"A stone’s throw from Microsoft’s Redmond campus, this upscale Vietnamese restaurant is run by the daughter of the owner of beloved Huong Binh. The food here is also finely crafted, with standout dishes including cha ca la vong (turmeric fish with dill and a great shrimp paste-based sauce), banh khot (turmeric mini-pancakes), mieng tom (glass noodle, shrimp, and pork belly claypot), and coconut shrimp ceviche." - Jay Friedman

I think if you’re new to Viet food, this place wouldn’t be a bad place to start. However, as someone who knows her viet food, this place was pretty mid. I got the spring n egg rolls to let my boyfriend try them and both were very disappointing in taste and size (like only 2 or 3 small pieces???). I would’ve been better off eating an actual dish because then it wouldn’t have felt I wasted money. The pho my bf got was good but I felt like the broth could’ve been more flavorful. My friends said the com tam and bun Bo hue (not pictured) were good though. Again, not a horrible place to eat Viet food. Just interesting how for a place located in an Asian center, the food does not seem high quality.

Google
I knew this place when they just open, but did not try because I thought this location , the food can be not authentic vietnames.. . But I am wrong, the food really authentic vietnames.....I order hú tiếu gỏ nước, my husband ate bún chả Hà Nội, my son order phở,....bột chiên....I will come back to try more ....

Google
Very good vietnamese food! I dont understand why it’s not as busy as other restaurants. As a Vietnamese, tastes pretty authentic to me except the banh beo. Grilled chicken was flavorful and steam rice roll was delish. The fish sauce is a bit diluted, so it’s not as flavorful.

We had such a great time discovering rare dishes not served at other Viet restaurants! Let me tell you, their springs rolls are special and different from other Viet restaurants too. We got the set of 6. My kid had the Grilled Pork Banh Mi and she loved it. We also ordered the stewed beef rice noodles and it was pretty good. My other fav was Pork & Shrimp Banh Xéo. I enjoyed adding fresh mint leaves and this other leaf to it. Interesting leaf... it tasted like shrimp and fish, so it actually gave the fish sauce another dimension. Omg, it was so good! I am coming back! Btw it's pretty good prices too. It was pretty expensive eating BCD across the parking lot.

Google
Great experience!! Fresh seafood, they had a lot of options for escargot, clams, oysters, and more! Fish sauce was sweet but not overly sweet which we preferred. Decorations were nice in the restaurant as well.

I'm amazed that that place is not packed because... THE FOOD IS GOOD REALLY GOOD, people should know about this place for real, The fry rice( combo rice) is delicious the "tom" I love it!! My daughter is really picky eating, but the "kids noodles" that they have she love it and eat the whole thing without even breathing every time. The owner is really nice and has an impressive history about his restaurant. We are on our way to eat there for our anniversary, Is a nice place to eat something fresh and tasty. UPDATED: The owner of the restaurant sang to us for our anniversary ❤️ was really romantic he even gave us a dessert to eat. I was surprised we really love this place a lot!

Google
Beautiful food. I took a dear friend here and I loved it. The food was amazing. The staff is friendly and enen the music was pleasant. My favorite was the BBQ skewers. I had several items that were my first time trying. I look forward to returning.

Google
District One Saigon Street Food offers authentic Vietnamese flavors with a fresh, crispy Bánh Mì and delicious squid pancakes. The sandwich had savory meats and fresh herbs, while the squid pancakes were crispy outside, tender inside, and perfectly complemented by fresh veggies and dipping sauce. We loved the bread so much we even brought some to have at home also. A great spot for Vietnamese street food lovers!

Yelp
FOOD Bánh Bột chiên- the bột is super crunchy and is well made. The sauce makes it taste super good. I usually only have this dish at home but this is definitely my go to for this dish. Super yummy! Banh Mi - my friend ate the sandwich and said it was good and flavorful. Only main comment was that there wasn't that much meat compared to the rest of the fillings. VIBES This place is located inside 99 Ranch Market as part of the larger food court. There is also some seating adjacent to the place designated for people who order from District One Saigon Street Food. It's a cute area decorated with Vietnamese conical hats and has some small cute tables with red chairs. SERVICE Pretty fast for everything to come out. You order at the kiosk and bring the receipt to the front. They were pretty nice but not too much interaction.

