Who doesn't love a good hot dog? The temperature outside was 94 ° with humidity at an astounding I don't know what. I was suffocating in my car and I had to pull over to get some rest. And lo and behold this wonderful restaurant was right there for me. The interior was chilled properly from the AC and it was spacious and had massive big screen TVs showing all the cool things that everybody likes to see. But something else got my attention and this was not something I normally see. Near the entrance there was a "Speedball" that boxer is used to train themselves in hand and eye coordination. This was my first time that I ever had the opportunity to use this training tool for boxers. Let me tell you I turned into a child and was having the time of my life. Now of course I wasn't perfect. However I saw that I was improving after only 10 to 15 minutes. One of the employees however showed that I needed plenty of practice which would also involve eating lots of hot dogs! I took a video of it because it was almost like watching Mike Tyson for a minute. I am totally committed in going back to this place to eat hot dogs. However going back to practice boxing actually was a perfect idea to get more customers to come into this wonderful restaurant. I mean who was the genius behind that idea? So the invitation is now being sent to all people who love hot dogs and who love boxing that this is the place to hang out because it is a place of fun and relaxation. Don't take my word for it but come and see for yourself.

Today was the first time I’ve been to Dog Haus, I was meeting a friend. Perhaps I should have been paying closer attention to the name “Dog Haus” and ordering a dog would improve the experience. We met close to 12:30, there were a couple of tables with customers, and a few that looked like the plates had been bussed but not wiped down. The noise level was conducive to easy conversation. My friend ordered 2 “Roadside” sliders and I ordered 6 “Roadside” sliders. My friends came out looking exactly like one would expect, two small patties in between two buns. The patties on mine were chopped up and almost burnt to a crisp. I wasn’t expecting them to be chopped. When I asked the server about it they had to check with the kitchen. Subsequently, I was told that if I were to order 2 they came as patties and if I ordered 6 they came chopped. So be it, I didn’t know, either way burnt is burnt (see picture). I must admit the flavor was good, just difficult to chew ground beef pellets. Dog Haus seems like a convenient place to go for a beer after work. If I go back I’ll be trying a dog.

Google
Dog Haus is back! The old ownership really let things go before they closed, but as of the April reopening, things are great! The place was well staffed, and everyone was incredibly friendly and upbeat. The menu was refreshed (although I am missing some of the dog selections), and the food was fresh, fast, and fantastic. Glad it was able to be resurrected under new management! Edit: the new ownership is Logan Paul. I have mixed feelings about that lol

Google
Would recommend the hot dogs if you’re looking for a simple bite. The sausages could have been bigger, it was small considering the size of the bun. Place was ok, didn’t seem the cleanest. Fries were ok too, simple air fried fries.

Let's start with this was our favorite place to go. They recently closed and re-opened "new and improved" for whatever reason. This is the downfall. Visited for Father's Day, big mistake! 1) hot dog and fries were completely cold. No hint of warmth 2) beer selection changed to be more generic and beers were flat 3)staff, two younger employees, were more than willing to correct things but had ZERO personality or customer service skills. Didn't talk to us or anyone, didn't greet us or the other customers in line, dude just stared waiting to take our order. No apologies for cold food, no meaningful interaction, no politeness. (When we had issues with food quality simply said "ok" and walked away, wasn't even sure if they were gonna fix or do anything due to their non caring attitude. 4)Food was not as quality as before. $15 dollar salad, was cabbage mix. $10 cold hot dog I miss how this place was before restructuring and the prior employees who were friendly and liked their job. Changes aren't always better :(

We got to go food for the office and I did not really enjoy it. So I can't comment of the restaurant or its service. The chicken sandwich was designed for looks, not for eating. The 4 rolls as a bun doesn't work because the rolls want to tear apart. They toast them but, the way they are sliced the bottom portions were too thin and it fell apart. The chicken portion is great but, it's in 2 massive oversized tenders so you basically just get massive bites of chicken in-between falling apart rolls. Every bite shedding more of the sauce and toppings out of the side. I guess if you want to mukbang it's a solid option. There is lots of good flavor here but, the design is off. It looks great but, eats bad. Tastes fine but, you can't get a good bite of everything all at once.

