I have been here for the donuts before and they were good. They are always nice. Long as they don’t sell out. I decided to try a matcha cause I was driving by in the need of caffeine. And if I was only reviewing the drink they would get a zero. This matcha tasted even worse than Starbucks. The flavor was sweet strong but still bitter. Then the cold foam was gritty. They also seem to make a big batch and just leave it all day rather than making each one. Sad day, threw it away when I got home. The cup was cute though..

These donuts are actually really good when they’re fresh! If they sit too long, they start to get kind of stale and hard. Eat them right away if you go here. The only thing I don’t like is they close kinda early. I wanted a donut after work and I went there and they were closed. I know donuts are most popular in the mornings but some of us don’t have the time to go get a doughnut before work. My wife and I constantly buy donuts probably about once a week from Safeway or Fred Meyer‘s and it’s always in the evenings after work.

I'm so happy my niece invited me to this place today😁 The atmosphere is the Best! Not only can you buy delicious doughnuts but there is a small Asian market as you first walk in and a few restaurants. Customer service was Great. She was so nice and took her time to answer all my questions. The prices are reasonable. The best thing is the buy two get one free special.

I love dochi, my fourth time getting a dochi product. First time here at this location they were all sold out and one left. Came back here last year during Christmas and they had holiday themed ones. Came back today, finding that all the shelves were full of donuts! It's amazing, and they offer so many flavors! The box is also really nice and big, unlike some other places. Solid place for mochi donuts, and is my go to but it depends on what time you come.. you may find yourself only seeing 1 or 2 in stock.

The best mochi donuts in Seattle. Flavors are great and you just can't beat that chewy texture!! Never as greasy as a regular donut and you can section these much easier so sharing one bite of each flavor is easy & just feels right 😄 The matcha ones are always my favorite!

The donut + drink combo was a satisfying well-priced dessert option. The matcha latte with vanilla cream is really good and decadent paired with a donut. Warm and friendly service.

Was really excited about these but completely underwhelmed. First off they are pretty expensive. I was expecting a bit more chewy texture but it just reminded me a donut holes put in a ring shape. The flavors were a bit too subtle. My favorite was the taro pebbles because the fruity pebbles added enough flavor. The staff was very friendly.

The atmosphere is everything. A variety of wonderful foods to choose from. We decided to try Dochi and I must admit for my first time patronizing this business I was impressed. I ordered the Matcha, Pumpkin and Oreos flavored doughnuts and I'm so happy. I actually cheated on my Diet today and it was well worth it. The donuts were so soft and melted in my mouth. Customer service is awesome. She was so nice and took her time explaining and answering all my questions. They were all out of the Ube flavored doughnut but I will go back to taste it I'm so happy my niece asked me to go to this place today!! Directly next to Dochi is a Poke restaurant although I didn't buy anything from them their food smelled really good. There is also a small grocery store upon walking in. Such a wonderful experience. This location is right next to Party City. So if you are hungry for a decent meal with a great dessert give this place a visit you will be truly happy. The prices are very reasonable, also buy 2 get 1 free, can't beat that Diamond in The Ruff

These are actually my favorite mochi donuts since they're actually pretty chewy and the flavoring profile for most of their flavors aren't overly sweet and taste good. I'm happy that their quality hasn't changed too much since I first had them in Chinatown during the peak of the pandemic in 2020, and this is coming from me also trying Mochinut (several locations) in conjunction with Dochi until now to say that I prefer Dochi. For the full dozen donuts I got (which I forgot the flavors of most that I got in my photo), matcha oreo and taro pebbles are usually my go-to flavors when they're around. This place is one of several small eateries inside Lam's Seafood and there's shared outside seating inside the vicinity. Nothing to mention here for service since I only ordered the flavors I wanted and paid up front.

Located in Vietnamese market, this place sells mochi donut. I mean can anything go wrong with mochi donuts? Pick your favorite flavors and enjoy! I'm not sure if they change their flavors weekly since I don't live in the area. But the flavors they had when I was there were pretty good. It was soft to eat as well.

