"Dockside seems like a pretty typical diner. It’s a casual space with counter seats and a few booths, and it has a big menu with about 20 types of omelets, as well as sandwiches ranging from grilled cheese to one with Cajun mahi mahi. But the simple-sounding food is all excellent, and it’s right on the water. So if you’re lucky, you’ll be able to watch paddleboarders fall into the bay as you eat your banana and walnut pancakes." - alison kessler, regan stephens, matt tervooren, tonya russell

Very cute diner! It is small inside and they don’t have water front seating out the back, but The inside is lovely. There is street only parking. The food selection for breakfast was nice but it was over $50 for two people and it wasn’t an overabundance of food for the price. The cream chipped beef was very good and the pancakes are large and fluffy. I would definitely return.

Great food at reasonable prices!! We got the cinnamon bun french toast, the cinnamon roll pancakes, and a coffee and the bill was $30 before tip. HIGHLY recommend the french toast.. I was in heaven! They have handheld machines that you can use to easily pay the bill or split it if needed. The staff are all friendly and nice. I liked the retro vibe of the restaurant and the music they were playing. Great spot for family!

Food was amazing! I personally enjoyed the mint chocolate chip milkshake, the lobster bisque, and the mahi tacos. They were all delicious, my server was very nice and served everyone at the restaurant their food in a timely manner. The atmosphere was awesome, the old feel with the music at just the right noise level was so fun and hope to make it over here again!

Good diner food. Very NJ. French toast Napoleon, sailors omelet and quesadilla de la manana ( with side of eggs and corned beef hash). Fresh squeezed oj. Recommend the hash.

Very cute place!! Women owned and run, the service is very kind and welcoming. They have cozy tables surrounded by vibrant florals outside under a canopy. It’s classic great diner food that everyone will like. Family friendly foods as well. I recommend the French toast and lobster bisque! :)

I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Dockside and I must say, it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. From the warm and inviting atmosphere to the delectable menu, everything exceeded my expectations. First and foremost, the service was top-notch. The staff at The Dockside were incredibly attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. They made us feel welcome and ensured that our dining experience was nothing short of exceptional!! Now, let's talk about the food. The menu offers a wide range of delicious options to suit any palate. Breakfast, lunch and dinner-and my family enjoyed every bite! In addition to the fantastic food, the portion sizes were generous, leaving us completely satisfied. The ambiance is another aspect that deserves praise. The cozy and charming decor creates a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere, perfect for enjoying a meal with friends or loved ones. Whether you're looking for a cozy meal for two or a gathering with a larger group, Dockside has the perfect setting. Overall, the exceptional service, delectable cuisine, inviting ambiance, and great value for money make it a true gem If you're looking for a memorable dining experience, look no further than Dockside. I guarantee you won't be disappointed!

They raised prices due to inflation and quality went to downhill. This use to be my favorite spot. Now it’s overpriced and average

Stopped in for a quick bite after a long day at the beach. The best part about this place was watching the staff hang together while it was slow. We were the only table at the time, and the staff was hanging out together, laughing and enjoying the down time. It says a lot when the staff enjoys each other's company. The food was just what we needed, and Grace, our server was so warm and friendly. New favorite beach stop.
