been a 15 to 20 minute walk to get to our casita . It was a very large resort and everything is spread out. There are three pools on property two quite pools and the main pool and attractions are all at the " Dig Site " . One of the quiet pools was located about five or so minutes away from my room but there was no bar there or anything exciting going on so we opted to walk to the dig site which is about a 15 mins walk . I am recovering from knee surgery and it's 1000° out. It would've been nice that they had some shuttle service available to take you to and from the pool and it's also a 15 minute walk to go get anything to eat. There is beautiful views all throughout the property , I just kept up very nice. But for lack of better words, my Casita is more like a motel than anything . The bed wasn't comfortable, the pillows were awful , and the decor was lackluster . If they updated the rooms a little bit better and had transportation options to get around this place will be a five star rating for sure, definitely room for improvement and potential

Yelp
This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in, the rooms are not soundproofed everywhere, you are as noisy as if you were asleep in the middle of the road, there are no Windows or vents, this is the experience of staying in a cheap motel for the price of a four-star hotel. Definitely not recommended!!!

Yelp
Spent two nights in a tower room of Coronado Springs. Our room was beautiful and being in the tower made everything easily accessible. We booked a round trip Mears shuttle from airport and it was super easy. And then we were able to use the free Disney shuttles the rest of our stay to get everywhere we wanted. I highly recommend grabbing the $22 refillable cup as soon as you get there as it was soo worth it. And the cabanas pool was nice and quiet every time we visited. I spent HOURS in the pool just relaxing. There are a couple other pools including one, I'm told, with a water slide. But the relaxing vibe of the cabanas pool was just what I needed. Managing our luggage even though we arrived before our room was ready and stay for over six hours after check out. They even weighed my suitcase before we left so I could be confident I would be ok at check-in. And our bell hop who brought us our luggage when our room was ready was willing to take his time answering all our questions about where schedules and where things were etc. I'd definitely recommend Coronado Springs if you're looking for a little upscale Disney resort.

Yelp
Improve procedures to handle a situation that causes guests to have headaches/migraines due to their employees burning something in the kitchen. That burning smell has made its way to the 11th floor. Fire department came and stated they were here an hour earlier for the same thing and then left after stating such. Been told they were over booked and unable to accommodate the situation. Terrible way to spend my honeymoon!

Lisa D.

Yelp
No matter now nice the employees are, this is not a customer-focused place in terms of design. I'm sure that there was a feeling that things looked fine and the number of places to pick up a meal or grab a drink were enough, but it's poorly planned out for something this large. There are not enough dining and other amenities and they're far too centralized. The signage is extremely poor. Again, I'm sure someone thought it looked nice, but you need signs to be visible where people are walking and exiting elevators and stairwells. The elevators and stairwells also should be clearly labelled and easy to find. Instead, we essentially have a scavenger hunt. At night, the property seems to only have mood lighting, which is unsafe. And it's practically deserted after dark so you can't get help--and it takes many minutes to reach people on the phone. It's also physically dangerous--this is Florida and it rains sporadically all the time, so the many many flights of cement stairs should have traction and not just be painted with glossy paint. Clearly no one thought through what it would be like at night, in the dark, while it's raining, trying to cart your own luggage half a mile up and down slick stairs without good signage to a mystery location where you have never been before. Oh.... and the friendly front desk people don't seem to understand basic things about the property. Like, you can't take the elevator in the main building "down one floor" unless you know the name or number of the floor you're on (which isn't labelled next to the elevator panel, btw). And it's all well and good to say "bell service can help you" if you can't find the bell service because there aren't signs.

Yelp
Overall was clean, staff was friendly and a pretty resort that was well kept. The only reason this is getting a lesser review is due a roach found in our room on the ceiling above us one morning. I have stayed in some questionable areas in hotels and have never experienced a roach in my room until now. This might have been a fluke, but was still surprising to see at a disney property regardless.

Delicia P.

Yelp
Coronado Springs was amazing!! The food was great, the staff very attentive and polite, the rooms and grounds were so very well kept. I love that they fixed our room up every day even though they informed us it would only be every other day and that they left a birthday card and balloons to help us celebrate my daughters birthday. The pool was so beautiful!!

Maya C.

