I decided to come here this year as they are one of the few places where a vegan option is available (thank you so much 🙏)
It's a nice place, sugar shack "feeling", but like a lot of places in Quebec, they have a mini farm and personally, I don't like it.
Marinated cauliflower and beet salad were super good! Not too sour, not too sweet.
We didn't receive our fruit ketchup, but got it when asked.
The pea soup was yummy, well seasoned.
For the main dish, potatoes were ok, baked beans also ok,
The scrambled tofu was a deception. It was weird, watery and bland.
To compensate, the dessert, omg! The maple syrup "grand-père", absolutely delicious!!! A huge win!
Last year I went to Cabane a Tuque and comparing both, this place deserves a Michelin star haha and it costed me 35% less than the terrible experience I had in 2022.
So if you are going to Cabana a tuque, consider this place ;)
