"The east side’s Donut Hut has been around since 1980 and fans there lovingly refer to owner So-Tee Seung as the Cambodian Rambo. The place specializes in classic doughnuts, but do order the blueberry doughnuts and anything with a cream cheese frosting. While only open in the morning, doughnut fans might be able to snag something later at night. Cash only." - Susan Stapleton

I recently had the pleasure of trying a donut from Donut Hut, crafted by the renowned Donut Rambo, and it was nothing short of spectacular. The flavor was absolutely perfect, striking a harmonious balance that delighted my taste buds from the first bite to the last. The texture was light and fluffy, a testament to expert craftsmanship and fresh ingredients. The sweetness level was just right—not overbearing at all. Each bite was a perfect blend of subtle sweetness and delightful flavor, making it impossible to resist going back for more.Overall, this donut was fresh and utterly delightful. If you're ever near Donut Hut, don't miss out on experiencing this exceptional treat by Donut Rambo. It’s a donut experience you won’t soon forget.

These donuts are 🤌. The best. If I was not watching my health. I could eat a few if these daily. This is literal small business at its finest. Highly recommend I saw a post about it looking sketchy outside. All the stores next to him close up when he is opening, and the bar in the parking lot burned down. He is next to a batteries plus and a pizza place. 10/10

Google
Best donuts I've ever eaten!!! 10/5 stars. The donuts are not perfectly sweetened and the soft texture was amazing. Could not resist consuming 3 in one sitting but they are so light you do not feel full.

Google
A hidden gem well known to Eastsiders in the know. The donuts are just.... Like a hug. The Asian sandwiches seriously good. The family that owns it won't stop giving you free stuff while you order/wait. The owner is a life "Cambodian Rambo" with an amazing story. A real hero. Just do yourself a favor a go.

Brittany Hickey

Google
My previous go-to donut 🍩 place was Donut Tyme but this may be my new go-to. The APPLE FRITTERS were amazing. I'm very particular with my apple fritters. They need to be soft but with some crispness with the frosting.

Dawn Strojny

Google
The donuts were good. Landed in Vegas at midnight, Picked up the rental car, ate at In-N-Out, then drove here for dessert and breakfast for the next day. It was very late so we rang the bell and the owner let us in. The owner is nice and he knows how to make a mean donut. This place is super old school. My favorite was the old-fashioned donut.

Google
Some of the best donuts I have ever had and a solid bahnmi sandwich. Plus, you get the story of the life of the true Cambodian Rambo. He will cut you a deal and make you feel special just buying donuts. Worth a stop always!

Google
It's such an underrated mom and pop spot, a must go. The donuts are very good, the Banh mi's are great but the best part and we has me coming back is the customer service!!

Yelp
I've known of this donut shop for over 15yrs, but it was me and my husbands first time coming here. I knew it was a Cambodian donut shop, and Cambodians are known to have good donuts, so I came in expecting some really really soft & fluffy donuts. Let me tell youuuu! Their donuts exceeded my expectations. Their donuts were sooooo good. Fluffy, and soft. If I could, I would've ate 6 donuts to myself lol. After ordering my donuts, I saw that they also had Khmer(Cambodian) food, so we ordered 4 beef sticks. The owner's wife not only tried to give us a discount on the beef sticks & donuts, but she also gave us a free order of her papaya salad, 4 drinks & a sample of her Cambodian fermented sausage! Not gonna lie, I sent my husband to grab donuts the next night after he got off of work, and it was the owner working the night shift. He was extremely nice! & gave my husband 8 extra donuts! We're so happy we found a bomb donut shop that isn't too far from home. I'm mad that it took us this long to come here.

Yelp
I was craving donut holes and saw that this spot was open. I decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, there were no donut holes, but I was able to leave with 4 donuts. It costed $7.88 for the 4, which I thought were kind of above average. 3 out of the 4 donuts were delicious, but the custard filled one was average at best. If I wanted plain donuts late at night, I would consider this as an option but not the first.

Yelp
Great Spot. Fast & Friendly Customer Service. Delicious Donuts . Highly Recommended!!!!!

Ron F.

