Nestled near Wrigley Field, Do-Rite Donuts offers an irresistible array of fresh, whimsical donuts that are pure bliss to taste, making it a must-try for sweet lovers.
"You can replace the brioche bun that normally comes with every breakfast sandwich with a glazed donut at this donut and fried chicken spot in Wrigley. This may sound like a gimmicky social media trend, but it’s a substitution that you should make. We like going with Do-Rite’s simple crispy bacon, egg, and melty cheese—a classic combination of savory breakfast flavors with a glazed donut to add just the right amount of sweetness." - john ringor, veda kilaru
"You might know Do-Rite primarily as the place that makes fried chicken sandwiches using glazed donuts as buns. And while that is a perfectly valid thing to order here, if you’re going to pair an animal with your donut, we’re fans of their maple-glazed bacon. They also make a great pistachio meyer lemon, and some great vegan and gluten-free varieties, too." - adrian kane, john ringor
"Like the Do-Rite locations in Streeterville and the West Loop, this location has fried chicken sandwiches as well as delicious donuts, including some vegan and gluten-free options. They serve tasty breakfast sandwiches (on buns or donuts), too, if for some reason you’re wandering around Wrigleyville in the morning." - sam faye, adrian kane
"The ideal measure of fluffiness to cakey-ness in donuts is a fine line few can balance, but Do-Rite does so expertly. Their three constant vegan flavors are spiced maple chai, orange olive oil, and double chocolate. You can’t go wrong with any of these, but the chai flavor is the best cure for chilly weather, especially paired with a cup of coffee. The orange olive oil donut is my favorite, and while it may sound strange, the combination of olive with the citrus’ smooth acidity is mind-blowing. And the double chocolate donut? Well, as I like to say, chocolate is for whenever, and the richness of this donut never disappoints." - cyd seifert
