Had a lovely brunch at Divina Restaurant with friends! The ambience was really nice—warm, inviting, and perfect for a relaxed weekend hangout. We especially enjoyed the spicy mussels—full of flavor and just the right kick. Definitely a spot worth coming back to!

We booked the wine room and it was so intimate and warm🤍 We requested to have our food served family style. Enzo is amazing and the servers are beautiful people!

My friends and I had dinner here. Server was constantly checking on us and making recommendations. Really enjoyed the Portuguese octopus, divina platter was also incredible! Our waiter made sure that they gave us six arancini for everyone in our group, that was so nice! Only thing we missed was the lava cake. We were gonna order two of them and the sundae for dessert and he recommended the dolce board instead but didn’t add the lava cake for us, which was a disappointment.

I came here on Valentine's Day with my boyfriend. They prepared a wonderful gluten free ravioli. The atmosphere is extremely romantic. Our server was very attentive to us and to my dietary restrictions.

I can tell you I'm a big fan of Divina as I tried this place several times. All dishes I tried were fresh, tasty, just amazing! Expensive, but not overpriced at all. Servers are friendly, informative, and make you comfortable. Dishes are served very fast. This is not understandable because ingredients are fresh, diverse, and plated beautifully. Also, seats are spacious and usually available without reservations.

Enzo has created a fabulous environment where the food is delicious and the venue makes you want to return again and again. We used the wine room for a birthday party. Planning was easy and everyone had such a good time. Thank you!!!

Came to Divina for brunch with my boyfriend and definitely would love to come back! The steak and eggs were amazing, as well as the french toast.

Maybe my expectations were too high for a place attached to the Marriott but if I'm spending $68 for a ribeye, I expect it to at least come cooked the way I ordered - medium rare. Unfortunately, it was mostly well done, maybe borderline medium well which is a shame because it was seasoned well and the sides were good. Cocktail was good too. Server was very friendly. I did let them know, they said "I'm sorry" and simply moved on. Maybe their other offerings are better but for $68, skip the ribeye.

Yelp
Love the food and the staff. And the sidewalk seating is awesome so Jack can come with. Great ambiance

Yelp
A must try spot in the area of downtown Stamford. Parking is street or paid lot parking and can be tricky during peak rush hour. We started off with some prickly pear mocktails and spicy blood orange margaritas. All were amazingly delicious and extremely refreshing. We ordered two appetizers for the table. The fried calamari and fresh baked bread. The bread was pretty good and had a nice crumb to it and it really didn't need any of the dipping they provided. The fried calamari was amazing as there was a good amount of rings to little squid's and it was extremely crisp as it should be. For mains we ordered a margarita pizza, the burger with fries, and I ordered the rainbow beet salad with shrimp. Everything was honestly delicious and so fresh. The only complaint was our server was a bit peculiar and kept lingering at the table and rearranging our plates mid meal. Otherwise a 8/10 for food and overall atmosphere. I would like to come back and try out their brunch menu next.

Yelp
Not worth coming back. First, parking is valet only, so expect to pay $6 + tip to park for an hour. It's $14 if you park 2 hours. The host kind of ruined the experience for us. He doesn't have a warm demeanor at all and when we asked for some water upon being seated he rudely gestured at us and gave us a bug-eyed stare like we had just made some ridiculous request. They really should have someone friendlier as the host. That said, the actual servers were much nicer. The food here is mediocre at best. We started with the croquettes and the beet salad. The beet salad is a giant chunk of lettuce with two slivers orange and maybe a small handful of beets. Balsamic overpowered everything on the salad. The croquettes were just ok. The margherita pizza lacked flavor and had a soft soggy crust. My $25 burger came with fries (the best part of the meal) and was cooked as I requested (medium) however my bottom bun was complete soggy and soaked with pink meat juice which was unappetizing. The restaurant has nice ambiance, especially for a hotel restaurant, but the food is unmemorable at best and we were soured by the rude host. I wouldn't come back.