Yelp
Rounding up for this review... probably closer to 2.5 stars. banh trang tron - not bad but seemed like a common theme that they were cheap with the veggies pho - someone in our party ordered this and said it was salty, I'd prefer it to be salty than sweet though so that might be a good thing Banh bot chien - super thin and not crispy at all... as I'm writing this review and thinking of how the food was, I'm thinking about giving it a two star Banh khot - ehh below average Bun cha - not bad, very little veggies that came with the dish

Yelp
Before District One Saigon Street Food had opened, I had tried it back when it was just a food truck in Garland. Ever since they opened in Carrollton, all I've ever heard is that this place is super expensive. I've had their Sugar Cane Juice at this location, but that's it. I was craving a vermicelli bowl and I didn't want to drive too far, so I decided to try this restaurant. I ordered the C3. Bánh Xèo Tôm Thịt (Vietnamese Crispy Crepe with Shrimp and Pork), V5. Bún Gà Nướng Chả Giò (Vermicelli Bowl with Grilled Chicken and Egg Roll), DS12. Bánh Tráng Trộn (Vietnamese Rice Paper Salad), and N11. Nước Mía (Freshly Juiced Sugar Cane). Everything for to go. It was made in a good amount of time. I think what sets this restaurant apart from other Vietnamese restaurants is they have a much bigger variety than others. The fact that they have Vietnamese Crepes and Vietnamese Rice Paper Salad is amazing. I really enjoyed both of these particular dishes. The sugar cane juice is amazing as fell. I haven't been to Vietnam since prior to COVID, so eating three particular dishes made me miss Vietnam so much more and I can't wait to go back. The vermicelli bowl was the whole reason why I came here. Everything was really good, but I have to agree that everything is expensive and some things are more obviously overpriced than other dishes. Honestly, everything here is more expensive than other Vietnamese restaurants. However, they have unique dishes that others don't. I would like to say that I would come back for these particular and unique dishes, but this wouldn't be the first option I would recommend when it comes to the basic and common Vietnamese dishes.

Yelp
Service was all over the place. They took a long time to take our order, so we had to go the counter to order. Food came out pretty fast. It was okay, nothing special.
google avatar

Sunny Y.

Yelp
Space is on the smaller side so sitting can be tight if you are with a bigger crowd. Ordered pho, sugar cane and spring rolls. Was bummed that we saw there was a pho special after the fact and at that point we did not want to be complicated and change orders. If you're looking for something quick this place would do but make sure to look around at their posters/flyers if there are certain specials so you can get more bang for your buck.

Yelp
I finally went to District One, after seeing it in that strip mall for ages. With so many Vietnamese spot I frequent, I never got around to trying this place until now the higher price point for what you get is probably what held me back. During our initial visit, we ordered and shared "Bánh Khọt," finding them ok. My Rice Plate #2 was good. It wasn't outstanding, however. We concluded the meal with a dessert drink called "Suong Sa Hat Lu. It's one of our favorite. Despite the pleasant service and delightfully pleasant atmosphere, I remain undecided about the restaurant's overall value for the money. I may sample several menu items. I will try some more later.
google avatar

Vu N.

Yelp
This Vietnamese restaurant is located in a busy Carrollton strip mall. The Bánh Khọt, Suong Sa Hat Luu and pork chop plate tasted great, but were too expensive considering how much food you got. That thin, small pork chop was disappointing and its price was rather high. The dish had good flavors, but it was overpriced. The food is generally good, but I would likely try several other restaurants before returning.

Yelp
We ordered Chicken with rice and some noodles with pork, Shrimp rolls and ice tea, all looks good, tastes not as good as it looks. Many other Vietnamese restaurants do better. Services are needed big improvement. The servers are hardly walk to service at table. The atmosphere looks okay but it's all about services.

