Growing up in the South, I am always skeptical of southern food outside the South. It was a great meal. I truly enjoyed my Greenwood cocktail. It was perfectly balanced. The country ham was so good because of the proscuito-style cutting. The salt was not overwelming. The middling were creamy and enjoyable. I also the pork shoulder with grits.

Went with a group of friends. The appetizers were amazing. The entrees we're good tasty but the portions are small. The crafts drinks were very tasty. Worth a try but be mindful of the portion sizes.

I was here for Valentine's day. The place is very cozy. I love the atmosphere and all the details of the decoration. It's like in a magazine. Everything is very delicate and tasteful. Prices are affordable. Service is to improve (too pressing and insistent). I recommend this place for a romantic moment. I'll come back.

Food was delicious. However, the place boasts as tapas style southern cuisine and the items were not very filling or shareable and were pretty pricey for not being filling. My boyfriend and I left the restaurant hungry. The food here is really good. I would go back but not with the mindset of leaving with a full belly.

I wanted to try Dixie, so my husband and I went on a whim on a Friday night. The atmosphere was so cozy and comfortable. The service was bad... the waiter seemed inconvenienced by us. Overall, the food was very good, but our experience was tainted by the service.

Highly inventive, tasty, beautiful southern food in a very comfortable and contemporary setting. A great addition to Chicago's great food scene.

Good food & service. The Chicago food scene makes it so difficult to rate anything 5 stars. It's definitely a must try.
