Dolly Parton's Stampede

This was a Christmas treat for my family. It was a first time for me, my husband, my parents and 4 yr old granddaughter. We opted for the VIP option. The wait wasn’t too bad, the meet and greet prior to the show was the MC & his comic sidekick. Our server JENNA was on point. Even when my mother pulled the “I’m allergic “ card because she doesn’t like creamy soup. She handled her appropriately; better than I would. There was a lot of food for starters, it was tasty nothing out of the ordinary. The show was highly entertaining and got your competitive side out! Most definitely worth it for adults and older kids.

This is a really great time for the family! Food was better than I expected and the show was consistent. We went with our whole family of 9 adults and 5 kids aged from toddlers to teens, we all had a blast! Definitely a must try while in the area! The show was amazing and their actor for “skeeter” is hilarious!

Typical western style show, with a touch of Christmas in our case as we visited on 12/27/2025. The show was entertaining, but not top notch. The food was, taste wise, okay, but the speed of serving the food felt sometimes a bit rushing through the courses. However the chicken was really juicy, and the soup was delicious. The desert chocolate/coconut cake was to dry, but the apple turnover was quite good. One thing that could be improved is tipping. As more and more people carry less and less cash, there should be an option to tip cashless, for example with barcode that could be generated for each server individually.

This was a good time. We had some little kids with us and they were enchanted. The horses and riders were extraordinary. Such showmanship from all of the performers. The costumes sparkled and were beautiful. The ice skaters added to the wintery feel. There was such a nice variety including singing, rodeo events, trick riding, acrobatics, pyrotechnics, ice skating, dancing, comedy, a magic act, and even the coolest live nativity. No dust kicked up which was nice. The music track sounds like it hasn't been updated since the early 90's, but it works well for the show. You can tell a lot of families have a tradition of going year after year. The bluegrass pre-show was also terrific, so arrive early enough to see it. Considering they are serving a massive crowd food, this was pretty good for a large banquet style meal. The biscuit, chicken, pulled pork, and chocolate coconut cake were delicious. The potatoes were homemade with real potatoes, but they were very underseasoned as well as the corn. They did have salt and pepper at the table. The servers did an outstanding job, especially for how much they have to take care of.

We have been here a couple of times before, so we thought we’d try the Christmas Show. We enjoyed the Pre Show Entertainment, and the opportunity to have a drink prior to the show, if you so choose. There’s a flight of stairs up to the main arena, if you don’t mind, or you can wait on the elevator. It’s a good idea to go to the restroom before you are seated for dinner, as it’s a bit tricky getting up afterwards. The food was good. The chicken was cooked perfectly, and there was a serving of pulled pork bbq, which was a nice added touch. The waitress was very sweet, and attentive. Overall, the show was good. A bit draggy in the Nutcracker scene. The apple pastry at the end is always a nice touch. There’s plenty of free parking, with handicap access. The entrance is ground level. There is a souvenir shop you can also visit. The show is kid friendly. The Stampede, at least for us, isn’t something we would do every year, but certainly worth a visit. Oh, and the early show is a better price.

Literally one of the BEST shows that I have ever attended! (The other being The Bubble Show at DollyWood) Everything about this show was Amazing! Food was Great, Service was Great (Thank You Erik) and the Show was Great!! I am in awe of what a Great event it was lol Literally no other words to say except this was some of the best money spent since living in Tennessee! ❤️❤️

Great value. We recieved a whole small chicken, BBQ pork?, biscuit, soup, dessert, and mashed potatoes and saw a show for about $50 each. Really well done and diverse experience of animals and performers. Really funny and interactive even as an adult. People were very friendly. I would recommend using the e ATM in the stadium before you sit so you can tip. Most of the waitresses also had Venmo/etc

First time attending this show. The lineup just to get into the pre-show area seemed extremely long. They do have live music before the show which is really nice. The venue is clean and large. The dinner is a full chicken, pulled pork, corn, mashed potatoes, biscuit, soup and dessert. It was good. You can't go wrong with any of the shows in Pigeon Forge, but this was my least favourite show of all of the ones that I've seen. It had a lot of variety and different acts, but it felt all over the place. If this is a must see for you, upgrade to premium seating.