Yelp
Hungry and looking for a place to eat we decided to stop here. It was conveniently located off of the highway and thought we'd give it a shot. It was a Monday at lunch time when we entered. The restaurant was decorated very beautiful but there was not a soul in the restaurant and now we understand why. Furthermore, it took a couple of minutes before we were greeted by any of the staff. We were about to walk out when someone greeted us. The food itself was not flavorful. The pasta tasted like cardboard or straight out if a can (but not a good one). The quinoa bowl just had a peculiar flavor to it and the portion was small( the picturewas very close). The best part of the bowl was the grilled chicken added. Otherwise the flavors didn't mesh well. Our experience with the staff was slightly awkward and they were fairly aloof to us.

Yelp
Had the calamari and it was rubbery and lacking flavor altogether. As usual the service at Divina is good and the ambiance is nice. I wish the calamari I get at Italian restaurants in landlocked cities was not more tender and so much better Caesar salad I had was quite good and would suggest that any day.

Yelp
Had brunch this morning from a referral from a friend and because we were staying at the Courtyard. We were the only table at 11:30am and we had a reservation for 10. The steak and eggs were ordered medium rare and served well done. When sent back we were told they ran out of steak. The other order of steak and eggs was also overcooked and did not include the chimmichuri. The chipotle hollandaise had no chipotle. The poached egg was undercooked. The Canadian bacon was deli ham, etc. the chef came out to apologize and said everyone has a bad day. Unacceptable!

Yelp
We thought we'd check this place out to have a quick happy hour..seeing we were in town for a business meeting. Little to our surprise, happy hour was only at "the bar" that had probably eight seats. this took me by surprise cause it's a very small restaurant. I think they would do much better if they let the whole restaurant have a happy hour. Very cute place but not so "happy"! Food was just ok.
google avatar

Yelp
Really great happy hour with friends. The drinks were strong and tasty. The food was good and the service was great!

Yelp
I LOVE this place! In the middle of the heart of stamford downtown, plenty of parking too. Our bartender JoHn took great care of us! The happy hour is to die for!!! Oysters for $1, wine for $6, and amazing drinks. All the food is tasty and portioned perfectly. The atmosphere is trendy and stylish but calm and peaceful. A great time for business lunches, first dates, a solo dinner or anything! HAPPY HOUR IS 3:30-6:30pm- check them out!

Yelp
Well, it was convenient for breakfast when staying at the Courtyard... Bacon was inedible. Coffee was fine. Eggs were plentiful. Service was ok.

Yelp
My husband and I decided to come here on a whim, as we had one rare evening free together. the ambiance of this restaurant was very nice, but our service was terrible, and the food was not much better. I've heard of decent things, and judging by the reviews, I'm hoping the night I went was just an off night for them. We ordered arancini as a starter, which was very heavy on saffron. Kind of unusual, but if that's your thing you'll probably love it. For main entrees my husband ordered the bistro steak, but apparently they've been out for a day now so that was no longer an option. No big deal, he got baby back ribs instead. He said it was decent, so that's a plus. I ordered chicken Parmesan and unfortunately it was very greasy and heavy. I had some, but the rest we packed away. We also ordered a prickly pear mocktail, which was tart and absolutely delicious! The brussel sprouts also were a hit, even if they were a tad greasy. We ordered a pizza to go for a family member, and I had clear instructions: no meat/sausage on the pizza. The waitress said okay, wrote it on the ticket, but unfortunately for us when we got home we saw they still had put the meat on there. Now a whole pizza gone to waste. It was not cheap either. In between appetizer and ordering our entree as well, the waitress ignored us for a literal half an hour while she took orders and checked on other patrons. I understand she had 3 other tables... but she literally ignored us for a half hour and anytime we tried to get her attention she'd walk past us. It was not a great feeling. All in all, we don't plan to come back. Hopefully others have a better experience.

Yelp
One of my favorite brunch spots in Stamford. They have an awesome bottomless deal of endless mimosas, Bellinis, or bloody Mary's (and yes you can switch between them!) for only 20 dollars (and no there is no time limit). Add the great food and nice servers and it's a perfect spot for a relaxing Sunday! If you are looking for food recommendations, the calamari is fantastic and comes with a delicious slightly spicy marinara sauce and the bunch board is perfect for sharing.

