Casual mainstay serving traditional Mexican fare in a rustic setting with a full bar & a patio.
"It’s fun to go to Don Antonio’s with a big group and eat in what feels like an underground cave even though there aren’t any underground caves in Los Angeles. There’s usually a wait here, but time moves quickly when you have one of Don Antonio’s blended-to-order margaritas in hand that’s extra tart and cold. (If you order it spicy, they’ll throw in some jalapenos as well.) You’ll also probably end up eating too many warm chips before the food comes out, but that’s all part of the experience. The super burrito is most people's order, but we recommend a combination plate involving enchiladas, crispy tacos, or chile rellenos." - brant cox, garrett snyder, arden shore

"It’s fun to go to Don Antonio’s with a big group and eat in what feels like an underground cave even though there aren’t really any underground caves in Los Angeles. As of 2020, they also converted their parking lot into a potted plant-filled garden party, complete with papel picado overhead. Regardless of where you sit, you’ll probably end up eating too many chips before the food comes out, but that - and the made-to-order margaritas - are all part of the experience. Everyone seems to like the super burrito, but we recommend a combination plate involving enchiladas, crispy tacos, and chile rellenos." - Arden Shore
"Don Antonio’s is another Westside staple and a place that’s recently expanded its patio into an adjoining parking lot filled with potted plants and papel picado hanging overhead. It’s easily our favorite place to hang outside on Pico—a fact solidified by their excellent margaritas. Each one comes either squeezed and shaken or blended to order, meaning each one arrives at your table freshly tart and ice cold. If you order it spicy, they’ll throw in some jalapenos as well." - Brant Cox