Yelp
All the standard favorites, served fresh. The service is fast and friendly. Most of their business is to-go. Easy to get in, pick up your sugar fix and get out the door. Not a lot of seating or parking but with the quick turn around on orders it doesn't really matter. There's no drive-thru but I prefer going in to see the options anyway. Prices are consistent with the big name places. A great quick option if you need a sweet bite.

Alondra T.

Yelp
Owner is amazingly kind, even gave us some freebies, food was great; papaya salad is delicious!!! Very good price, deserves support she was seriously so kind. I will be coming back!

Rachelle R.

Yelp
There was just an old man there and we did come late at 8pm but the donuts had an after taste like old oil. The dough was soft and fluffy though. For a mixed box dozen it was $34 buck. 3 custard filed, 2 coffee crumb, 1 maple long john, 2 choco, 1 strawberry sprinkle, 1 glaze, 2 cinnamon donut and another $7 for a bhan mi bbq beef it was microwaved so don't bother ordering that. Nothing special but would come back to see if it's better during the day and not ordering bhan mi

Berry H.

Yelp
open 24 hours. They also have delicious sandwiches. And the best donuts in Vegas. This is a little treasure that I just discovered. I'm always out late at night and early in the morning. This is perfect for Uber drivers and people who are out late at night. And the customer service is outstanding.

Kylie R.

Yelp
my favorite mom and pop donut shop !!!! the owner was soo very sweet and welcoming. please be patient to the owner !!! it seems like he's the only person running the shop. it is a small shop with minimal seating, perfect for couples and trios. this is the dessert / bahn mi shop for those late night cravings. it indeed is opened from 8pm til 11am. i got the grilled chicken bahn mi/ asian sandwich and chocolate donuts. they did not disappoint !! the sandwich bun was crispy and soft, the veggies add the perfect crunch, and the marinated chicken married the spices and the entire flavor of the sandwich together. i wish i could gate keep this place lol, but i love supporting businesses. i love donut hut !!!!!!!!!!! 100/10 recommend.

Jade L.

Yelp
Had the greatest service from a very personable owner. I came into the shop with my nephew and from the beginning she attempted to open our door as we were bringing in our electric scooter. She gave us a doughnut for free and an orange juice and when I insisted on paying for it she continued saying that it was okay and proceeded to hold a conversation with us. On our way out we were given bags and two more doughnuts. I came back about thirty minutes later and was gifted another two doughnuts and orange juice. God bless her heart! I'll be coming back more often and will bring cash instead so I could leave it on the counter lol

Teresa T.

Yelp
Good service the guy is funny and nice ambiance . I would really recommend this gem of a place!

Sam W.

Yelp
Just great donuts, nothing fancy. They don't use gimmicks, like mounds of frosting. Everything is made right there in the store, just like the old days, not at a central location and trucked in. Family business. Hard workers. Help support the little who just wants to provide a good quality product at a fair price. Best to call ahead because hours sometimes vary, but open most nights 7 PM - 11 AM.

Veniece S.

Yelp
Great customer service from the time we walked up to the door! Store smelled amazing The donuts looked good, the presentation was great! FaceTimed my son to find out which one he wanted!!! My favorite donut tasted GREAT!!!! I will be back for more. A must try ! Perfect location for quiet intimate friendly date for donuts and food!!!

Jess G.

Yelp
My favorite hole in the wall donut shop. If you have a craving for a donut at 2am, this is the place to go. The owner is such a sweetheart and always smiling and pleasant. I always go for the lemon or cream cheese filled donuts, so light airy and delicious and these donuts are not overly sweet. We got a cool dozen today, 4 old fashion, 2 custard filled, 1 tiger tail (newest donut), 1 Blueberry (the best), 1 cinnamon crumble, 1 cream cheese filled, 1 plain, 1 twist. Hobestly we only went in to grab 2 donuts but ended up walking out with a dozen, lol. So glad we made the stop today, it absolutely hit the spot and satisfied that donut craving. If you're on the Eastside on Desert Inn, I suggest making a stop in, say hello and grab a couple donuts or even an Asian sandwich. YUM!

Cecilia B.