Yelp
Stayed in nearby hotel. Came for dinner because of the yelp reviews and nearby location. Maybe the chef had an off night but everything was disappointing. Ordered the beat salad which was soggy, 2 thin slices of oranges, 4 slices of beats and a blob on cheese on top. Lacked flavor and presentation. For dinner, I had the green fettuccine with braised short rib and béchamel sauce. The only thing edible was the green fettuccine pasta. The short ribs were 4-5 sliced pieces of beef in the pasta dish. Couldn't tell if it was leftover steak sliced or short ribs. Also had the bistro steak which was not cooked correctly. The outer was tough and burnt while the inside edge was well done with middle being rare/bloody (when asked for a med-rare). Not evenly cooked nor was it flavorful. Steak came with fries and brussel sprouts. The brussel sprouts was the only nice thing on the plate. The tangerine panacotta was bland and more like a jello than a custard. What could go wrong with the chocolate lava cake with pistachio gelato? Everything! It was a cold cake with no lava oozing out of it as the name would suggest. It was hard and dry and the pistachio gelato lacked flavor. Party of 3 with a total of almost $300 bc of the wine bottle. Not worth the cost. Inside decor is beautiful and server was very attentive.

Yelp
After dropping off family at LaGuardia we wanted to grab lunch and came to Stamford. The reviews were excellent and the pictures painted an accurate picture. The restaurant is located inside the Marriott so valet parking made it convenient. The atmosphere is quaint and colorful. The cauliflower had a unique sauce that was delicious. The burger was juicy, and the bun was an English muffin so it wasn't heavy at all. The were happy to swap a Caesar salad for fries. Wife's egg Benedict was good. Service was friendly and helpful. Overall good experience. Would gladly come back.

Yelp
I'll be honest, I initially wasn't all that thrilled to come here for happy hour when I discovered that this restaurant was attached to a Marriott hotel. However, the HH menu looked great and had a ton of options, so I decided to give it a go and I'm happy to report that I was not disappointed. The interior is very trendy & modern but also a little rustic. Big fan of the artistic touches and cute plant decor. My friends and I had a seat at the bar right at the beginning of HH and we were the only ones in the whole restaurant at the time. Our server/bartender (don't remember her name) promptly approached us and took our drink and food order. I ordered an espresso martini, the meatballs & parmesan truffle fries. The espresso martini was delicious - Not too bitter, not overly sweet. The meatballs were slightly tough but had good flavor and the truffle fries were tasty - Just the right amount of truffle. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is due to the fact that our server disappeared at times and wasn't always readily available when we needed something or a refill of a beverage (like I mentioned before, the restaurant was completely empty other than my friends & I). Other than that, we had a positive experience and I highly recommend you check out the happy hour here if you're in the downtown Hartford area.

Yelp
I went to Divina with a friend for dinner and must say we were very pleased with our experience. From top to bottom, service was prompt and friendly and food was delicious. They started setting up for a DJ as we got to the end of our meal and we were glad to leave prior to music starting up too loud. Bottom line, it's a good choice for the area if you need a crowd pleaser.

Yelp
Got a bunch of shareables. Meatballs are good, Fried chicken was great. The vibe is perfect for a date or a nice dinner with a friend. Our server was incredible and definitely one of the owners. Would come back just for the bread and oil.

Yelp
Refreshing change from usual ho-hum tavern food. When you see the owner, Enzo, overseeing and working to maintain the operation, they receive my vote.
google avatar

Anatoli L.

Yelp
We visited Divina for a dinner with the family. Good location, right in the downtown of Stamford, plenty of parking around. Good selection of cocktails. Wine list is not bad, but doesn't offer too many of decent options under $50. Appetizers were good mostly across the board - fried calamari, meatballs, octopus - all were well made and tasty. Main dishes were somewhat disappointing - I would expect that pasta should be a star at the Italian restaurant, and you can't mess up the basics such as chicken Parm - and yet cannelloni and pappardelle dishes were blunt, and chicken Parm was truly pedestrian speaking about the flavor. Braised short rib was quite good. Excellent service, prompt, attentive and with the smile.

