Get Ready for Happy Hour on a Patio at District 7, Now Open at West Memorial Place | Eater Houston

"Set at 15375 Memorial Drive in West Memorial Place, the newly opened District 7 quietly debuted last week and presents a patio-forward option for happy hour or brunch. Run by wife-and-husband duo Shelley and Babak Ellham—who also operate District Tacos and Pizzas, District 7 Grill, and Cellar—it features a large outdoor patio with views of neighboring Terry Hershey Park, plus smoothies and quick eats for area workers and residents. Open for lunch, brunch, and dinner, the menu leans toward crowd-pleasers such as paella, pizzas, burgers, and braised beef short ribs; brunch brings gravy-slathered chicken and waffles, omelets, pork steak and eggs, and lighter plates like a "breakfast salad" or a bunless burger topped with a fried egg, alongside boozy staples like mimosas and Bloody Marys. I expect the happy hour to be seriously hopping given specials like $5 beers, $6 margaritas, and $10 pizzas; hours are 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday–Wednesday, 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Thursday–Saturday, and brunch Sundays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. with dinner until 10 p.m." - Amy McCarthy

My sister and I picked District 7 Memorial for our brunch date, and honestly, it was a whole vibe before we even sat down. The place has that trendy, effortlessly cool crowd that makes you feel like you should’ve worn sunglasses indoors just to fit in. I ordered the salmon sandwich, which looked beautiful, tasted good, but surprisingly had a sweet kick that left me a little confused — like, “Ma’am… why are you sweet?” Still enjoyable, just not what I expected. On the other hand, the oysters? Listen. The different flavors had me feeling alive, rejuvenated, and slightly dramatic. I may or may not have closed my eyes like I was in a food commercial. The outdoors area is stunning — airy, modern, and definitely Instagram-approved. Though finding the restaurant itself felt like a mini scavenger hunt because the flowers were doing the absolute most and basically swallowed the sign. Cute for photos, confusing for navigation. Staff was friendly and super helpful, which always makes the whole experience feel so much warmer. And honestly, the best part was just sitting with my sister, eating good food, and having the kind of conversation that makes the whole day better. Overall? Solid 8.5/10. Will definitely be visiting again — preferably with a GPS that knows how to look past the flowers.

This was our first time here and the ambiance is relaxing and business casual considering it's next to what looks like office buildings. We only went to try the oysters and we had the cooked ones and you can split the flavors of the dozen you get for the order. Both were delicious and I just remember one was a bacon jam one. The drinks for happy hour had a great taste and they were strong for just 1 drink which I loved. I'd recommend this place for a relaxing dinner. Sitting outside would be best in the cooler months but it was still nice in the evening on the summer day we went.

Very accommodating for our large group. Nice atmosphere, vibe and place. It's connected to an office building, we were there on a Saturday for brunch so weekdays may be different.

I really love the outdoor seating. A few tables with great shade and it's right across from the park. Quiet too. Food is good and the staff were very nice. I do wish the French fries had a better crunch.

I absolutely LOVE this restaurant! I’ve been coming here for about two years and the service is excellent every time. The manager John is spectacular! He treats us like his family and he is wonderful. The food at this restaurant is top tier! I always try something new each time to spice it up and it never disappoints. I HIGHLY recommend coming to this location for great food and customer service!

Google
We tried District 7 tonight for the first time. My husband got the Denver steak and I got the Pancetta Shrimp Carbonara. We were both disappointed. The flavor of my dish was good but it was lukewarm at best. The Denver steak was good but the vegetables were a little underdone and very bland. Atmosphere was good but I don't know that we'll try again just based on the food. Maybe! Hopefully it was just a bad night

Google
Food and customer service was great! Loved my espresso martini. They also give really great suggestions for mocktails for my friend who didn’t drink.

Visited for the first time and enjoyed our meals. Osso Bucco is a generous portion and I enjoyed the peach twist on a whiskey sour.

