Best Steakhouses in Phoenix, Arizona | Eater Phoenix

"Only in the desert do steakhouses come with a pool, and the second floor of Dominick’s has a particularly nice one surrounded by tables that are the first to fill up for reservations. Downstairs, the elegant and modern steakhouse decor pairs well with the menu that features its beef cuts front and center. Start with the crispy shrimp deviled eggs before splurging on wine-fed A5 kobe." - Asonta Benetti

Some Restaurants in Phoenix Are Reopening Their Dining Rooms | Eater Phoenix

"I saw Dominick’s Steakhouse in Scottsdale included on the Phoenix New Times’ aggregated list of restaurants beginning to reopen dining rooms after being closed for dine-in since March; Arizona officials allowed restaurants to reopen starting May 11 under guidance that calls for sanitizing food-contact surfaces, employees wearing face coverings when near customers, avoiding shared items such as menus and condiments, and operating at reduced capacity depending on the size of the location." - Missy Frederick

Had dinner here with a group of people on the third floor, there was an interest in pool in the middle of the restaurant. Wasn’t sure why it was there or how its add to the decoration of the restaurant. Their service was top notch. I would give five stars for the food, but my bone-in veal chop was very salty. Otherwise, appetizers and sides were all mouthwatering delicious. I would recommend a calamari, the king crab avocado, corn brûlée, mashed sweet potato.

Wow wow and wow! Spontaneous visit for two for dinner. Jenn was phenomenal! Her assistant Josh was pleasant and always visible. The ribeye cap was perfectly cooked. The crab leg special was outstanding! Worth every penny!!! The truffle baked potato was sick!! We loved it! Music selection was on point too. Great experience from front desk to management. Well run restaurant. Good job 👍🏽

You always know what you’re going to get when you dine at Dominick’s exceptional food, impeccable service, and an elevated experience from start to finish. The staff consistently goes above and beyond, and you truly feel valued every time you visit. Although we’ve dined at Dominick’s many times, this was our first time upstairs, and it was stunning. The ambience throughout the restaurant is sleek, elegant, and absolutely beautiful, but the upstairs dining area takes it to another level with tables surrounding the gorgeous rooftop pool for a modern, luxurious “dining under the stars” experience. The food is, as always, outstanding. You must try the Hasselback potatoes and the crème brûlée corn, both are the perfect sides to complement any main dish. Dominick’s continues to be one of the best dining experiences in the Valley!

My boyfriend took me here for my birthday and it was just amazing. The service was top tier and I would recommend this place to go to celebrate or just eat at for casual dinner! We had complimentary bread, wagyu, and two steaks. They gave me a complimentary birthday dessert with my name spelled out with happy birthday. I really appreciated their service and amazing atmosphere.

One would think that another 5 start review is unnecessary, but we beg to differ. The location of the restaurant is beautiful at night. We were able to valet at a great price. We were dressed very well because of our reason for eating tonight, but we noticed some guests were dressed like the end of a long day of shopping at the nearby stores. We were greeted from the moment we walked in, every stair, and every turn. It was almost like you walked in to the inner workings of a Michelin restaurant. Smiles, dimmed lighting, laughter, and the sound of sizzling steaks zooming past you. Our waiter ‘JOEY’ was the best server we have ever had. His initial introduction, attention to detail, and history lessons about the restaurant were a treat. Felt like we were family and that type of service is not easy to find. We had a beautiful table right next to the pool and the roof was open on this beautiful night. Our order: 2 glasses of Moscatos Crispy Shrimp as an appetizer A side of Cream Corn Brulee A side of Whipped Mashed Potatoes End cap steak cut 14 ounce New York Strip 3 flavors of sorbet Red velvet bread pudding The hustle and bustle of beautiful chaos as we saw servers rush over to meet the needs of their tables, the laughter of the people enjoying the company of friends, and the smell of amazing foods being brought out. Truly a sight to see and we would do it all again.