Yelp
I love this place; great food. I love the service, and the bartender, Jonathan, makes incredible drinks, which I strongly recommend. The owner is always there to ensure that the best service is delivered.

Yelp
Food was cheap and not worth it at all even for the cheaper happy hour prices. Service was good and place was good ambiance wise but would not recommend

Yelp
This place is located inside of a hotel. The inside is big, very nice, tall, open, clean, and spacious. Though there was an event going on, it wasn't very loud (also many seated dining that weren't part of the event). I was greeted right when i walked in and sat down just as fast. Everything I ordered here was delicious (despite appearances of the dish) . I had a custom made martini which they executed perfectly (blood mary martini with jalapeño vodka and 3 blue cheese stuff olives). The waitress was knowledgeable and helped me decide on what to order (everything looked good). I'm def going to go back to tried though braised lamb stuffed raviolis !

Yelp
I'm literally obsessed with this Italian restaurant. Coming from a (half) Italian girl who is super snobby when it comes to food... this place hits the mark every time. That's just the food. The drinks are superior and quality and the service is top notch. This will be my go to as long as I'm living in CT!!! Kids meals are nice portion and fresh. My boys absolutely love the calamari which is huge because under normal circumstance they don't like calamari. It's small tender pieces with a perfect crisp and minimal oil. Happy hour is also great. See photos. Will be back again and again!

AA A.

Yelp
The lunch food a soup and cauliflower was very good. Portions were way too small. The bill before the tip was $27 not including the five dollar tip. The $7.00 including the tip Valet right next to the restaurant was not included. I am going home minus $34.00 and very hungry. This place should figure it out. Larger potions and a lunch special. There is a reason that you only had a few people for lunch. Good chef

Yelp
I had really high hopes for this restaurant since its in a great location and down the street from my local movie theater. The food was just ok. Not bad, not great. The service was very nice though so I gave them an extra star for that part.

Yelp
The blue point oyster were really good, however the winter pizza had no flavor . The service on the other hand was amazing and the restaurant itself was gorgeous

Yelp
Great food and atmosphere! Owner Enzo was very attentive and welcoming. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Cool looking place. Ordered roasted butternut squash ravioli in brown butter sauce. Served with tomato sauce totally overwhelming the butternut squash ravioli. Asked waiter to report to chef. Said he would. No report back to me. Wouldn't recommend.

Yelp
Bravo for Sunday brunch, and Divina knows how to do it right!! My sister and I decided to meet up here yesterday (07/25/2021). When I arrived I was greeted by Devin, a most gracious host. His smile and welcoming manner was just what I needed after my hour drive from Long Island. Devin served us our first round of Mimosas and told us our server would be coming. Manny, our server greeted us with the biggest smile when he arrived at our table. After answering all our questions, we made our choices from the menu. I chose the Frittata and my sister chose the Field Greens salad and the meatballs. Each of the dishes were visually appealing and seasoned well. I enjoyed each and every bite!! As we ate, Manny and even Devin came by to check on us. We felt valued and extremely well cared for!! We chose the Endless Drinks option (for $20 you cannot beat it!) and after a few more Mimosas, we were ready for dessert. The Coconut Lemon Cheesecake was calling our names. We decided to split a piece and get two cappuccinos. The cheesecake contained pieces of coconut and was bathe in a strawberry/blueberry compote. Can you say, OMG?....cause I sure did! This place is a gem, located in downtown Stamford. We found free street parking on a Sunday. But this is definitely a bustling area during the week, metered parking and pay parking garages are the rule of thumb. I look forward to returning to try more selections from the menu. Divina is truly DIVINE!!

Yelp
Stop everything... turn around and EAT HERE! One its easily my favorite restaurant when I visit Stamford. It's flavorful, fresh with that unique touch of love on every plate. When I call to order, I'm a a princess who gets treated like a queen. Road trips are worth it, lunches with friends or dinner with friends will leave them wanting more & we cannot forget the warm inviting atmosphere. I love the staff here. Such beautiful hearts and genuine service that we used to get many years ago in family owned restaurants. This is not a chain restaurant. It homes. Enjoy every morsel and don't forget seconds!