Yelp
This restaurant was participating in Houston restaurants week so I decided to give them a try and was very disappointed with both the service and the food. We came in on Tuesday evening, it wasn't very busy, but service was so slow. It took a while for a server to come out and we had to ask on three separate occasions for bread, which didn't come out until our entrées came out. And the bread was bad, very dry and the flavor was not great. For Appetizers, I got the calamari and my friend ordered the cauliflower. The calamari was OK. Pieces were a bit small and overcooked, but it wasn't terrible. The pomegranates added a nice kick of freshness to the dish. As for the cauliflower, it was OK nothing crazy. I found the black olives and Parmesan to be a bit of a weird add to the dish. It just didn't make the dish look appetizing to be honest with you. To drink, I got the spicy mango margarita which was very watered down. The mango taste was very slight, and the jalapeño seeds kept getting stuck in my straw. It wasn't that great of a drink. For entrées, we both ordered the lamb chops which came with truffle risotto, and asparagus. When our plates came out, you can immediately see the difference in quality. My plate looked bad, fatty, not seared. My friend's plate looked beautiful, way better than mine. And we both asked for them to be cooked the same way. The lamb was good, but not great. The asparagus was good but the risotto was not it. When you take the first bite, you get hit with an intense truffle taste, but as you keep eating the risotto, the flavor disappears, very bland. The risotto wasn't creamy either, it was dry. I think they only drizzled the truffle on top of the risotto so that's why the first bite was so intense with truffle flavor. For dessert, we ordered the crème brûlée and the Pazooki, both items were BURNT, VERY BURNT!!! I don't know how the chef looked at these items and said it was OK to send out. Overall, for the service and food quality, I was not impressed nor would I recommend my friends to come eat here. Also they charge a liquor tax? Not worth it for the drinks in my opinion

Yelp
Sunday HRW Brunch with my friend Ronald S. District 7 was our very first HRW for 2025. Short story: -1 Absent host. -1 Appeared to seat the people who walked in with me, who arrived after my friend been waiting to be seated with menus. -1 Server came to table after 4, (-1) told us we couldn't order brunch. (-1) Good cold temp. (-1)Cold syrup and (-1) Hair and food. No discount solution given even after mentioned (-1) (only dessert, which we decline several times, & was not good either) I called ahead of time to confirm brunch hours. Till 4 PM. Great. Ron arrived before me, we were on the phone the entire time of his travel and arrival. While being OTP till I walked in, I spoke to a host who was talking about nothing retraining to business outdoors and west menus and to be seated, my friend Ben waiting so long he was not aware if he was supposed to seat himself out not. No one acknowledged him. A older host sat a couple who arrived after us while he's been waiting, even after being notified. We felt ignored and dismissed. Which day a nasty tone. But we were hungry and happy to explore the menu. The young host I spoke to outdoors from the patio walked in to seat us. The table needed to be wiped down, she did that and gave us menus. I like that she provided HRW menus without request from us. We were ready to ordered prior to arriving. She said we had to wait for our server and she couldn't take the orders. So I thought: (wtf She was outside talking to the guy at tide table so long for if you not allow to take meal orders). We were ready and Waiting, seems like they were waiting till 4 to come take the orders She gets there, I started spilling out my order, she stop me to say BRUNCH IS OVER, you can't order that. "While we were here before the end of brunch, no one was here at the door to greet or sit us. He was waiting to be seated with menus, and they sat people who arrived after him, after he didn't even know how the establishment operate and if he was supposed to sit his self or wait. And then we tried to order with the host who sat us with menus, she said we had to wait for the server and you don't show until after four. We've been waiting for over 10 minutes. We've been knowing what we wanted before we even arrived. We only came for brunch." She confirmed, came back said we can order we did. The Mac and cheese on the waffle was cold. I asked for hot syrup, which didn't come out until I was on my last bite of my waffle. And I had to call someone else and asked them, which took forever. And it was only about 4 tables occupied in the place. Not busy at all. After she deliver our plates she didn't come back and check on us until we were on the last bite. I couldn't tell her about the cold mac & cheese, I couldn't tell her about the hair on my plate. Or that she forgot my warm syrup or that I needed another one The manager John came to visit I showed him the hair he removed it with the quickness . His solution was to offer a dessert that neither one of us wanted it after experience that we had and that I shared detailed by detail. John kept offering a dessert continuously and I was trying to give it to my friend and he didn't want it either. We were good on the dessert but John was like you know we could take it to go, I was like OK my friend mentioned that he would've did the carrot cake so I did the carrot cake & Try to give it to him. He refused trying to carrot cake later on that evening. It had nuts and raisins in it. It wasn't good. It wasn't my cup of tea, but John was like whenever you come back you can always get a dessert on me. This was sweet, but this didn't fix this visit. This was not a solution to the multiple problems we experience on this visit. This does not encourage me to come back.

