Don Roberto’s Classic Italian

My family and I came here, and I absolutely love this spot. Rob did an amazing job creating a 2nd restaurant. The inside of the restaurant was beautiful and I loved the decor. The menu had a lot to offer and was all set at great prices. On the table, the waiter brought out garlic knots and fochina bread . It came with olive oil that had olives and garlic in it and, of course, butter. It was very tasty and delicious. This is what we ordered : Calamari : Very fresh and delicious Cheese Pizza: Great size pizza to share it . We decided to get the 12 ', and it came with 6 slices. Chicken Francese: Great size , the chicken was very tasty . It came with roasted potatoes and vegetables. I wasn't able to finish it. Overall, everything was great, and I highly recommend coming here and checking them out. I can't wait to come back next time !

This restaurant gives you a very relaxed home feeling as soon as you enter. The service is friendly and attentive. The cuisine is traditional unpretentious southern Italian. We had an Octopus appetiser, Veal Marsalla and Chicken Scarpariello entrées. All wa excellent. We will be going back to try other items on the menu and we're sure they will be as good as these dishes. It was superb.

Highly recommend giving Don Roberto's a try and i'm sure you won't be disappointed. Caesar salad was excellent, pizza was great and the lunch sandwiches were a pretty good deal!

Good food and drinks. Warm/welcoming service. Clean/comfortable atmosphere. Reasonable prices.

I was a little reluctant to try due to previous reviews but I'm glad we did. We came here around 615 on a Saturday, we had reservations but not too crowded. It did get crowded as evening went on. Service was great, waiter was personable. Food was delicious, one gues ordered the special pistachio lambchops and Sue commented how amazing they were. A happy birthday song for desert and some yummy deserts. The menu had some typical Staten Island items, shrimp scampi, pizza, chicken parm etc but then also had a tuna app special, lamb chops, pork chops, calzones, and hamburgers which 2 guest commented were delicious!!! It definitely is a must try, everyone left full and happy with their meals. Pricing is typical for the times, drinks were good and not watered down, friendly staff. We will be back.

This restaurant been in the neighborhood for some time, we finally got to try it and I was pleasantly surprised. Hey I live in Staten Island for more than a decade and the opening of another Italian restaurant is not that exciting. Don't Roberto manage to get my taste buds exited, octuple was delicious and perfectly season. Caccio pepe an al forno pasta very tasty. The drink Italian job was great too. Service was good, definitely coming back.

We moved to New Jersey 10+ years ago, but every so often we go back to Staten Island for dinner and to visit friends. A buddy of mine recommended this place and it was nothing short of excellent. If you’re looking for a classy restaurant with good food, drinks and service, then this is your spot. I wish I had taken pictures but everything was excellent. I hope this place is around for a long time.

This restaurant is incredible. The food here is simply amazing, tastes fresh and so good every time. I love the atmosphere, it feels so cozy and just nice. The service is great, and they always make it a point to check in and make sure you’re satisfied with everything. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone! It’s definitely become one of my favorites.

Delicious food. Beautiful restaurant. Food was fresh and yummy. A little loud it was hard to hear the server. Service was attentive owner or manager came over to the table asking how we were. We didn't have a reservation sat must in 10 minutes. .

Excellent service. Bread was subpar. Fried calamari was a bit greasy. Special pappardelle with sirloin in cream sauce was very good. Chicken Parm was good. Not a fan of the music that was playing. Btw 3 and 4 stars overall.

First time there. Food was very good. Service was slow but it was a Monday night. Decor was nice. Would go back, but not on an off night.

Had a delicious dinner with friends. All 4 of us thought our meals were great, no complaints. The restaurant was very nice, it was a nice crowd and we were very comfortable. We had drinks at the bar before and after dinner and they were really good. Bartender was friendly and we really enjoyed our night. I'd recommend it n I'd go back.

Food was meh. Service was atrocious! Waited forever for service. One entree was cold. Waiter never checked on us to see if our meal was ok. Never brought 2nd round of drinks. The acoustics were awful, we could barely hear each other.

We usually visit Rob's location in Tottenville DeLuca's and never had a bad meal there . It was nice to see that there was NO Loss in the quality of food. We had several appetizers the crab cake, Fried artichoke, mozzarella and carroza, all were excellent! There is absolutely no loss in service and Rob walks around as always to make sure all is OK. Now ambiance was more casual feeling pictures of family up made us feel like we were in his family dining room . from which I loved , but no loss for decor still coffered ceiling , chandeliers, wainscoting really nice . Props to Rob and his staff . Will definitely be back!

Service was great. That's about it. The bread that was brought to the table was stale. The chicken parm was soggy and bland, the chicken francese was scant and overcooked. I ordered the sea bass special that was supposed to come with broccoli rabe and mashed potatoes. They gave me spinach. When I pointed this out to the manager, he replaced the spinach with broccoli rabe, which looked entirely different from the broccoli rabe my wife was served! The dish was unrecognizable as fish. The stuffing, purported to be a seafood stuffing, was 99% bread crumbs. The two tight rolls of "fish" were covered in a brown gravy that all in all tasted like a salt lick. NOT a dish for a fish aficionado. Needless to say, we will not be returning.

My son and his fiancée took my wife and I here for dinner. Being I had a taste of each dish, I can say that everything was excellent. The menu was limited compared to other restaurants, and that's okay since the quality was highly above par. I'll most definitely be back.

First time I had dinner there, everything was good. Food was very good, service was good. Went again last night, food was good (some of my party's entrees was cold), but service was very slow. Granted they were very busy, but we waited almost 35-40 mins for entrees after appetizers. Then coffee and dessert was a long wait also. I will try it again, maybe third time is the charm.

Food was excellent, dishes are all fresh, high quality ingredients, service is warm and friendly. Ambience is cozy but a bit crowed. Prices are very reasonable, considering the great quality of food.

What a great restaurant! The food is amazing and beyond. The menu was very varied. Service was top notch and very efficient. I recommend highly.
