"Set at 15375 Memorial Drive in West Memorial Place, the newly opened District 7 quietly debuted last week and presents a patio-forward option for happy hour or brunch. Run by wife-and-husband duo Shelley and Babak Ellham—who also operate District Tacos and Pizzas, District 7 Grill, and Cellar—it features a large outdoor patio with views of neighboring Terry Hershey Park, plus smoothies and quick eats for area workers and residents. Open for lunch, brunch, and dinner, the menu leans toward crowd-pleasers such as paella, pizzas, burgers, and braised beef short ribs; brunch brings gravy-slathered chicken and waffles, omelets, pork steak and eggs, and lighter plates like a "breakfast salad" or a bunless burger topped with a fried egg, alongside boozy staples like mimosas and Bloody Marys. I expect the happy hour to be seriously hopping given specials like $5 beers, $6 margaritas, and $10 pizzas; hours are 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday–Wednesday, 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Thursday–Saturday, and brunch Sundays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. with dinner until 10 p.m." - Amy McCarthy