Yelp
This spot was very quiet for a Saturday afternoon during brunch time. Not a complaint because me and my party of 4 walked in and were immediately seated, orders taken and drinks served. Out of everything we ordered, it was great. My son had shrimp and grits, daughter had French toast and the best friend had a steak cooked medium. Every plate was cleaned. I also had a mimosa flight and it was great! I will be coming back to this gem.

Yelp
Such a great spot. Very good food, great atmosphere and nice service. The pasta bowl I had was really nice and my husband had the pizza. Very delicious!! We will be back.

Yelp
I enjoyed a braised short rib pappardelle here on a semi-busy Monday lunch. The dish itself came with ample meat and noodles, though I personally could have done with slightly more mushroom. Complimenting it was the mushroom cream sauce, which was plentiful and suited the dish nicely. The ambiance of this restaurant makes it perfect for a work or post-walk meal. While parking can be tight, there is ample street parking available nearby. Service was good as well. Overall, I would recommend this place particularly for folks in the area looking for a work get together spot .

Yelp
Houston Restaurant Week Review This was a hit it out of the park experience. Great food (that bruschetta board!), gorgeous venue, perfect service. Bonus? One of the better steak salads in Houston! I like to use HRW to try new restaurants but I'm tempted to repeat visit here for dinner tho week!!

Yelp
They have a liquor tax ...To some people this might be a deal breaker but just FYI I don't know how this place has a 2 dollar sign. In my opinion, the food cost is way higher vs the quality. At these prices you could easily go to city center and enjoy a meal there. However, you might be paying for convenience since it is nestled quietly in the neighborhood. I will give it that when it's slow you get extremely good service, but we've seen it also busy and they get sloppy.

Yelp
We were in for quick brunch. It was empty and we were sat immediately. Service was excellent. Our server was engaging and witty. Food came quickly and was hot. It was just as we ordered. We had a Mimosa, Belini, and latte and we finished them!

Yelp
Neat little place that has very good service and good food. Great place for a business lunch. We will return

Yelp
Came here to grab a quick lunch and had a pretty good time. It was a nice day so we sat outside but it was also pretty packed inside, so I would suggest getting there a bit early to get a table. We got to try a few different items, including the crawfish hush puppies and the paella. I didn't personally try this, but my friend got the loaded Mac and cheese and it looked pretty worth it! The paella was a decent size and came with plenty of seafood. It was a touch under seasoned but I still enjoyed it! Service was decent, and same with pricing for today's standard.

Yelp
Great place!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Great service and the food is way better than expected. There is a something for everyone on the menu. New menus items "EASTEX" - picture attached of the Shawarma tacos. Great for sitting outside and ambiance. Overall excellent.

Amazing food and drinks. The ambiance is amazing too, I always sit at the bar for great service and it never disappoints.

Yelp
The food was excellent, the ambiance amazing but the service was impeccable. I dint give 5 stars but this place deserves it

Yelp
Unfortunately EVERY time I try to give this place another chance. They disappoint in the worst way. Ordered a pizza to go.....and it's quite literally inedible! The entire bottom Was soaking wet and soggy. If the ingredients on an item soaked the pizza like this I would think the cook time would be higher or it would just be cooked on a different crust. Not sure how much different the pizza taste with dine in, but this was absolutely terrible!!! Trying to pick up a "piece" caused the whole thing to just fall apart. Time & money= wasted!!!

Yelp
Food is consistently delish! Every time friends and family visit , grabbing a bite here is always on the itinerary. Staff is always friendly as well.