The staff here is out of this world. They radiate cheerfulness and hospitality from several feet away. Service is fast. You select from a daily preset selection of flavors, usually about four. They also have some "dochi holes" (I don't know, like donut holes, lol) with powdered sugar, which we tried this time - the spouse devoured them in one sitting so I guess they were a hit?! I enjoy these immensely although I do find that all of the flavors taste a bit similar. TBH, I have the same experience with anything with mochi (i.e. mochi ice cream). Just the way it is; it's the toppings that make the difference, I guess, unless you get something much stronger in flavor such as the matcha.

Have had them since the day they opened and i cant believe i never rated them! Dochi is honestly the best donuts we ever had. Not overly filled with dough, not overly sugary, and light in texture. When its just us two, we tend to order half a dozen and always get our favorite Ube flavor. Our second go to is always the Churro. Still tastes the same each time we visit. Recently, i've been loving the Cookies & Dream because of the caramel glaze and oreos on top. Overall, will still continue to visit. No other place has changed our mind.

Dochi is a must-visit for any donut lover! The donuts are made with fresh, high-quality ingredients, and you can taste the difference. The texture is light and fluffy, and the flavors are spot on. I especially love the ube and matcha flavored donuts - they are so unique and delicious. In addition to the great donuts, Dochi also has a friendly and welcoming staff. Not your traditional donut at all. But Hands down this is my favorite mochi donut in the area. The donut itself actually has some texture and it's not all soft. The way they fry their donuts give a nice outer crust to the donut & the inside is soft and slightly chewy providing the perfect bite. The toppings are not overly sweet either. For me, there's nothing enjoyable about biting into a sugar bomb. They are the perfect combination of everything you need and want from a donut. The assortment of flavors varies as well and it's a great way to always try something new. Easy to order with staff who is always quick to help. I love the box they come in. Sturdy and not flimsy. And an individual donut is wrapped in plastic bag. Even though this location is inside the Lam's shopping center the vibes are cute, fresh & modern.

Our business park manager swooped through with a sampling of these for our crew. We loved the ones with fruit pebbles cereal..FYI eat them fresh so you still get the crisp. The Cinnamon Toast Crunch churro like one was great too as well as the Oreo. The macha and UBE one actually lacked a pronounced flavor we are used to.

One of my favorite mochi donuts I've had! After shopping at Lam's Seafood, this was right around the corner after checking out alongside other shops. There donuts are definitely on the pricy side at about $5 per donut, but it is super uniquely flavoured and delicious! The service is quick and easy, they just grab a box and put the donuts in for you. There are so many flavors to choose from and I highly recommend asking the staff what their favorites are! Parking is just right out the center and it's easy.

Fresh and flavorful. Used them for catering and my guests loved their donuts. They have new flavors rotating. Today I found out they offer drinks.

I'd say dochi is my go to treat for whenever I grocery shop at Lam's. It's the perfect after errands snack to enjoy. The service is always pleasant and when there was a problem with the register during a visit, the cashier found me alternative easy ways to pay. Also so perfect to buy a box and take to my family gatherings. Easy to share and easy for everyone to try each flavor. The donuts are always different and fresh. It's not overly sweet and lovely chewy texture.

Hands down the best mochi donuts I've had, including ones in Japan and Hawaii. The donuts had just the right amount of chewiness without being doughy. They weren't overly glazed and weren't tooth achingly sweet either. Loved the different flavors, especially the matcha chocolate, blueberry! We got a whole dozen to bring over to a dinner and they were wiped out in a short time. They're located in Lam's Market.

We came in to get some sweets for a Saturday night movie night. We bought 2 of their ube bae, 1 strawberry pocky, 1 caramel about u!, 1 matcha and 1 oreo chocolate donut. Their donuts keep very well overnight, although we demolished most of them before morning. They are perfect for sharing. The boxes that their donuts come in are also extremely substantial! I love their flavors and their cute seasonal donut names! They are always worth a stop-they have plenty of new options as well as old favorites.

Dochi is the OG when it comes to mochi donuts in the Seattle area. They're simply the best. Please open up a location in south King or Pierce county!!

Was craving donuts so found this place via yelp I believe. It is located inside Lam's Seafood where their little food court is. They share a counter with the Poke restaurant. If you love mochi, you will love these donuts. They usually have 5-6 different flavors and you can get a single donut, 1/2 dozen or full dozen. You can tell you are eating a donut, but its not our average donut. b/c of the mochi aspect, they have a slight chew to them, which I love! And with how they are made, you can easily pull them apart to make little donut holes. I came here twice in one weekend - once for me and then the other time was to get 1.5 dozen for my husband to bring to work for his co-workers. Also when I was there they gave me a 10% off my next order, which I will definitely be using!