Yelp
What a beautiful resort!!!! I really wanted to stay in the Grand Destino Tower but it was out of my budget so made a reservation for a Standard View room and requested to be put in the Cabanas, specifically building 8A on the ground floor, right next to The Dig Site pool. It was a long shot but it doesn't hurt to ask right? Well we didn't get that building but they put us on the ground floor in 8B, also right by the pool and gave us a coveted corner room with two windows not to mention, a super short walk to the bus stop. Even though we were so close by, the comings and goings of the buses didn't bother us at all. They also graciously held onto my man's medical supplies that were shipped to the resort before we got there and kept them stored in the Business Center for safe keeping. Once we got there and got settled in the room, we called the front desk who retrieved them from the center and delivered it to our room. A big thank you to them for that as we would have struggled on our own with the boxes. Three Bridges is their only mobile ordering restaurant with a limited menu and we ordered a few times from there. I think the best thing I had from them was the Szechuan-peppercorn wings and the Roasted Corn Dip. I could eat that everyday. I ventured out early one morning to walk to the tower for breakfast. Even though it was a six minute walk it felt like a hike. I passed "Cabana Beach" with its white sands, umbrellas, and hammocks, passed the giant checker and chessboards gorgeous tile murals, to the food and shopping area. I highly recommend El Mercado. We liked their cheese danishes and breakfast sandwiches complete with hashbrown triangles. The Dig Site pool was the main pool and the only one we wanted to go to. I love the pyramid. They had an entertainment time for the kids or anyone who wanted to participate to play pool games, trivia, or create a tie dye shirt. The water felt nice on a hot day and I watched my man slide down the little water slide like a little kid. He loved that. The only thing I didn't like about our stay is that we couldn't watch Youtube from the room and that's petty to complain about right? Our stay was still fantastic and I'd love to go back!

Yelp
If you've never been in Coronado Springs, let me tell you that the resort is huge! I do like that the facilities are great. I went for a convention and dinner here. The food was absolutely amazing. Everything you would expect from Disney!

Gene S.

Yelp
Haven't been here in years and it dramatically changed from last time we were here. A brand new 16 floor building addition to the area and revamped and renovated rooms gives this place two thumbs up for me. Very nice experience and it felt like a deluxe resort (even though it's a moderate category).

James T.

Yelp
Disney's Coronado Springs Resort has easily become one of my favorite resorts, even places to be. Finally having had the chance to actually stay here it does not disappoint at all. From the moment you set foot in the lobby to the beautiful rooms, everything about this place just makes you feel at home, although quite a bit fancier than home. Possibly because of the attached convention center there are so many places to sit and be able to get some work done at this resort, possibly the most out of all the resorts we've visited here in Walt Disney World. The scenery al around the property is just exquisite. Rooms are nice and spacious in the Gran Destino Tower, each room does have a small refrigerator but can accommodate even two gallons of milk. There is no microwave in the room, but there is one down in the Mercado that you can use to heat up food. There is so much room to run around, go for walks, or just sit in the grassy plaza and possibly take in one of the movies under the stars. Just as with other Disney resorts there is a marshmallow campfire every evening over by The Dig Site pool. One of the few faults I could find here wasn't actually anything to do with Disney, it is the EV charging stations, those are run by ChargePoint. They work and will charge your vehicle, but the handle locking mechanism seems to be broken on all of them and have to connect it to your vehicle but then push the latch down so that it thinks it is locked in place, where in reality you can just walk up and unplug it.

Yelp
Coronado Springs is one of my favorite Disney World Resorts. I love the architecture, the random art, and all of the shopping and restaurants. Three bridges is my favorite restaurant, but I do like the rooftop bar and the tapas menu. Plus, the view from up there is AMAZING!!! If you plan your trip right, then you have included a day at the pool to just lounge. That is the most relaxing way. Either the main pool, or one of the quiet pools is a winner.

Christina B.