I came here for my birthday, and I honestly love the vibe of the place. We were seated by the pool upstairs so that’s kinda cool. Our server is very nice and sweet and the manager goes around too to check on us. I just don’t think I love the food that much. We ordered a steak as medium plus and I couldn’t like it. I’ve been ordering my steak like that in other places but this one tasted and looked charred, I felt like they should ask first if we like it charred. It’s hard to like it with its bitterness aftertaste. I should’ve said something but I had fun so that’s all that matters.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 Dominick’s Steakhouse is pure Scottsdale luxury — from the moment you walk in, it feels like an experience. The atmosphere is chic, moody, and elevated, perfect for celebrating my 40th birthday. Our steaks were cooked to perfection — tender, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The sides are just as impressive (the King Crab legs & Crème Brûlée Creamed Corn is a must!). Service was top-tier — professional, warm, and perfectly paced. Yes, it’s a splurge, but worth every penny for the quality, ambiance, and overall experience. Dominick’s delivers on every level — it’s easily one of the best steakhouses in Scottsdale. $$$$ Must try; Crème Brûlée Creamed Corn Sautéed Wild Mushrooms Chilean Seabass Filet Mignon Norwegian King Crab Legs

I’ll start with the food- best meal I’ve ever had in my life. The Kobe, the baked potato, and the key lime pie were especially notable. Our server, Sergio, was phenomenal, and the entire staff wished us a happy 10th anniversary. Ambiance was great and allowed for us to be truly present on our date. Overall 11 out of 10!

Yelp
Chairs were very comfy. Lights were very dim to set the mood. Food speaks for itself. Full belly full heart. This is one of those places where explaining the menu and the specials is a novel. Can anyone keep up with all that info!?!?! Could be a Jimi problem, he took a lot of Tylenol as a kid. Jimi would eat here again and again and again. Worth every penny. 5 stars

Yelp
Food was delicious and definitely top notch. Service was even better. Ambiance meets the standard for fine dining. Would recommend for a celebratory dinner as the experience is super fancy. However, I did see other patrons in a tee shirt and even baseball cap so not sure they enforce dress codes here but most everyone else was dressed to impress. I also saw a poodle walking out with their owner on a leash too so overall a little confused about how fine this fine dining spot really is. Nonetheless, I would recommend their steak options, fried calamari, meatball appetizer and asparagus fries. Their French fries were mediocre, Brussels sprouts weren't all that, and the beignet tree displays better than it tasted. Also, their chocolate chip cookies that come out with the bill were not fresh so it was hard and crunchy like it came out a packaged box. So overall, a really great experience but definitely room for improvements. Solid 4-stars.

Yelp
Server spilled on my guest Manager did come over and offer to pay dry cleaning Both of our steaks were not cooked enough. Super disappointed. We both ordered medium and our steaks were raw. Too many other options for great steak in AZ. You need to up your game Dominick's if you want my local business back. Dinner was close to $700 again, super disappointed

Yelp
2.5* Was disappointed by the New York strip cooked at medium. Cooked to temp. But it Was noticeably under seasoned and quite plain in flavor - where was that pop of umami ??Maybe I've been spoiled by a pat of butter across the top at my native Flemings. Sides were OK. Creamed corn was the winner. Brussels sprouts were undercooked. Potatoes au gratin underwhelmed. Maybe the first time I've ever said that in my life. The keylime Pie was nice and easily shared with spoon division among our party of three. This was a disappointment for $68 "small" strip & average 12 year scotch was about $35/ pour. Expected the visit to transcend me and it did not. Service by Ken was good. business dinner, therefore no photos.

Yelp
The service, the food, the ambiance. Amazing!!! I thought Steak 44 was the best spot in Arizona but this spot gives it a run for its money!!! We started with a wedge and bread. Simple but still incredible. We did family style and had Hassleback potatoes (not pictured because we devoured them! We also got Brussels sprouts, shrimp, and burrata. The Tomahawk was the star of the show! The best steak of my life!!! Well worth the money. We will definitely be back!!!

Yelp
There's a parking structure across the way if you're not into valet parking. However, if you are, there's a valet RIGHT in front of the restaurant entrance. It's a beautiful restaurant. The service is impeccable. The food, even better. The ribeye is one of the BEST prepared ribeyes I've had at a steakhouse. Definitely get the chicken fried lobster! It's worth EVERY single dime you spend here. Highly recommend. This will be a standard whenever I'm in Scottsdale.