We went to Dolly Parton's Stampede for their holiday show, and it really exceeded our expectations. We're more city folks than country fans, but we still had a great time. Our kids, ages 10 and 8, were completely hooked, and the show had plenty of "wow" moments. The nativity scene was definitely a highlight. The food was a pleasant surprise! The chicken was so tender and juicy, the pulled pork was good, and the soup was really flavorful. For dessert, I had the warm apple strudel, which was delicious. My daughters nearly finished a whole chicken between the two of them! The service was top-notch--our waiter was fast and somehow kept the food hot, which was impressive. If you're in the area, definitely book this for your family. It's worth it!

Family of four. Frequent visitor. Christmas show is great. Performers are excellent. It's a shame dolly chooses alcohol and allows obnoxious foul mouthed people to ruin it. Problem is for 4-500 hundred dollars it should Be family friendly all round. Not messed up with rude crude obnoxious drunks. Can't get Away from them once seated. Going to have to rethink future visits until alcohol is removed. Unless you are a drunk, you can go two hours without. Or some way not to expose my family to obnoxious foul mouthed drunks again. Ruined what should have been a great evening. The food is decent enough.

Dolly Parton's Dixie Stampede has been one of my favorite places to visit since childhood! Over the years, I've seen many shows, and they've always been nothing short of amazing. The performances are filled with talent, excitement, and that signature Southern flair that keeps you entertained from start to finish. The food is outstanding--hearty, delicious, and served in generous portions that ensure you leave satisfied. The staff is incredibly attentive, always ensuring that you have everything you need to enjoy your experience. Plus, the gift shop is a fun stop after the show, filled with unique souvenirs that make great keepsakes. One of my personal favorites is their creamy soup mix, which I always make sure to grab to take home. It's perfect for enjoying during the winter season, bringing a little bit of Dixie Stampede warmth to those chilly days. If you're looking for a fantastic night out filled with entertainment and great food, this is the place to be!

So enjoyed this spectacular show and dinner. We got the VIP passes and due to traffic we were late for our tour, however the awesome staff let us come back after the show to get all we missed. The show and MC were wonderful. It was fun and the skills of the riders and the acrobats were fantastic. This is great for all ages. A must see if you get the opportunity . Very well organized and the dinner was good and they have vegetarian and custom options. A beautiful facility.

Aside from a crush of people waiting for the doors to the arena to open, our experience was outstanding! They really have the routine down! Dinner quickly served & cleared, glasses topped off & a yummy dessert to boot! The show was Christmas themed and very fun & enjoyable. Just a good wholesome experience!

Family friendly fun event. I took my toddler and she loved it. Very interactive, the show was half horses, half entertainment which was good enough. The food was surprisingly great. The veggie soup was creamy and flavorful, biscuit was soft buttery deliciousness. The chicken was very juicy, pork was also served and it was tasty as well. The sides were nice, lots of portions so make sure to come hungry. I do think the kids get served way too much food as more than half of it goes to waste, I think serving a smaller portion or different simple menu for them would be less food waste on their end. I purchased the tickets through a 3rd party vendor and had no issues with my vouchers. I would suggest doing this instead of any other touristy things in pigeon forge.

My fall vacation with family was awesome We started the vacation with Dolly's World. Fabulous, good food, excellent entertainment with the show, VIP services across the board! I recommend doing the show if you plan to visit Gatlinburg.

Had a great time. The food was very good, been a long time since I ate a whole chicken!!! Get the apple turnover dessert! The floor show was very good. Our waiter Allen was excellent.

This place is family friendly and fun all around. I took my family to see a show. The food is all served at the same time as the show. The service is super nice they fill your drinks every time they come around. This is dinner and a show and the kids loved it, they even come around and ask if your kids want to participate in the show. That makes it even better. When you go in there a wait to get everyone checked in. They have a bar where you can get pop corn and cocktail or just a coke water or anything pretty much you desire. Very touristy place to eat. They do have BBQ sauce on the table to add to the pulled pork they give you. The sides they give you with your food are delicious and so was the main course. Now this is more of an experience than anything. But don't take my word for it, stop in and enjoy a show with some delicious food. Now you don't get much options in what type of food you get. I think they do that to make sure everyone is served fast. So there is that. Just like any show some of the draw back for going to large shows like this is that the bathrooms are far away and the food choices are set up to feed large groups fast as you can as you can see from the amount of people at the show. Getting in to park was easy, but getting out after the show was a train wreck. It's about the same thing if you go to a concert because of all the people that go. Tipping at the end. Make sure you take some cash with you as you can't add that to your bill. It's not like you get a bill at the end. You pre pay for your show. During the show they tell you to take care of the wait staff.

