This was my first time trying a Xinjiang restaurant, and it was an amazing experience. A friend and I came here for lunch, and the restaurant is beautifully decorated with traditional cultural objects, which made the atmosphere feel very authentic and welcoming.
We ordered the milk tea, which was surprisingly salty but still tasted quite good. For food, we had the braised lamb, lamb skewers, and cucumber salad. The braised lamb was definitely our favorite — it comes with naan bread already soaked in the sauce. Personally, I might prefer having the bread on the side for dipping, but the flavors of the dish were excellent regardless.
Overall, a great introduction to Xinjiang cuisine, and I’d happily come back to try more dishes.
