Nice location in downtown that looks great and is nicely decorated. For a specialized place for coffee however I would expect a broader menu and variations of coffee. Their crema espresso tasted rather bittery/acidic. The place also offers various choices of food and other beverages. I havent tried those though.

Delicious avocado toast topped with perfectly cooked scrambled eggs...and the coffee's always good. But this time, we had to ask them to roll off the bass on the cranked-up music...which they did, making it a much more pleasant visit.

Casa Cubana they have a delicious café con leche. My husband and I split the ropa vieja sandwich with fried plantains for lunch. The taste was great! The menu is limited they have a few pastries. They have a great location but parking isn't free. Casa Cubana is beautifully designed and the bathroom is cool!

Located in a cool converted building alleyway, this place was a great find with a low energy ambience. The food here was fantastic, we had the tortilla española and the pollo al ajillo with the coconut latte and would recommend all three of those. Walked in with no expectations and walked out with a new go to lunch spot 👍

If I could give 3.5 stars I would but as a Miami transplant, I really want to support Cuban restaurants in LA. That being said, I was just really disappointed that the Tortilla Espanola dish wasn’t a sandwich but rather eggs on small pieces of toast. The description wasn’t very clear in my opinion...and this food was delicious but for almost $10 I wanted a bit more. Next time I’ll be careful and make sure to order from the sandwiches section....but I will order again.

In the Bloc arcade (Google maps doesn't make that clear) this place is pleasant and feels authentically Cuban. I had the breakfast sandwich (pictured) and a cafe leche, both of which were fun and interesting.

The best Cuban omelettes, coffee, salads, beer, pastries, and smiling faces! Always a place to sit. Open early at 7am.

Don’t ask for “tortilla española” it’s just two bread pieces and two smalls circles of tortilla, this more for appetizers smalls bites small coffe 4$ is a total scam Ok 17$ this crap are you crazy?