Yelp
I loved this resort! I'm sure it was that Disney magic in play but I didn't want to leave. I stayed here for a conference I attended but I 100% would stay here for a personal vacation. At their suggestion when I booked, I downloaded the Disney Experience app. You can check in on the app and can bypass the front desk altogether. I did check in at the desk since it was my first visit and I knew I would get lost trying to find my room. In addition to rooms in the tower, they have a ton of outbuildings called casitas and cabanas. The Disney app is also your room key. You just hold your phone up to the door and it unlocks, complete with Tinkerbell flourish. The room is big, especially since I was traveling solo. I had plenty of space to spread out. There's also a ton of storage if you want to put all your things out of sight. There were a lot of toiletries already in the room, including full-size shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the shower. Really all you have to bring is your toothbrush/toothpaste. After I unpacked, I wanted to head to Disney Springs. There are 4 bus/shuttle stops on this property alone. I headed to the stop nearest to the tower and the bus came in like 2 minutes or less. They dropped us directly off at the entrance to Disney Springs. On the return trip, each resort has its own bus stop at Disney Springs so you just wait for the bus and head directly back to the resort. I didn't go to any of the parks, but I imagine it would be just as easy. I am an early bird and I fully acknowledge that most normal people are not up and about before the sun comes up. The earliest restaurant on-site opened at 6:30 (Barcelona Lounge), the rest at 7. Each morning I was there, I watched the sun rise from the bridge over the lake, then headed to Cafe Rix for a cold brew. There was typically a small line when they opened at 7. The only issue that I had was that the wifi was not great in my room. But that just forced me to explore more so it wasn't all bad. I discovered my favorite place on the resort, which was the seating area next to the fountain outside of Panchito's. Every seating area had plenty of outlets and USB ports so it was easy to work with my laptop pretty much anywhere. The conference I attended was in the convention center at Coronado Springs. It was so easy to go from work mode to play mode throughout the day, and I only had to walk between spaces. The convention center itself was beautiful, with that Spanish flair of the resort. There were actually a couple other conferences happening at the same time as mine, it's that big. All the staff at the resort were so friendly. I know they have that special Disney customer service training but they genuinely seemed liked they wanted me to have a great day. Many of them asked more about our conference and making sure I knew all the fun things to do so I wasn't just working. There was one night it was pouring down rain. I had reservations for dinner so I ventured out, prepared to get soaked. For one, I walked all the way from the casitas to El Centro under rooftops so that was well thought out. Second, I turned around and there baskets of towels at every entrance. I didn't see anyone putting these out, it just happened. Truly it's like Disney anticipates everything you could need in advance before you even think of it. There are a ton of restaurants on the property itself. They do book up in advance. When I made my reservation, they let me know that some restaurants across Disney book up to 6 months in advance. They were serious. BUT they do have a mobile order to-go option at Three Bridges and Maya Grill, so I did that one night. You use the Disney experience app, of course, to put in your order. You pick a time range then when you're ready, you let them know you're on your way in the app and they'll send you a notification when your food is ready. I just checked in at the host stand and let them know I was picking up my food. For the next night, I made a reservation in the app for the Rix Sports bar. It was the same process, check in on the app when you're ready and they'll notify you when your table is ready. They do have a cafeteria on-site as well, the Mercado de Coronado. You don't need a reservation but it's grab n' go hot and cold options. You really don't have to leave the resort, other than to go to the parks. I didn't have a rental car but I didn't need one at all. I took The Sunshine Flyer from the airport and back, and the buses across Disney. I will definitely be back! I never really had a desire to go to Disney, my conference just happened to be there. I loved it so I definitely want to go back from a personal vacation. I wouldn't definitely stay here again.

Yelp
The main part of the resort where most of the restaurants and gift shop are located is beautiful. The Mercado had decent but overpriced food. The gift shop had a nice selection of souvenirs and accessories. We interacted with a couple of guest service reps, and both were pleasant and helpful. We stayed in the Casitas section one, third floor. The courtyard and the grounds were nicely kept, but the room itself was subpar and not what I expected for a Disney resort. The walls are very thin (we could hear the next door guests' normal volume level conversations as well as hear them sneezing, coughing, and using the toilet.) The room smelled musty. The wrong kind of shower door was installed as it was a hinge style in which the shower faucet could be accessed only when you're fully inside the shower. A sliding door would have been the correct choice and the most convenient for guests. We also didn't like the motel layout. You can see and hear people outside, and they can see and hear you if you have your curtains open. The Disney parks were amazing, and we likely make another trip to revisit. But next time, we know to spend the extra money to stay in the Tower section versus the Casitas, Cabanas, or Ranchos.
