The 23 Best Brunches In London

"We would happily spend all day at this bright coffee shop near Battersea Park, working our way through their Aussie-inspired breakfast dishes—sweet potato hash or the smoked salmon sourdough—before dipping into a refreshing açaí bowl. It’s pretty spacious, and the high stools are a good place to people-watch while nibbling on a rich dark chocolate and rye cookie. Or sit outside to make the most of the heavy paw-fall." - jake missing, rianne shlebak, sinead cranna

The 9 Best Cookies In London

"Cookie of choice: dark chocolate rye Warning: you may have a serious case of chocolate teeth after a bite of this Battersea cafe’s cookie. This one is for the triple chocolate lovers. It’s a cocoa-rich cookie that tastes like a fudgy brownie-cookie hybrid, with a lovely balance of sweetness and bitterness from the dark chocolate and salt flakes sprinkled on top. It’s great with coffee, which is perfect because we’re big fans of the brews at this spot. " - rianne shlebak, sinead cranna, heidi lauth beasley, jake missing, daisy meager

District - Battersea Park Review - Battersea - London - The Infatuation

"This bright coffee shop near Battersea Park is the kind that makes us wish we were a freelancer (with a trust fund to lean on). Because then we’d get to spend all day at District, working our way through their Aussie-inspired breakfast dishes—get the sweet potato hash or the smoked salmon sourdough—before dipping into a refreshing açaí bowl while refreshing emails. It’s a spacious, minimal spot with high stools perfect for people-watching while nibbling on a rich dark chocolate and rye cookie, low tables ideal for whipping out a laptop or sharing a plate of avocado toast, and a couple of outdoor tables to really make the most of the heavy paw-fall. photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch Food Rundown Sweet Potato Hash This is the kind of light breakfast that we’d get our private chef to make us if we could afford one. Healthy, simple, yet deeply satisfying. Chunks of soft sweet potato, fried eggs, and seasoned avocado on a bed of spinach. Oh, and don’t forget the aioli—it’s extra, but worth it. photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch Dark Chocolate Rye Cookie Is it a cookie? Is it a brownie? This rich, soft, dark chocolate cookie is heavy on the cocoa, and we like it." - Rianne Shlebak

Best experience I have had in a coffee shop in a while. The food was amazing and the drinks recommendations made by Mia were perfect for me and my date. She also made me the best Margarita I had in London so far. So, yeah I can say this experience has elevated my standards for other places now. Thank you to the staff but especially to the nicest girl working there (Mia).

We had coffee from here in the weekend and the coffee was amazing. We had flat white and Mocha and both were so good. Tried their banana bread which was nice too. Checked their menu as well and it looks like they have a good food choices so can’t wait to try them next time. Food portion looked great on table. Customer service was okay and needs a little improvement.

This cafe was a great work spot. Great atmosphere and comfortable seating. The matcha latte I ordered was very good! The decor was super cute and the vibes inside were great. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a cute spot here the park.

The truffle scrambled eggs with a croissant is nice. The cafe is located a bit outside of the busy area in London. It‘s nice and quiet for reading.

Came here for brunch and a coffee. The coffees are really amazing. Also, the brunch was delicious. Love this Cafe. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, prices are very reasonable and it seems super popular. Will definitely be coming back here and highly recommend.

The coffee was incredible! The pastry (spinach & feta) roll/croissant also wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t great either - just wasn’t super crispy and was a bit light on the fillings. But the star of the show is the coffee for sure, and I’d be more than happy to come back anytime!

I have now eaten at District Battersea Park three times since it opened a week ago, plus had coffee there literally every day. The staff are lovely, friendly and skilled. The food (I have had three different things from the menu so far) has been truly delicious, healthy and generously portioned. I received excellent recommendations from the manager Frances, who was super helpful. This is the cafe / wine bar this area has needed. Great atmosphere, a pleasure every time I visit, and not overpriced either. Keep up the good work.
