"So you’re a strong believer in getting to the airport three hours early, but you forgot to eat before dashing out of the house. Now you need sustenance, because Biscoff cookies and ginger ale (though unquestionably delicious) do not make a full meal. Keep things simple with the breakfast and lunch staples at Dolores Park Cafe. Bagels, breakfast burritos, and tuna melts are on deck, along with juices and smoothies—a nice alternative to the usual vending machine Naked juice." - Julia Chen

Outstanding architecture : if feels like we are in the living room of a friendly and spacious house ; views of the park and courts gives it a sense of a community; refreshing homemade lemonade; also best cold Americano! Server and barista have heart of gold and their niceness is sincere .

Google
Great service and a great place to get a quick bite to eat. Avocado toast was light and delicious with a Chai Crush smoothie. Menu is full of good eats so I will be returning to try other items on the menu. The place is clean and giant windows open which is perfect on a nice sunny day at Dolores Park.

Ordered a DBL espresso (which wasn’t amazing or special) but the gluten free nutter butter was great! Creamy butter cream between two soft crumbly cookies. Impressed by the taste and price of spring $3. Nice place to sit inside/outside at near Dolores Park. Service was quick too. I’d say go here out of convenience, not necessarily as a destination while visiting.

Typical cafe. I got the breakfast burrito it was really good came with fruits. My friend had a hot chicken chiptole sandwich (don't remember the actual name), she didn't like it and it wasn't hot or tasted like chipotle to her. The lavender lemonade green tea kombucha had a super interesting taste. If you don't like kombucha I do not recommend trying it at all you won't enjoy it.

✅ Wi-Fi 🔌- few Dolores Park Cafe is a homey, nostalgic cafe. I think with all the unique spots that are popping up in the mission, Dolores Cafe's old-school diner vibe actually stands out. The prices are very reasonable and the kitchen yelling Spanish to each other was comforting. I had a Cubano and the Lox Scramble. I was very satisfied with both, and flavor-wise, it honestly was nothing special, but it was very comforting. Sometimes less is more and the simplicity was appreciated. Dolores Park Cafe is your next spot for a chance to read that book that's been sitting on your shelf, or to grab something to-go to enjoy at the park. 20/25

Let me start by saying I love Dolores Park Café and all the other establishments in their family of restaurants Secondly, I live banh mi. They’re my favorite style of sandwich. So when I saw one on the menu I was very excited to try it. It was as if the person making it had never tried an actual banh mi. It was served on a croissant not a French roll - right country, wrong bread. The whole thing started to fall apart as I began eating it. The sandwich was dry, wet, greasy and a blend of mismatched flavors. The tofu was curried and very dry and didn’t belong on the sandwich. For some reason there was grilled pineapple. I love vegan options on a menu but I would steer clear of this one.

Google
Very cute cafe right next to Delores park. Coffee was really tasty! We had a double espresso, decaf skinny iced late, and some pastries. Service was lovely and pastries really good too. Would 100% recommend if in need of a cafe. Said it opens at 7:30am but opens at 7am which was a nice surprise after watching the sunrise!

This legendary SF establishment is one of the most well run cafes in the country. With a location to die for and a staff that keeps you coming back; this place is poised to keep chugging away for years to come.

Yelp
Convenient Brunch Spot with Room for Improvement Dolores Park Cafe, nestled right next to its namesake park, offers a prime location for a casual brunch in SF. The cafe's diverse menu and inviting atmosphere make it an appealing spot for park-goers and locals alike. I opted for the bacon and egg English muffin sandwich, accompanied by a refreshing lemonade. While the cafe nails the basics of a good brunch spot, the execution fell slightly short of expectations. The sandwich, though satisfying, had a few minor issues. The bacon lacked that fresh-off-the-griddle crispness, and the eggs were a tad too runny, even for someone who enjoys them that way. The lemonade, while thirst-quenching, was fairly standard without any standout qualities. Where Dolores Park Cafe truly shines is in its location and ambiance. The proximity to the park makes it an ideal pit stop before or after lounging on the grass. The cafe's atmosphere is welcoming, with a buzz that matches the energy of the surrounding neighborhood. The server was patient and the food was quick to come out as well. While the food quality hovers just above average, the convenience factor and pleasant environment make Dolores Park Cafe a solid choice for a quick, no-fuss brunch. It may not be a culinary destination in itself, but for a casual meal before hitting the park, it fits the bill nicely.

Yelp
Got some breakfast before a picnic at Dolores Park! We shared a lox bagel and french toast. The lox came open face which made it really easy to share! french toast had great texture and a good amount of fruit. We dined in and got a table and felt the cute cafe vibes! Thanks to whoever left their newspaper, we read it at the park.