Too expensive and nothing special. You can get a better box of donuts for less than 10 dollars elsewhere.

Took a minute to realize this was INSIDE another store, should have read that first haha. There were rows of beautifully decorated fun flavors. I really love mochi because the donut itself isn't too sweet. If I'm ever in the area. I will be back to try new flavors!

Yum!!! I'm not a huge sweets person, and kinda hate the typically doughnuts, but Dochi spoke to me. They use rice flour and the thought of the texture intrigued me. Their hours are a bit weird for me so they've been on my back burner for awhile, BUT my boss brought them in for us recently! Fresh doughnuts? Amazing! Definitely very different texture because of the rice flour, I like it. I was disappointed that I didn't get to try an ube flavoured one, but the cookies & cream was really good and I'd most certainly eat another one! The next day we had some left overs so I went with the churro flavour. 1 day old doughnut? Still really good! The texture was a little bit firmer from the super fresh ones, but it definitely wasn't stale and had life left in it. Definitely love the shape of these doughnuts! They look like teething rings which is kinda weird, but as a person that likes to pull finger foods apart? **perfect** shape! With rotating flavours it's worth while to make a few trips so you can try them all and try them fresh!

I truly appreciate having something unique. In the PNW you have to travel a bit, go to places you might not normally but this is where the special places are. My wife went to Dochi because she's had it before. When she brought them home I was very excited to try them. Dochi makes their donuts with rice flour, though they're not gluten free. The rice flour makes for a unique dough that's not typical to donuts as you might know them, they're a bit more chewy. The flavors are more subtle, something I really enjoyed. Small little candy accents or cookies as I had on one, added to the overall experience. I'm glad that I found one more Place to add to my list for unique donuts and a cool experience that shatters the mold and goes new places!!

So we found Lam's market with this gem inside. We wanted to bring our family some treats for having us over this weekend. We got a half dozen, one of each flavor. It included the matcha, ube, red velvet, red bean, hazelnut, and fruity pebbles. Everyone has enjoyed them thus far. Let me also add that they were still soft to eat the following morning. Also, not like a typical donut, you don't get that overfilled feeling. It is a great treat to have with coffee. I will definitely come back when in the area and I believe my family will stop by too since they are in the area. Customer service is also awesome and they offer a discount card for your 2nd purchase.

Read this closely, if you have not had a dochi then you need to get a set of different flavors of dochis now, particularly at this place. The idea that a mochi is inside a donut is brilliant. The mochi within the donut compliments whatever is on the surface of the donut. For instance, their dochi with fruity pebbles toppings is certainly sweet but the mochi reduces the sweetness and offers some chewiness; they are also airy, so you won't feel so guilty eating half a dozen. Friendly staff and accommodating for first time visitors. This shop is located in the main walkway where there are other small food stalls, you can't miss it since their dochis are noticeable since they are on glass display. I'm coming back very soon and probably get a whole dozen all for myself!

Probably one of my fav mochi donut. The price isn't too bad. Single was 2.75 each or 6 for $15. We went around 1-2pm and they still had all the flavors, which is nice. I think if we came lately they would have run out of some of the popular flavor like ube glazed. We got strawberry pocky, taro pebbles, ube glazed, and matcha donut. Strawberry Pocky had pieces of strawberry pocky on strawberry icing. Taro pebbles had fruit pebbles on taro icing Ube glazed had a slight ube glazed on the donut. My favorite was the taro pebbles. The pebbles was a nice texture to the taro. The strawberry pocky piece fell off really easily just be prepared because it was a little messy having the pocky piece falling down on my lap while eating in the car. The mochi donut had a good texture. It was nice and chewy and a little firm. You were able to pull it away nicely without feeling like it was too soft.

Dochi has been on my hit list for a while and finally made it to sample their mochi donuts. I've had these types of donuts in Hawaii and was always a fan. I have to say these donuts are definitely delicious. Slightly crispy on the outside and chewy in the middle. The Oreo Dream was my favorite..and the Matcha Oreo...didn't think it would go well together, but was surprisingly good!! Least favorite of the bunch was the Ube Glazed. It was too plain without enough glaze. Instead of drizzling the glaze, they should have dipped the top of the donut like the other ones. You're better off getting the Unicorn which has the same ube donut base but with much more frosting and toppings. The box these donuts came in was super premium, but I'd rather them save on the packaging to bring their price point down a bit. $15 for 6 donuts is pricey, but it's worth getting as a treat occasionally.

