Donde Carlos is a fantastic spot if you’re looking for authentic, comforting food. The food is very good and tastes amazing, with everything clearly made fresh and full of flavour. The place is very clean, and the staff are extremely kind, friendly, and attentive, which makes the whole experience even better. Overall, we really enjoyed our meals, and I would definitely recommend not skipping the desserts—they’re a great way to finish the meal. A place we’d happily return to

It was my first time trying Colombian food. I ordered the Calentado Sencillo which was so tasty. The combination of ingredients and flavours, as well as the sauce was great. The portion size was generous! The hostess/server Lina was so friendly and her customer service skills were excellent. I will be back for more delicious food!

Amazing!!! It is the best Colombian restaurant I’ve been to in the UK, it has nothing to envy to restaurants back in Colombia. Even the atmosphere is similar to the one back home.

The staff were all so friendly and welcoming! The food and cocktails were really good, and the whole atmosphere was lovely. Can’t wait to visit again for Arroz Marinero!

I have visited this restaurant twice, and will definitely visit again in the future! I love their mini bandeja paisa dish - Colombian cuisine is based on simple yet tasty ingredients which blend together so well. I would love to come on a weekend to try their Sancocho or Ajiaco :) The staff are so friendly and talkative, reflective of the hospitality in Colombian culture. I felt like I was in the Valle del Cauca without leaving London. Gracias por hacerme sentir como su huésped en su restaurante, les agradezco mucho a ustedes!

Highly recommend. The Chicarrón is incredible and the portions are very generous and nicely varied, you get to sample the perfect quantity and mix of a bunch of different items.

Since moving to London we have missed Latin American food immensely so when we found this nearby we had to stop. I won't lie, I was initially turned off by the outside look and we were first in the restaurant (empty restaurants are never a good sign); however, my original trepidation was immediately laid to rest when our waitress came. She was friendly and walked us through all our menu questions and provided some helpful suggestions and very quickly the restaurant filled up. The arepas were fantastic, cheese on top was melted perfection, and the tamales were bursting with flavor and the was moist and delicious. I would highly recommend a stop here, just make sure to bring cash.

Donde Carlos, what can I say...? Great place with a little shop downstairs for those Latin American goods you're missing! The service is friendly, and feels genuine, and the ambiance is almost as if you were in Colombia! There's usually some Spanish football on the TV which adds to the authenticity of the restaurant. It's always full of Colombians, and other spanish speakers, which could be a little daunting for some, but it's evidence that they do a good job with the food! The empanadas taste great, and of course come with the great spicy salsa verde, super tasty. I ALWAYS go for the Bandeja Paisa, and I'm satisfied every time! The meat is good, although it can be a little over cooked at times, but not often. The rice, arepa, egg, beans and plantain are always cooked perfectly (I think they've had a lot of practice)!! The drinks choices are great, you can even order a Refajo (recommended) which is kinda like beer with Irn-Bru. Tastes great with all the meat on a Bandeja Paisa! They also have some great juices which you can have with milk or water. I usually get the Maracuja with water... refreshing! To say the prices for food are reasonable is a real understatement. £12 for Bandeja Paisa of this quality is awesome! If you're ever in Shepherds Bush, check this place out. Be warned, they close unusually early on Sundays, around 7pm.

American visiting British-Colombian spot was such a great experience. Was greeted by a wonderful gentleman who was very attentive. Felt like home. The drink and food did taste different from what I'm used to, but it was still good. The carne empanadas were delicious. I ordered the Bandeja Paisa, but the chorizo and chicharon were too oily and not well done. That was my only complaint.. other than that pretty cute place. The downside they only take cash. No credit card.

Best Colombian food I've had in London. Great service. If your in London, you need to try this restaurant. Very authentic.

I've tried a few different Colombian restaurants here in London, Donde Carlos was by far my favorite. Very authentic, delicious, and they offer great service. I highly recommend it if your are here.

Have visited a few times for lunch specials and always enjoy the food, great soup and mains. An excellent find