Okay guys I had to rave about this spot. Dog Haus Biergarten. The atmosphere is amazing. It's in a shopping center, a bar and grill setting. The windows and doors open up to the outside patio area where there's outside seating. We were greeted with a beautiful young lady with amazing customer service. Since it was my first time there, she patiently. assisted me through the menu. I ordered the cheese burger. OMG so delicious. It was on Hawaiian bread and also had a special sauce very tasty. My mom ordered the wings. They were so juicy, tender, meaty and flavorful. The chicken tenders ( fried) you can also order the tenders grilled. They were packed with flavor big and juicy. I prefer the regular fries and cheese fries. They offer sweet potato fries as well. There's also a bar and a wide variety of beer. A perfect spot for happy hour. But kid friendly. I'll definitely make this place one of my regular stops when I'm in town.. I swear the waitress made me want to be her best friend. Awesome place to visit 👍🏾👍🏾😊

Google
One of my favorite places to eat. The hot dogs and sausages are very good. Found this place because my brother would order burritos from here and decided to dine in one day and found out it was a ghost kitchen out of Dog Haus. Glad we came in that day because i recommend this place to anyone that asks about hot dogs. The Big D is my go to every time, and their sweet potato fries are very good! Ive started to order them more than regular fries and tots.

Yelp
The selection of dogs are amazing with the Hawaiian sweet rolls buttered and toasted (hallelujah). Great inside but especially outdoor seating for kids and pets. This is one of my family's go to spot when we're craving for their specialty dogs.

Yelp
Ordered directly from Dog Haus Richardson, TX website, they charged my credit card, then informed me they could not deliver the order, they could only take my money. Now I must call Corporate and get the standard customer service run around trying to get a refund. This place has always been problematic and at one point was closed by City Health Services

Yelp
We were so excited it had opened back up but definitely seem to be some issues. After we received our order we were missing our tots and fries. We were assured the kitchen was working on them, but 20 minutes later there were still no sides. Turned out that the sides were not being cooked and had been forgotten. Our whole party had finished their meals by them time we got the sides. Overall flavor of everything was good, but definitely not what it used to be.

Yelp
I decided to visit here a second time because I really liked the quality of hot dog I tried before. This time, I decided to order a burrito, though. I looked at the menu, and most of the burritos were around $10. I decided to go with a burrito that was not in the menu due to limited time only. However, the cashier charged me over $16. It was quite strange given that only difference about this was that it has chickens. When I got the burrito, other than special ingredients like sunny side up eggs and tater tots, and it was not any better than even Chipotle. It was greasy, and about 3/4th size of Chipotle burrito. Considering the food quality, I would just give a three star. However, the price that she charged me was little ridiculous. I don't know whether that is the real price or not, since the price was not listed for this item, but it was definitely not up to the quality of over $16.

Yelp
Love their hot dogs. They use Hawaiian bread and it is delicious! Tots and drinks are great.

Yelp
Food. Yes. So good Service. Yes they were really cool Ambiance. Oh yeah. Beer food and sports. Yes please!!! New go to when in town. I had the hot chick and tots. Oh so good. And a bit of heat. Nom nom everyone else n the group loved it. Look forward to trying some of the craft beers and other menu. Coming back!! Sorry there wasn't better photos. Got side tracked. But good space and seating. Thanks Dog Haus!!!!

Yelp
I feel so torn on the experience, I loved the vegan bratwurst and the regular fries and sweet potato fries were SO good. However, i don't think the price is worth it. It's definitely casual bar food where you wouldn't spend the night socializing there- when I think of that atmosphere I tend to think lower prices since I'm only paying for the food itself. For 2 bratwurst, 2 sides, and two alcoholic drinks (one being a cider) it was over $50 after tip. I would at least expect larder portions for the sides to encourage me to stay longer to talk and maybe order another drink. For me, the price doesn't match the place but I'm sure there are others who feel different! Also the chalkboard of drinks when you walk in is incorrect and the correct menu is when you approach to order, I wasn't told when it would be updated- but heads up to avoid disappointment!

