So many different Arepas! Would have to visit weekly in order to provide an in depth review :) Our first time there, we tried “La arepa Dominicana” and “Parri-arepa” - AND my now favorite Nutella Tequeño .. which is more like a dessert. Definitely going back to try other Arepas! Love the airy and clean feeling of the place. Welcome to JP!

This is my second time coming, and I’m once again blown away by the food. I got the Canoa this time, a sweet plantain stuffed with cheese and chicken, absolutely delicious. Service can be slow, but I think the food is worth it!

First as a customer, I started going to the branch located on Blue Hill Ave, I have never eaten somewhere that reminds me more of my home and my own mother's food than this. Venezuelans and connoisseurs will know that Venezuelan food has to be made AT THE MOMENT, having pre-cooked or frozen food would only make this place a visit to an unforgettable and not enjoyable restaurant. I had the opportunity to get a part time in this branch, and to be honest I couldn't be more comfortable, happy and well fed. I invite you to come, read the menu and give it a chance, we will be happy to assist you and above all make you feel part of our country and culture. Believe me, we will give our 100% to see you again.

WOW this place is AMAZING! 10/10 incredible food, large portions, kind and quick service, great prices, cute seating, cleanliness, and atmosphere. It is an incredibly beautiful space with THE BEST arepa I have ever tasted in my life (with 3x the amount of meat I was expecting- they PACKED it). I also got a guava and cheese tequeno- DELICIOUS. I’m very selective with the restaurants I write good reviews for. This one deserves a million! This is easily now one of my favorite places in Boston. Absolutely a must-visit! Seriously- this place needs to be featured in every magazine and food show out there. I know they’re going to make it big- wishing them great success!

I had really high hopes for this place and was excited to go last night but ended up mostly disappointed. I should have known how the experience was going to be as soon as it started. The cashier spent 10 minutes talking and laughing with the women in front of me (who were there talking before I even entered). The line grew behind me as they were talking. After the 10 minutes he finally took my order for an arepa, an empanada, and tostones. Note that this is just 3 items to go. I waited for those 3 items for 30 minutes. The guy who served me actually left and came back in that time. My boyfriend was waiting for me so I eventually went up to ask what was going on to another server during that time and she said she would go ask in the back and never came back. I then went to another server, not the one who took my order, and he said “I told you it would take 45 minutes” to which I said “you didn’t serve me so I want the one you told that to and the other guy didn’t say this to me”. Eventually I was so hungry that I went to my original server and asked for a refund. He told me the steps and tostones were ready but not the empanada. So, I asked for a refund for the empanada, but the cashier had to call his boss, who wasn’t even there, to process it. I was frustrated and hungry, so I left without the empanada or refund. The arepa was mid, and the tostones were too salty—not worth the 40+ minute wait. The service was terrible, and the staff seemed to ignore the growing number of orders. I won't be going back.

Very good, authentic Venezuelan food. A wide variety of great quality food offered. The service was great, the staff were really nice and were all from Venezuela. The atmosphere was fantastic too. The music, decorations, and overall vibes are awesome, and do a good job of representing the Venezuelan culture. It’s a little slice of Venezuela within the city of Boston. Highly recommended to everyone, especially people who have never been to Venezuela and/or are not familiar with the culture.

I’ve been going to this restaurants since 2 years ago, it’s the best Venezuelan food in Boston. You won’t regret to eat at this place!! 🥇 If you know about FRESH FOOD, you have to wait between 25-30mnts. If you don’t like to wait, go to get fast food.
