So I had a Sangria which was perfectly mixed for my drink. It was fruity delicious "creeper" Of a drink. I definitely would order it again. As for food we ordered the grilled salmon which can with the perfect blend of fresh and delicious vegetables that had a splash of vinegar. The salmon had the perfect crisp to it and in every bite there was so much avocado chunks. Our waiter checked on us multiple times which made us feel like our comfort was a priority. The ambiance was also very relaxing and easy on the eyes. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone looking for great food, ambiance and drinks.

My girlfriends and I had a gathering to see each other, and someone from the group decided on this location. They open at 4, so it great for after-work. The decor of the location was great. I got there early, so I sat at the bar. The bartender was amazing and pleasant. Once the group gathered, we were seated. When you are seated, you don't need to wait on tje waiters. You download their app, and you order from your phone. It gave me a little airport style of service. The atmosphere was great with a diverse crowd.

Cute little neighborhood restaurant with great food. I knew the place had a great location. What I did not expect was how friendly and helpful the staff would be. Luckily for us - we found this District Local and what an experience! Good energy across the board. It lives up to the hype. The food variety, prices, and customer service is amazing here! The food is amazing. It was unbelievable. Wow Wow and WOW! Great central location, top-notch service. Service was great and I will definitely be back the next time. District Local is one of my favorite restaurants not only for quality of food but for the excellent service. 100 % satisfaction! If it's good enough for me, it's good enough for me. This place is awesome on NFL Sundays! A large collection of TVs and football fans of various teams. I liked that it had variety because it never got too rowdy over one particular game. Felt like everyone could enjoy their games but also cheer for other teams in that setting. Lindsey our bartender was so speedy and friendly, which made the experience even better! Looking forward to watching more games here.

Went on Monday for trivia and had a great time! Great service, fun atmosphere, will definitely go again. Had beers, cocktails, and food. Recommend the nachos and the burger.

Bar staff very friendly and easy going. The guacamole and chips is great, deviled eggs also amazing. Great choice of beers and cocktails.

A tip was stolen from me. I want it back. Please contact me to issue a refund. You don’t get to take the tip credit and pay your employees below the minimum wage and also treat your establishment like a McDonalds and make me order from a screen. I didn’t agree to a tip, I wasn’t informed about an added gratuity, it was stolen and I want it back.

Great sports bar with plenty of seating, drink options and food options. Servers were friendly and drinks came out quickly. Tons of TVs throughout.

Really great sports bar is west village! We came here to watch the Berkeley vs David game and had a great time. There were a lot of cal fans and the atmosphere was very lively. We had a few drinks and generally the staff was friendly and proactive. It does get a little loud so definitely not the place if you want to have a conversation with someone.

This place is great because of our amazing server Lillia. She was super attentive, sweet, and really knew what to recommend. Her customer service is top tier. When I visit restaurants, the food is important but nothing trumps the customer service. I can't wait to come back when she's here. When I come back, I'll have pics of the food. We ate on this current visit and the food was AMAZING but I needed to sing praise for Lillia.

So far my server/ bartender has asked me to pay my bill prior to receiving my bill. I'm a construction worker in New York City. In tethered and dirty clothes just to give you substance. I have money and I paid my bill. I am hungry and wanted to eat hut didn't like his attitude nor did I like his constant ask if I was finish and I wanted to leave or close my tab. His name is Miguel. Food was decent but could've been better because service was trash

Beware: this establishment operates via QR code ordering (see also: no server), but adds a gratuity to your check. When requesting a word with a manager, we were informed that one 'was not on the premises.' Why should someone leave a gratuity when there is no service? This bar is shady, at best.

It's wild that the only way to open a tab and pay at a table is Apple Pay. It's even more wild when an employee says we are paperless, that's what we do. But the kicker is when a 20% gratuity is added without warning me or me making the choice. I work in the industry. Why should I tip 20% for no service. That was money stolen from me. Overall a really subpar experience.

Great local bar. It was busy but we had great service. The server suggested spicy honey mustard wings. They were great. I also enjoyed the parmesan fries. Solid beers.