Grace L.

Yelp
Had a beautiful matcha latte. The matcha was rich and earthy. The design came out perfectly! The cafe also has a wide selection of breakfast and brunch foods! Great vibes for hangouts by the park~

Yelp
Dolores Park Cafe is right on the corner of Mission Dolores Park, and is a great cafe to chill by the park! The location and views from this cafe are really nice. There's a ton of natural lighting and a good amount of window seating available here, for a really pleasant cafe experience. I ordered the Chai Latte and it came out extremely quickly. While it was good, I wouldn't say it was anything spectacular. It was still a pretty fair price for a Chai Latte in San Francisco. I could definitely see myself coming back, given the convenient location, great atmosphere, and kind service. Would recommend checking it out!

Yelp
Cleanliness is such an important aspect of any establishment, so when the first thing I noticed was how appealingly clean the cafe was to the guests and customers I was very pleased! I always find restaurants next to large tourist hubs or local attractions tend to be so low quality. Dolores park cafe is not only quality, but it's lively location adds to how good the food is! Great food becomes amazing when the vibe is right. I enjoyed my coffee and my morning bun was amazing, and seeing the endless amounts of sandwiches was exciting and tantalizing. Their hummus is memorable and enjoyable! With a limited amount of wall outlets but a prime location this cafe is more than worth while. I had an off encounter with one of the employees, she seemed in a rush and may have been having an off day, but everyone else who worked there greeted me with kindness. I will come back over and over, I had a lovely experience!

Alyssa M.

Yelp
Yummy food! Love their bagel plate! Fast service too. Sometimes it's hard to find a table but that tends to be on the weekends. You can always take your meal to go and enjoy at Dolores Park!

Raya D.

Yelp
Pretty good food and GREAT service! Their egg sandwiches always hit the spot. Coffee is strong (not my cup of tea), but everyone loves it! I will have to try their other sister cafes as well.

Layla S.

Yelp
Got an iced matcha latte, they definitely forgot the matcha and even with the matcha added, it wasn't to tasty. 4.5/10 French toast 6/10

Shannon P.

Yelp
Yummy food, cute ambiance, friendly service. Really enjoyed my breakfast burrito and my partner got the ham and cheese croissant which was also good. Good breakfast option if you want something quick and easy

Yelp
I'm the first to admit I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed, but until recently, I didn't realize this was part of a mini-chain of four Park Cafes. I had been to the other three. The one I frequent the most is Precita Park Cafe as their staff is pretty chill and the park itself is a low-key bastion for toddlers and dog owners (review: https://bit.ly/3dV6ygv). Dolores Park has a more youthful and dare I say, hipster ambiance. This vibe spilled over to the cafe. That meant it was usually quite crowded with seating that's not easily spaced apart. I think it also spills over to their staff whom I've found on two separate occasions to be rather inhospitable. The first time it just seemed to be related to how busy they were, but the second was related to a pushy woman who asked that tables be moved around to accommodate her klatch. Neither the woman nor the server appeared to care that I didn't finish making my order. He failed to acknowledge me and simply went away to ask other staff members whether they can move tables around. I'm usually cool about these kinds of mishaps, but somehow it didn't feel right. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention what i had - a $2.75 cup of House Coffee with a $3.50 slice of Carrot Loaf on the first visit (photo: https://bit.ly/3B93zwe) and a $3 Nutter Butter on the second (photo: https://bit.ly/3VNV15V). It was pretty much the same quality as the other Park Cafes - no better, no worse. But you'll likely see me at Precita Park Cafe more often. FOOD - 3.5 stars...the more freshly baked goods are fine...if the display case is almost empty, I'd leave AMBIANCE - 2.5 stars...pretty crowded inside and out...just ask that pushy woman SERVICE - 1.5 stars...this is where they fall TOTAL - 2 stars...oh well RELATED - Exploring the Mission? Here's a collection of places I've visited and reviewed: http://bit.ly/2NHtst6

Yelp
I have stopped by for a cuppa before and I remembered loving the coffee. So last Saturday I went back to grab a light meal and coffee ( to be enjoyed at Dolores Ofcourse! ) It was super crowded and we had to wait for about 15 mins to place the order. It was haaaawt outside and my husband and I decided to get a cold drink along with a breakfast burrito. We got the chocolate red eye smoothie and the vegan breakfast burrito (w tots). The smoothie was soooo tasty with little coffee nibs on top. The vegan burrito with tofu in it was delicious. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal and would highly recommend this place any day if you want a quick snack for your Dolores park visit. The place is very clean and the service was very friendly. I have only good things to say.

