"Family-owned and operated for more than 25 years, Ditch Witch is the best food truck in Montauk. They serve everything from salads, poke bowls, and burritos to cold sesame noodles and cinnamon buns, and can be found where the sand meets the parking lot at the famous surfing beach, Ditch Plains. Make sure to come on the earlier side, as they close at 4pm daily." - melissa kravitz hoeffner, team infatuation

Really chill truck by the sea. The bro who works here is so chill which is really dope. I had an egg sandwich. Pretty expensive but that’s montauk these days. No room on the island for an islander anymore

Fantastic beach eats at one of the most beautiful beaches out East. I had a poke bowl with noodles called the tomahawk which was delicious. I’d add extra tuna next time because it was so fresh and delicious. Iced tea really hit the spot as well. 10/10

Great Poke bowls, quite expensive though, $20-25.
Can’t beat the convenience, and the line can be hit or miss.

This place was highly rated on a travel blog for Montauk and I was really excited for it. Be advised that parking is only allowed for residents with permits. Finding a place to stop was impossible. The truck itself was adorable and service was fine. The most disappointing part was the food. I got their Tomahawk which ended up being expensive (~$21) for just a little bit of fish over a bunch of very salty noodles. It was not worth it and I wouldn't go back.

no parking for non locals, and the beach was dirty, dark water, crowded. No many food options. Definitely a local beach in Montauk. I came from Brooklyn for a road trip, not impressed.

Bring water shoes but the surfing is great and not crowded. Not to far from hotels. Taking a cab is your best bet as it local parking only.