Yelp
If you're in Scottsdale, Dominick's Steakhouse is a must-visit spot. It's a white tablecloth, fine dining experience. The wait staff is highly attentive and well-versed in every aspect of the menu. The ambiance is classic, moody and quiet enough for a business meal or family meal. Reservations are required. I love the pork belly appetizer - a little sweet and a little spicy - is so tender you can cut it with a spoon. I also like the superfood salad - sunflower seeds, blueberries, strawberries and an amazing vinaigrette. The steaks are cooked to perfection - we choose medium - with a delicious rub. They are too big for me to eat one by myself, but my husband is always willing to share a few bites of his :) A note about parking...valet is $8 plus tip or there are free garages nearby.

Yelp
Friends, I'm an avid fan of fine dining. And, I love a great steak. Well, last night my friends and I decided to head to Dominick's to celebrate a special event. We were greeted immediately with a friendliness that is so routinely lacking elsewhere. We had an entire team taking care of us from the moment we arrived till the moment we left. Such professionalism and attentiveness, and just genuinely grateful for our visit, I was immediately impressed. The ambiance, wow! We were taken to the second floor where we were seated around a pool, yes, an indoor pool. Immediately, the phenomenal service began. The team taking care of us, lead by our head server Ruben, was incredible!! Every detail, down to the napkin color, was thoughtful and purposeful. This is one of the best dining experiences that I have ever had in Scottsdale, if not the best. Service, ambiance, and comfort....TOP NOTCH. Food: EXCELLENT. Literally, excellent. Not one thing that we ordered was disappointing. The appetizers...AMAZING. BREAD....EXCELLENT. Steaks and pork chops...PHENOMENAL. Not one thing was disappointing. I can't rave enough about the quality of the food. I would like to thank Ruben and his team for making our Saturday evening outing one for the books. I will definitely return over and over again, as Dominick's is now one of my top 5 favorites nationwide. Thank you Dominick's for creating a lasting impression, being part of a special celebration, and providing a level of service that was beyond impressive. Here a few pics and vids. Grade: A+++++++

Yelp
Came here for a joint birthday and anniversary celebration and HOLY JESUS it did not disappoint. Legitimately one of the best restaurants I've ever experienced. Mouthwatering and just exceptional from start to finish. They kindly gave us not one but two complimentary desserts for our celebrations. We indulged in the perfectly cooked lobster tails, waygu steak on special and the Dominick's potatoes which were to die for. When I tell you everything is just over the top done to perfection from the food to the impeccable service I am not kidding. It was truly an amazing experience. The bar where we had a pre-dinner cocktail was gorgeous and the entire restaurant just embodied elegance and class. Don't even think about it - just book this place for your next celebration or if you are looking to truly impress anyone. You won't be disappointed.

Yelp
The experience was great everyone knew what they were talking about whether it was food or some fancy drink. The bone in ribeye was cooked to perfection! Definitely compares well with other steak houses.

Yelp
Anytime I dine at a steakhouse I remember the famous words of white chicks "and for the lady perhaps a salad?" Perhaps not, I enjoyed my steak. Dinner at Dominick's was nothing short of exceptional. Everything from the service to the ambiance was elevated without feeling overdone. The staff was attentive, Chris was our server and he was awesome. First off, the pull apart bread that's served melts in your mouth. I ordered the grass-fed New York strip, medium rare and they understood the assignment. Perfectly seared on the outside, beautifully red and tender on the inside. My husband got himself a filet mignon and enjoyed every bite. We shared mashed potatoes, creamed corn (I could eat this everyday) and Mac and cheese. Everything was sooo good. The cookies that come out once you're done with your dinner are 10/10. Dominick's delivers what you expect from a high-end steakhouse: an experience that's both memorable and worth returning for.

Yelp
wow what a great iconic restaurant!! Came here for a rehearsal dinner and we were in the rooftop /pool area. The service and food was outstanding. My only disappointment was the roof didn't open....