Eric B.

Yelp
Love this place! We've done delivery, dine-in, and grab and go (sit in the park). Each time we've enjoyed the food we got. I'll say I just get excited anytime there are gluten free bread options, but even without it, there were options that were delicious. My goto is the lox scramble and my husband gets the bacon egg and cheese. When you're headed to Dolores, or need a consistent, good breakfast spot, Dolores park cafe is it!

Lizzie D.

Yelp
First off charging $13.50 for a bagel with lox's is criminal to say the least. Second off, the service was subpar. The one worker with pink hair, Shannon, was rude. She was in the middle of taking my order when she left the cash wrap to do something else. then while my friend and i were sitting, eating and hanging out she spilled her dirty dish water on me while she was walking by my table & mouthed a "im sorry" to me thru the glass window. Never came back to the table to apology, she kept walking past my table for no reason but refused to make eye contact and never offered an apology. Needless to say I will never be returning.

Zach B.

Yelp
Food was undercooked, really bad scrambled eggs on the sandwich, and the smoothie was so separated it was hard to cut with a knife. Photos look amazing so maybe it's a new issue? Either way I could not recommend this place.

Caitlin S.

Yelp
You come here for the location. It's located right across the street from Dolores Park and it has great views of the park. On a sunny day you can sit outside or at their bar area and have a mimosa/beer/cocktail and a sandwich and it's quite lovely. Service is fast and you order at the register. They have breakfast and lunch options. I got a smoothie and a BLT and they were both good, not great. Still worth coming to though. Parking is hectic at best in this area. Try to walk or Uber.

Maria W.

Yelp
This place was alright. Spectacular location and great interior design and layout, attentive and helpful service, and lots of seating both indoors and outdoors. But the food is simply mid. I got the spicy tuna melt with the soup of the day (tomato) and felt that there was more tomato than tuna in the open-faced sandwich, although I will say that their "jumbo english muffin" bread on the base is delicious. It had the perfect crunch and was just super tasty. The tomato soup was a bit watery and bland, but nice and warm for the freezing temperatures outside. My friend got the bagel and it was also decent; it came deconstructed so it was a do-it-yourself type of situation, with the food itself falling just a bit short of expectations. And my other friend got the BLT sandwich, with the same lackluster experience. She loved her latte, though!!

Terry D.

Yelp
Love this place! The location is great for people watching, walking over to the park and starting the morning. The French toast is my favorite and amazing- I had it 3 times my most recent visit. The place is always clean, the staff always welcoming and helpful. When we visit SF it's on the list of places we must go, usually more than once.

Tarun B.

Yelp
I was strolling around Dolores Park this past weekend and came upon this little café. It was Sunday afternoon so I popped in here to have brunch. There was not a long line at this point so I managed to get an outdoor table with a great view of the park. After about an hour or so more people were coming in. The line to order went outside the door and around the corner. I guess being the main café by Dolores Park drives a lot of traffic here. The one thing I really liked about this place was the design of the café. Everything was bright and colorful. The speakers were playing great songs. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I kind of felt as if I was at a beach café in San Diego ordering an iced coffee. It was a great day to eat outside or perhaps sit out in the park and have a picnic. I ordered the Breakfast Burrito with an iced coffee. The food came out quickly. The burrito was not warm so I asked them to reheat it. I expected it to be fresh so that was a little weird. The food was alright but not great. I had better breakfast burritos elsewhere. The cold brew was great though. I would come back here and order more next time I am in the area.

Masha G.

Yelp
Came here for lunch to enjoy the outside seating on a weekday. I ordered the turkey, avocado, bacon and swiss sandwich. It comes with tomatoes and I asked that if they could do cucumbers instead. What could go wrong? Well... there were cucumbers on the side, instead of in the sandwich.... which ok, is fixable. But this sandwich didn't actually have any turkey in it. None. I think they forgot? I probably should have gone in and asked them to remake it, but I was tired and decided I didn't care enough in that moment. That said... they literally forgot to put one of the main named ingredients in the sandwich... Disappointing at best, though I probably should have asked them to remake it.

Mahesh N.

Yelp
Came here in early August. Got some overpriced coffee. Wanted to use the restroom and was told "someone threw up an hour ago." Ok guess that happens. Then just came now. Bought some water. My wife wanted to use the restroom... and told the exact same thing. What kind of food and drink establishment doesn't allow paying customers to use the facilities? I would give 0 stars if I could.

Nitinram V.

Yelp
Service is fast and good, staff are friendly. Food is kind of average. Tried their breakfast burrito and banana bread. Eggs in the burrito were too runny.

Kirsten K.

