Seafood & casseroles join Korean BBQ at this classic restaurant with booths & tabletop grills.
"The only Korean barbecue restaurant in the area that cooks tableside over a charcoal grill, DJK Korean BBQ (short for Dae Jang Keum) is old-school in the best possible way. Set in the corner of a tiny strip mall with minimal parking, the low-ceiling restaurant has tight booths for cozy seating. Opt for the combo meals to try a variety of meats, such as bulgogi, chicken, and soybean paste soup. Not all tables are set up for grilling with charcoal (some tables use propane gas instead) so it’s best to make reservations for the charcoal experience." - Helen I. Hwang
"DJK isn’t open for indoor dining but the entire menu is available for takeout. For a little bit of everything, consider one of the combos with bulgogi, chicken, beef brisket and boiled soybean paste soup. If you’re looking to customize your eating experience, DJK’s meats are also sold by the pound." - Darlene Horn
"In a section of the city awash in Korean barbecue places, Dae Jang Keum is the best for the high quality of meat served as well as the charcoal grill—everywhere else uses gas grills." - Jackie Bryant