Saira K.

Yelp
This is a beautiful restaurant in downtown Stamford. They have a great room for dinners and parties. Service was really great and attentive. They help you with organizing parties. They also made sure everyone got food at the same time. They did a great job serving dessert. Their food is described as modern Italian. They have pizza too. It's part of a hotel. There's valet parking, or garage or street parking. It's in a great area, so you can go shopping after.

Yelp
Service was a 5! We had our waiter Brandling and he was 6 out of 5 - an excellent waiter and extremely personable, friendly, and attentive. Ambiance was cool - the space is decorated nicely and it was clean with a good number of patrons. I would try to give Divina a 3 but the food was so terrible that I need to give it a 2. Pizza was 100% flip and no crunch. I got that as an appetizer. The calamari was ok. Salmon in the past was great but it was a flop this time. The chicken was inedible. It was so dry and flavorless - the only way I could swallow it was by mixing it with a side of rigatoni. They do make hand made pasta but as a side I just got regular box rigatoni. The chicken was unforgivable - my kids make better chicken than this. I would not recommend Divina for food - but give it a try for drinks and a chit chat.

Yelp
Great spot for happy hour. Drink and food specials. The service was good and the ambiance is chic.

Yelp
My team and I went to Divina after arriving in Stamford for work meetings. Our group was 6 people and we got there about 4p. The tables were available, not too close together, and the staff was welcoming. The men in our group got Old Fashioneds, the ladies got wine. The drinks were top notch, and I have to admit that I appreciate the Four Roses upgrade to my Old Fashioned. We got Meatballs, Burrata, and Crostini as starters, and they were great. I preferred the burrata with the peaches, but all were great. I got the Pappardelle with Bolognese, and it's some of the better bolognese I've ever had. The deserts for our group included some Affogato, and the cheesecake. Nothing disappointed. I would recommend this to anyone.

Yelp
I stopped by adivina for an early Sunday dinner with family, and this was the perfect spot. The wait staff was extremely attentive and my water cup was never left empty, which I appreciate a lot. To start, we got two generous baskets of bread and olive oil. The bread was honestly so delicious! As appetizers, we shared verde pizza and calamari. I thought the verde pasta wouldn't be too my likely because there was no tomato sauce, but it was honestly so tasty. There was perfect amount of pesto, so it didn't seem too dry. The vegetables were cooked Al dente and evened out the cheese so it wasn't too cheesy. The veggies gave it a nice crunch. All of the flavors and textures combined, the pizza was fantastic. The calamari was a basic order that would be a safe choice. Like I assumed, it didn't wow me. It didn't feel like it was super fresh. I've had better at other restaurants. As my main course, I ordered the roasted chicken which came with Brussels and chunky yet creamy mashed potatoes. Loved my "consciously slightly healthy option but probably not that healthy" roasted chicken decision, but the dish had real good and not so great parts. For example, the dark meat of the chicken was extremely flavorful and tender meanwhile the chicken breast was a bit too dry and bland for my liking. Mashed potatoes from real potatoes (with skin) was very balanced: creamy, salted perfectly, and chunky. The Brussels had a good flavor but I prefer mine be slightly well done with crispy leaves. Some other complains from the table were that the spaghetti in the chicken parm entree was over cooked and short ribs were on the saltier side. All in all, it was a fair experience in Stamford but felt like it was slightly shy of what I expect in a perfect 5 star experience.
google avatar

Vidushi S.

Yelp
The food was delicious and packed with flavor. The seating is comfortable and the restaurant is not too loud. The service was also great and on time. There were four of us and we split a few appetizers and main course to get a sense of different items on the menu. The food did not disapppoint
google avatar

Sara R.

Yelp
Stopped them for some drinks, and they were very tasty. Had some Pinot Grigio and a Mojito and they both very good quality and were very delicious. We went in on a Thursday around 230 and there was nobody else there. Sadly, it was very quiet and empty, but it was a really beautiful atmosphere.