Yelp
really cute, homely café in the heart of san francisco, overlooking delores park. one of the best locations out there! they have an outdoor seating area that directly overlooks the park, and it's a great location for people watching and taking in sf. i ordered the iced americano and loved it! not too bitter, strong enough, and tasty. would come again!

E M.

Yelp
I was really starting to like this place, but unfortunately some of the employees have a terrible attitude. If you get someone with a bad attitude they don't prepare the coffee and food as well. It's disappointing spending so much for inconsistent service.

Rina A.

Yelp
Great cappuccino, lots of seating. A nice pit stop before heading to the park. Unfortunately did not try the food but the coffee was great.

Daisy R.

Yelp
Make sure you order at the right one! I was aware of that, but still ordered at the wrong one. They were very very nice about it. Their food is so good and the service is good at both.

Zara-Maria R.

Yelp
If you're ever in SF and would like to get an awesome photo of the city, Dolores park can provide that and so much more. There is a kiddie park, basketball and tennis courts and ample green grass to cop a squat on. During the warmer days, you'll find this park filled with tons of people enjoying the rays and each others company. The muni train is nearby for quick departures and restaurants and BI-RITE ice cream so you don't have to go to far if you're still enjoying your time at the park.

Misha L.

Yelp
It was alright to be honest, the foods decent for the price. I ordered a hot sandwich and the chicken was cold, and the bread was real soggy. I'll give a try again but I would have to be real hungrh

Bridget S.

Yelp
The fruit and yogurt were fine but we got a really overpriced Turkey sandwich that was at least a couple days old. There was very little Turkey on it. I have had a better Turkey sandwich from a gas station. Get something made fresh and you might be satisfied.

Juan V.

Yelp
This is a good spot with a relaxing atmosphere and a view of Dolores Park and my old High School. They serve good smoothies and baked goods. There is also so alcoholic beverages offered here.

Tim P.

Yelp
Popped in honestly only wanting some tea to drink in a beautiful sunny day. But the menu was tempting so I indulged in a mad day snack of the hummus plate. Very tasty and beautifully presented!

Jack N.

Yelp
I've come to the Dolores Park Cafe a few times now and can say that their dark roast house coffee is very good. Also tried the veggie sandwich and it was a quality, made-to-order product. So many cafes have pre-made sandwiches and salads - No thanks! And thanks to the folks at Dolores Park Cafe for making good stuff. The service is fast and very friendly! And the ambience is pretty nice, across the street from the park. Could put a little more into the outside space to make it fabulous (maybe bigger plants or something to block the wind), but the indoor vibe is clean and lively.

Michelle Z.

Yelp
Great cafe next to Dolores Park! Stopped by here over the weekend and got an egg sandwich and bunny rappit juice -- both were super yummy. Awesome spot to pick up coffee/ juice/smoothies, breakfast items, sandwiches/wraps for the park too.

Lisa M.

Yelp
Friendly service ! Come on people who are impatient, we're in a pandemic. Wait wasn't too bad. The latte was solid. I usually get flavored latte drinks however, I didn't need any flavoring. They also use their own freshly roasted beans :) I got so caught up in getting ice cream across the street I forgot to buy a bag of their beans. I think he said it was around $17. Next time!

Janessa C.

Yelp
Great place to grab a quick snack! Got a salmon lox super delicious and margarita to go. Wish it was just margarita on the rocks but it was a slushee it was still good. Super nice and welcoming staff!

Isobel P.

Yelp
Stopped by here during a visit to Dolores Park. My mom wanted ice cream for lunch and went across the street to B-Rite (try their salted caramel) but I wanted some actual food so I came in here and ordered the albacore tuna sandwich for about $12 I believe. This sandwich was sensational! Fresh, fast and tasty with a bag of chips included. I also got an iced chai tea latte (yes, they have milk alternatives here) and it was delish too. I'm a big fan! If only their bathroom was open during a long day of walking around the city.

Erika K.

Yelp
It's my first time here, I was looking for a place to have some breakfast and stopped here, the closest cafe I would find, and it's amazing. Food was brought up to me fast, nice place, park is across the street and the energy is amazing. When I'll be in town, I'll be coming back

Shannon S.

Yelp
Had the worst tasting bloody mary I've ever had. It tasted like they put water in it. I'm guessing they either have this pre-made sitting on ice somewhere in a jug or they purposely water it down to make more money. Either way, it was terrible. Took two sips and didn't left it basically full. I ordered the veggie sandwich with tomato bisque soup on the side. The soup was the best part of the meal. The sandwich was... unsatisfying both in flavor and in its inability to satisfy. I have no idea why this place does rank lower. I could have had a better meal at Starbucks.

