Check this out, normal happy hour from 4PM to 7PM everyday under $5. I visited during Labor day weekend and happy hour was all night at the bar #Winning. Try the Teishoku Sets, specifically the fried chicken kara-age with brown rice.

I love grilled mackerel. Lightly salted as it says. The salad was delicious with the carrot ginger dressing. The greens themselves were tasty though! Brown rice was cooked well too. The miso soup was just ok

A good spot to grab a quick lunch near NYU. Portions are good. Ingredients are super fresh. It’s not the best tasting don I’ve had but overall it’s solid.

After nearly 40 minutes of waiting for my Udon soup, these people are just horrible at service. Beware it's not authentic Japanese food!! They are not from Japan so please don't be fooled! I left without any food and all they did was say sorry.

Bad customer service (no service at all until I asked). Food was lacking key ingredients (fish cakes and mushroom). They were added to our food when we almost done eating. Definitely not recommend

Been eating here since Freshman days at NYU. Vegetarians, tourists, peeps on a budget- Please eat here. The carrot Ginger dressing is fantastic. My all time fave is the Soy Burger Dinner. The home Fries are fantastic. It's basic and good. Who cares that they're not Japanese. Love always for this place. 5 stars.

I really like the soy burger, topped with cheese and avocado (the cheese and avocado are not on the menu, but make this item memorable.) cost a little extra, but not much... I stole the tip from a friend when we went together, and that's all I ever ordered from them cause it was so good. So glad to see this place is still around. A nice little place, very cheap, a good eat :) Please note I have not eaten anything else here, so I cannot say much for the other items on the menu.

Can't rave about most of the items I've had here. It's a healthy alternative to a nice diner. But, I keep returning for one thing; the vegetables , brown rice, tofu with carrot-tahini dressing. Seems simple but, I haven't been able to duplicate the sauce at home. Plenty of hacks on web, but theirs is best. I feel full and happy after a meal here. Staff have always been great and attentive with water.