Yelp
First experience at this beautiful restaurant. It is located within an outdoor mall with plenty of parking if you are not interested in their valet parking. After entering through a turnstile type of door, you are greeted by beautiful smiling faces. It is a large establishment with beautiful decor over many rooms and levels. It is obvious this is a very popular place. Here is their dress code: "Our Dress Code Policy | Fine Dining Attire In Scottsdale We encourage all of our guests to get dressed up for a great experience. In order to maintain an enjoyable environment for all of our guests, athletic wear (with the exception of sweatshirts), excessively revealing clothing, exposed undergarments, will not be permitted. We prefer no printed t-shirts. sweatshirts, hats or visors and always appreciate collared shirts and/or sports coats. Please dress as your always elegant selves. You are going to have a great time!" In short, service is impeccable! Everyone working busts their rear ends like I've never seen. It's incredible actually. My only bummer is that they don't offer grass fed beef and wild seafood. However, the food is SO good and prices are competitive. Most importantly, I like to always provide feedback regarding those on the frontline who are the faces of a restaurant. Our waiter "Jonathan" who was top notch, provided perfect customer service from beginning to end. Thank you Jonathan for being apart of great memories created. There is something positive to be said about distinguished waiters/waitresses. Thank you to ALL the staff who worked so synchronistically providing such amazing service on such a large scale! IMPRESSIVE.

Yelp
Dominick's is my favorite steakhouse in the Valley and my go-to for special occasions. We have celebrated birthdays, new jobs, and most importantly our engagement here. Each time the staff has made it memorable! The steaks are always cooked to perfection and full of flavor. The sides are fresh and delicious, and everything is presented beautifully. However, service is what truly makes Dominick's stand out. The team is attentive, warm, and makes you feel valued from the moment you walk in! If you want exceptional food and service that makes any occasion feel special, this is the place to be.
google avatar

Yelp
Not sure who came first, but Dominick's is a part of the Steak 44/48 and Ocean 44/48 family of restaurants. Being a fan of Steak 44 I had to give this place a try, and I was not disappointed. Sitting upstairs it was oddly beautiful to see a shallow pool in the middle of the seating area. Service, needless to say, is impeccable. Yet, no matter the service or ambience it still comes down to the food. The Bone-in wagyu tomahawk to share was amazing. Though I wish places like this would get away from the "wagyu" push. I really don't believe it means much in the tomahawk space. The Caesar with romaine - poached farm fresh egg - warm croutons to start was perfect and the Bread service for the table was signature for 44, or 48, or in this case Dominicks. The only downside was eating too much! Parking is easy too. There is a garage nearly across from the place and even with the chaos of the location where they are at it still works out great.

Yelp
We came to Dominick's a second time for our wedding anniversary, and once again, we had a great experience. Top to bottom, everything was perfect. Our food was cooked to perfection, service was excellent, and we got to enjoy a nice evening out! Even the playlist was great! We loved that the music was more modern. We had pretty much the same food as my previous review, except we had the superfood salad. It was bomb!! So fresh and a great compliment to the rest of our meal. Thanks for another lovely anniversary dinner :)

Yelp
We heard Dominick's is a great steakhouse in Scottsdale. Although the service was very good, there were a couple of big miscues that warrant me only giving 3 Stars, and a mediocre experience overall. We started off w/ the West & East Coast oysters. The oysters were good for the most part, but one of my six had an off taste. My NY steak was nicely charred on the outside. However, the center was cool. On the other hand, the sides were very good. The potatoes were crispy, and the snap peas were crunchy. Lastly, the beignets were a good rendition of a N'Awlins fave. They were light & airy. Kelsey was an awesome waitress! She was friendly & warm, and informed us of the items not on the menu. Regarding the ambiance, we would have known more about it, had they seated us in the main dining area or bar. They sat us in one of four shitty tables behind the bar. You couldn't see anything from where we were. I like people watching in a place like this. I would rather have sat in the bar at a high top w/o a res, vs sitting in one of the four shitty tables in the back w/ a res. There were so many staff running about. It did not sit well with me that we were seated at such a shitty table w/ a res. All in all, a ho hum experience after spending $550 for two. Dominick's was supposed to be the highlight dinner of our trip: Thats why I booked it on Sat night. It was the worst dinner we had in Scottsdale. I have been to top steakhouses across the country (Peter Luger's, Gibson's, Joe's, Smith & Wollensky, Mastros, The Palm, Capital Grille, and Flemings), and Dominick's was underwhelming AF: I will not return.