Yelp
I sat at the bar around 3 pm and there was barely any customers. I ordered the pancetta shrimp carbonara which needed more salt. There was a good char on the shrimp, but salting food is pretty basic. Near the end of my meal, there was 2 groups of about 8-10 people who came in and that's when my server completely ignored me. I'm still the only person at the bar, so it was pretty easy to see me. All I needed was the check, and for him to charge my credit card. It took a long time to get his attention just to give me the check. And then he never came back again. I even asked a gentlemen behind the bar, which I assumed he was a bartender since he was making drinks, if he could get my server because I just need to pay the bill. I don't know if he told the server but I was waiting so long that I had to get up and take my bill to the server. He then said "oh my gosh, I'm sorry" which means he completely forgot about me. I don't think anyone should have to get up and walk to a server just for them to swipe my credit card. I still don't know why the other guy behind the bar couldn't do it himself either.
google avatar

Lupe M.

Yelp
Been here a few times for happy hour. It's really hit or miss with the food and drinks. Guess it depends on who's working that day. Which is not good as the prices are not cheap.

Yelp
UNHAPPY LOYAL CUSTOMER Hi guys! Let's get into this review! I love that they cook my food in olive oil, big plus!! The food is delicious, the staff is friendly... Now that I've gotten all of the subtleties out of the way...tonight I ordered the same thing I always get, brussels sprouts and broccolini, the broccolini is good, it's consistent, but the brussels sprouts were dry, I took them back, got another batch, they were dry as well (which means they're OLD), and they didn't put the almonds on them...I don't have time to go back AGAIN to get the almonds!!! I'm really disappointed...I didn't get what I paid for...the food would be more consistent if they had a rubric to follow, since they have more than 1 cook...I shouldn't have to be concerned with the quality or consistency of my food every time I order from this establishment. Questioning if I should return... ADDENDUM: they didn't cook my food in olive oil this time, as I requested, and my stomach was TORN UP ALL NIGHT!!!! I'M DONE!!!!

Yelp
I love District 7. Aside from the excellent service (sat at the bar for brunch) from the bartender, the food was great and the prices are reasonable - I love how convenient (location) is from my apartment. I also love that they have a patio seating area where they allow dogs.

Yelp
I was craving for oysters and I was glad this place has reasonable pricing. Very nice interior and ambience. I got the mixed oyster. The Gulf oyster were huge and filled my mouth. The East oyster were smooth and good as well. The grilled lemon garlic oyster were grilled perfectly. I loved the smoky taste and the cheese added a nice texture. The taste was light enough where you can still taste the oyster and not overwhelming that you just taste the cheese. It was a good balance. The hush puppies was a hit and miss. I was not expecting for it to come with kale. Weird combo. Unfortunately the hush puppies was dry and bland. The sauce that came with the hush puppies was a weird sour vinaigrette taste? It didn't seem like it was a good pairing. Keep it simple and should come with either melted butter, ketchup, tarter sauce or even ranch. However surprisingly the bed of crispy kale was yummy. I love kale and with a sprinkle of salt it's kale chips. As I got to the bottom there was a sweet sauce which elevate it with a nice yummy flavor. I enjoyed it a lot. Forget the hush puppies, give me the garnish that comes with it lol. Maple salmon - If you want something on the healthier side I'd say this will be a decent option. However I didn't taste any maple and the salmon lacks flavor. In fact the whole dish lack seasoning. My bf disagree and think it was decent but could also use a bit more seasoning. Another reason for the 3 star is because my waiter didn't give the best customer service. Very subpar service. Not much interaction and didn't give a friendly vibe. The service is part of the dining experience and he didn't give us an enjoyable atmosphere. I would come back for the grilled oyster hands down and the Ghost in the Machine IPA beer was super good and only place I know that has this.

James S.

Yelp
Nice upper scale modern atmosphere with a wide variety of food. Very friendly staff. Items I have tried are above average for the area. Good selection of drinks. It's the kind of place to stop after work with coworkers.... nice, clean, pleasant, with enough variety that anyone can find something they will find acceptable.
google avatar

Mildred A.

Yelp
This was a pleasant surprise! The restaurant is beautiful on the inside and the patio is pretty nice! Went here for brunch and was not disappointed. The staff, Ivan especially, was attentive and provided great service. The omelettes we had were great! The waffles were amazing!! I definitely think it I place to try!
google avatar

Mahwish S.

