"Do Eat has solved the two-person Korean BBQ conundrum. This little spot in Bridgeport is one of the only Korean BBQ restaurants where you can try a bunch of meats without an entire butcher’s case on your table. It’s also quite affordable. The kalbi-for-two includes short rib, bulgogi, pork belly, shrimp, chicken, rice, and veggies for $38. Each table has a charcoal grill and a hood (so the small space doesn’t get super smoky) and the friendly servers will help your meal along without hovering. They don’t have it posted online, but if you wanted to reserve a grill instead of walking in, you can call the restaurant to make reservations." - adrian kane, john ringor

"A relative newcomer to the Korean barbecue scene, Do Eat has been a welcome addition to the South Side. Guests can get their fix of lamb chops, galbi, and rib eye, either grilled tableside or prepared by the kitchen. Rounding out the menu are traditional items such as tofu stew, seafood pancake, and tteokbokki. Order online here." - Jeffy Mai

A little K BBQ in the bridgeport neighborhood. Prices are very reasonable for the amount of meat you get. People complain that it's not real Korean BBQ. It's the concept of grilled meats dining out. A great experience for the first timer without a huge amount of money. We all know how expensive K BBQ gets. The places with AYCE meats are fatty and chewy. The quality of meat here is good for the price. Every meat was good but don't expect high end Wagyu for bargin prices. If it's your first time and unfamiliar with cooking time and technique, just ask the waitress and she will show and help you. They don't know it's your first time if you don't let them know.

It was our first time there yesterday. It was a really good spot to pick. The food was delicious and the staff was nice. I can't wait to go back again. We were able to take our leftovers home, though I was prepared to eat all of it right then and there 😅

The experience here was awesome! I took my teens here for brunch. The only reason the food gets 4 stars is because we burnt our own pork, LOL 😆. I'm new at it, please forgive me. I loved going to this restaurant and will definitely return.

The food is very good, huge portions even though it says its for 2. You could feed 4 off of a 2 person menu, and the prices are excellent! Def a 5 star for service, quality, and pricing! The staff is very nice , my 1st time at a Korean restaurant and they explain what you are ordering and are very nice about it! You won't be disappointed!!!😁🤤🤤🤤🤤

The most reasonable and authentic Korean Restaurant in Chicago. We ordered a course for 4 people ($65) and they gave us all the side dishes for free. They cooked for us and we were literally enjoying all the great flavors. 4 different meat including Korean Bulgogi, Galbi, pork belly, shrimp, and chicken. It's crazy! The owner is super friendly and it's such a great place for a great flavor. $100 for 4 men, we were too full to finish. Just go there!

Do Eat is amazing. I would go there more often if not for street parking and if it was closer to my area. Upon coming in, there was an extremely friendly atmosphere. The owner is cozy and extraordinarily nice. It really makes you feel welcomed. The attendance of the staff to the customers makes you feel like you have the attention needed for a great service. Food options are wide. The sets for BBQ are inexpensive can feed from 2-4. My party of 2 couldn't finish by the end of the BBQ and we had plenty to take home. Seafood Pancake is MASSIVE and worth the price if you enjoy the type of dish before. The BBQ-set was a 4-course set. We the chose Kalbi, Bulgogi, Pork, and Shrimp set. There's lots of side dishes to accompany the set as it should and the set comes with extras such as onions, corn, cucumbers. Drinks. The place is BYOB! That's all that needs to be said. The water is great. It hits like a spring when you're eating the meat together with it. Definitely recommend this place if you're in the Bridgeport area and craving some BBQ. The owner is a treat and becoming a local/regular here would make it worth your while.