Yelp
Booked this place a week and a half in advance for hubbys birthday, as it's impossible to get a reservation here. But was lucky to book the wine room for 2. When we reached there, it was still occupied. But they gave us a cosy booth. Located in a perfect spot for pictures! To begin with the place is just WOW! If you're the kinds who enjoy fine dining and wouldn't mind splurging, this is definitely a must try. We had a 8pm slot for dinner and it was "packed" even till we left around 9:30pm on Sunday! The asthethics are amazing and makes you feel you're dining with the A listers. Wouldn't be surprised if you end up spotting the "who of who" industries across. Our server Adrianna was fabulous. Knew the menu at the back of her hand, including the specials off menu. She recommended us with the classiest of wagyu options, oysters etc and it was heaven! The Old Fashioned could have been better, they were so-so. The two other cocktails, strawberry rhubarb and the stone fruit martini was a pleasant surprise. Do try those. The oysters (we did half and half - east and west coast) spectacular, especially if you love oysters and live in Arizona. The bread they offer can be a hit or a miss. The beet salad was warm and comforting but also, very robust with flavours. This is a must try. We spilt it into two and it was still very good in quantity. If you're not too much of an eater, highly recommend splitting your orders into two. Portion sizes are pretty good here. For entree we tried their 14 oz wagyu. It's wagyu, it's bound to be a bit pricey, so keep that in mind but it was just perfect, melted on every bite and just delicious! The creme corn brûlée Do order flaky salt on the side. We tried the Scallops are well, first few bites were good, but, got a bit rubbery after they went down in temperature. So have a go at it first if splitting entrees. We were too full for desserts, but given it's a birthday they do it on the house and let you choose what you like which was a pleasant surprise as most restaurants just give you their choice of dessert. This steakhouse "lets you choose!" Which is actually amazing! We were recommended the one we could box , which was the chocolate bombe, perfect for birthday with gold flakes and almonds and perfect surprise in the centre! Overall. A MUST visit if you don't mind shelling out a good amount.

Yelp
We have dined here a few times and have had consistently delicious and high-quality meals. the place itself is beautiful, and the service is excellent. I don't know that I have ever dined anywhere else where they call you the following day to check in on your experience. Definitely a must try if you're in the area and looking for a quality and upscale dining experience.

Yelp
We normally go to steak 44 in Phoenix for our anniversary, but we decided to switch things up and go to Dominik's just for the location. The food was excellent since it's still steak 44 but service wasn't as good. The manager was greeting everyone near us and then blew past us as if we weren't there. Our server was great but the vibe of this location was off the moment we got there.

Yelp
Great steakhouse with a cool vibe and attentive staff. The seafood tower as a starter was great - lobster, huge prawns, crabmeat, shucked oysters with a variety of sauces - great for sharing! The chopped salad was just OK but the Filet Mignon entree was prepared perfectly and the sides, especially Dominicks potatoes (au gratin) and the corn creme brûlée were tasty! The lamb chops were also excellent! For dessert, the warm caramel cake with vanilla ice cream was terrific. The s'mores in a cup dessert looked great too. Within walking distance from many of the surrounding area's resorts. Put Dominick's on your list when you're in Scottsdale!!

Yelp
Celebrated a friends birthday here Friday night and we all had a great night. We had a reservation set for 8:45pm for a party of 8 and as soon as we walked in, we were all seated. Our friendly server came over right away and we were given water and bread. Our appetizers, drinks, and food orders were taken not long after. I ordered the braised salmon with a side of whipped potatoes and my one friend who sat right next to me ordered pork chops and a side of asparagus fries. The girls ordered the crispy shrimp appetizer for the table and omg, I would so order them again. They had a nice kick to them and were severed hot. The salmon was sooo good. It was topped off with bread crumbs, (servers recommendation) was juicy, flakey, and tasted so fresh. The whipped potatoes were fluffy, flavorful, and accompanied the salmon very well. My friends pork chops came out sizzling hot and two came in the order. She said these were one of the best pork chops she has had in a while. They were thick, juicy, and cooked well. She let me try her asparagus fries and those were a big no from the both of us... They were flavorless and soggy :/ For dessert, we all had strawberry gelato and some red velvet pupping to share. Both desserts were delicious! The red velvet pudding was my favorite as it came out nice and warm and it was not overwhelmingly sweet. Service was exceptional from all the staff that helped with our table. The birthday girl had a great night and we all enjoyed our food. I spent a total of $90 just for my food and tip.