Yelp
Pretty great food. Price isn't too bad. Service is great too. If you're in the area, I definitely recommend trying it out. It's more of a street-food style Viet restaurant then the typical pho restaurant in every corner.

Yelp
Honestly i was here today and it took 15 mins just to get a diet coke? Seriously? Another thing is they burnt some of my food i bought but it was still good. Staff members are nice but i feel like yall can do better next time.

Yelp
Whenever I travel to the DFW area, I always choose a hotel near Asian restaurants. The interior is airy, clean, and has a charmingly quaint atmosphere. But how can you tell if a Vietnamese restaurant is authentic? Well, for starters, you walk in and they greet you with a big glass of water. Your food arrives quickly, and they make sure to check on you when it's time for the check. LOL! Honestly, this level of service is quite familiar to us Asians, so it feels perfectly normal. I ordered the Banh Xeo and Banh Cuon, and I have to say, it's hands down the best I've had in Texas!
google avatar

Melody V.

Yelp
The Bo Ne (sizzling beef plate) and banh beo were my favorite! We also got sugar cane juice, the grilled clams, and the banh cuon. They had a big selection of items and everything was good. If you're new to eating Vietnamese food I would suggest going with the Bo Ne. It's sizzling beef with a sunny side up egg, and a banh mi on the side. Service here is the same as you would expect in any pho restaurant so be prepared to flag the waiter down if you need the check, water, or anything thing. Overall, this was a great casual spot and we'll definitely be back.
google avatar

Suki Z.

Yelp
Did you know that it was possible to order a mini bowl of pho? I sure didn't! The menu here was extremely vast and there were so many things I wanted to try out. Our server saw our struggle and told us that it was possible to order a mini version of any of the pho plates for half the price. Even though it was a "mini" version of the pho order, the amount of beef they put was definitely not mini!! Their pork and shrimp ban xeo was very crispy and paired with the sauce and the lettuce We asked for extra lettuce since neither of us were big on the other greens that normally comes with the order. The pancake included thin slices of pork, some noodles, bean sprouts, and only a small amount of shrimp. We came on a Saturday night but thankfully there was no wait and we were able to pick a seat of our choosing.
google avatar

Yelp
A great vermicelli bowl. Lots of grilled pork and vegetables. Fast service. This place is located with several other Asian restaurants. A little hard to find in the center but worth it.
google avatar

Jamie T.

Yelp
Food was alright, very pricey for what it is. Very small portions, I wish it was tastier to justify the cost. Ambiance is okay, I liked the wall decorations. Service was average, it took forever to get them to come to us.
google avatar

Jimmy N.

Yelp
Very nice spot. The sugarcane drinks are so refreshing. Bun bo hue as lots of flavors, banh Beo portion is large, and pork chop rice dish is so tasty. Service is also excellent and bathroom is clean. I'm a new fan.
google avatar

Danny N.

Yelp
I loooooove the aesthetics of this location. The decor and the red definitely gives the authentic vietnamese setting to it. They had some nice music playing in the background as well. The menu was very extensive! We got the Pho bo, avocado smoothie, cafe sua da, and bun bo hue. All of the dishes were super good and came out hot. I appreciate that they have the good Sriracha sauce too lol. Overall, great spot to get some good vietnamese food! Service was really great too. Server hooked me up with the wifi.
google avatar

Kady L.

Yelp
Always saw my friend post about this place and never really made it over due to the location. I live in Dallas and this location is kinda far. Finally made it in. Got to try the corn dish which I thought was pretty unique and out of the ordinary. We also ordered banh uot with pork ham and that itself is always classic. Another main entree was the vietnamsese crepe. It was the right crisp! All in all, all the dishes we ordered were pretty tasty and good. The prices were reasonable too. For once it didn't feel like we broke the bank and was actually the opposite. The service was attentive. We were rushed a little to sign the check but thats fine. Its a casual spot and can be noisy depending the time of day.
google avatar

Stacy W.