Yee Haw! We had a great time at Dolly Parton's Stampede dinner show. The food was surprisingly good and discreetly served so we could watch the show. I ordered a glass of wine, and the bartender asked me if I wanted a double. A double of wine? What's that I asked? She said it's two glasses poured into one large souvenir glass, for a dollar less than two separate glasses. I said, Yes! It was ok for house wine, and the cup is a fun reminder of the night. The arena and dining area are clean and comfortable. I do suggest you try to get an end seat if you need to get up during dinner. The arena has benches for dining, and it's difficult to get out if you're not on an end. The show was entertaining. It was their Christmas show, and they include a living manger with real sheep and camels. It was stunning! We recommend this dinner show, especially if you like horses and riding tricks. We had a good time.

We have been annual visitors to Stampede since 1991. Have had some great memories made there. We have always enjoyed the pre show almost as much as the main. We heard it was making a comeback since it had been removed during Covid. So we booked. $69 per adult for 5 adults. Two days before going, we found that they had changed up some items in the menu. Potato wedges are now mashed potatoes. Pork loin is now pulled pork. Sounded good. We arrived. The process of getting in is a nightmare. They now have VIP entrance (why??) and it makes everything confusing. We finally got upstairs in the saloon and sat down in the same spot we always do. That's when we noticed they lowered the stage and you can't see the musicians from upstairs unless you stand. Not good for the people behind you. The musicians themselves were talented, but they appeared to wish they were anywhere else but there. We finally entered the main arena. Our server seated us and proceeded to take drink orders. She also informed us that they now have two desserts. Apple turnover or coconut chocolate cake. I am not a fan of coconut, so I opted for the turnover. While waiting on things to get started, a woman came to try and sell us our photo package. It's too pricy, so we didn't. But... not to disparage or ridicule... I and my spouse both had to turn our heads away from her when she spoke. Her breath was... she needed hygiene lessons. How's that? Most teeth were missing and it was clear she didn't care. I don't belittle people, but if you are working in food industry... hygiene is very important! I wish there was a better way to have written this. I don't feel good about it. But... something needs done. Food started coming our way. The cream of vegetable soup was tasty, but the portion size was much less than before. Then the buttery, garlicky biscuit arrived... except it wasn't buttery or garlicky. It was an every day grands roll. I can enjoy a grands roll... but... WHAT?!? Then the pot came. Instant. No butter. No salt or pepper. Plain. Bland. Instant. Potatoes. The Cornish game hen was good but very greasy. The pulled pork? Sawdust. Dry. As. Sawdust. One bottle of bbq sauce for every ten people. Was not edible. The turnover was hot, so there was that. The show has had some changes. But.. not the ones needed. They took out the most interesting parts and replaced them with cheesy animation. So disappointing. We've loved Stampede for so many years. But... we won't be going back.

Dolly Parton's Stampede is definitely a unique experience to try while visiting Pigeon Forge. The show is nice family-friendly entertainment, and our young children were entertained. It was a nice mix of impressive horse riding tricks, family friendly jokes, and pretty artistic scenes. I would hesitate to recommend the show to families with toddlers who still need a lot of help with cutting their food and eating, however, as it did seem like the adults in our group missed a lot of the show as we were busy with these tasks. I also was quite disappointed in the vegetarian meal option. It sounded pretty good on the menu, but in reality the roasted vegetables were just a steamed bag of frozen California mix with no seasoning whatsoever.

We went to the 8:30 pm show on a Saturday night. The parking lot was very busy, but we were able to find a really good spot. The entrance and waiting area are pretty confusing. Basically, hundreds of people in not organized lines waiting to buy alcohol/beer, etc. We grabbed our drinks - you can buy a Dolly boot cup for $4 extra - and barely made it to our seats in time. The seating is pretty cramped, really disorganized and hard to get to. We had to inconvenience two other couples who were kind enough to scoot down so that we could just sit on the end of our row. The show itself was ok, some funny parts, there were a lot less horse parts and scenes than we hoped for. The food was pretty good, the servers were attentive and friendly. Overall, it was ok. Was it worth $85 a ticket? Not really. We actually left about 5 minutes early to beat the rush of hundreds of people trying to get out and also beat the mess of leaving the parking lot. Overall, a 3 out of 5.

