"During one visit to Tre Dita in Lakeshore East’s St. Regis Hotel, our server pointed to the menu’s pasta section and said, “This is what we’ll be famous for.” And for good reason—one taste confirms that this Tuscan-inspired spot (from the team behind LA’s pasta powerhouses Felix and Mother Wolf) takes their pasta very seriously. Throw in a glitzy interior, a gorgeous riverview, and more servers in suits than a James Bond casting call, and this fancy hotel restaurant should be your first choice for a Big Pasta Night Out. photo credit: Kim Kovacik photo credit: Kim Kovacik photo credit: kim Kovacik photo credit: Kim Kovacik The Tre Dita Experience begins in a hallway that’s basically the menu’s hype man, showing off staff in the “pasta lab” artfully rolling, slicing, and shaping dough, while dramatically lit beef sits pretty in a dry-ager like it’s posing for GQ. Ultimately, those steaks are fine and other large proteins are forgettable. But the pasta is pure saucy luxury. When you’re diving into meaty duck ragu, creamy cacio e pepe, and buttery taleggio-filled tortelli that all have a harmonious balance of flavor and a perfect firm-yet-tender texture, it’s euphoric. photo credit: Kim Kovacik photo credit: Kim Kovacik photo credit: Kim Kovacik Despite the fancy hotel packaging, Tre Dita isn’t just a utility player for metal-credit-card-wielding business people or tourists chatting about European summer homes. Equally fun for locals, it’s the ideal setting for a celebratory meal, a leveled-up date night, or just a random Tuesday night when you want to feel like a VIP—minus the $800 hotel room. If the main space fills up with anniversary dates and birthday dinners (reservations drop a week out at midnight), try walking into the more casual bar area. The smaller menu still has the greatest pasta hits, and sipping an excellent (though pricey) $24 garibaldi with a plate of spicy rigatoncini feels just as luxurious from a bar stool. Food Rundown photo credit: Kim Kovacik Gamberi In Salsa Verde These plump crustaceans are our favorite appetizer and a must-order. They’re incredibly juicy, with a nice sweetness complemented by acidity from the zesty salsa verde. photo credit: Kim Kovacik Fiori Di Zucca We’re not scientists, but these squash blossoms strongly support our theory that there’s a direct correlation between fried, cheese-filled things and high serotonin levels. The mild flavor of the flower lets the milky ricotta be front and center, while the light batter and delicate petals add texture. Steak As you can probably gather from the raw beef display happening in the hallway, this spot is proud of their steak. But just because they can properly salt and sear a good piece of marbled cow, it doesn’t mean you should order it. These all taste fine, but there are way more interesting dishes on the menu—$290 is better spent on a whole meal here than a 42-oz. porterhouse. photo credit: Kim Kovacik Pici Cacio E Pepe Tre Dita takes the “pepe'' part of this dish and runs with it. Every thick strand of Tuscan pasta is thoroughly coated in rich cheese sauce and enough pepper that guarantees each slurp of pici has some zip. It’s an excellent take on a classic. photo credit: Kim Kovacik Rigatoncini All'arrabbiata This is our favorite plate of pasta and it follows the same philosophy as the cacio e pepe—it doesn’t hold back on the peppers, even throwing in an extra chili for garnish if you want more spice. The heat is comforting rather than overwhelming and is a nice added layer of flavor to the garlicky tomato sauce. photo credit: Kim Kovacik Pappardelle Con Ragu D'anatra If you want some meat in your pasta, get this. The thin ribbons of pappardelle are coated in a sauce that’s loaded with the rich flavor of the shredded duck, while pecorino gives each bite a little burst of creaminess and sharpness. photo credit: Kim Kovacik Tiramisu The perfect way to round out a meal with some sugar. It’s sweet and rich, but not overindulgent. Both the cream and cake have a surprising lightness, plus lots of delicious, bittersweet cocoa powder." - John Ringor

AVOID Came in here with my husband to look for some new frames. The store is nearly impossible to get into, no one mans the (locked) front door or answers the buzzer. We were eventually let in, and each purchased a pair of sunglasses (about $1,200). My husbands "super strong hand-made Japanese titanium" frames developed a slight bend in the brow bar. We have no idea how it happened, we were very gentle with them, and only had them for a few months. Upon purchase, I mentioned how delicate they seemed, the salesperson said "yeah, but they're very very strong." We just took them in to see if they can be repaired, but the associate said "no" - offered nothing beyond a discount on another new pair. Super disappointing service from an expensive brand that claims to have such high quality and durable frames. I know titanium frames can be repaired - the fact that buying directly from the manufacturer yielded such poor service is disheartening, sure seems like DITA really can't be bothered. I'd stick with Oliver Peoples if I were you...