Yelp
Ordered the Vietnamese coffee, banh mi and banh xeo. I enjoyed the banh xeo! Ends were super crispy and flavorful. Wish it came with more veggies as I love filling up with veggies in each bite! I didn't try the coffee but my boyfriend said that it was good and that it was sweet (as it should be!!) Banh mi - bread was crunchy but I wish there was more pate in it, could barely taste the butter and pate
google avatar

Cameron M.

Yelp
Not many places at all in DFW offer these types of Vietnamese street food that I miss from my time in Houston so I was very excited to give them a try. All of the dishes were not bad, but nothing really stood out. The consistency and flavors were not like I grace had at other places. Honestly at a different price point the food here would be good enough, but for the prices charged it is lacking. The restaurant was clean and the servers were attentive which was a positive.
google avatar

Melanie T.

Yelp
In the Carrollton area, there are lots of Korean restaurants but there's a lack of Vietnamese restaurants and this place satisfies that craving if you're not in the mood to drive out far for one. I like the interior of the restaurant with the lanterns hanging above. It smells quite good when you first walk in. The food was pretty good. I like the sugarcane drink and it's refreshing. The red rice chicken dish was delicious. The bún chả Hà Nội was also tasty. The only con was that the dishes were small proportions compared to what you order at other Vietnamese restaurants. It's quite pricey but you don't get a lot of food.

Yelp
Was craving a bowl of pho since it was rainy and cold when we were here & I found this place on Yelp. It looked promising & I've also seen one of my favorite influencers (gaming_foodie) eat here. We got 2 bowls of pho, banh bot loc, shrimp eggrolls & a bowl of rice. The food came out in a good amount of time & everything smelled good. However I did not like my pho whatsoever. I can't fully put my hand on why, it just didn't hit. The shrimp rolls were really crispy and good, the banh bot loc was also good. Service was good, they checked on us from time to time. The decor is pretty cool as well. Tons of parking since this plaza is huge.
google avatar

Yelp
We ordered from DoorDash The food is not bad but for the portion, it's a bit pricey. My husband ordered com bo luc lac and there was hardly any meat, making up for the price we paid. Secondly, I ordered bun dau mam tom... I found a small slug wandering around in my greens... Thirdly, my husband's dish has sauce and it spilled everywhere because it was a cheap to go box... I did like their che hat luu...
google avatar

Yelp
Being from southern california, we have vietnamese food everywhere and when my wife was craving pho and we were already in carrollton, we stopped by here to check it out. I like the decor inside, its very vibrant and modern. Service was okay, they were attentive and friendly. I did take a bit to get our food and it wasn't crowded but that's okay. I got pho, and my wife also ordered a few other items. The pho was okay, nothing too special to talk about. It had the big thick noodles and the broth was okay. Lots of pepper & cilantro included in our bowls. The shrimp eggrolls we got were really good. My wife also got some sort of shrimp dumping and she really liked it. I would say the prices were kind of high considering the portions that we got. Most likely wouldn't come back since there are other vietnamese places we'd like to check out
google avatar

Shannon T.

Yelp
District one has pretty good vietnamese food in the Carrollton area! For appetizers, we got the chinese sausage spring roll, which were smaller than expected but did taste pretty good with the peanut sauce! We also got the banh cuon dac biet, which was delicious with all the different types of meats and the fish sauce - would get this again! I love dry hu tieu, so that was my main dish, and it was a smaller portion than I expected but did fill me up for lunch! My friend got the pork over rice, and the pork was delicious with a nice char to it! And my other friend got the chicken with tomato rice, which also tasted pretty good. Not the best vietnamese food I've had but would definitely return if craving viet food in Carrollton!
google avatar

Paula C.

Yelp
I love spring rolls and the spot has the option for me to roll my own! And I loved it! Food came out fast. Reasonably priced. Love it and will be coming back.
google avatar

Helen L.

