We had lunch at Field, then dined at Divinis on the same day. From the start to end, Michelin Bib Gourmand - Divinis, offered even more wonderful experience than Michelin one starred - Field. This is not a comparison between two different styles of great restaurants to visit in Old Town Prague. If, however, you only have limited time in Prague and look forward to a great restaurant, try Divinis first, and you won't be disappointed.
We ordered arugula salad with mascarpone cheese, and ham from Spain - Joselito as starters. The natural bitterness of arugula is well compensated by the creamy texture of mascarpone and the sweetness from beetroot bits. Joselito is just as its claimed fame - the world's best ham!
Main courses are served with the chef's signature veal cheeks and special - grilled sea bass (deboned with skin). Both are delicious and the portion is very generous.
All in all, Divinis offered the essential of how a great cuisine should be: the ingredient itself and how it's cooked; less some fancy features from Michelin starred ones: how dishes are visually "presented".