This is my number One store for Sunglasses had the chance to visit the DITA sunglasses store again after some many years and was impressed by the selection and quality of their products. DITA is known for their stylish and high-end sunglasses designs, and the in-store experience did not disappoint. The store had a great variety of frames and lens options to choose from, covering a range of styles to suit different preferences. The staff was knowledgeable and helpful in assisting me find the right pair of sunglasses. They took the time to understand my needs and provided thoughtful recommendations. The overall store ambiance was modern and inviting, making it enjoyable to browse and try on different pairs. The displays showcased the sunglasses beautifully. Prices were on the higher end, as expected for a premium sunglasses brand like DITA However, I felt the quality and craftsmanship justified the cost. Better than Any different brands Like GuCCi or Prada or LV even Cartier. Beast in Sunglasses industry. In the end, I left the store very satisfied with the pair of sunglasses I purchased. They are not only stylish but also well-made and durable. I would certainly return to the DITA store for future sunglass needs. I forgot to mention The Customer Service is Top Notch in this Store on Melrose St. Don’t go to Rodeo Dr. worst Customer Service ever. Been there so many times to buy Sunglasses but I never did because of the attitude of the employees I get all the time. I have a special appreciation for Brandon Sims. Thank you so much. It's my birthday gift.

Dear Dita, customer service representative, It is very rare that I receive impeccable customer service and exquisite interaction, which is why I felt obliged to reach out to someone in hopes to appreciate and celebrate the hard work that goes into Customer Service. While my family and I were visiting Los Angeles, we decided to go to your Melrose location. At first, we were hesitant to enter the store because we have visited that location a previous time coming to Los Angeles and the interaction and atmosphere wasn’t the most pleasant. Despite our hesitation, we decided to enter, and was absolutely blown away with not only the person who helped us but the atmosphere that he created. Jeffery was not only knowledgeable, Pleasant but very thorough in his communication and interaction with us. We did not purchase anything in that moment, but he sent follow up communication in regards to a few frames that we tried on and were interested in. After about a few weeks, he followed up in regards to not only our visit to the store, but also our visit to Los Angeles, which made the interaction even better due to the follow up. With that being said his engagement and follow through gave me the perfect Christmas gift for my husband, which was a pair of glasses that my husband was in love with. I hope that this email finds you well and I hope that it is communicated with jeffery on how amazing of not only a sales person but an asset to your team he is. We will definitely be back to visit him and hopefully pick out our new favorite data shades.

Google
Very friendly and helpful staff. I called to inquire about getting my glasses serviced and the gentleman invited me to the store and explained the cost and offered to ship my glasses so I would not have to commute so far back to the store. This was awesome because my optometrist that I got my glasses from was completely useless in servicing my frames. This experience has put Dita's customer service ahead of any other company I've had to deal with.

Had an excellent experience at this particular DITA store. even tho i came to check a model and was not buying today, i actually said it at store representative Dominic .. He was so helpful with everything i needed it plus also took the time to introduce me to DITAS -Lancier line of lenses to sunglasses with details and showing the quality of the sunglasses. ( This speaks volumes about the store) so i appreciated his knowledge and passion for the brand to point where i almost purchase the sunglasses. Ill be back! thanks again DOMINIC.

Google
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! Still waiting for my glasses that I ordered over 3 weeks ago and still no word on when I’ll get them. No one ever returns calls. Really disappointed with this company. I do not recommend

Google
Best experience ever buying glasses. I've worn glasses since I was 5 years old, and it's always been a laborious experience. Great customer service; total time deciding was less than 30 minutes. They contacts my doctor, got my prescription, and I had my glasses in less than 2 weeks!

Andranik H.

Yelp
I bought Dita sunglasses and I can't wear them for a long time, after 2 hours my eyes start to hurt. I asked the store employee and he offered me to change the glass for $200 and that's called good quality... and life time warranty

Ray M.

