Amazing bakery in South Philly! Really well-priced items and a good spread of savory and sweet options. Definitely stop by. The steamed (or baked) pork buns are super good.

Wow so many well priced and delicious options. I love how many savory pastries there are. My favorite things we got were the pork floss bun and the pork rice ball. The bubble tea was also really excellent. I got a mango pomelo sago which I loved. Can’t wait to come back !

Thank you, Dodo Bakery! Placed an order for a 3-tiered customized cake for my parents’ anniversary party & they did an amazing job. There were a few communication issues in the beginning, but those were easily resolved. I later completed the ordering process through Crystal & she was kind/responsive. The cake’s appearance came out exactly how I wanted it & the actual taste was superb. My parents & their guests had so many compliments. Will continue recommending this bakery to others! :)

I love the dodo! They make the best cream corn buns and scallion buns 🤤. I usually order the large honey lemon green tea w/ popping lychee and a slice of lemon but this time around they didn’t add the lemon, bare minimal pearls and atleast 60% ice 😅, I didn’t realize until after I got home….My other experiences are great but let’s just hope this isn’t a reoccurrence and if you are new to this place always ask for minimal ice which I forgot to do so 🥲 Overall 8/10 The workers are polite and will give you helpful insights when placing a new order on a drink/baked food you are unsure of 😄

What a cute find. Lovely little bakery with tons of traditional Asian options (buns, custards, etc.). Mix of savory and sweet. We ended up getting a LOT of things as we had so much trouble deciding between everything and everything was so cheap! Some were better than others but definitely glad we got a nice array. They also sell bubble tea but we opted to skip this this time.

if i can give it zero star i would. Came in because i heard so many good thing just to end up feeling sick after. I have gotten one of their corn bun but it tasted sour and yet they still decide to sell them. The same time the staff there was really slow and was unprofessional. I wouldn't come here and would not recommend it to anyone else.

My husband and I randomly stumbled in here one afternoon after noticing the cute signage as we drove by. We are so glad we did because this place is a solid 10! It’s fairly rare to see an Asian bakery outside of Chinatown (that isn’t Paris Baguette), so we were very excited to try as many things as possible. We got a couple of steamed buns, the regular egg tart, pandan egg tart, scallion sausage roll, cha siu pastry, and egg yolk with mung bean pastry to name a few. Everything was delicious and well-made! The young man working behind the counter was also extremely courteous and allowed us to mix and match a couple of items so that we could try more of their selection. We will definitely be back to try more of their baked goods and their bubble tea!

I ordered a custom birthday cake for my aunt and it’s unacceptable that I paid $48 for a cake to have a handwriting similar to an elementary student. I was so embarrassed to give this to my aunt. I had to scratch it off with a toothpick and bought cookie icing to rewrite the wording. To make it worst, the cake inside was mainly cream and fruits. There’s very little cake parts to it. Everyone who ate the cake all agreed it was too much cream. In addition, I bought one of those strawberry cake in a cup and I threw most of it out because I found a hair inside and again, there was too much cream and fruits and not enough cake. The mango smoothie was also lacking as they used unripe mangos, so the taste was unsweet and the smoothie was yellow instead of the typical orange color.