Yelp
I love celebrating special occasions at Dominick's or the sister restaurants (ocean 44/ Steak 44). You will want to make a reservation well ahead of time because this place gets busy quick. My birthday fell on a Friday this year and I made a reservation about 5 days in advance and only the later slots or really early times were available. We had an 8:30pm reservation which wasn't too bad on a Friday night but they were busy. In my reservation I requested the rooftop by the pool, and they don't guarantee your spot, but they made it work for us that night which I'm super grateful for. I've only ever dined on the rooftop and it's such a special experience with the open roof and being able to see the stars, and the pool is beautiful. Unfortunately near our table was a group of men that were very drunk after a long day of golfing who were pretty loud and obnoxious. We asked our server if they could tell them to tone it down a notch, since it was disruptive, and the manager Paul came over to talk to us, apologized, and moved us to another great table that was farther away from the noise. They said if it continued they would intervene, but it was better for us once we moved, not sure how the people around them felt though, lol. The food, and service is always phenomenal here. They always make birthdays feel very special and write you a handwritten card and offer a dessert on the house. One of my favorite things about these restaurants is the bread that comes with the table, they make them to order and are buttered and salted or garlic & Parmesan. They are soooo good. I loved the salmon entree I got, with their Mac and cheese, and I also got truffle fries. I feel the truffle fries weren't too special, but everything else was. I love the portions here, I usually always have leftovers and never leave hungry. Thanks Dominick's for making my birthday so special!

Yelp
Always great food and service. Special shoutout to Nick who has served us many times. Best steakhouse in AZ When you consider the whole experience.

Yelp
This is absolutely my favorite steakhouse in Arizona!. Service was impeccable as usual. We went on July 4th and everything was just amazing. Jabari was the upstairs manager that night and frequently visiting guests also assisting servers with water and wine. Christian was our server and had a great personality and attitude always checking in on us. Now for the food, I had the Japanese Kobe, Filet and it was absolutely amazing and literally melted in your mouth. The cream of corn and spinach was awesome and very filling for dessert, I asked for the beignets which they always have although it's not on the menu, keep up the amazing work! Brent-GM you're running a great restaurant and always give me a fantastic experience
google avatar

Yelp
Came here for a bday party. We had a very large party so we had our own room. The staff was absolutely amazing and for such a large group everything came out perfect. We stayed super late but they never complained or made us feel unwanted. I had the salmon which was cooked perfectly, Dominick's potatoes were fantastic, and the creamed spinach was great as well. If you're looking for a date night, girls night, celebration, etc. I recommend.

Yelp
The food was absolutely delicious the ambiance was amazing and we really enjoyed the hospitality and knowledge from our server Josh. I would definitely recommend you trying this place if you're staying in North Scottsdale! The only set back is parking there is either valet parking and a lot across the street. They went above and beyond to make our visit special for our anniversary. This restaurant is a must try!!!

Yelp
The food was okay, not great for me. The service was OK, but the ambiance was too dark and noisy for me.

Yelp
We decided to try something new in Scottsdale. A non chain steakhouse. The reviews were quite good so we have it a try. Our server Ryan was knowledge and helpful with the menu. We ordered a great Pinot noir Rex hill. It was phenomenal the blue cheese edge was consistent with the a mild blue cheese and the bacon was the perfect crispness. Our diners were perfectly prepared at medium rare. Nice charring the struggle baked potato was heaven topped it off with their vanilla caramel cake. I couldn't breather after all that. If you get a chance to go request Ryan as your server. However the entire staff was great. It was enjoyable noise level for conversation but not too quiet so you could still have a conversation without everyone hearing it.