Yelp
You would think for the prices of their frames that the quality would be high end and that the company would stand behind their products. In less than a year, the arm fell off of my Rx Kader sunglasses. I brought them into the Fairfax location in hopes of having them repaired. Jeffrey the store manager was very clear that the glasses could not be repaired and I would need a new arm. This would cost $150 and take two weeks. Extremely expensive but it seemed the only option since Jeffrey said the old arm could not be reattached. I pick up the glasses, and immediately notice that my old arm was reattached. You could see the gold was tarnished on the inside of both arms from being worn. I was happy to see that they were repaired. I asked the price for the repair since I didn't have to get a new arm. This is when things went from awkward to unpleasant quickly. Jeffrey became condescending (calling me sweetie, wtf). I was clear that I was happy to pay for the repair but not for a replacement since nothing was replaced. Jeffrey's response to this was gaslighting me by telling me I wasn't giving him a way to resolve the situation. The resolution is charge me for what was done. The situation got extremely ugly. I was extremely upset. I decided to pay the ridiculous $150.00 because I needed my only pair of prescription sunglasses. Jeffrey, you should be ashamed of yourself. You could've resolved this easily without conflict.

Yelp
Wanted to leave a warm and positive review for Ashley. Over the course of three months, I was in and out of DITA several times. She was always cheery and super helpful; and by that, I mean took action when I asked a bunch of questions and the like or needed anything else (various things each visit). Among other reasons, I hadn't made a purchase like this in a long time, which is why I was so tentative -- and by that, I mean an expensive one (for me at least lol) that was sitting in the "want" column for a while (as opposed to the "need" column). Ashley was never pushy; yet also liked them. I liked the shades from my first visit when the matte black caught my eye. I had been wearing my previous pair since 2017 (Warby Parkers, which I still wear) but I was always on the lookout. ALSO, Ashley gave me this cool little display thing that I attached to a shelf with wire (she said she doesn't usually give them out, but I did finally buy the shades on/for my bday). I didn't plan to, but one thing led to another, and eventually, I figured aw heck, let's go for it. Anywho, thanks again, Ashley, for putting up with me each time, going above and beyond, and for my new display tray thing!

Yelp
Location is shitty with a bunch of trashy messy people hanging around outside. Wrong side of Melrose for this shop. As I was entering my car I heard the sound of a gunshot but it was maybe someone's car? I go to open the door, it's locked. The salesperson comes up with no mask to open the door. I ask her to put a mask on and she seems offended. Gives me shitty attitude the rest of the time. No refunds only exchanges on $500 sunglasses what a shit company.

A G.

Yelp
My Endurance 88s were losing some screws so I decided to pop in to the Dita Store on Melrose. The Gal that was at the counter was an absolute angel. She was not pretentious, she was absolutely patient as she re screwed my Ditas back to factory condition at no charge. All that and she was easy on the eyes ...A good thing to be at a boutique eyewear shop . Dita dont lose this employee as I have ''recommended for all my peoples to try and buy there next pair from .... I hope I got her name right Kaylie'' . I should mention that the vibe in the shop really cheered me up upon visiting as I was having sort of a rough day . Thank You Dita, and Kaylie. Dita is just like Porsche ..."There is no substitute'' as you get what you pay for.Quality product that is supported by quality people.

Yelp
super sharp shades... a little heavy but they have such a unique look to them like no other. They'll dent your wallet but are worth it!

Yelp
Tommy is the man! Called Thursday to make sure they had a pair of creators and he held them for me for a couple days til i came to pick them up on Saturday late afternoon. Really dope dude and excellent customer service. I will definitely be purchasing more from him. Appreciate it bro!

Yelp
The iconic signature Dita store. Pros: great layout and decoration of store. One of my favorite brands in eyewear and this flagship store does not disappoint. Very friendly staff and knowledgeable about the product lines and different eyewear. Are assisted with a complementary eye wear adjustment and the service of the staff was very friendly. A large selection of the dita eyewear on display in nice cabinets. Cons: I was a little confused on the newer models and or separation of the different lines in a clear and conscious labeling of shelves. That would be my preference as opposed to trying to figure it out on your own or having to ask were each line or model was on display. Another small discontent is the lack of special promotions...while I understand this brand is high in demand and very seldom has any sales , it still leaves you hoping for a special as the majority of the Dita eyewear prices has sadly been increased by Dita due to their popularity. Novelty: beautiful store with very friendly staff for this iconic brand!