Yelp
We ordered on DoorDash and we had several items missing, and what we did get was burnt to a crisp. When you call them the number says it doesn't take calls. This is horrible customer service. Called the other locations and they said that they always get complaints from The Richardson location. Food cost too much to be missing and burnt .
google avatar

Yelp
Went to Dog Haus for a quick lunch. We had been to OMG Taco next store. I had the Cowboy hot dog, unfortunately, they were out of bacon. I added sweet potato fries. My wife had a cheeseburger with onion rings. The ambiance was industrial but cleanliness was an issue. Tables and napkin holders appeared not wiped down. Service was average, but everything was hot! I had an issue with Hot Dog Roll (Hawaiian mini-rolls) fell apart while eating. A maybe to return.
google avatar

Judy B.

Yelp
If you like a place with LOUD music then this place is for you. Upon entering the music was way too loud. Decided to sit on the patio and it was still loud with speakers directly above our heads. Thought about moving out to the patio after we got our food but really wanted shade and the only table that was I. The shade was taken. The music made for a very disappointing dining experience. The Chicago dog was ok. I did enjoy the Hawaiian roll it was served on. Ordered it without sport peppers and onions and came with both. Menu said it was served with a bright green pickle relish, which I expected, and it came with 3 round pickle slices. Ordered onion rings and we got 5 rings. Not worth the price Service was ok. Nothing exciting. I guess if you enjoy beer, loud music and mediocre food then stop here.
google avatar

Yelp
Foods great! But when we arrived home, we had food missing! Check your bag. This place usually feels like no one is even working there. The staff disappears a lot. And apparently if you pick up food, you could be missing an entree.
google avatar

Olivia E.

Yelp
The hot tots were good. My husband liked his das brawt (added cheese sauce) However, I don't eat meat and I definitely got served meat in my vegan order.

Yelp
I was seriously jonesing for a hot dog one afternoon. A monkey was riding high on my back and there was no way for me to rid it until I had an acceptable red hot in my belly. But where to go? Dallas is low on the tank when it comes to eateries that specialize in dogs. So I did a little research, including this here website, and decided to give the Dog Haus a try. When I sauntered in on a weekend afternoon, there were only a half-dozen tables occupied. I decided to try the kissing cousin of a hot dog...the Das Brat...which featured a bratwurst, onions, sauerkraut and brown mustard. And did I mention they have tater tots? I've never lost my love of a good tater tot since my early days of a tot myself. The joint is counter service and I got my order in under 15, which was fine. The Das Brat was tasty and flavorable, but the tots were a little too crisp in my book of Tot Cuisine 101. But I'm giving this joint a low three on the magical star rating system. Why, you might ask? Well, to tell the truth, I had to sit outside on a windy day because kids were running all over the inside seating area. While this is a difficult issue for restaurants, especially those that are casual, I refuse to return to a joint which had a problem with kid-control. Enough said.

Yelp
Loved this place. An huge assortment of hotdogs and sausages to choose from. The beers on tap were an amazing plus and the fact that they allow dogs on the patio is amazing! Staff seemed happy to be there and the service was fast and attentive. A great local place we will return to over and over!
google avatar

Matt G.

Yelp
Awesome place! Friendly staff, helped us make our choices. Food was great, recommendations were great. If you like hot dogs, definitely worth a visit.
google avatar

Trisha M.

Yelp
Came in to watch part of the game here since they have ciders on tap and my friend loves ciders. Oddly, the menu isn't all inclusive of all the drinks they have so just be aware of that. I was looking forward to trying some of their sausages and having the spicy basil aioli. However, after bringing out my order, I was told they were out so I asked for another dipping sauce, which I never got. After sitting there for 5 minutes, a gentleman walks up asking for more spicy basil aioli and was promptly given some. I don't understand how they didn't have any for me but this gentleman was now getting his second round of the sauce. Consistency in service is definitely lacking here and sadly I was pretty turned off from this place this time around on if I wanna come back. Service is key to me and to be different to different customers is not ok.

Yelp
I stopped by this restaurant for take out on a whim! I was excited because they had plant based options. The restaurant was very clean and in a nice area near a beer garden (if you are a beer drinker). Service was quick and easy and the wait for our food did not take too long. I had the SOOO VEGGIE and it was delicious! My babe had the T-Mex and really enjoyed! I would definitely go back especially because there are other items on the menu I would like to try.
google avatar

Appal B.