These NYC restaurants now seem like they're complaining to Yelp when they get bad reviews, and then Yelp is actually removing reviews when restaurants complain. What kind of BS is that??? Why even have reviews if you just remove the bad ones without even attempting to verify the experience??? In any case, I've been to this particular establishment twice now, when my favorite bar (Motel Morris) was too busy. And guess what- it sucked both times. I love martinis but only if made well. On both occasions I got bad martinis here. The bar food isn't bad- but it's small, not memorable, and expensive. So it's a bad replacement for Motel morris, with bad drinks, and expensive food. I hope this is enough detail so Yelp will stop removing my reviews and pissing me off.

Been many times! Great space! Really took care of us for pride this year! Food is great and the long bar makes getting a seat reasonable. Good bathrooms too! Architecturally it's a finished product which makes me happy!

Really nice bar! We came here for one drink on a Friday night, and had a great experience. Both of us ordered from the cocktail menu, and tried their cucumber gimlet (tart but really good) and cranberry mule (delicious). Our waitress was fantastic and even brought out some treats for my dog. I feel like this spot would be great for happy hour - ample indoor and outdoor seating, friendly staff, and generally a great vibe!

This place has officially the best burger & fries I have ever eaten in NYC. The decor inside is super sheek, staff, food, & drinks are on point. You must try these burger & fries!!! Quite literally absolute perfection.

Wanted a local place to get a drink and snack before a show and this was perfect. Food was delicious and loved that locals frequent the bar. We got the shrimp flatbread, brussel sprouts, goat cheese croquettes & wings. We were excited about beer selection, but they didn't taste very good, probably something wrong with CO2 tap so bartender comped the beer and differed to canned beer.

TIANA was my first point of contact in the hotel and indeed NYC , AND I HAD LOST MY WALLET She politely and lovingly made it all so easy through the chaos IT WAS GIVING ME ANXIETY TRYING TO FIGURE OUT HOW I WAS GOING TO BE ABLE TO GET MY VIRTUAL CARDS AND EVERYTHING ELSE THROUGH , AND GET TO MY ROOM I Am an Author and hairstylist and this beautiful young woman fixed everything even though it was a hard fix And she did it With Class humour humility professionalism And sincerity So to the hotel and establishment This young lady went above and beyond me expectations and all the while was answering phones and talking to other guests and complimenting them and still kept eye contact and smiled Yes That's Tiana

***Pre-COVID*** Came to grab some post-work bites with a couple friends. A lot of places on a Friday evening at 7 pm don't have space anymore, but District Local was able to seat us immediately. Prices were a little high, even with the HH specials. We tried the deviled egg (pretty standard, nothing special); the hanger steak (the charred asparagus on the side was so goooood), and the bacon pintxos (honestly probably the most interesting dish, however to the newb I am, it really just tasted like fried mashed potatoes...). Probably won't be back given how expensive it was for very little food and drink.

What a nice surprise! Tried this new place , very impressed with the food and excellent service. We ordered four small plates : grilled broccoli, beet salad, hen of the wood and seared pancetta, and a dessert: chocolate pot de creme. All was so delicious!! Great place for quick healthy bites with a date and hanging with friends. Would definitely come back!

Super delicious food, great service, awesome screens for sports. Will be back often! What a great new addition to Chelsea. The Brussel Spouts, meatballs and shrimps and chorizos are INSANELY delicious.

Great atmosphere, never too packed, ton of TVs for games, upscale finishes for a bar, great beer selection, etc. One of the best bars to get a casual drink or watch a game in a non-rowdy environment.

Great spot! Nice service. Ate dinner with a buddy there, we split the humus which was amazing. Also split some fries which were fine. I had the tacos which were amazing (had the steak). Lot of TVs and a good spot to watch sports

I've been here twice in two weeks for happy hour -- definitely a new favorite spot in Chelsea! The HH specials are great, with two delicious cocktails, some really tasty beers, and some wines I haven't gotten around to just yet. Cozy vibe inside that gets lively around 7, and they have doors that open up at the front in nice weather. Also, Stephanie is the greatest!

The bartenders are great. The decor is great. When you bring in at least 5 people on a Sunday afternoon to watch the finals of a basketball tournament with one of the best college players, you don't let 1 guy who complains about wanting music convince you to turn the game volume off, but that is what the bald "manager" did. Clearly doesn't understand that 5 is more than 1 from a revenue perspective. We won't be going back again.