Yelp
Great service, the food great taste, ravioli and tuna appetizer was perfect. I will definitely be back to explore more options on the menu
google avatar

Yelp
Great ambiance for a hotel bar/restaurant. Service was great, food was just okay. Nothing special for the price. I payed $44 for the halibut and it was so overcooked it was completely dry... but, the farro and mushroom soffrito it came with was delish. The salmon was great, 2 people had that. The bolognese was pretty bland, definitely much better other places around town. Started with the mussels - good, but again, nothing special. Overall, it was just okay and would not choose it over other Italian in Stamford... especially at these prices.
google avatar

Kamiu L.

Yelp
Definitely expected a lot more given the strong Yelp reviews... service was great, ambiance is OK (it's a cool space but it's in a Marriott and there were some cheesy blinking lights up - maybe left over from holidays), food was mediocre. The menu sounds interesting and inventive, but the dishes were mostly underwhelming. Tuna tartare - fresh but the vinaigrette was very soy sauce heavy, would benefit from a little rice vinegar or more citrus or sesame oil to cut it a little. Maybe some pickled shallots? Lol just tasted too much like fish in soy sauce. Oysters - not super fresh and had a sauce on it that really did not enhance the flavor overall. V underwhelming given it was $3ea Mussels - this was quite good! Flavorful sauce and not too spicy Branzino - this was also quite good, had a nice char / grill flavor to it but a bit over cooked... Bolognese pasta - this was very very underwhelming. The sauce does not taste like much was put into it -- tastes like what you get out of a jar 3 of 5 dishes were really underwhelming, 2 were good. So very mixed review from us, and certainly did not live up to the 4.5 stars (and high prices)!
google avatar

David S.

Yelp
Great place, and hard to believe that it's a hotel restaurant. Went here for dinner. The cocktails and food were all really tasty, and wait staff was friendly and attentive. Unlike some bland hotel restaurants, this has a nice ambiance, especially with the glass wine racks/wine displays. You'll forget you're at a hotel restaurant. I had the steak for dinner, and it was cooked as I ordered and very tasty.
google avatar

Shanina S.

Yelp
I went here for a Christmas party for work and the food and drinks were great. The service was incredible and the waitress was nice and patient. I had the Fish Branzino and it was delicious. I would definitely come back again.
google avatar

Christine R.

Yelp
This restaurant had a nice relaxed vibe. The staff worked together as a team to make sure you had everything that you needed. The food and the drinks were beyond great. I had the chicken parmesan with the homemade pasta. The chicken was crispy with a nice crunch even with the sauce on top. I For my cocktail I ordered several Cosmopolitans and every restaurant/bar can not perfect that drink and Divina perfected it. A perfect blend not too tart and not too sweet. I am really glad I decided to walk in and try Divina instead of always peeking in the window.
google avatar

Jeffrey W.

Yelp
The food is awful -- just salt!! It's along Main St & it's obvious it's a better bar than a restaurant.

Yelp
I've been eyeing Divinia on Yelp for awhile now, and was glad to have the chance to go recently. Upon entering the restaurant, I immediately felt the hotel restaurant/happy hour vibe. We were greeted by the host and taken to our table. Our waiter came to the table almost immediately to take our drink order and deliver menus. Drinks arrived quickly and tasted delicious. I ordered the zucchini carpaccio appetizer and the Rainbow Beets. I think I expected something different with the zucchini, but the dish was still delish - almost a good alternative to a salad. The Rainbow Beets were interesting ... the avocado and abundant lettuce made this feel disparate from the beets themselves. I guess I'm partial to a beet/root veggie combo, especially this time of year. That salad could have been Served in the middle of summer in California. Also, the prosciutto was not delicious. Amazing concept, but chewy, pig-ear of a thing. All in all, Divinia, even for appetizers/salad was just ok. I will definitely try the pasta/pizzas, but will prioritize some other places first.

Yelp
So happily surprised to find this lovely local restaurant attached to the Courtyard Marriot. The rainbow beet salad is devine and I hate beets. The staff is lovely and I look forward to my next visit.
