"Doc Chey’s is so serious about noodles that even their salad options include them. So when we’re in the Virginia Highlands/Morningside area and in the mood to wrap ourselves in silky, doughy comfort, this Pan-Asian noodle house is our first choice. For a decent lo mein, we appreciate their formula with egg noodles and what seems like a pound of cabbage and carrots. On Thursdays the patio fills up with locals who know it’s curry day (a different curry with varying spice levels is featured each week). But every other day, we grab and go here because the large portions of fried rice and teriyaki-splashed udon noodles taste just as fresh in takeout containers and are enough for us to save for leftovers. photo credit: Amy Sinclair photo credit: Amy Sinclair Pause Unmute" - Juli Horsford