Yelp
Cute restaurant on a quiet street. You wouldn't know it was there unless looking for it. For inside seating, reservations are highly recommended. We didn't have one so had to sit outside and it was very windy. In the beginning service was very slow until our server switched and we got James instead and he was very on point! He checked on us often and gave us updates on our food. The kitchen service was still pretty slow. For appetizers we tried the grilled oysters and crawfish hush puppies. The hush puppies came in a bed of crispy kale and was delicious. It got demolished before I got to take a picture. We ordered different entrees and let each other taste. Everything was good and well seasoned except for the braised short beef pasta. That dish needed more flavor. The pizza dough was great! Overall, it was a good dining experience. Will give it another go again.

Tristan F.

Yelp
I was very excited when I started looking at the menu because they have a wide variety, with fun and unique options. However, when we started eating our meals the food just seemed a little off from what we expected. The braised beef mac n cheese had very dry meat, the beef shawarma tacos had a strange texture and consistency, and the calamari was very soft and flimsy. I could just be nitpicking but it seemed like both of us just kept getting thrown off.

Claudia K.

Yelp
The fish here is absolutely unacceptable. It seems like they're serving old fish that's been sitting in the fridge. I had to spit out my red snapper, which I paid $25 for--it was that bad. Truly a terrible experience.
google avatar

Kimberly A.

Yelp
Don't place your order online because the staff doesn't monitor their ordering system. The website said it would take 30-45 minutes for my order to be ready. When I arrived, the staff asked me several times if I'd already placed my order (I had a text confirming the pick-up time), and then I was told that the order hadn't even been put in. "It will only take 10 minutes" turned into 22. They could have at least offered a beverage for the mess-up and inconvenience... I really want to like this place, but it's always something. One nice waitress came up to me at the end and offered me a beverage after seeing me waiting for a while. She was genuine and apologized and politely asked me to come back. Apparently she's the only staff member who understands customer service - and the only reason I would go back. What's worse is that the restaurant was practically empty. The manager just stood there doing nothing and didn't even bother to come and say anything.

Yelp
Our server (I can't remember her name unfortunately) was so good!!! She's a shorter light haired girl, if you see her just.. ask for her! Lol. Our cocktails were okay, not very flavorful but not bad (margarita and Moscow mule), the appetizer stole the show though. Had the salmon and kale bruschetta! I will literally go back just for this lol. The 3 stars is for the main courses unfortunately:( (would give 3.5 if possible!) I got the chipotle stuffed chicken and the sauce was just... not good. It was thin and watery and tasted sweet instead of spicy. The cook of the chicken and broccolini were great! But the mashed potatoes were very salty. My friend had the maple glazed salmon and the closer she got to the center the less it was cooked and the less flavor it held. It was unfortunate because the outer sides of it were very good!! (I may have tried it, lol). Overall the service and apps made this a great experience. Otherwise I don't think we would come back. Maybe we'll just make this a cocktail and app place!

Yelp
This place is nestled between which seems to be a commercial building or some apartments. A small spot right on the corner. I went here for a Saturday brunch around 10:30am. No crowd whatsoever. We got to sit in a booth looking the bar & kitchen. Service was ok, not great bit not bad either. It was weird because we were given a dinner and a brunch menu at 10:30 in the morning. The shrimp & grits was not on the brunch menu but was on the dinner menu, so I ordered that. I feel bad because I had low expectations on their food but was pleasantly surprised how good my meal was. The sauce had a little kick to it which I didn't mind. Smooth creamy grits it was good! My niece had the avocado toast (she said it was basic) We both ordered a cocktail which their Moscow mule was refreshing and delicious! I had a martini which was quite strong just how I like it. I'd recommend this place for a nice quiet weekend brunch.

Yelp
This location is a-little hidden from the main street (Memorial Dr.) which makes for it to be slightly less busy than neighboring restaurants. The atmosphere here is immaculate! They have a great outdoor seating area and a big yard for the kids to play. The food never disappoints here, salmon is always a go-to. District 7 is great for any occasion, from a casual brunch to formal dinner!