Yelp
Since the DITA in San Francisco is indefinitely closed I decided to purchase my DITA flight 006 glasses from the DITA on Melrose in LA. I came into contact with Kayli at the DITA on Melrose who was able to order the exact frames that I wanted. I decided to drive out to LA to physically purchase the frames, and order them with clear optical lenses. Kayli gave me a time frame in which they would arrive at my house, and they came sooner than she had told me. Kayli was very personable and great to work with. I honestly could not have asked for a better experience. And of course, these frames are f#*ing amazing. I highly recommend DITA on Melrose!

Aaron-Taylor A.

Yelp
Dita is the very best when it comes to glasses and after collecting 8 or 9 of their "standard" frames I figured it was time to try the new Epiluxury line. Kayli was incredibly helpful remotely selecting and purchasing an amazing pair of frames and was very thorough outlining the options. She has amazing customer service and during the pandemic, some retail therapy sure hits the spot. Kayli emailed me photos, handled a bunch of my (probably annoying) questions and most importantly, the glasses came and fit perfectly. Thanks for everything Kayli, you rock!

Lauren G.

Yelp
My favorite glasses I have ever had. Everybody stops me to ask me what they are and where I got them. I'm usually thinking, "these are real gold, sweetheart," but I tell them instead and they just stare at them and say it again about how they really like my glasses. Honestly, I get more than one compliment a day about them and I have had the same two pairs for over a year.

Zhora S.

Yelp
Kaylie I believe is how you spell her name.. and she is such a great help but also keeps her work very professional highly recommend working with her you wont be disappointed.. !

Vincent T.

Yelp
Thank you for your excellent customer service Dominic. My wife & I are loving our new Dita frames!

Ryane A.

Yelp
My experience shopping at DITA was phenomenal. The store itself is very stylish and all of the frames are top quality. In the past, it was difficult for me to find flattering frames but at Dita, I instantly found a pair that worked for me. One small hiccup occurred when the lab that fulfills the prescription lenses made a mistake, which significantly delayed delivery. Kayli was enormously helpful throughout this process. She kept me up to date on the order status, offered to have my frames sent to me so I didn't have to come pick them up, and refunded the cost of the prescription since it took so long to receive them. It was a pleasure shopping at DITA and I look forward to ordering more frames in the future. Thanks again for your excellent customer service Kayli!

Brian C.

Yelp
Eddie is your guy to go to. Super helpful and very knowledgeable of Dita products. Very glad he helped me out.

Joe D.

Yelp
Crafted and well-designed frames. So far, I've purchased 5 pair, and I'm sure we will come back for more. They even donated frames to a pediatric cancer nonprofit fundraiser I shared with them, without hesitation. I will be back.

Jewel L.

Yelp
Love my glasses! OK, got a deal on gilt....or I may never have heard of Dita....but I don't know if I have ever been happier with a pair of glasses. They look great, fit great, and the prescription lens are the best made I ever had. Almost makes me happy I lost my reading glasses. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful.

mike m.

Yelp
Both amazing glasses and customer service. Sent my glasses in for a repair and they repaired them free of charge and shipped them back at zero cost. Glasses arrived in a new box and case. Not only did they repair them, they cleaned and polished. Worth every penny.

Jon E.

Yelp
Wow. Reading the posts on here, apparently, I'm the only person who has had a poor experience with Brady. I'll get to that below though... I have a pair of DITA glasses (Stranger model - bought from optometrist). I visited this store recently to look for another pair b/c I love mine. Walked in and there were a couple of customers inside the boutique who had come in before me. Totally cool - I patiently waited for some of them to leave (while looking at glasses myself) and was finally helped by Brady after a little while. Him and I talked about glasses briefly and I tried on a few pairs. What bothered me was that while I was being helped by Brady, a couple of customers came through and he seemed more interested in helping them out than helping me. He answered their questions, even moved away from me to speak with them about their inquiries, and did not really provide me much assistance in terms of suggesting new pairs of glasses I try on. It seemed like he was mainly helping these other customers...he would give me a minute or 2 of his time when they didn't have any questions. This didn't really make me feel too great - I felt like I was a filler. On another note, when I was at Garrett Leight, their store representative asked me what I was looking for and suggested 10+ different frames to me (as well as explained different options I can go with). No matter who walked in the store after me, his attention was fixed on me. I think that's how customer service should be (especially if you're spending this much money on luxury frames). Really bummed that I had a poor customer service experience @ DITA. Needless to say, I walked out of the store without anything unfortunately. Hopefully this experience isn't representative of the company as a whole...