They have the best mochi donuts. I went to this location twice. The first time we got different flavors and they are really good. I wanted to finish all of them but I saved some for my bf. It taste better when it's fresh. But it still tasted chewy the next day, but it got slight soggy. The second time I went was 5 mins before it closed. They only had Matcha cookie flavor, the staff gave us a discount for 1 dozen with half dozen price. I would recommend this place! I want more donuts!

What a great change up from classic donuts. You can't go wrong with Japanese style mochi donuts in general, but this place managed to perfect the chew on these. Everything was fresh, no old oil taste, and all the flavors were just sweet enough without being over the top sugary. Everything was so addicting that I could eat a bunch in one sitting, but they do last decently well into the next day. My favorites were definitely the Taro Pebbles, Strawberry Pocky, and Cookies & Cream with Cookie Butter. The Cinnamon Toast Crunch was definitely underrated. The Matcha Pistachio and Ube Glaze were still good, but the flavor profiles I feel are hard for most places to master and really bring out. Realllllly looking forward to their next set of rotating flavors.

Very good donuts! We love just the plain ube flavor as the other ones are too sweet! One major downfall is the donuts taste and feel extremely different after sitting for just a couple hours so I always feel pressured to eating them all within that time frame. Wish they kept better! Service is always a huge hit when we stop by as well:)

In all honesty, I would give this place a 4 star because for being my first experience trying one of these trendy doughnuts, it's pretty pricey. But you can't complain when you didn't pay for it :D I don't even know where to start! I got the fruity pebble one and when I got home, I pulled apart one bubble at a time, expected it to be more "mochi-textured" but wow, it's one of those things you have to try to know it! It's like doughy but gooey and like soft but firm? Like how do you explain the texture? I also was a bit nervous because some people say it's too oily and greasy but I didn't taste straight up oil, only deliciousness in my mouth! I have to say my favorite part is how there's 8 individual pull-apart bubbles and it's like 8 doughnuts in 1 almost haha. "Bet you can't just have 1" applies to this doughnut because before I knew it, it was all gone! I can see how dangerous it would be to buy a whole box!! But again, I'm a bit disappointed in price but overall, great experience and first impression! I guess I'll join the wagon and say it's worth the hype!

I LOVE mochi doughnuts and love every bit of their chewiness, sweetness, mochi-ness... the goat of doughnuts to me. My friend picked these up and I tried both the pistachio and the ube. Noticed that they kept their structure, weren't at all greasy, and were both chewy and pillowy upon biting into. Beautifully decorated overall and a great portion size. I liked pulling off search round section one-by-one to eat. There was cinnamon toast, ube, pocky, and pistachio. I tried the ube and pistachio. I wouldn't say the flavors scream out to me or that they are overly sweet with the icing and toppings. Basically mild in flavor - but not in a bad way. They were tasty and I'd happily eat again if someone else brought them to me or bring as a fun dessert to a party. I don't think I'd make an individual trek out just for myself though.

Best Mochi donuts. imo The perfect dessert compliment: not too sweet and had the right texture/consistency. The dough was chewy yet not sticky. The glaze wasn't too sweet but just enough. You can definitely taste the subtle flavors that they used to create their masterpiece flavors. My top 2 favorites would be the matcha Oreo and the coffee red velvet. Yum yum yum! They were ALL delicious!

Delicious donuts with a light sponge texture. My kids loved them. They were not overly sweet, but just right. Simple straight forward options Whit unneeded complexity. The convening location makes this an easy spot to revisit.