The best draft beer selection in Chelsea, especially if you're an IPA fan, and spectacular ambiance. A true neighborhood bar. Always friendly service and while we haven't eaten here (yet), the food menu looks delicious! Awesome variety of sports/media on the televisions, something for everyone!

"A restaurant!" I exclaimed to myself -- using my inner voice, lest I appear schizophrenic. District Local had literally just opened their doors for the first time when I happened by. I was absolutely stunned that there could be a new neighborhood establishment that was not a nail salon, bank, or cellular phone store. I approached the hostess who confirmed that it was, in fact, a new restaurant. She handed me a menu which I mostly pretended to read, because I'm in denial about my fading eyesight and refuse to bring my glasses along with me. Tapas I was told. And lots and lots of beers. I told them I would return with my wife, which is exactly what I did. The place is gorgeous. Very tastefully done. Warm, dark, long bar with TVs that I'd watch soccer matches on if I cared about soccer. We sat at a table which must have been comfortable because 75% of the time I bitch about the chair I'm sitting in. Without glasses, I squinted at the menu while my wife ordered a variety of items for us to try. The beer menu was amazing, like my eyesight used to be. I asked the waiter to recommend an IPA. And eventually four. I went for ones with clever names, ABV be damned. The food arrived as the kitchen prepared it. Fava Beans, excellent. Foie Mousse, phenomenal. Hen of the Woods, delightful. Grilled broccoli, stellar. Naturally, I had to wait for each dish to be painstakingly photographed by my wife, yet another cursed food blogger. The Brussels sprouts were outrageous. My wife said they reminded her of Alta, a favorite tapas place of ours. We later learned that's where the chef hails from. We were too full to pursue the bigger dishes, but there's a short rib I'd like to try. And octopus. And a lot of beers. For an opening night the service was spot-on. Wonderful addition to the neighborhood. I will be back, and I might even bring my glasses.

If you find better wings in the Chelsea/West Village area, please slide into my DMs and educate me immediately. District Local's wings are big, cooked perfectly and very flavorful; love the BBQ. Moreover their tacos are also very solid, and we love the Naked and Famous cocktail (it has mezcal and aperol). Definitely a great place to watch a game. Suggestion: carry more sour beers.

A friend noticed that this place had just opened a couple of weeks ago. After checking out the menu, we knew we wanted to try it. Boy are we glad we did!! If you're trying to find it, you may walk right past. It's just south of Starbucks and very discreet in its signage. There was a well dressed gentleman on the sidewalk in front of the door welcoming people in. Nice touch!! We had a 7pm reservation and the host took us right to the table. Note that the bar was hopping at that time and it was extremely loud. We worried that the noise would make conversation difficult. Thankfully where our table was, there was a wood wall that absorbed the sound from the bar area . The server was very friendly and helpful. She knew her stuff and helped guide us on the number of small plates to order (we got 7 different things for 2 people). All of the things we ate were so tasty! The short rib tajine and the brussels sprouts were my 2 faves. Kudos to the chef and the staff for putting out a great meal so early on in the life of his place. We will DEFINITELY be back with more friends. When I left, I told the guy at the door that "everyone needs to eat here". Do yourself the favor and GO!

This neighborhood has needed a low-key bar that is not a dive or decorated with yard sale oil paintings. I'm also partial to establishments that aren't as loud as a club I'd never go to. Furthermore, I want to be able to make a plan to meet a friend or take a guest without stressing over getting a table or fighting a crowd. With these lofty requirements (lofty in Chelsea anyway), I was all about dropping in to check out the goings-on here. My friend and I came by on a Thursday during happy hour. Happy hour prices are only at the bar, but we sat at one of the maybe five hightop tables anyway. We're too old to trouble ourselves with 90 degree neck turning. Anyway. At the time we were there, probably around 6 or 6:30, the place was delightfully (for us) not crowded and pretty quiet. Service was lovely, drinks were just fine and we left happy. Last night I walked by at 11pm and it looked pretty raucous in there, however. Young trendy crowd.

Came here for brunch on Sunday with my friends. The loaded bloody marys are insane, it's like a meal in a glass! Had shakshuka and side sausage for my meal, delicious! The bartender, Stephanie, was really nice and accommodating. Will definitely come back for dinner cause the menu looks so good!

