"Across the river in Brossard, Dolan opened last August after Ablimit Adil and business partner Ferdos Firket bought a turnkey Cantonese spot; the name refers to a tribe from Xinjiang and the owners have big ambitions to build a well-known Uyghur brand and act as cultural ambassadors. Adil, who grew up in Ürümqi and studied in France before immigrating to Canada, says a few restaurants aren’t enough for Quebec to know Uyghur cuisine, and Firket notes that what they serve is only “like 10 percent of all the dishes from back home.”" - Christopher DeWolf
