The simplicity of its decor creates a world where fine dining meets a relaxed, non-descript, casual atmosphere. The food echoes this with a harmonious blend of rich, classy, and elevated flavors presented in a simple, stripped-down elegance. The chef's artistry shines through and blends flavors together to dance on your tastebuds. In essence, it offers more than a meal—it is an exploration of flavors, a celebration of ingredients, and an invitation to savor the artistry of Southern-inspired cuisine. 💡 Standout Feature: The real standout feature is in the ingredients; they take pride in sourcing the highest quality ingredients. This commitment shines through in every element, from the meticulously curated menu, the signature cocktails, extensive wine list, prime cut of filet, to the fresh locally sourced vegetables, and beyond. ⚠️ What Was Mid: If there is a minor letdown, it would be the desserts. In a culinary journey filled with unforgettable flavors, the dessert did not quite leave the same lasting impression for me. Yet, when everything else is a culinary symphony, it becomes a minor note in an otherwise melodious experience.

What a delightful surprise to find this beautiful restaurant, close to downtown Lexington, KY! There were four of us. We really enjoyed our entree selections: Short Ribs, Mussels, Steak, and Sushi, plus fresh warm bread. My friend's Old-Fashioned drink was delectable! The service was excellent and exemplary! We were delighted with our Saturday evening at Distilled. Thank you!

This restaurant probably doesn’t need another superlative 5-star review, but I’m going to give one anyway. Why? Because it’s impossible to over-praise this restaurant. I live part time in NYC and even there it’s hard to find a restaurant so spot-on with EVERYTHING: the food, the service, the ambiance, the cocktails… Where’s the Michelin star? This place is that good. The meatballs, the fried chicken, the smoked chicken, the dry-rubbed filet, the dessert: everything was not just delicious, it was all memorably delicious. And the service?—our waiter was so exceptional that I wondered if he mistook us for someone famous. Distilled on Jefferson is a restaurant I’ll not soon forget.

Went for brunch and wasn't a fan. Limited menu and they were out of an item. Salmon was good, Croque Monsier was disappointing. Great building with a lot of character and some weird electric keyboard music playing. Limited parking in the area. Cute, but probably won't be returning.

Yesterday, my wife and I dined at Distilled restaurant and were incredibly disappointed with the steaks we ordered. Despite requesting medium rare steaks, we were served well-done, dry steaks. At a high-end establishment where each steak costs $60, we anticipated a perfectly prepared meal. I couldn't help but think that we could have enjoyed a better-prepared steak at an Outback Steakhouse at the fraction of the cost. Now I don’t want to trash this place. This use to be one of our favorite restaurants to go to. We haven’t been here previously in many months. Also, one of my friends who came in to eat also mentioned his experience was not as good as prior times. I don’t know what has happened from then to now but management needs to fix it or this restaurant will go down hill.

This place is WONDERFUL. Everything was top notch. Food...service (Alison was one of the best servers I've had the pleasure to come across in my life. ) ...loved the vibe. If you're in Lexington THIS place is a MUST.