Yelp
I would like to give my review of Doughnut Hut on Desert Rd. 89121. I picked 4 pieces of doughnut and he added a tiny chocolate doughnut for bonus. He showed me the amount of $11.00 from his machine. He was holding my receipt until I asked him to give it to me. I really felt it was way too much for 4 pcs. even he gave me an extra small one. I did not look at the receipt and when I got home I saw the receipt with a total of $11.80 and the extra $.80 says adjustment. It did not say tax. I will never go back there again because in every doughnut shop I go every thing is itemize. Further more I go to Master doughnut on Desert Inn too and a dozen doughnut is $13.00. It felt that I was ripped off big time as the doughnuts are not fantastic or extraordinary. They taste like the other store's doughnuts. I even gave a tip. LOL! So watch out people. If you ever go there ask for itemized item in the receipt. I give this shop a 4 out of 10. Economy is bad enough to be screwed like this. Thank you. I am done with this shop.

Yelp
My dad has been going to Donut Hut since the early 90's. When he worked construction he would always go to Donut Hut. Today he toke me to Donut Hut and the owner was so friendly! The donuts were delicious! Hands down best donuts in vegas.

Boogs E.

Yelp
Been coming to the Donut Hut since 1989' but hadn't been in a few years, moved to the other side of town. Took a shot tonight and I'm glad I did. Not because it was great, not because they are doing something special at this point but just out of pure nostalgia. The owner looked tired and lack the energy of the past. He deserves better. Dude is a legend in the game. Obviously times have changed and so has the neighborhood but he plugs away. Answer to no one. Can't go often but I'll be sad when it's gone. Aging is a bitch, time waits for no man. I'll have a maple bar and a coke please, I'm happy I came.

Rhaneskye D.

Yelp
Donut hut the owner are great very nice!!! And very good service!! Ill come back!!!!!!!

Yelp
Donuts here are so yummy! You have to make a stop if you haven't yet! So many donuts to choose from. One of the Famous donuts here are the Blueberry Cake Donuts! It's always been on point! The owner goes by Rambo he is nice and easy going. Opens at night. Cash only please be prepared don't let that stop you cause it's worth a try! Great place to stop & get donuts for the Team at work! They love it!

Mina N.

Yelp
Ok I'm not going to lie, it look me a long time to write this review because I wanted all the donuts to myself.... but I'm also all about supporting local and mom & pop shops :) This is seriously the only donut spot I got to in Las Vegas. The store operates during overnight/graveyard shift hours, but totally worth the visit! Owner, Rambo, is quick, efficient and so nice! You can select your box of donuts and be on your way in less than 5 minutes. My personal favorite is the old fashioned donut! They also have sandwiches that are made to order. Very, very good. One last note - this place is CASH ONLY. Be sure to bring extra, you're going to want to leave here with all the donuts!!!

Savie M.

Yelp
Great atmosphere and amazing food the doughnuts are to die for, best doughnuts I've had for awhile

Chris V.

Yelp
The blueberry cake donuts have been consistently a star whenever I've dropped in, but I had to write this update for one item and one item only: the weekend-only French cruller. I was passing by Donut Hut late tonight and decided to drop in for my usual blueberry cake donut, which is always fluffy and sweet with that thin crispness on the outside. It's undoubtedly the 24/7 highlight of this shop. However, when I saw the owner move the glazed French crullers from the cooling rack to the display case, I realized that this was a potential opportunity for something special. First thing when I got home: French cruller ($1.30). Unbelievable. Now I know that every single cruller that I've eaten before has been dry to some extent. It's slightly crunchy on the outside, but your teeth will quickly realize that it's through and through a soft, ridiculously moist, almost custardy interior. It's a delight. Come to Donut Hut any day for blueberry cake donuts, but make a special stop late at night on the weekend and you just might find the magical cruller before it grows stale. (P.S. I definitely ate the cruller way too quickly for photos.)

Yelp
If I could give no stars I would. Donuts are old ! I will drive the distance for better

Tori M.

Yelp
The woman working at the shop on 5/26 around noon was incredibly nice and the donuts are delicious! I want to try a sandwich next. I highly recommend!

Benedikt N.

Yelp
Best Donuts in Winchester. The interior of this bakery is not slick by any means, but I have found that establishments that welcome you with a "cash only" sign often have the better product to offer. It has a solid selection of donuts, my favorite here is simply the glazed donut. The perfectly puffy doe dissolves on the tongue to release the sweet, yeasty and satisfying flavor without relying on the glaze. The glaze is nicely thin and since Mr Seang doesn't use hydrogenated oil, it doesn't leave a film in the roof of the mouth. He also uses good yeast, so there's no bitter aftertaste. Thank you Rambo Seang for making our neighborhood great.