Dochi is one of my must-stop when going to Seattle. This is our first time going to the Lam seafood location which I ended up liking better. It goes by faster because of where it's located. Uwajimaya you'll have to walk to the end back of the store to get to dochi, whereas here it's around the corner as soon as you walk in. The ordering is pretty fast and simple! Dochi delivers this soft, chewy and light airy donut texture that I simply can't find at other places. Their donuts are not very sweet either, which is factor I do love. They usually have 6 flavors and sometimes those flavors can change; sometimes they have seasonal flavors. I'm giving it four stars instead of five because I feel like some of the flavors are not completely there. It's very subtle. Other than that, I think it's an overall great donut and can be addicting. I don't normally see or have that dry problem after a couple of hours, it's usually get dry after leaving it for 2-3 days. First day eating it fresh still very chewy and soft. Some of my favorite flavors are: Ube bae & churro churro & strawberry pocky! Definitely give dochi a try if you love donuts as much as I do!

Dochi is ADORABLE! It's a little spendier than your typical donut, but it's comparable to any fancy pastry treat. These little chewy donuts are very photo friendly, from the mint green theme of the location, sturdy & sleek mint green donut boxes, to the tasty coatings and toppings. They only had 6 flavors, so a half dozen was the perfect way to try them all and share. The donuts themselves were also prefect for sharing, since each donut is composed of 8 little dough balls squished together, making for 8 perfect little bites. Favorite flavors: Ube glazed, Strawberry Pocky, & Taro Pebbles. The ube & strawberry flavors stood out. I didn't find much hazelnut or caramel flavor in the Twix and Ferrero Rocher donuts. Altogether they aren't tooth-achingly sweet and definitely best fresh!

Wow - after a year-long break from eating out and take-away food due to COVID, we are finally venturing out again. Finally made it to Dochi last weekend. We hit the one in Southcenter, in Lam's Seafood food court. They sell 6 flavors a day, so got 2 of each flavor. Box of 12 cost $28 - a bit pricy I think, but o.k. price for the novelty of it. You also end up with a nice box, which looks like it must be cost several $ alone. Anyway, we found the dochi itself to have a wonderfully pleasing feel in our mouths; like a raised doughnut, but more springy/chewy - my wife, son and I really liked them. Taste-wise, the plain dough itself tastes like a richer raised doughnut. We also tried the ube (purple yam) dough ones - we cared for these less, as they were not as fluffy as the regular ones. They vary the icing and toppings they put on them. We cut them up and tried them all. Ours had macha and pistachios (my wife's fav), chocolate and peanuts (my fav), fruity pebbles, crushed Oreos (our son's fav), and cocoanut (on the ube ones, and my fav of the 2 ube styles). We quickly got OD'd on all the sugar, so I moved them into an air-tight container, and we have been eating them bit-by-bit over the last few days. Still very tasty!

Wow! I knew what treat I wanted after cutting out sugar for 6 mo... DOCHI! FANtastic! I love the lightness of this donut without the heaviness of gluten. Slight crispy outside and oh so chewy soft inside. Made from rice flour and coconut milk this is a great option for dietary and straight up heaven in your mouth! I can't believe I'm giving them a 3 stars but here I am. Dochi makes mochi donuts, in the shape of a teething ring. They sell flavors that are a mix of Asian ones like ube and matcha and Americanized ones like chocolate and churro. It's not cheap, about $3 each depending on how many you buy. Food: It's great if eaten immediately. 5 stars We bought 6 and ate two immediately. There's a light bit of crunch from the frying and that excellent yield from the mochi texture. If eaten after a few hours - 2 stars, maybe 1 star By the time we ate the others, about 4 to 5 hours later, it was mushy, and we can't pickup the entire ring anymore without it falling apart. It was borderline disgusting. We chose the flavors of matcha, taro, and strawberry Pocky. Matcha has the most distinctive flavor. The others were "okay", not good or great. This location is inside the new Lam's Seafood Market in Tukwila. Parking is plentiful.

Delicious! Love that they opened a second location here in the plaza with Best buy and party city! It was quick, clean, and easy to order (with a plastic wall covering the whole cashier counter, and everyone was wearing mask/gloves, and hair nets which I appreciate so much) The person packing my donuts was friendly and knowledgeable! I'll definitely be back here to buy more dozens!

I've already reviewed Dochi at the Chinatown-International District (C-ID) location, but to sum it up, I love Dochi! I'm not usually into donuts because of their soft texture and overall sweetness, but to me, Dochi is the opposite. The donuts are chewy and don't seem as sweet as typical donuts (aka: Krispy Kreme). I love Dochi's rotation of creative flavors and overall cute branding. Dochi would make a great gift or substitute for birthday cake! My brother recently asked me to buy a dozen for his birthday. This shop is located in the food court of the Lam's Seafood Asian Market in Tukwila. I would recommend parking in the main lot of the Parkway Super Center, where Ulta Beauty, Red Robin, etc. are located. There is a direct entrance at the corner next to Party City into the food court of Lam's Seafood. Otherwise, you can park on the other side of the building where there is designated Lam's Seafood parking.