I am blown away! This place is absolutely gorgeous! They got every detail right. It's comfortable and sexy simultaneously. The cocktail program is no joke and the food is really awesome. We had the short rib tagine, brussels sprouts, goat cheese, and kale salad. Each one was super tasty and well put together. I can't explain what the feeling is at this new Chelsea spot but it's right on. I cannot wait to come back. I'm bringing everyone I know here. Bravo to the folks with this vision!

We went out of our way to enjoy a pre-theater meal at District Local, and we were not disappointed. The after-work crowd was thick but the layout is spacious enough that it didn't seem crowded. The decor is warmly-lit and cozy with some contemporary industrial touches. Some of the standout plates are the beef carpaccio, beet salad, Brussels sprouts, and (my personal favorite) a crispy, deeply satisfying duck confit. The ingredients were precise and bright. I look forward to devouring more of their offerings as soon as I can.

Orlando is the best server ever! He literally got us every beer in the world and then even helped us out with some very extraordinary requests. Also, the beer selection was amazing, especially the Torch & Please Advise. Highly recommended. Overall, 10/10, will return.

I really enjoyed this place. Went out for drinks and dinner and this place came up. It was late so most places were closed but they weren't. The food was good to for a spot we just happened upon. As an appetizers we started with the grilled broccoli preserved lemon chimichurri, which was by far our most favorite part of the evening, sounds odd but makes for a great pairing. We each got a hanger steak which was well cooked and quite delicious, a bit on the small side but for 15 dollars quite reasonable. Would recommend the grilled broccoli for sure.

Very lovely tapas bar in the west village with signature drinks with a very large selection of beer on taps as well as large selection of bottle beer and wine list. The food is fresh and seasonal and very tasty. The host Cordera was friendly and accommodating Our waitress Sara was extremely friendly and helpful as well as attentive to our needs.

Bathroom is very clean considering this is New York , I was very pleased to see the bathroom and a quick peek at the kitchen was clean

Didn't expect it but, District Local was definitely phenomenal. Very good value for the money. Everything was fresh, flavorsome, and extremely delicious. All of the staff are super polite - you most certainly feel welcome and looked after. So impressed, can not wait to go back to District Local.

I wrote an entire reason why I won't come back here but deleted it because it's a relatively new place and I don't want to talk poorly if there still working out how to run their business... but they should figure their shit out if they want to retain customers... once thing after another with poor management and service... message me if you want details...

This sexy little place is the new place to be in Chelsea. Only opened this week, this tapas restaurant is fantastic. If you want great drinks, amazing food, and an intimate vibe, check out District Local. The Duck Confit, and Foie Mousse are amazing. The oysters and short ribs tagine are marvelous. Finished off with Brown Sugar Raspberry ice cream was a lovely evening. Our server Casey was Friendly, attentive, and Charming. Love this New Place!!!!! Will definitely be back!!

We decided to go out for dinner last minute on a Friday night, and this place was one of the few in the areas still available for reservation. We expected a mediocre dining experience given that the place is more like a bar than a restaurant. But it turned out to be fantastic! We got seated in the inside area separated from the bar, so it was quieter and more private. We ordered a spinach salad with salmon, lamb sliders, grilled shrimp and chorizo, and chicken sandwich - all tasted delicious! The servers were warm and attentive. Don't dismiss this place just because you are not looking for a drink. They have real food! Try dining with them, and you won't regret it.

Great neighborhood bar restaurant. Stumbled upon this place looking for a drink and a bathroom after a long walk. So glad it found us. Lindsey and Olivia were instant new friends. So fun and welcoming to us out of towners! We stayed for many (too many?) delicious drinks. Lindsey will give you an education on tequila. Met several regulars who were equally open and engaging as Olivia and Lindsey. Can't recommend this place highly enough. Can't wait to visit again!!

Discovered this place last night and boy am I glad I did!!! The food, service, and vibe were all perfect! Specifically, I can't stress enough how every dish we ordered was amazing. The brussels are unreal, sitting in some sauce that was just delicious. The steak was paired with a purée that was bursting with flavor. I can go on but we ordered so many things and everything was delicious. Will be back!