Absolutely loved our experience at Dolly Parton's Stampede. They feed you an intense amount of food and great news for me--they had a vegetarian option! Our server Brittany was so good and on top of everything we needed. It is so hard to describe the spectacle of the show itself but it was wildly entertaining and we all had a great time. I would highly recommend the experience.

Overall, a nice experience where I was entertained and the food was fine. It's "food for the masses" so don't expect a fine dining experience. Our waitress was on her first night and was excellent. Well trained and would never know she was new to the job. The reason for the 4 instead of a 5 star is because I wanted to see more patriotism which comes with a rodeo themed show. Yes, they do a little "proud to be an American" at the end with Dolly's song but I'd like to see our national anthem played, a tribute to veterans (and possibly first responders), and an acknowledgment to those who has fallen as well as POWs. Is it worth the money? Definitely.

Very cool show! Service was great! Show was very good! Loved the pig race and the kids chasing the chickens! Food was good. Soup and biscuit was great! You get a whole tiny chicken, pulled pork, mashed potatoes and corn. All was good except for the corn was mushy. The Apple turnover was the star of the meal! So darn good!! All in all expensive but definitely worth it!

We had a great experience at the stampede today! The entertainment was endless, the service was great, the food was pretty good. Overall it was a wonderful time! Our 5 and 2 year old girls were able to sit and watch pretty much the whole time, so there was lots of action to keep their attention.

1-star food. 3-star show. 4-star service. The food wasn't great. The chicken was dry. The soup tasted like warm milk. The rolls were like eating a cold stale package from the grocery discount rack. The pork was like chewing on jerky. The apple turnover was like from vending machine microwaved or the one at McDonalds but larger portion. The service was good. The show was amusing but not worth repeating. The waiting area was cramped but once you hit dining area it feels much better.

The show was excellent. The service was unbelievable with all the amount of people that were in there they were able to get the food out to each and every person hot and tasty. There was more than enough food and dessert, whether you picked the cake or the pie. They're both delicious.

Following that, the pre-show in the waiting area treated us to delightful drinks and a captivating mini-performance, setting the stage for the main event! As the doors swung open, we were herded to our seats, transforming into enthusiastic members of the festive stampede. The show kicked off right on schedule, and the thundering hooves of the horses marked the beginning of an exhilarating spectacle. Amidst a dazzling display of fire, smoke, and the adorable hustle of cowboys and cowgirls, the show unfolded. The culinary journey paralleled the excitement, with a hot and hearty progression from soup to chicken, potatoes, and a selection of delectable items. Our family reveled in this exceptional experience; it was truly an awesome time. While the alcoholic beverages leaned toward the pricey side, they were a worthwhile investment for the overall immersive experience. Dolly Parton's Stampede proved to be more than a show--it was a festive feast for the senses!

The holiday show was incredible. We were here for the Christmas Stampede 12/7/23. The atmosphere was very festive. Show performers were talented. All the Music and theatrics were very creative, well done and beautiful. the waitstaff were pleasant, nice and very efficient. I realize and knowingly bought $85 tickets for a show that included a primitive dinner concept however I did not enjoy the food. The dinner was exactly how it was described in the online brochure so I knew exactly what to expect so it wasn't a surprise, but I didn't like it. The petite chicken was cooked well and wasn't bad tasting but tearing apart a greasy, little baby chicken with my fingers and teeth while watching a Lovely Christmas performance just seemed irreverent. The slurpy, liquid soup was unappetizing, the biscuit was hard, the corn on the cob was also a little uncomfortable to eat as it kept popping and spitting little kernels everywhere while they were singing about Angels on high. They also do not have diet coke products, only coke zero. Ya'll, It is NOT THE SAME THING. STOP thinking people who drink diet coke are ok with coke Zero, we are not. This coke zero substitution problem seemed to be a theme in the whole Pigeon Forge arena. (Sunliner Diner also didn't have diet coke) Also was a little off-putting that they had signs on the table asking for additional gratuity after paying so much for a dinner and show ticket. Our party of four tipped an additional 15% as requested but thought it was rude to request additional money and falls under the category of excess tipping fatigue. All in all the show itself and cast put on a stellar performance and we were very impressed with it.