Yelp
This place exceeded my expectations for Vietnamese food. The food tasted great, I just wish their pickled vegetables were more pickled and their fish sauce could be more fishier/spicier. Everything tasted great overall I would definitely come back and try different Vietnamese dishes next time.

Yelp
2.5 -- I was excited to find a place that had some of my Viet favorites all in one place, but found the quality lacking compared to the price. I ordered for pickup and it was ready 30 min earlier than scheduled. I didn't realize it was in the 99 Ranch Carrollton plaza, which is always packed on weekends, so it was difficult to even find parking just to grab and go. I got the Banh Khot with Shrimp, Banh Beo Khay, and Banh Bot Loc with Pork/Shrimp. I thought it was quite pricy for what it was. The nuoc mam that came with each dish was on the bland side. The shrimp in the Banh Khot is shell-on, FYI. It's also very thick and not crispy (but that may be due to it sitting out for a while before I had a chance to pick it up). The Banh Bot Loc were tiny and few, with very thick wrappers compared to the filling, but I guess it makes sense for how salty the small amount of filling was. The Banh Beo Khay was okay. Maybe the food is different if you dine in, but I don't see how the quality could differ so much. With smaller portions and blander food, District One is on the weaker end compared to all the strong Viet picks in DFW.

Yelp
We enjoy all the food, and now we are glad they are opening one in Ranch 99 in Frisco, TX. Also, the service was great fast

Yelp
Located in a very big and busy plaza. A lot of the restaurants there were packed. This one wasn't though, but we still went because we wanted Vietnamese food. Don't get your hopes up as the food is decent but nothing mind blowing. Open plaza = free parking. We were seated right away and service was ok. Took a while to be serviced and wasn't checked in on after food came out but it didn't bother us as we normally don't have any needs. Husband got a noodle bowl and I got the broken rice. What I didn't appreciate was how they charge for every little thing you add to your rice dish. I think it's pretty standard to have sides with the broken rice. The only difference should be the main meat. But to have the pork skin was like an extra $1, to add the egg meatloaf was also another $1. I wanted both of them so got that. The pork skin only came with skin. A typical pork skin side comes with thinly sliced pork meat too. I asked for pork chop and I'm use to getting pork chop with the bone, whole piece. Mine came with it chopped up. It was nice I suppose so I didn't have to gnaw on a bone. The pork chop was thinly sliced though. Another thing that was missing was the green onion in oil. The taste was there, just didn't appreciate being nickeled and dimed for having the sides that comes with a typical broken rice dish. My husband enjoyed his bun bo kho, minus the noodle selection. He prefers the thin flat noodles but got the round ones. The beef that came with it was tender though and he thought it was a good amount.

Yelp
Flanked by Korean and Thai street food places on either side, District one adds a Vietnamese street food and plates into the mix. The staff was friendly and who I'm guessing is the owner or manager checked in with and chatted up the customers. Really good service overall. I ordered the banh mi ca ri ga (chicken curry and bread) which I'd never had before so I wasn't sure what to expect. I was thinking it might be a more traditional banh me sandwich with some curry so I wasn't sure what the proper way was to eat it at first since it was curry and French bread. Vietnamese curry was a bit thinner than other types I've had so I figured this was a soak the bread situation for a delicious curry saturated bread. Even if I ate it wrong, I still really enjoyed and the staff offered me more bread when I had leftover curry as well. Overall I really like this place and will head back to try a more traditional banh mi as well as some of their skewers in the future. Their menu is big enough that I think anyone could find something agreeable on it.

Yelp
Last year we were in Vietnam so I was craving some Vietnamese street food and this place satisfied that craving. The decor had beautiful touches of the country all over and even the service reminded me of the service from Vietnam. The menu was extensive which made it difficult to decide. I ordered the banh bot loc, banh khot and banh beo. The banh bot loc is traditionally wrapped in banana leaves and steamed but this one came unwrapped and visually not as appealing. The stuffing was paltry and one of them didn't have any stuffing. The exterior was chewy with a slight sweetness. The banh khot was denser than what I was used to but I enjoyed eating it wrapped in the lettuce, Basil and cilantro. The banh banh beo was overcooked I think so it was falling apart. The dipping sauces were all delicious. They all had the flavors that I'm used to but just not exactly there. Nonetheless they satisfied my craving.
google avatar

Linh T.

