"This doggy social club has a full garden for pups to run around that is open year-round (but it’s closed off to pooches on Mondays for kids night). Non-members do have to pay an entry fee here, which is $10 per dog on weekdays and $15 on weekends. While pups enjoy pup cups and treats, owners can order tavern-style pizza, delicious cocktails like a peppercorn gin and tonic, and craft beers. The sleeper hit on the menu is the focaccia sandwiches, made on fresh bread from a local bakery. Dog Daze Social Club boasts a 6,000-square-foot “dog garden,” with pooches welcome from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday and the indoor space open till midnight on weekends. The laundromat and parking lot at the busy intersection of 11th Street and Rhode Island Avenue NW transformed into a classy, green-accented restaurant with a small covered patio and a weekly deep-cleaned, turf-covered yard that resembles a garden party with sturdy picnic tables and padded armchairs shaded by striped umbrellas.