Katie C.

Yelp
I really likes this spot!! After lunch in Dolores Park, the Dolores Park Cafe offered a very well made $4 12-hr cold brew, while my friends sipped on margaritas. The music jams!! Current pop music like Ariana Grande as well as some old funky 80s headbopping beats. No one could hear my on my phone calls though, FYI haha. Electrical outlets are a little hard to come by too. My star rating: 5 - you have to go!!! 4 - you won't be disappointed 3 - it was okay 2 - I probably won't go back 1 - turnaround and run

Luz C.

Yelp
Bagel was really good. I love that it's right next to Dolores park. I thought it was a restaurant but it's more like you order with the cashier and then find a place to sit.

Art V.

Yelp
Had a great iced latte here--deep, rich flavors, served in a glass jar. Pastries are great. Friendly staff. Restroom available. Literally a few steps to the park.

Sophie M.

Yelp
Food was good, but very expensive. Loved the vibe of the place and it's location next to Mission Dolores Park, but maybe would like for them to make the menu a little bit more affordable. $15+ for a sandwich without meat is a lot even by San Francisco standards...

Ziyan C.

Yelp
My friend and I needed a couple hours in a cafe where we could work and be shielded from the wind. Dolores Park Cafe provided that. I only got a smoothie (The K2 - 3.5 stars. Perfectly fine). They have clean bathrooms, nice staff, but not a single outlet you can access from any of the seats.

Monica L.

Yelp
Delicious sandwiches and great vibe! I also had a latte and it was perfection! The staff give great recommendations as well if you aren't sure what to order.

Xenoneon N.

Yelp
They are not checking for vaccines. After having ordered and about to sit down I asked 'don't you want to see my vaccine card?' I've watched customers order and none were asked. Sure, there's a large window open, but it's still indoor eating and I'm sitting 3 ft away from a stranger. There is a mandate for indoor eating, and many San Franciscans care about their health and the health of those they interact with. If they don't follow this simple mandate, then logic follows they skip other restaurant hygienic practices. Food is mediocre. I've been here three times in the time I've lived in this area, before. Eggs always a bit underdone and potatoes lacking in flavor. The coffee is good.

Nicole M.

Yelp
Yum! We stopped by the cafe to pick up smoothies to enjoy in the park! I got a strawberry smoothie and my boyfriend got the coffee smoothie! The fruit smoothie was much better It's a great spot to check out and grab something to eat or drink to enjoy in the park.

Andrea N.

Yelp
I love this place!!! I come here quite frequently for my morning latte when I feel like treating myself (which is pretty often lol) Nicole is who works the front is the sweetest person ever!!!! I love chatting it up with her in the morning and she is def a gem. I love all the other employees too and they make my morning brighter with their smiles and customer service. Btw, the pumpkin spice latte is so delicious! 10/10

Yelper G.

Yelp
Horrible wifi, couldn't load a single page. No electric outlets either. I assume this cafe is 1800s themed? Don't come here if you planned on working. We're in San Francisco not the Bermuda Triangle.

Tara P.

Yelp
ATMOSPHERE Casual, fun, and they just returned to indoor seating! But outdoor seating is also great with views of the park and Sutro Tower. Currently I enjoy the artwork depicting "Old Mission" and "New Mission". SERVICE Friendly and food comes out in a reasonable time. However, when only buying coffee, I've noticed small inconsistencies: every time I've said "no lid" it comes with a lid and the largest size of iced beverages was once 20oz but today was 16oz? FOOD/BEV Love the avocado toast, the salads, the fruit is fresh, and the breakfast sandwich. OVERALL Solid spot.

Elena N.

Yelp
While walking back to Dolores Park, my gf and I were looking for a restroom. We decided to stop by Dolores Park Cafe as the restrooms at the park had a huge line. We stopped by on Saturday, July 29th around 4:15pm. They actually have a security guard maning the restroom who checks receipts, so you have to buy something if you want to use the bathroom. I ended up buying a cookie from their pastry case for I think $2 and some odd cents. A lot of people actually had the same idea we did as I saw people buying random things and then getting in line for restroom. The line moved really slowly as they only had one, but we finally made it to the front. It was clean and we were in and out quickly. I ended up giving the cookie to a friend of ours and he seemed to enjoy it. I think it was reminiscent of a filled wedding cookie? I didn't try it, but it looked tasty. Convenient if you're at Dolores Park and want some food or drinks as it's right across the street.

J J.

Yelp
Easy to order and pickup was seamless. The food: delicious! Breakfast burritos and lots of sides for the perfect picnic in Dolores Park.