Yelp
All the staff members here are so helpful and nice! The owner came to our table explaining the menu and the different items that they're known for! The ambiance is not too loud. The restaurant is spacious and clean! We ordered much more but was so intrigued and hungry so didn't take pictures of our spread! We ordered banh xeo, banh beo, bun dau mam Tom, tiny eggrolls with peanut sauce and pho! Everything turned out so good!! I would definitely come back for more! Highly recommend this place if you're in the area!

Yelp
I haven't had the opportunity to dine in just yet. Recently my friend and I placed an order For Togo, and we were pleased for the most part. We ordered 2 Banh Xeo(Vietnamese crispy crêpes), basically they are egg omelets with bean sprouts and your choice of meat folded in the inside. Served with them was fresh lettuce, mint, Thai basil and some Type of fish sauce for dipping. You're supposed to make a lettuce wrap with Banh Xeo And the fresh herbs. This was my 2nd time having this meal and it was just as delicious as the first time. Despite the fact that my Banh Xeo was slightly overcooked /too hard, the extremely fresh herbs made up for it. I briefly got to look over the menu and plan to revisit and try a number of different menu items. A good friend mentioned that the pho is pretty decent. So as we are creeping into the colder seasons, I plan fully to find out for myself.

Yelp
Had high hopes because it's in this plaza- very disappointed in lack of flavor and overall food. We went into to 3 tables on a Sunday 11 am which is right around the start of peak hour in this plaza. The egg rolls were very small- which I get the street food portions- but the egg rolls itself was too peppery, and the fish sauce... tasted... different where I couldn't put my finger on it but it wasn't the norm The bahn mi was $5 and it was as small as expected but I bit into it there was no taste. Just bread. I couldn't taste the meat or the veggies... The grilled pork with broken rice was okay and the only thing that tasted good. Compared to the price which we paid under $25 it wasn't awful but if the portions are small I assumed the taste would make up... Will not be back. There are too many good places just in a 3 min radius to come back
google avatar

Audreanna C.

Yelp
This is our go to spot when we want pho or bahn mi's. The service could be better but it's pretty spot on in comparison to other restaurants in the same genre of food. The food is always exceptional and its really cute inside.
google avatar

Luis U.

Yelp
Overall the food was mid level. Not great, but not good. I have had it before so why i give it a ehh review, cause this last time the meat was extremely salty that I could not eat it. I will say the server at least corrected the bad cook with chicken replacement, but still was a waste of money for not getting for what you paid for. The appetizer was good, but horrible service sequence. Came out same time as food, Big No! Learn basic food sequence and deliver appetizers first then meal. It's basic 101 in food industry. Like I said I am being generous on my review due to past okay experiences on food quality, but last visit honestly deserves a 0 star. Overall, food is overpriced for the quality so be warned, and not good enough service or place ambience to compensate the price.
google avatar

Jennie K.

Yelp
The food is good, but the price is just not justified for the portion size. Extremely small portions.

Yelp
I ordered the BBQ Beef stick with a side of rice to-go, and it was good. Since they are quick bites: the portions are smaller but the food was really good.

Yelp
Worse service! They do not listen and confirm your order! Ordered food and waited almost an hour.

Yelp
I was walking around the Asian area in Carrollton been here many times for Gen Korean BBQ. I was showing some friends around and got a little hungry all the other places were pack and this one wasn't. My friends wanted Pho so we tried it. Mostly due to no people in here. I was pleasantly surprise I ordered the vermicelli with pork and side of chicken. It came out super fast and it was delicious. My fiends enjoyed the Pho. Vermicelli 6 outa 10 Pho 6 outa 10 they liked it Only gripe i had about this place is they didn't have a Vermicelli with pork and shrimp and got charged $3.00 bucks for 4 small strips of chicken not even a full chicken breast that I ordered on the side. Other than that the food was good recommen this place Forgot to take a picture‍

Yelp
I was not impressed with District One. The Sugar Cane Drink was yummy but had a strong citrus flavor like it was diluted with oranges. The Shaken Beef was okay but had too many bell peppers, not enough beef, and too expensive. The Waterfall Chicken was pretty good but they didn't provide much red rice.

