Donamariako Benta Jatetxea

If you visit San Sebastian or the Navarra region, a visit here must be on your bucket list. One of the most amazing restaurants I have ever visited. Set in a beautiful house Donmariako Benta is located near a stream and set in such a natural environment that calms the mind and lets your spirit rest in tranquility. While in such a state, you are served an amazing meal of at least three courses... Starter, Main Course and Dessert. There are many options to choose from for each of these three parts and none of them disappoints. Rather they delight the senses way beyond expectations. Being a vegetarian I was a bit skeptical while entering, but left with a feeling of wanting to return again soon to try the other options. Every course was fantastic, each one out doing the next climaxing with the out of the world desserts. Highly recommended! Don't miss this one. It's a jewel!

Really enjoyed our 2 night stay here. The hosts were wonderful, helpful and friendly; room was charming and the food was excellent. Definitely one to go back to if we get the chance.

Magic spot in the centre of San Sebastián ! Amazing pintxos and good price for great good! It worth it. The Staff is also really warm and patient.

An excellent culinary experience. Tried the pig's feet and the ribs. Highly recommend this establishment.

Came for lunch as park of Pyrenean Experiences walking tour -- and what a revelation. Wonderful homey environment with excellent food. The flavors were amazing -- balanced and rich. I had a bacalou with red pepper sauce that had the distinctive cod flavors without being overwhelming. Dessert was shared and it was a good thing for my waistband. Highly recommend

Very good restaurant. Two menus are included here. One of 20€ and the other of 32€. Restaurant is specialized in hunting meat. All the food is incredible. Worth the visit and very good service. The terrace is very astonishing and even rainy days are great days when it is a good idea to come here. Desserts are not as good as firsts and second. It is not very big and is easy to find as it is in the middle of the road. Crepes and caprichos are incredible. Cod is not as good as rice or duck. And yoghurt is much better than phoskito or waffle.

Phenomenal. Stumbled upon this godsend after 25 mile ride up and down a mountain. Out of water, sweaty, we arrived and they didn’t turn us away. Sensational food revived our spirits. Braised leeks with pesto and ‘soft cheese’ was the best leak I’ve ever had. Y el pato? Venga!