Yelp
What an absolute joke of an establishment, and management. I did love my server though, he did everything correctly, went in for brunch, decided to try the filet, "medium rare" now I'm no grill master, nor am I a connoisseur, but this is 100% near RAW. I had no prior issues sending it back, until the manager came back acting full of himself, saying "You ordered medium rare! this is medium rare?" I'm not sure if he has taken any classes on hospitality, or general management, but horrible experience. In all my years of eating steak, filet especially, I've never felt more remorse for a cow than this, even worse that the manager on duty can't correct the issue without creating an argument to defend himself and acting like he's in the right until I SHOW him a picture of what medium is supposed to look like. Don't come here for steak, breakfast is also sub-par at best, many other better options in the area. I came into this establishment October 16th, roughly 12-1PM.

Yelp
The food here it's amazing, it's real good it's mostly seafood which is the best for people that love seafood. The service here it's very well, they treat you right which really is gonna make you feel like your home. The place is real reallllllll fancy it's amazing real great

Yelp
I found out about this place when I read somewhere about their Braised Beef Mac so I knew I had to go! It was everything I had hoped for! The beef was flavorful, melt in your mouth kind of stuff. The mac itself was rich and creamy. This place is located on the first floor of an office building. Very nice decor with an outdoor area as well. Corn hole was set up too! We sat inside and ordered some cocktails - highly recommend the Japanese Old Fashioned. We started with a nicely presented Charcuterie Board - perfect to share with a group of four with lots of variety. For our entrees, three in our group ordered variations of the burger special that came with jalapeno, poblano pepper and red pepper mixed in the meat, as well as on top. Was thinking it would be spicy but it wasn't at all. The brie cheese it was topped with definitely tamed down the heat. We will be returning soon!

Yelp
Love this little place ! Wings were amazing and so were mushroom balls! Drinks are always good and owner is super sweet and cute I've had other food there! Oysters have been great and think it's their spinach dip that's really good You just can't go wrong with whatever you order

Yelp
My son and I really enjoyed our meal here, the space it occupies, and the staff. That's a trifecta! The pizza is great, and we really enjoyed the charcuterie board. However, the charcuterie board was served on a pizza trey so I had to knock 1-star off for that. We will be back.

I'd driven past this cute little place a few times and last night I decided to dine in, sadly I can only give this business 3 stars and I'll tell y'all why I always say this when I leave a negative or mediocre review bc I truly hate leaving bad reviews but "if you don't LOVE hospitality get out of the industry" Earlier in the day I had eaten a big lunch with friends but my boyfriend was hungry and I asked if he finally wanted to try district 7 We arrive at 915, they close at 10-1030 I believe so it wasn't super busy And we decide to sit at the bar We look over the menu everything read as if it were going to be amazing, I settle on white wine and east coast oysters and my boyfriends gets a pinot noir and a meats pizza Pizza definitely gets 4 stars it was super good But as far as my experience at the bar and my oysters I definitely felt ripped off by this business So the bartender (was way too "homie like" definitely wasn't as professional as I'd like (I'm also a bartender so this is why I'm saying this) but honestly just had a lack of knowledge and didn't seem to care about informing us on much So to my oysters, I am an oyster connoisseur literally I eat them atleast 3 times a week and I love love love trying oysters from all over the world ( Margeauxs, and my job liberty kitchen have a phenomenal selection) also being from New Orleans I know a gulf oyster when I eat it and I just don't care for the flavor anymore in my adulthood So I ask the bartender what's the name of these oysters and where are they from? Because I like to look up the flavor profiles, she didn't know and then wasn't proactive in seeking the knowledge so I asked her can you find out for me ? She comes back and only says they're from Rhode Island, so I'm guessing their oyster crates aren't labeled Then when I get my oysters they're huge gulf oysters and I didn't complain I just paid and tipped 20 percent but if I had been the bartender that night I would have gotten my manager brought out the proper oysters and apologized, I just truly felt like the bartender didn't give an f about my experience, I expressed to her after only eating 2 oysters that from the shell and flavor I can tell they're gulf oysters and she says "honestly the lady in the back doesn't read that well, she just heard oysters and put whatever" ..and you think that's appropriate to tel a patron? Why am I paying east coast oyster price for gulf oysters and if that's the case why not atleast recharge me for gulf oysters..needless to say I will not be returning but I sure would have loved to try that paella Good luck to this business

Yelp
Great neighborhood spot! Good breakfast food and strong mimosas. Nice patio and ambience indoors. Just wish food was warmer when it came out. I would definitely come back.