Yelp
Food is hit and miss, stick to the street food type dishes like banh xeo, banh khot, banh bot chien. They are brand new and needs to work out the kinks. The waiter gave my food to the table ordered after me so I had to wait longer for my banh xeo. I got banh bot chien (fried rice cakes with eggs) and banh xeo (viet sizzling crepe) they call it sizzling because it's the sound it makes while cooking. You can pick shrimp or pork or both or just seafood. It had strong turmeric flavor and it was so goood. I will definitely come back! Vietnamese street food are meant to enjoy with beer. People literally sit in the streets to eat these food in Vietnam. Came back on second day and tried bò ne, came with a hot dog and little food and not even good. I don't recommend that. Banh xeo was not as good as first day. Pho was ok. Flan I could make it better at home. You have to order a lot to be full. Prices are steep as well for what you get. Portion was so small.

Yelp
This place is okay. The food is not bad but too expensive due to their small portions. I like their variety in choices tho. The server doesn't care about customers and sometimes can be rude.

Yelp
Place is a hit or miss. Do not get the Bo ne (sizzling steak). It was not steak but slivers of beef nor was it sizzling when it came out. Some of the other stuff is good like banh cuon, banh xeo, grilled pork and a few others. But the Bo ne was ultimately misleading. No steak no sizzle.

Yelp
Worst service ever!! We came in, and no one greeted us. There was one person who came in before me. We both waited for 5 minutes while being ignored. After 5 minutes, his wife came in and asked if he got a table. He said no; they saw us and just walked right past us. They went to the checkout area to ask for a table and did the same. We got seated, but no one came to check on us for a whole 20 minutes (also, while we were waiting we heard lots of people were asking where was there food, how long is it going to be til they get their food? One older women came & was saying that they waited for long time, the other table that came after them already finished & others were saying they waited over an hour & a few others left.. like just walked out). We ordered Banh Bao and Bot Chien for appetizers, Mi Quang and Com Ga Xoi Mo for our main meal, and my husband ordered a lemonade. Food came out after 35 mins. My food came out 10 mins before my husband's. We had to get ourselves silverwares bc they weren't provided to us and my noodle soup had already came out & they NEVER checked on us so my husband went to their station and got it himself because he didn't want my food to get cold. 1. Bot Chien never came. 2. His drink never came until he half way finished his meal & HAD TO REMIND THEM after trying to wave them down bc they never came to check on us after taking our orders. 3. Banh Bao 8/10. 4. Mi quan 6/10 it was decent... could be better. Feels like it's missing a lot of flavors in there... just don't know what it is... 5. Com Ga Xoi Mo 4/10.. my husband never throws away food, he barely touched his plate. Chicken was bland.. no flavor, the rice had a red color to it but again.. no flavors. I thought it was weird so I took a bite of his chicken... and not only that there's no taste, there is a bad smell to it like the chicken hasn't been clean properly before frying!! When we finally finished eating, even helped them semi cleaned our table, husband already walked to the cashier area to pay while I'm still sitting at the table about to get ready to leave after I take a last sip of my drink and one of the lady came & ask "what about your Bot Chien? We're making it right now?" I said we're already done. Please cancel it & she did.

Yelp
I always love eating here. The owner is so kind and welcoming and accommodates to everyone. The staff is so friendly and remembers my orders every time I come. For all of the comments complaining about price... I have no idea what they're talking about... Their food is priced fairly and we should respect their prices because yes-- it's worth the price. Our Vietnamese culture deserves to be appreciated!!! The banh tráng trộn and the gọi ddu đdu are my favorites!