Yelp
So I have a friend that comes here often! I finally got to try them out yesterday and omg!!! I'm so happy I did! The place was very clean & I do believe I peeped outside sitting. We sat at the bar & the server was really kind. From what I can the happy hour is the truth & Sunday they have all day happy hour! So I order the TOO Chi with a beyond sausage, the beyond slider & cheesy tots! Omggggg! When I say freaking delicious I mean every bit of it!! I'm soo happy! I also tried a yummy pineapple cider! I You might see me in there today!!!
google avatar

Cory H.

Yelp
First time here and the guy at the counter gave me a good overview of the menu and told me the most popular items. I decided to try a sausage and a slider burger. They have a very large beer selection, which is a nice thing. This place does get crowded and can be a little noisy so beware if that's an issue for you. The sausage and slider were very good, however the fries were very bland. Next time I would try them with cheese or get the tater tots. They also have happy hour times where they have specials for drinks and food so I plan to come back for that soon.
google avatar

James P.

Yelp
It says they closed st 10pm online and on their door it said 12AM but we were turned away when we showed up at 9pm. Plenty of people eating inside casually.

Maxwell F.

Yelp
Grease and sauce slopped all over the to go bag. Also tater tots were missing from the order. Food quality has been consistent at least but the management of this place is gone downhill and I blame ownership.
google avatar

L H.

Yelp
Our first time here and we were excited because everything on the menu looked fantastic. I'll start with the positive- the onion rings and brat were so good!! The item that I was most excited about, the chili cheese tots were just ok. The reason I didn't give five stars is because half of the cocktails were not available and the bartender could not pour beers. 1/3 of every beer was foam. We gave up and went next door to the beer garden, where they know how to pour.
google avatar

Ivan G.

Yelp
We love to come here, the patio weather is here and The dogs at awesome. Yeah Lena they have a variety and you should definitely some back them out. Bet options are good and have some games out there for adults and the kids.
google avatar

TJ B.

Yelp
This place is solid. Great food and atmosphere. I've only tried a few things off the menu but there so good. I always order it again instead of trying something new. Cool spot right next to the new beer garden
google avatar

Anthony B.

Yelp
Haven't been here in a minute, so I thought today would be a great time to grab some grub here- ordered online and went to go pick it up. Went inside and waited for 10-15 minutes before anyone spoke to me (it wasn't super busy, nor was there a giant line. One person in front of me and that person had already been helped.) When I finally got help, I gave them my order- it had been sitting on the counter the whole time. Cool cool. By the time I got to eat it, the tater tots were soggy and falling apart; the burger was cold and the bottom bun was stuck to the carton because it was soggy. Paid $20 for cold burgers and tots. You'd think tipping ahead of time would guarantee good service- not so much. I guess if you eat here, just eat on the premises- take out orders may not turn out as expected.
google avatar

Chris K.

Yelp
Not a fan of Hawaiian Rolls for my chicken sandwich. It falls apart when you eat it. The Nashville hot sandwich really wasn't a Nashville hot either, just a spicy aioli and it wasn't spicy at all. I'll give them one more chance and get a hot dog or sausage as the sandwich was subpar. The service was really bad as well. I know it was the 4th of July but there was only one girl taking orders, expediting food, etc. It took 15 minutes for someone else to help her. Pretty pathetic seeing that the whole place was packed.
google avatar

Johnny H.

Yelp
I love corn dogs and the moment I saw this on the menu I knew I had to try it. When I came in though I was in disbelief since they actually also had sausage corn dogs! I decided to get the jalapeño cheddar sausage corn dog with tots and I was very satisfied with my choice. The breading was crunchy and not too thick while the sausage was juicy. I think it is a little pricy for corn dogs but the happy hour deal does make it more worthwhile. My only complaint was that the food was little too greasy. Service was great and there were plenty of options for drinks.
google avatar

Sandy S.

Yelp
Vegans and Vegetarians rejoice! They have you covered with Beyond products. They have sausage and burgers and sliders. The bun concept is nice (Hawaiian rolls). They are dog friendly on the patio. You can enjoy a cocktail or many beers on draft. Bear in mind, business owner, that not all plant-based people like their food to taste like meat. Maybe a bean burger would be a good add?
google avatar

Kiara B.