Yelp
Came here for Sunday brunch with my husband, and we were not disappointed. The food was excellent! Everything tasted soooo good! I had the Big Breakfast and subbed my pancakes with French toast, and my hubs had the chicken and waffles. We also got the mimosa flight, in all the flavors, and each one was delicious. Definitely coming back here, especially since it's close by

Yelp
Went here with a coworker and neither one of us are from Texas. Found it off yelp. Split a couple of small plates to start. we got the wings and Brussel sprouts. Both were good but highly recommend the Brussel sprouts. For entrees we got the ratatouille and the ossoa bucca. Both were very different but equally incredible. Drinks wise I got one of the tequila drinks and a glass of wine. Wish I remembered the name because it was very refreshing. He got the old fashion and a beer. Overall good food and drinks and a very relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Yelp
I went in when I got to work because I was hungry. I ask for coffee and gumbo. Total $14 bucks for this. This place is a little pricey for the small portion they serve. I only go when I'm hungry. The staff is very friendly and nice. Some of the shrimp in the gumbo is not deveined. No good for me. I still would recommend this business.

Yelp
This place was promising back when Oil and Gas was still cool. The office building it's embedded in was packed and it was a little hidden gem that people coming off Terry Hersey trail, people from the office and apartment buildings could come to for food and drinks. It's now mostly supported by the nearby residents left over after the collapse of oil and gas so its not usually very busy if anyone is here at all. Its a nice modern restaurant and the food here is pretty decent IMO. They have a full bar including a couple craft beer options. The oysters remain a good value IMO esp compared to a lot of other places. With the area being dead however it's just kind of an awkard place. I think if you're in the area and this option pops up on your search, you should give it a try. I wouldn't make a special trip for it. Hang on to your receipt though because right after I heard about tip padding here, it happened to me. I wouldn't let that discourage you though, just be aware. Best time to come is b/w 4-7pm IMO.

Yelp
We got the Shrimp and Grits, and the Charcuterie board. The grits were wonderful and as you can see, the Charcuterie board was very pleasing. Now, on the the nitty gritty. So when my gf and I got there we noticed that it was crowded outside. At first we were a but sad, but that turned around as soon as we walked inside. It was totally empty and the decor was clean and beautiful. The wait staff were amazing and one masked superhero of a server was kind enough to take a picture of my gf and I. They all had great attitudes, which made our dinner even better. Thank you District 7 for an amazing evening.

Yelp
We live within walking distance of this restaurant and love having it so nearby. We recommend getting pizza during their happy hour - $11 for a 12inch pizza. Our faves are the Margherita and Bison Buffalo. Love the beer selection. Beautiful ivy covered outdoor seating and view of Terry Hershey park.

Yelp
We found this nice little restaurant today. The service was good, the food was very flavorful. I had the Osso Buco, but I have to say the Risotto was kind of a let down, it wasn't cooked all of the way. My wife's Braised Beef with Mac N Cheese was very tasty, the beef was very tender. Both deserts good. The drinks, very good, never had a godfather before, you gotta try it!

Yelp
The food was amazing. Tasted great and was very reasonably priced! My partner lives by their Mac and Cheese. Now the service, that was where they excel. The service was unmatched to any restaurant in the local area. The server was nice and completely on top of her game. My order initially came out wrong but they corrected it as quickly as possible. The restaurant is beautiful with bright whites and modern design. Would definitely recommend.

Yelp
First off, I think our server was great. But the food wasn't that great in my opinion. It was either too salty or bland. Perhaps it was what we ordered. Again service was good but I wouldn't come back for brunch.

Yelp
Date night. Our bartender was super nice. Our first time here. The ambience and decor was romantic. There is an outside patio for dining as well. Its a tucked away spot off of Memorial.

Yelp
Had the Paella last night. Within 8 hours I regretted it... haven't been able to eat solids for 24 hours now. I wouldn't wish this upon anyone. I knew that seafood tasted funny. I've had this dish a number of times in the past with never any issues. Something about it just tasted 'off' last night.. but now I understand why.