Yelp
Some pretty good quality steak located in Scottsdale Quarter. We quickly realized we were definitely a little too underdressed while we walked in, but it didn't stop us from enjoying our steak dinner. There is more of a classy, expensive vibe to this steakhouse as they offer valet parking and a separate lobby area. We were seated in one of the back corners, which we did not mind as it was more lit up than the rest of the restaurant and had fun people watching. For the food, we got: Complimentary bread rolls: 3/10. We were able to choose between parmesan garlic and sea salt butter, and we liked the former more. We found these to be too dry and wished they had a side of whipped butter to make them more decadent. It lacked depth and they were not as soft as we imagined them to be, but couldn't complain as they were free after all. Chopped napa salad: 4/10. This was disappointing as we could not taste the miso honey in this and the greens didn't seem fresh. The table next to us ordered the dominick's caesar, which looked way more appetizing. Filet mignon: 9/10. Boyfriend and I both like our steaks medium rare and they delivered! Usually the cooks overcook them to medium, but this was perfect. The sear on them was beautiful and 12oz was more than enough for him. Grass fed NY strip: 9/10. I really liked mine! Same notes as above; I opted for the small (12oz) and I ended up leaving with leftovers. Amazing and satisfied the red meat cravings. Corn crème brûlée: 8/10. Lived up to the hype. Reminded me of a fancier version of Korean corn cheese, the sugar bruleed on top made for a nice crunchy texture. Triple chocolate bombe: 10/10. We weren't planning on getting dessert, but as a chocolate fiend, we had to try this when I saw it on the menu. It came out looking like a jumbo ferrero rocher, and it was the most decadent thing ever. So extremely rich with the dark chocolate shell and toasted marshmallow on top. Each bite was heavenly and we finished this in seconds! There is always room for a little sweet treat and this absolutely hit. They also gave us two chocolate chip cookies on the house which were thin and chewy, so good! The service was awesome and the waters on our tables were always filled up. Servers were very attentive and communicative. Would love to try Steak 44 and Ocean 44 next!

Yelp
We went there to celebrate my partner's birthday. Our table was upstairs next to the shallow pool that they have at the center of the room. My impression is that the upstairs is for parties celebrating special occasions because there were several other parties that were evidently celebrating something. We started the meal off with 2 Kir Royales.. Both of us had the 12 oz Filet. My partner added the Lobster Tail to it. Our side was Sauteed Sweet Corn. I enjoyed a glass of Chateau Boutisse (a St. Emilion Gran Cru). We both enjoyed our dinner. At one point, the rooftop was opened to allow the diners to see the sky. Unfortunately, it was unseasonably cold which made it uncomfortable for the women. The ambiance was very relaxing with soft lighting and candlelight. The bar where we were seated seemed to be hopping all night.

Yelp
Absolutely a wonderful experience. You feel welcomed and guided along a wonderful journey here. Everything cooked to perfection and I'm really picky on my steaks. They have to be perfect or I will say something so kudos to this place because they did not disappoint! Only four stars because the bathroom was a little nasty. Other than an amazing place to spend heavy and get your moneys worth!!! I'm in love with this steakhouse

Yelp
I took my partner to Dominick's for his birthday and it was a hit! The wait staff was attentive and always made sure we were taken care of. The food was perfect! My partner was wowed and enjoyed everything that we ordered. We usually stay home and eat steaks since he does a great job at it but we will be coming back again!!!

Yelp
We came here for our anniversary and had a great time. We were sat on the top floor which had a great ambiance due to the sunroof and small pool area. The service was spectacular and the food was perfect. We decided to go with the servers recommendations and everything was delicious. Highly recommend the beet salad! This place was definitely on the higher end of other upscale steakhouses.

Yelp
Wow wow wow! We had the most amazing service and delicious dinner tonight! It was our first time here at Dominick's and were greeted with our extremely knowledgeable and kind and friendly server Josh and boy does he really know his stuff! My husband and him hit it off instantly and my husband can have some tough questions being a former chef himself. Josh answers all our questions and has the best suggestions that were spot on. The whole staff was so sweet and were kind as well! We definitely will be back! Thanks again staff of Dominick's but especially thank you Josh!

Yelp
The way Dominick's has handled Christmas Eve booking is ridiculous. Holding times between 5:00 and 8:00 and releasing them when you decide is dumb. Clearly a pay to play deal. You're not that great, and last time we were there service and quality were slipping anyway. There are too many other great restaurants in Scottsdale, so bye. People should book their special dinners somewhere else. Too commercial with no attention to quality anymore.

Yelp
One of my favorite high end steakhouses in Phoenix. The service is top notch and whatever level of steak connoisseur you are your taste buds will thank you! The food and wine were delicious and well worth every penny. The explanation of each meal was incredible and made our dining experience even better!!! I think this one may take the top spot in the book. Steaks were cooked perfectly and they have a price point for any occasion and celebration. The ambiance was calm and enjoyable, no loud music or party vibe. Very family friendly and great for large groups.