Questionable choreography shimmering Christmas lights, eager anticipation, and the promise of a magical dinner show. My recent experience at Dollys Parton Stampede unfortunately resembled a nightmare sketched by a disgruntled poultry farmer. Brace yourselves, readers, for a review that's less "fa-la-la" and more "fowl play." Soup in Lunchables, Hens on Sheet Pans: The culinary nightmare began with our appetizer - "soup," generously described. Imagine lunchroom mystery meat simmering in plastic containers at your table, then unceremoniously dumped into bowls with tinfoil lids. My inner child wept while my adult self questioned basic hygiene standards. The Main Event (or Misfire): The pièce de résistance, a roast hen, arrived perched precariously on a cookie sheet. Think cafeteria chicken multiplied by four, laid bare on a baking tray. Undercooked and unappetizing, it extinguished any remaining flames of culinary hope. Forklore and Seasoning Scarcity: To combat this avian atrocity, you'll need to pack your own utensils. A single, lonely fork graced our table, leaving us battling both undercooked poultry and utensil limitations. Don't forget the salt shaker, either - the blandness will have you yearning for seasoning like a lost sailor for land. High School Holiday Hijinks: For nearly $100 a ticket, I expected Broadway-worthy bells and whistles. What I got was a performance reminiscent of a high school talent show, complete with awkward pauses and choreography. The only fireworks were the sparks of regret flying from my wallet. Save Your Scrooge for Something Else: So, dear reader, unless you have a hankering for undercooked hens, plastic-container soup, and amateur theatrics, avoid this place like Ebenezer Scrooge dodging carolers. Your wallet, your digestive system, and your holiday spirit will thank you. Instead, invest in a cozy Christmas movie night, complete with delicious takeout and actual silverware. It'll be infinitely more magical and far less likely to leave you questioning the meaning of culinary Christmas cheer. Rating: 1 out of 5 Scrooge-approved bah-hums (and even that's generous). Honestly, I did not like Dolly Parton's Stampede and the meal served as part of the experience. It was like a cowboy show with a weird North vs South theme and a little "Hee Haw" television show corn pone humor thrown in (those old enough to remember that old show will understand what I mean). Everyone received the same meal. A dinner served for one was plentiful enough to feed three people, way too much food, but not that delicious. During my service in the U. S. Navy, we had cooks who could serve up better meals prepared for thousands. The show might be better enjoyed by those who have young children or grandchildren to take with them.

This place is special for sure. They always feed you so much food it's unreal. Only issue I have is you can't pick your seats anymore. It's still a great show!!! This place is Military friendly!!!

11-24-2023 Our show started at 8:30, we arrived at 7:45. We waited in a line, which moved very quickly into the ticket booth, then into the Photo Booth. We took photos then listened to a band and drank out of our non-alcoholic slushy boots. The slushes were good especially the strawberry, these were $5 a piece. Our party also got wine that tasted cheap. Our server was so sweet and kept us very happy, I loved her. Shout out to Kenley! The (Christmas) show was good. It had a variety of animals, talents, and jokes. The food was mediocre I didn't think it was very good it's definitely time to switch it up BUT I'm soooo happy they finally got forks! They had Veggie soup, Turkey, a whole chicken, corn on the cob, and half a potato. For desert they had an piece of apple pie which was pretty good but a little bread-y. I also enjoyed the warm towel for our hands but would prefer it after the pie... The show: (possible spoilers) I feel like skeeter used to be more humorous or maybe I'm just older... THE BOX MAGIC TRICK WAS AMAZING IM STILL IN SHOCK... how do they do it?! The dove that flew to the angel oh my gosh amazing! Decor was stunning and the props just wow! I loved the show I will definitely be back I just wish the food was a bit different. Things I would change or add... The menu More of a theme to the show instead of tricks and games... Ice cream with the pie A spoon A longer in depth story about dolly Parton's life

We have a wonderful experience each time that we visit! The price is worth it just for the experience. Highly recommend this dinner show along with Hatfield & McCoy's Family Feud!

Everything Christmas including pigs! We booked last minute and it was such a highlight of our trip! We enjoyed the show, horses, trapeze, singing, pig races, and more! I think they included Everything Christmas Santa and all! The show was so fun! The music, the message and laughs! They include the audience! The service is excellent! You can order alcohol to your seat! They keep you updated on moving in and out. Music here!!! Absolutely Love it! Oh and the food was delish! Whole Cornish hen, potatoes and corn on the cob! Lots of ppl took Togo bags! It was super fun and definitely put us in the holiday spirit!!!!!