Yelp
We were seated immediately but then didn't get any service for almost 20 minutes. We had to ask twice for someone to come take our order and provide service. They messed with our order and waited another 15 minutes for it. The food was really good but we were extremely shocked with the extra charge. We were supposed to pay only $31 but the cashier asked $43.4. Is it our fault for getting the wrong order? Sucks!
google avatar

Melissa M.

Yelp
Officially removed from my bookmark and once here I knew I should of came sooner!! I had the cowboy and split the chili kid with my man. Both were great no complaints at all. They are on three Hawaiian rolls and I always underestimate how big these things are gonna be so they were huge!! I was super full leaving. If you have not checked this place out please do you will not leave hungry
google avatar

Melinda S.

Yelp
It's a mix. Not fast food, but not a traditional biergarten. Definitely something in between. The outside area is beautiful! Decorative fountains, picnic tables, casual area. The only downside was the noise coming from HWY 75. Definitely disrupts the vibe. The beer menu supports locals. The food menu was different, creative and fun. I ordered a few sliders. I definitely could have eaten twice what I ordered. They were small portions but worth it. The love boat fries were more like a snack rather than a side. As long as you understand that the portions are small you'll know to order more. We enjoyed the change. It was fun!

Sharon B.

Yelp
Got there and was so sad to see a sign on the door saying closed for now, so maybe they plan to reopen in the future????

Ashley D.

Yelp
Awesome food! I have passed by a hundred times and just tried it out. The tots were crisp and delicious. I also had the Little Mule. It was a great balance of salty and spicy. Can't wait to go back.
google avatar

Allison McMaster ..

Yelp
Fun and laidback with fast service. We had the holy aioli burger and the southwest tater tots and both were excellent!
google avatar

Yellow T.

Yelp
Last two visits were great. This wasn't. Tried ordering in app. Wouldn't accept several of my cards. Went to location. Stood at counter while employees looked at me through kitchen door window. Left and bought Girl Scout cookies instead.
google avatar

Tony D.

Yelp
Great place to enjoy the nice weather outside and sipping a cold one with your friends during their happy hour! The photos and description on the website are spot on with what you get, their app gets pretty comprehensive, so if you are ordering one of their hot dogs, there is soo much to customize if you want. Scott Baioli $6.49 Old Town $6.49 no pickled jalapenos Chili The Kid $6.49 These are my favorite in that order, They are all pretty good, the old town had a great hot dog bite to it.
google avatar

Laura L.

Yelp
The food is great!! I have tried a variety of different items from their menu and have left full and happy each time.

Yelp
I went here to try it out for the first time, I got recommended by guest of mine who came in to eat at a restaurant I work at. They said you try them out @ Dog Haus, here is 2 coupons so you can try them out. I live 35 mins out from there so it a drive. I got off work headed there to use the coupons and buy extra food as well, not just get free food. I showed the employee the coupons I got from them as well that I'm intending on buy extra food on top of that. They got the manager proceed to tell me they couldn't honor them or even take them because she didn't supply them when I explained that they were given to me by guest that I waited on. As in the service industry. This is horrible way to get new customers or honor anything they give out. I recommend people not to come here or give them service. Horrible people. I will be not coming here to eat in the future. like I said I'm a waiter and my guest give them to me, as a good jester.
google avatar

Nevien A.

Yelp
Food was good but the service was horrible. We had a big order we understand that things were going to have some issues. When we brought up that there had some missing items. The manager said I trust my kitchen and they said you got it. And we tried to tell him it's missing. We were Missing 1 cheeseburger and My daughters who's 4 ordered slider with no cheese. My son ordered with cheese and they only brought with cheese. She was starving. Instead of him trying to figure out what happened or maybe that orders were mixed up and maybe someone did in fact have one of the burgers that was missing. He came in with an attitude so he got one right back. I said regardless of the cheeseburger situation, I know for a FACT she didn't get one with no cheese bc they were kids sides. He literally began talking like he was the streets. He was like I'll do that one but not the other. So I'm like well okay make it. He goes don't rush me. I said again my daughter is 4 and she's the only one without food. He began laughing and talking to other customers about us as he laughed saying what I'm the manager. He was so fng rude! So my husband got loud with him like wtf who you talking too. He kept coming by our table just to rile us up. As he continued to laugh with his staff bc he was the manager and we don't matter. It was the MOST unprofessional experience I've ever seen. Mind you, our order was over 150 and we only said 8.99 and 11 dollar item was missing. In that situation he could have tried to double check orders to endure there wasn't a mix up and ask for a minute to see the issue. Instead he said my kitchen brought it out and shut us down. Sad part is he let a 4 year old wait over 1 hour for food and thought it was funny. Dude obviously let the manager role get up his head and wanted to look cool.

