District One

Just got these shoes in the mail today. I thought it was worth the price I paid, I’m a size 12 so my size in shoes goes really fast in regular retail. But now it doesn’t seem worth it considering the bottom of one is really dirty and really creased too. A bit too worn for my liking for me to pay over $250 plus tax. I prefer my shoes in a more crisp condition, so next time I’ll just go to Flight Club or Stadium Goods and pay the premium

I’ve known about District One since they had just one spot. I’ve sold a few pairs of sneakers there and always got treated fairly, so checking out their second location was a must. The new store is clean, with a nice layout and a solid selection. Ayanah made the whole process easy and was super helpful. Both locations are worth visiting if you’re into sneakers.

I first heard about District One when they had just one store through friends who sold used sneakers to them—I always heard great things! So when it came time for me to buy new kicks, choosing District One was a no-brainer. I absolutely love the new store’s aesthetic and their wide variety of sneakers. The customer service was excellent—Mell was friendly, attentive, and made my shopping experience enjoyable. I’ll definitely be back again!

Not a happy buyer. I placed an online order first thing in the morning. Everything went through on my end. 8.5 hours later, I get an email saying they canceled my order because the item is out of stock. Who does that? I am assuming they sold the sneakers in person for more money and said screw you to the person who purchased the shoes at 7 a.m. before the store opened. It's sad because I purchased with them via eBay in the past with no problems. Terrible way to do business! Very shady!

I love District 1 they always got the hottest selection and great prices. Only place you could get a pair of Jordan’s for under 100$ used and new for under retail. If you need cash because times are rough you could sell your sneakers to them. They usually have a lot of steals and their employees are really awesome.. Cash is dope,Ayana is dope good people also Albvin and John too are good people!!!

Beware when ordering from District One NY. I recently purchased Jordan 3's from them on E-Bay. Since the elephant print is unique on each Jordan 3 shoe (where are my sneakerheads!), it was easy to see that the pair they sent me were not the pair that were in the pictures. The pair I received had scuff marks, more glue, creases ..etc., it was clearly in worse shape. I reached out to notify them of the issue and to see if it was just a mix-up on 12/30. I followed up again 1/3. Still no response as of today 1/9. Since they refused to respond, I left negative feedback on E-bay. And they had the feedback removed! Due to a technicality with E-Bay's rules, negative feedback can be removed if the shoes pass validation. They were real Jordans, just not the pair I ordered.... They ghosted an honest customer and then removed the negative feedback, so clearly they have no integrity.

This is the place, smooth and easy online transactions. 100% transparency and reliability and also quick responses and help. Got a pair of air max silver bullets from them and I can't be more content!!!

Store has gone down massively in the last few months. They used to offer good prices but ever since they opened their second store right across the street, their prices have suffered. Took in a bunch of pairs recently and they were offering me 40% below StockX payout which is crazy and along with that they had a fair bit of attitude too. If you are looking to pick up some shoes then it's still not a bad spot but definitely not worth your time if you are looking to sell.