Dochi: I finally got to try the craziness of these Mochi Donuts. For me they were not anything special. I guess I don't have a pallet for these types of donuts. They are a little bit different and the dough has a nice chewy consistent. They are a little pricey for what you get. I'm giving 4 stars for the excellent customer service with a smile. And the presentation of the donuts in a super nice box they are in. Lol... This was a cool novelty for me, I think I'm going to stick with my mom and pops donut shop. But for sure everyone should give them a try for themselves...

Assorted dozen $30. Jeesh. Presentation ~ pretty picture worthy decorated doughnuts in cute box (good gift idea for the office). First bite, chewy goodness. 2nd dochi, different flavor ~ hmm same taste. 3rd dochi, different flavor ~ hmmm same taste. 4th dochi, different flavor ~ hmmmm same taste. Only the matcha had some distinction IMO. Overall, light on the sweetness Asian style, fresh, frosted fun stop. *Tucked inside the Asian grocery store, almost a food court.

If you love mochi, do try mochi donuts! They are crispy on the outside and chewy in the middle; though, I did suspect it to be even chewier similar to a true mochi. We tried every flavor they had - ube glazed, strawberry pebbles, coffee red velvet, ube coconut, chocolate almond, matcha & strawberry pocky. Our favorite was the matcha & strawberry pocky; consisted of the perfect amount of both matcha and strawberry! They even drizzled strawberry and added strawberry pocky sticks on top. Our least favorite was the chocolate almond. The almond flavor was very heavy and overpowering - could not taste the chocolate whatsoever. A box of 6 mochi donuts was $15, which is very affordable! Parking was a breeze as it's inside a plaza, making it very accessible.

If you love donuts or mochi, you need to try dochi! The result of creating a hybrid between the western donut and Mochi, dochi have the characteristic chew of mochi with the delicate crispness of donuts. We tried one of every flavor they had - cookies and cream, coffee and cookie, green tea s'mores, glazed ube, fruity pebbles ube, and strawberry pocky. Cookies and cream and fruity pebbles ube were the standouts for us, but there wasn't a bad one in the batch. As a plus, the bite sized little mochi balls makes it very easy to share your dochi - if you're willing to that is. Half a dozen dochi cost us $15, so they aren't inexpensive, but they are absolutely delicious and unique for those of us from the East Coast and I'd say they're worth it as a special treat.

These doughnuts are different from standard doughnuts in both taste and texture. Good assortment of flavors, clean presentation, friendly service. Very tasty and worth the try.

First time trying mochi donuts and I loved it! The chewiness was exactly as I had hoped. They offered a nice variety of toppings/flavors. Will definitely go back.

I love Japanese Mochi Donuts! They are less greasy and less sweeter than regular doughnuts. Dochi makes incredible variety of flavors of mochi donuts. They are so soft and delicious. Love each of the design of the toppings as well! So far my favorite flavors are the Ube ones. They release new flavors often, make sure to visit their social media platform to find out what flavors they have available. Their service are fast and great! They do ran out of donuts sometimes so make sure to visit them early. I've been to both Tukwila and Seattle location and both are highly recommended. They serve individual, half dozen or a dozen servings. I love their donut boxes, it has a cute color and notes inside the box, which you can also write a "to" and "from" notes if you'd like to give it as a gift to someone.

I've been here a couple of times now for over a year. I do like the fact that they have a limited menu so it makes my life easier when choosing the flavors - I'm quite indecisive when it comes to any menu. In terms of a great mochi donut - I've had better, especially those in Hawaii. But Dochi here is quite decent and if you come early when they're opened, the fresh batches are actually crispy outside and chewy inside. But come anytime after 12 Noon and it's been consistently soft and a bit stale. I think the display case for these donuts actually make them more stale the longer they sit out. Hence why an airtight, sturdy box doesn't do anything to help the integrity of the donut besides being a pretty box. I will of course be back because where else can I get mochi donut?