Yelp
PLANNED OBSOLESCENCE THEY SAID... I just had the worst and most shocking experience ever. Originally from Paris, I live now in Montreal, Canada. Something like 2 years ago, on a trip to Los Angeles, I went to the Dita store on Melrose and bought a beautiful pair of Thom Browne sunglasses, which cost me around $500 if I remember well. Since the very beginning, the inside of the lenses started to have a mark that grew with time. I have many sunglasses so it's not like I was wearing these all the time, especially in a city like Montreal as you can imagine. I am in Los Angeles right now and just went to the store to show them. Not only they were really obnoxious but also I got the craziest response ever. The person there told me: "Have you ever heard about planned obsolescence?". I could not believe my ears. So I asked him if he meant it was normal they would dye after such a short time. His excuse was that Dita is not making the lenses but only the frames, so the lenses manufactoror had planned obsolescence. They told me that if I wanted to have the lenses replaced it would be on my own expense, and that they were not responsible for the coating inside to disappear. I cannot wear these glasses anymore and I actually barely wore them because of this defect. I am very used to buy luxury goods and of course taking good care of them. This is the first time ever I see a luxury brand, or any brand, treating a customer like this. Their only answer, and again in a very impolite fashion, was that any factory defect is only guaranteed for 1 year.

Pauline G.

Yelp
I always love coming to Dita Melrose! Every visit the employees are friendly and have the best knowledge of their frames. They speak with quality and know the ins and outs of eyewear. Looking to buy my third pair!

Kevin K.

Yelp
I worked closely with Kayli who helped me get custom lens on a pair of sunglasses. This is my favorite 5th pair of Dita eyewear and I will be returning again! The customer service was amazing

Julie A.

Yelp
Have a pair of Dita's for the past 10 years that I just love. The screw broke in the arm and no one could repair them, but an employee at Dita told me about Serge of Spectek Eyewear in Redwood City. Serge was able to fix them (just completed this online form and sent him the form along with my glasses - http://spectekeyewear.com/mail-in-repairs/) and I had them back within two days! Couldn't be happier with both Dita and Spectek.

Francisco C.

Yelp
I always try to get to this store when I'm in town. Service is always great and the everything is top of the line. It's hard enough to find a large selection of DITA sunglasses (which is great) because when you get to the store it definitely feels like you get a small slice of heaven. Hope they keep thriving in this environment. Oh and of course Kayli is the best stylist on Melrose.

Steve B.

Yelp
I went in to have a minor repair done and ended up getting them fixed and bought 2 new pair. Christopher is a sun glass superstar. Amazing service, knowledgeable and friendly. Without a doubt the nicest sunglasses in the world.

theo n.

Yelp
"Let's go into the water!" "Ok fine. Just knee deep." We creeped close enough to let the waves tingle our feet. We stepped further in and I stared at Mr. Sun with my gradient Dita lenses, fit with a Japanese titanium silver frame. He glared down at me with his penetrating rays and pretentious attitude. I refused to flinch. Suddenly my eyes caught a movement to my left! A wave grew larger, stronger, and began to roar. I moved quickly towards it before it crashed upon me. The wave stood tall and rushed me! My toes touched sand again and I opened my eyes. It was incessantly bright; my glasses were gone. I splashed around empty handed and told my friend I was heading back. I sat upon the sand and timidly watched Mr. Sun retire behind the ocean. I couldn't believe that my favorite sunnies were lost. Swallowed. Eaten. Devoured. Despair grew inside me. I scoured the shoreline and saw water glitter like flawless diamonds being rolled down a hill. Gold surrounded Mr Sun and melted into the royal blue skyline. I had a good weekend; Birthday party, Tofu Festival, Sunset Junction, Canter's, sunset. I was safe, comfortable, happy, healthy, fed, and loved. It clicked. These glasses were meant to be lost. To remind me that the most superficial goods are of no consequence or importance. Good bye glasses. May Mr. Sun shine in 'em.