Spectacular show, terrific meal and there's not a bad seat in the house!! You MUST go!! If Dolly puts her name on it it has to be good!! And it is! The young waiters and waitresses work so hard to make sure everyone gets the meal items - and the biscuits and the warm apple turnovers are still warm and delicious when you get them - as well as the delicious creamy soup which Brandon our waiter warned us that it was too hot to eat immediately! The chicken served was terrific, potato was perfect size, and everything was delicious!! My drink was water, but I did have a Moonshine Arnold Palmer drink that was very tasty! Next - the show was top notch performances - horsemanship was at the best I've seen, the aerialists on the silks were superb, and the comedy routine had us all laughing big belly laughs! To see long horns and buffalo up close was wonderful, not many realize how great the animals are. Audience participation was a highlight of the show - extremely entertaining throughout for all, including the pigs and chicken chasing. Great fun for all. Dolly's sweet voice singing songs was the cherry on top - and I would expect nothing less. The entire experience was the highlight of my first trip to Pigeon Forge but won't be the last!

This was a fun show! We saw the Christmas show and even though it was after the holiday, they still had everything decked out for Christmas. The show was fun and the riders and entertainers were very good. The food was great, but then real stars of the show are the waiter/staff. They were able to feed everyone and clear the dishes single handedly. They were all very kind and accommodating as well. The location was hard to find parking but once we did it was a great time.

Overall average. Part of the performance which features horsemanship is spectacular unfortunately the majority of the show has filler. Filler composed of inviting audience members to the stage for silly games. I get the horses need rest but 50 percent or more of the show was watching fellow audience members carrying water buckets or popping balloons. Staff-absolutely lovely. Our waitress was warm and efficient. Food-considering they are serving hundreds of people in a carefully orchestrated rush, was actually quite good. Simple fresh and tasty (roasted chicken, roasted pork, corn on cob, soup, desert). Overall-more horsemanship/less pointless filler. One and done experience for me.

Excellent progressive dinner and rodeo show. Very entertaining, especially for kids. They may even ask you to let your kids participate in Chicken races and such. The waiter serves your row of about 20 people and is speedy and non-invasive. There is a music pre show and that's fun too. Overall I'd say go if you have any interest at all!

Kept my three year old enthralled. I was also pleasantly surprised. The food was decent. The service was great. The layout was confusing. The show was entertaining enough for our entire group. We went here as part of a work event and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. Adults and kids alike. Warning for those with animal allergies. I thought I might be ok since I was sitting in the back but I was hit pretty hard with the allergies and ended up sneezing and had watery eyes about half way through the show.

3 stars for the entertainment and setting! The service was good but the food was just soooo much! Think if this place like a medieval times but instead of jousting it's good 'ol American history and fun! Great experience so I'm giving the stars based on that. The hen, potatoe, pork, corn, and apple turnover were just too much and I'd love to know what they do with all the left over food- make a QR code to tell the patrons what happens with the food when it's discarded.

What a fun show to make it to! Kids love seeing horses, characters were great, very engaging, the servers work hard, food is not bad, they keep the place pretty clean, and the plots were nice too.

This was a great experience. The performers were incredible. The serving staff worked their a&)es off. It was very entertaining. They got the audience involved BUT, why do they serve such huge portions of food??? Most individuals do not need A WHOLE CHICKEN along with a biscuit, soup, half a garlicky potato, a slice of pork loin (gross-dried out) and a half piece of corn on the cob. THEN, an apple turnover for dessert. What in the world. I don't even eat that much in a day. Most of the audience are from out of town. What are we supposed to do with the leftovers? The food waste makes me very sad. There's got to be a better way! It's nice that kids are getting free books but the food waste is unacceptable.

The food is a 4-course meal, they start you with a country biscuit with cream of potato soup with no spoon. They then give you a whole small roasted chicken with mashed potatoes and serving of pulled pork. For dessert you'll receive an apple pastry and wet napkin to clean yourself back up. You should arrive about an hour early for the pre-show music entertainment. Tickets run about $70 per person or $60 for military.

I thought the food wasn't bad, and the show wasn't bad. The animals were well taken care of, and the staff friendly. The experience was enjoyable. I field the storyline is week. I truly believe this was an attempt to get away from the Civil War previously featured. I would be interested to know if the local Cherokees were involved in the cultural aspects reflective of them. The dances and songs were cute. The comic relief was enjoyable. I feel that the Pirates show had better food. Now, my child adored it. That made it worth the money-I probably wouldn't pay to go by myself.