Yelp
Solid food; I moved here from the West coast and was enthralled by their serving breakfast burritos. They're really good. That said, gotta be one of the most impatient workers working that kitchen in the morning because they can't seem to cook an order of fries fully to save their lives. "Jonathan, why do you need fries in the morning with a breakfast burrito filled with tots?" I'm glad you asked. Shut up. This is America, damnit, and if y'all serve fries with your breakfast, I'm going to get some. I just ask they be cooked with a smidge more care than your run of the mill 3AM drive thru worker would put into it. All hungover and out of it. Nah, Dog Haus needs to do better.
google avatar

Ashley D.

Yelp
This place just hits! I love this place! I do not really eat much American style food, but dog haus just got it spot on. I would highly recommend this place to anyone! I am sure this place converted me to only eat my hog dogs and burgers with Hawaiian buns. I tried the cholula burger and Scott baioli and let me tell you that both of them were delicious af! Although they were delicious, it is just a smidge too salty for me but it was tolerable and I still enjoyed it overall. I love all of their special sauces and honestly think that whatever you get, it will be delicious
google avatar

Yelp
Very inventive food choices and portions are good size. One dog will be enough. Fry's we're excellent and the service was quick and friendly.

Yelp
The food was DELICIOUS and the service was awesome! We took forever deciding on what to order our first time, but staff were super friendly and helpful with choosing. The food came quickly, was cooked perfectly and tasted like each piece was crafted with love. I ordered a little mule with impossible patty, hold the cheese and he got the Ringer. We shared chili cheese tots. Both burgers (beef and impossible) were excellent. The tots were perfectly crispy under the chili cheese. Everything was wonderful with the minor exception of a soda machine that could use repair, although staff offered to assist with drinks, so it wasn't a big deal. Will definitely return!

Yelp
Finally writing a review for this place, and I really should have long ago. We stop by here regularly, usually on a Sat or Sun afternoon when we're out running errands. Besides the outdoor seating being particularly unkind if you are wearing shorts ('waffle thighs' is our term for it), no complaints of note. Great food (I get 'The Fonz', my other half the burger), great beer selection, friendly staff. What's not to love?

Yelp
I came here with a group of friends for some drinks one day after work and while I didn't have any food, the drinks were reasonably priced. I found parking pretty easily. I will say the place is pretty small, and the seats were VERY uncomfortable in my opinion. Very chill atmosphere. I would give it another try for food some other time. They also gave koozies that were really cute for all canned beers!

Yelp
This is my first time ordering and the beef patty was raw. Hopefully the microwave can finish cooking it

Yelp
Place was really good and inexpensive. They have a good assortment of plant based and meats. Everything was delicious! We husband had the Chicago hot dog and chilli cheese tots and I had the hangover burger with no bun. They were all really good! I have attached pictures. Also seems like a good place if you enjoy beer and they have happy hour. The play area next door seems like lots of fun for kids.

Yelp
I went to Dog Haus for the first time last week with friends. We went for happy hour right after work. After arriving we sat at the bar. The seats at the bar were uncomfortable, so we went to a table. Dog Haus is an indoor/outdoor restaurant. It has a fun, laid back feeling. After sitting at the table we went to the bar to order our drinks and food. The drinks were very strong and tasty. I had a Long Island off of the happy hour menu and it was less than $4. The price was very affordable. I also tried the cheeseburger sliders on the happy hour menu. The were tasty. I will come back to Dog Haus for happy hour. I will also go outside and play games next time. Someone mentioned that they show movies outside on the lawn area on the weekend.