Yelp
First off, shouts out to DITA for making supreme-quality eyewear -- the kind you want to hang on to! The Melrose location really came through for me on an older pair of DITA shades that needed a tune-up: Kayli was on-point from the moment I called, expediting the parts needed to effect my repair, and keeping me updated via helpful emails. When the parts arrived, all I had to do was drop in and Kayli got my sunglasses back up to par in a manner of minutes--for free! These folks know from customer service, thanks again :)

Elli S.

Yelp
Dita sunglasses rock. One piece of advice- most of them are BIG - I mean in frame size- so you'll need them tightened if you have a small head. I have pretty much moved on from Ditas but still think they're coming out with cool styles- just get the aviators and skip the Mary-Kate/Nicole bug-eyes; they're so 2006. I also want to know how you get your health insurance to pay for $250 sunglasses. I must know......

Brittany F.

Yelp
Located off a colorful part of Melrose in LA, Dita Legends is a store worth visiting. I received a pair of Dita sunglasses as a gift and I HEART them :) This store makes awesome sunglasses and the customer service is fantastic. I broke the glasses twice and they were happy to repair them free of charge. They have a wide range of styles and something for everyone. They are a bit pricey but are the type of glasses that will last forever if you take care of them.

Yolinda S.

Yelp
Will never come here again. The one person that actually listened and had genuine complements is no longer here! I hate the pathetic introductions that the other staff give. They don't listen and could truly care less what frames compliment your face or not. This is a a sorry establishment. Will only buy online from here on out.

Brian H.

Yelp
Always love shopping at DITA. The staff are super attentive and friendly and have fixed any issues that have come up with my many purchases here over the years. First place I always go for glasses.

Jen S.

Yelp
I bought my first pair of Dita sunglasses last month. I've always wanted a pair but was reluctant to order online since I don't have the convenience of trying them on. The store selection is amazing - I WANTED EVERYTHING!!! The manager, Logan, is super knowledgeable and friendly and even went out of her way to give me a discount on some frames that had the tiniest scratch that I couldn't even see with a microscope! I really wanted the Wonderlust shades but they only had it in white (which were still pretty sick) and I kind of wanted another color. I ended up getting the Xanadu ones. They are so pretty! Yesterday, I received a card in the mail, and to my surprise, it was from Logan - the manager! She sent a handwritten card saying "hello and that if I still wanted the Wonderlust glasses, to give her a call". Now, THAT is some excellent customer service! I'm thinking about getting another pair JUST for that!!

Jimmy L.

Yelp
I have been a Dita customer for a long time, buying a total of 10 pairs of glasses at various locations around the globe, including Japan, New York, and Melrose, so I was excited to bring my nephew and son to Dita Melrose while picking up a previous purchase to show them how great Dita glasses are. While at the store, my nephew and my son were trying on sunglasses that interested them. While trying on the glasses, the gentlemen there told them in a very unfriendly tone that he had to clean every pair that they tried on, which he did not say to any of the other customers there, to which I assume is because they do not look old enough to buy these specific sunglasses (which is disappointing to see as other Dita locations have provided great service). Luckily, there was another super friendly staff member, Kayli. She was patient and kind to us and ended up saving the day. She had turned our moods around. She was able to locate the Mach 6 I had wanted. Subsequently over the course of three weeks she had been very resourceful and helpful. My nephew ended up buying the pair of Flight 7 while I had bought two pairs of the Mach 6, one pair of the Decade 2, and one pair of Thom Browne eyeglasses for my wife. If it wasn't for Kayli's exceptional customer service we would not have gone back to the Dita on Melrose to make these purchases. If you are interested in a pair of Dita, I strongly recommend Kayli at Dita on Melrose, you will not be disappointed.

Selina W.

Yelp
I am a diehard Dita fan...I cannot get enough of these frames!! Amazing craftsmanship and since coming to the flagship store ( my first time ) I can also say they have amazing customer service. They treat you right here! I came in not knowing that there was even a Dita store in this shopping area and managed to get my Dita sunnies serviced. The make of my sunglasses are no longer in production but Tommy still found a way to help me out :) Thank you DITA for your perfect eyewear! I will never stop purchasing Ditas!

Brad W.

Yelp
The pair of rims I purchased broke. They were good about replacing the frames but the new pair is stretched and the plastic warped. When I wrote to Dita they didn't offer to resolve the problem. Given how expensive the product is I'd expect better. I'll give them an average because my first pair of Ditas were the best pair of glasses I'd ever had.