The show was AWESOME and very family friendly. The dinner included a delicious creamy vegetable soup, biscuit, pulled pork, a whole chicken, mashed potatoes, corn on the cob and for dessert apple turnover or german chocolate cake with unlimited soda/tea. The vegetarian option was creamy vegetable soup, biscuit entree: black beans, carrots cauliflower broccoli steamed and a quinoa mix in the center with either german chocolate cake or apple turnover Josh was our server and he was EXCELLENT!

Always a fun family activity. They serve you so much food. And do offer to go bags afterwards! We just went and it was the Christmas show. The snow was so pretty

This honestly really surprised me - I saw so many mixed reviews and I was nervous that this was going to be an overrated experience. It was not! The seating is situated so there really isn't a bad view, the food was delicious even though it was cooked and served in mass (I was shocked) and the show was amazing. It was funny, told a good story and had amazing horse tricks; you could even interact with the horses after the show! I don't have a single bad thing to say about the Stampede except the tickets book up fast and we had some issues with the online booking platform, but those were avoided when we booked over the phone instead. If you're anywhere near Dollywood the Stampede is a must do!!

To start we were very excited to see this since we loved the pirates voyage so much in Myrtle beach. We arrived early as they suggest and we don't wait in line very long. We check out the gift area and it's pretty lacking. Definitely needs some new merch. We get inside and head straight to get my daughter's face paint and flag. The lady tells us the face painter is not there and doesn't work the last show. Well that's a huge disappointment because that is one of the reasons we get there early and a highlight for my daughter. Also it should be posted they won't be there so I can choose to spend another $100 to go to the earlier show where it is available. The food was just ok and the show was pretty good. I love the horses and all the animal acts. Skeeter is the highlight of the show and my husband got to participate in some things. I love the patriotism and the opening act in the lobby were phenomenal. So in all would not go to this one again at 200 price tag.

We had a great time, the employees were fantastic. Our server Amy and Thomas was so nice ,they were on top of everything. I would recommend the Stampede dinner show to everyone.

Loved the show and food as always. Always visit each year and saddened to see the show and food adjusted. There are mashed potatoes now that were over spiced and had us missing the baked potatoes. Aspects of the show were removed limiting the nostalgia and historical feel of the show. Lucy everytime.

We went to see the Christmas show at dolly Parton's stampede and we really enjoyed it. It was fun and we enjoyed the food we got. The biscuit and vegetable soup were pretty good, I like dipping the biscuit in the soup. I didn't eat the corn, but that's because I'm not really into corn. The chicken was ok and the fried potato was pretty good. I really liked the apple turnover they served for dessert. The show was a lot of fun, the effects were nice, the actors were good, and the horse riders were pretty cool. Our waiters were pretty nice and friendly. If you want to check this out with your family or friends it's a pretty good time.

We went to the 6pm show on a Wednesday night and it was pretty packed inside, but plenty of parking outside, which was nice. There was a sidewalk where you could see some of the horses, but it was roped off so you couldn't get very close. From that point on as we entered, all the way until we left, I felt like we were a bunch of herded cattle. We were packed in a tight line through the ticket pick up and into a photo section with multiple booths where they took pictures, which they later come around to your seated around to try and sell you. After the photos we were herded into an area with high top tables and what looked like a drink area, but we didn't go up to that. We saw one tiny elevator with a huge line full of families that didn't want to walk up the stairs on the other end of the room. We went up the stairs and followed the crowd to the seating area. Thankfully other people knew where to go because there wasn't much direction. Once we got into the show area we walked down to our section, which was C2. The whole C2 section was one long both, with not much leg or shoulder area. The bench was stiff and not comfortable at all. Each section had their own waiter, which was nice and helped with quick service. Dinner was creamy potato soup, biscuit, whole chicken, potato half, corn and pork lion, with an apple turnover for dessert. The potato soup was amazing and biscuit was soft and buttery. The corn was very good too. The chicken had a very strong seasoning on it and the pork lion was very dry. Didn't care for the potato half at all. The show was decent, parts of it were nice, but my toddler didn't like how loud it was and he was even able to see how the actors held back their horses to try and even up the "competition". After the show they forced everyone out and down a single staircase which led into the gift shop. Overall, for the price of what was paid, I expected more....or atleast a building better suited for the number of people herded through there.

Best dinnershow when it comes to food. Amazing actors. Good interaction with audience. Definitely recommend watching.
