I’m a huge baked goods connoisseur and I was getting together with some friends with whom I’d already reviewed this month’s Cronut flavor, so I wanted to treat them to something fun and new from somewhere I hadn’t been before.
When I saw another reviewer mentioned guava brioche I knew I was willing to go out of my way while walking home to get some. Luckily I got the last two, I think they were around $5 each. The store is small but the gentleman behind the counter was super friendly. The case was full of delicious looking baked goods, so I’ll be going to go back to try something else soon. Not to mention there’s a menu on the wall of other food options and some empanadas.
The brioche was delicious! Guava is kind of an uncommon flavor but when I travel in Florida I always look for it in panderias.
Edit: I’ve also tried an iced coffee, pan de yucca, and empanadas while going back for more brioche - all great!