Never heard of the brand until my cousin told me about it. We happened to be in the area so we stopped by for a look. I always seem to have a hard time finding the right pair of glasses and end up just settling with something to looks okay but Dita seemed to have a great selection of frames that I liked immediately. Looks to be made from quality materials. Of course, the downside is the price but you get what you pay for.

Yelp
Ive got 4 pairs of Dita, 2 prescriptions and 2 sunglasses, not cheap....but the frames get ugly after a year or so, If you pay $500-600 for frames they should last longer than a couple years...And they charge you a fortune to have them fixed... And some of the guys working there, rude son of a guns, you would think after spending thousands of dollars there would be some sort of gratitude. Came in there again the other day....I do love there frames and was hoping for different personal but no, felt rushed and just left. With the competition nowadays you would think they would have better customer service... See eyewear here I come....

Yelp
Took my glasses to get fixed... they sent it into corp and had my prescriptions lost... have been ignoring and dodging my calls for over two weeks ... these guys are jokes

Yelp
I bought a pair of glasses over 2 years ago and part of the metal frame broke, so I took them into the store to get them fixed. A week later, they called me to say that my frames were ready, so I went and picked them up yesterday. Much to my surprise, they gave me a brand new pair! Now THAT, my friends, is great customer service. Thanks so much, Dita!! :-)

Yelp
The BEST glasses EVER! Beautifully crafted, exquisite, fashion forward designs, and the best lenses you will find. Dita's are so lightweight I forget they're on. I can't say enough about the quality of the frames AND lenses, worth every penny. HANNAH is amazing!! So incredibly helpful, knowledgable, and patient!! She knows her glasses and went above and beyond our expectations. She is the sweetest, GO SEE HER!!!

Yelp
I got sunglasses here that I really really love. I don't usually put down money for things like sunglasses but figured that I would when I fell in love with these little things. They are designed wonderfully and have put up with my sometimes reckless usage. I really recommend them to everyone.

Yelp
Dita's are the current trendsetters in designer sunglasses in LA. Remember in 2000, when you where the only one wearing Seven for all Mankind jeans. This is the way you might feel with your Dita's. Wait 3-4 years and every guy or girl will have a pair of Dita sunglasses perched on their head. Even worse, you'll have that Guido-looking character wearing them to the clubs (Je comprende pas?). Having had Lindsey, Nicole, Paris, Brad, Angelina, De Niro wear their sunglasses, Dita's are a fashion must have. The Dita boutique on Melrose is a delight to visit. Not only can you check out the sunglasses, you can also take a look at the accessories (I am beginning to sound like a female here). Now, if only my health insurance covered sunglasses. Oh, wait a minute, they do!

Yelp
Less than 10 months ago, I purchased a pair of frames from Dita. Now they are cracking and the lens is about to fall out. Allegedly, there is a guarantee of quality, however multiple attempts to contact them for a replacement pair have resulted in either no response, or an automated one. Given the price point for their frames and the competitive market, I would not recommend their product, minimal value and zero customer service.

Yelp
I will never buy a pair of glasses anywhere else. I am writing this review 2yrs plus after buying my Thom Browne glasses here. I was a little hesitate to spend so much but now I realize every dollar was worth it. First you are buying something unique. Ray bans fall off trucks in every city but Ditas selection is unique. I came to LA from NYC & SF and while I wish there was Dita you can only find it here. More importantly, you don't just get glasses. Dita provides the best service. It took me two years to figure it out but I just went back to the store and they are fixing my bent frames and even replacing the lenses on my sunglasses for under 50. In addition, just because I don't live in la doesn't mean I have to wait for my repairs. They are shipping me my specs. I can't say enough about what a great place this is.

Yelp
Came in for a quick fix on a pair of glasses that were bought at this store. Brady went above & beyond to help me out. Thx again!

Yelp
Already bought two for myself, "targa" & "grandmaster II" and bought two other for friends. Recently my targa's temple became lose and I had it for about 5 years. When I took it in for service, they repaired my sunglasses at no-charge, however they had to take it in for about a week or two...this is when I bought my grandmaster II which was about $600. Their service is GREAT!!! I like the how the store look and the quality of their products are just superb!