Lucia P.

Yelp
Another 5 stars because this man is truly magic with these donuts. They are fantastic. This place is cash only. As I had said before. But honestly go get yourself some cash outta the atm and do yourself a favor drive yourself over here because you won't regret it. I crave these often. I have to try hard to not give in but seriously dudes and dudettes. I cannot rave enough about this little shop. We came here last night at opening time. He did not have fresh donuts at that time. He works over night making donut magic. It's best to come in the A.M. to pick yourself up some magical treats. Mr. Sothy Seang is always appreciative of his costumers, very sweet man. He always throws in a couple fresh free donuts. And for 9$ a doz. You will always come for more. Morning time whether it's 3am, 4am, 5-6-7-8am you'll come in and find a case full of fresh donuts. See you soon Mr. Seang!

Brittney M.

Yelp
The glazed are delicious. Light & buttery, you can tell he has his own recipe. Just good donuts. You have to be careful because he will put some pounds you ! This isn't the shop for the crazy toppings just your good ol classics. Sprinkles, strawberry & chocolate frosted, cakes, & cruellers as fried cinnamon rolls. Donut Holes are $.10 .... overall I'd come back. And good donut hours!

Phil L.

Yelp
The Donut Hut is like the Energizer Bunny, it just keep on ticking. I've been coming here and buying donuts in the early morning for over 20 years. It started when I was still teaching school back in the 1990's. On Fridays, on special occasions, I would stop on my way to Bonanza High School and buy donuts to share with my first period class. The donuts were great and relatively inexpensive. Fast forward. Despite COVID-19, Rambo is still ticking. Still open with those bizarre hours, and the donuts are still great, and still relatively inexpensive. And, for me now retired, affordable. And if you can afford to splurge the apple fritters are "the best in town." Give it a try and tell him Coach Phil sent you. 5 Stars all the way.

Gayle H.

Yelp
Went in to buy Coffee. And decided to buy a sandwich. Asked price was quoted $10. Then I noticed the sign said $6.99. I informed the man of the difference in price. He told me that when he quoted $10 I agreed to it. Informed him again of the price and he need to change his sign. He then said if I don't like it I can get my money back. When I agreed and asked for my money he refused time give it yo me because he already made the sandwich. I also noticed that he didn't wash his hands or use gloves after handling money. Never again.

Chu T.

Yelp
Closest shop to my place, and unfortunately I'm going to look somewhere else and drive further for my donut and coffee needs. I like that it's independently owned and the owner was nice. I was there at 8:15am, the glazed donuts all look old, and the one I bought was just not that good. The coffee tasted watered down. Definitely not worth what I paid. Sorry.

Shivali D.

Yelp
I was on nights this weekend at the local hospital and in the mood for donuts upon leaving. Donut Hut seemed to be the best option and close by. It was. I was welcomed by a nice gentleman that mentioned he hand makes his donuts ever night for the last 23 years! Wow! There was a bunch to choose from but I went with the vanilla, strawberry and orange sprinkle donuts - would you expect anything different? They were good! Had a crisp to them which was nice. $1 each. Areas of opportunity: maybe having boxes to put them in. He provided a brown bag and if you buy more than two they risk getting crushed. Also have a website with flavor offerings. I didn't know what I was getting myself into prior to arrival. I'll be back!

Ramon M.

Yelp
*Cash Only* Looking for the most delicious blueberry donuts in Las Vegas? This is the place! For only $9 a dozen, you cannot go wrong. Make sure to try the other classics on the menu. The story behind the owner is also very moving. Such a great man with a heart of gold.

Jessica G.

Yelp
The worker or owner was very rude, I came in with two of my kids at 10:00am he seemed very irritated as my kids chose there donut, we were inside the shop for about 2 min. And he started rushing my kids and said "hurry up and pick your donuts and get out" very rude. So me and my kids left without buying anything. Will not buy anything from anyone that rude.

Dee A.

Yelp
I'm done with this place. Two stars because he always gives free donuts. The quality and taste of of their donuts would be fantastic if they were fresh. They open at 8pm, we arrived at 810pm. The donuts we bought were not even remotely warm and tasted at least half a day old. I was disappointed because I was craving the blueberry donut which doesn't taste the same as it used to.

