We had a fantastic dinner there on a Friday night. We were 10 and the staff did everything so we could have a great night. We order the tasting menu for the whole table and it was delicious. The price was totally reasonable given all that we ate. Highly recommended.

was recommended by wife's colleague. not worth the hype. Dolsot is much better in comparison. what I ordered was good, wifes was ok, ok service (they pretended to be be nice, not natural at it). wont drive back just to eat here, wont mind if we land up here with a friends.

Perfect for a longer night if you want to talk with friends, get dinner, and drink. While this isn't the most authentic Korean food in NYC, it is satisfyingly good and the potions will definately fill you up. They offer bibimbap, Udon, grilled meats, salads etc. Their cocktails are decent and they have a wide selection of Sake and some Korean beers. Healthy options like Cauliflower Rice Bibimbap were appreciated. The venue has a bar and a dining area. Both were pretty comfortable. Staff is friendly and didn't mind the questions from my friends who were trying Korean food for the 1st time. They do try to push drinks on you a little bit, but for the most part, our group was left to eat and chat as we pleased. Will definately be going again!

One of the best Korean places in NY. This place has been making great food for so many years now, never dropped the ball. Heymul Goksu and Japchae are favorites. Drinks are also really good at Do Hwa, as well as the service and general vibe.

Excellent Korean BBQ, great service and good vibes. Definitely worth a visit. Be sure to reserve a table with a grill as not all tables have a grill capability for meats

Korean in the West Village! Not a typical sight. My coworkers had lunch here one afternoon and we all enjoyed it. The food can be ordered to go, but it is more of a sit down restaurant. The prices also reflect that. The beer selection is limited, but good. There are also a number of enticing cocktails that I did not get a chance to try. However, my fried chicken was good and the mint limeade drink was refreshing. I also ordered the green tea cheesecake, which was amazing. I'm not sure if it's made in house or comes from a bakery, but definitely check it out.

It's a decent place for Korean BBQ without breaking the bank. I chose it because it was one of the easier places to make a reservation for a large group. Tried a mixture of items, including seafood soup, bibimbap and of course BBQ. Food was good and on par with the price. Service was very good.

Do Hwa is among my favorite Korean restaurants in the city, and I’ve been going there for close to two decades. The food is excellent, the drinks are always great, and it has a fun vibe. The best part is that you can go with a very large group without worrying that you’re upsetting anyone, since most people are there to enjoy themselves as well as eat a great meal. That’s not true of many restaurants, so it deserves special mention.