K S.

Yelp
Love this shop! I work graveyard late nights and it's nice he's open late! His donuts have really good flavor and they're of decent size!

Ayesha J.

Yelp
First off the business hours on the door are super confusing. 8pm - 11 pm everyday? But I came at 6:30 am and they were open. I'm not sure if the donuts were exactly fresh, there wasn't many of them out, but that's probably so they won't waste any. Tested like the oil the cooked the donuts in old oil . Like when you get fries and you know the grease needs to be changed. The 2 donuts I tried were doughy / chewy in the middle. And he was moving so fast making my order and taping the box up, when I got home it wasn't even what I asked for. He even squished one of my donuts with the side of the box with the poor packaging, rushing when I was the only Customer in there. Not going back. Starting to think he was trying to hide something or I don't know. Maybe it was a bad morning. I really don't think they were fresh from this morning.

Jop P.

Yelp
I was in the area saw this place open at 6am. The lady was warm and welcoming. I asked her how much for dozen donuts and she said $9. While I was selecting the donuts suddenly the owner stepped in. I selected my 12 variety and when I'm about to pay had told me $12...I looked at the lady and pretended she didn't understand me. I told the owner I thought it was $9 for a dozen??? He kept saying NO.. no ..no. noo!!! Okay chill men, I'm not here to rage war over donuts. Ugh..Okay, this place is a wack. Oh well I won't be back again. After feeling bad the lady threw 1 extra donut for the bait and switch process that just happened.

Bryan G.

Yelp
Excellent donuts. Fresh, light and airy. Generous sizes. Yes, these donuts are really that good. Going back for more and to try more varieties.

Destinie C.

Yelp
This is the closest donut shop to us, but i did not like the customer service or quality of the donuts. I went in already knowing that I wanted to get half a dozen of donuts ... half of them being chocolate, but I still needed to decide on the other 3 flavors. I was rushed by the owner who decided the flavors for me. I was in and out in less than two minutes, maybe even less, and was left disappointed. I also got the classic donut flavors and was charged almost 8 bucks for 6 donuts that were not fluffy and tasted like day old donuts. Really disappointing since I love supporting small owned businesses but the quality and service isn't there.

Yelp
YELP 365 CHALLENGE 2014-(263/365) "Don't Mess With Rambo!" 9pm...that's a good time to come here. Why? Some of the tastiest Blueberry cake Donuts in town are coming out of the fryer, that's why! I've been here a few times already and I thought I reviewed Donut Hut! Oh well, better later than never, right? The owner Sothy Seang, also known as "The Cambodian Rambo" is a very kind, soft spoken man whom the Las Vegas community has become very familiar with as he's made appearances in the paper, local news, and even on Youtube with his occasional run-ins with would be robbers at his donut shop. Anywho, everyone has their favorite variety of donut, but the standouts for me have been the Blueberry Cake Donut, and if you're willing to wait until 10pm on the weekends, warm French Crullers that have been freshly glazed in assorted flavors are ready around this time. if there's a slight wait in between time, Mr. Seang will hand you a paper containing his story on how he went through his struggles before achieving the American Dream. By the time you finish reading, your order should be ready along with a few extra goodies! Next time you're in the area and hankering for a donut, stop by Donut Hut! ALOHA!!! Yelp
Blueberry Donuts!!! I thought that I'd never find anyone that comes close to M&M's infamous blueberry donuts. But guess what? Donut Hut located off Desert Inn on the east side of town has blueberry donuts that are as good as it gets. Even better...you don't have to travel all the way to Anaheim and wait 45 minutes in line to get one. Here at the Donut Hut, their blueberry donuts are ready, fresh, and are for real. Their blueberry donuts are crunchy on the outside and moist on the inside, which is the perfect texture for a blueberry donut. Don't expect a plain donut with candy coated blueberry flavor here. You get the real thing with real blueberries. Trust me, one of the best blueberry donuts that I've ever had. I also tried their French Cruller, which is only served on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday's. Still pretty good, but I'm still thinking about them blueberry donuts. My review doesn't stop here. The owner, Sothy Seang, is dubbed the Cambodian Rambo. My gf sent me this link about Seang and fellow Yelper Nik O also posted this on Yelp Talk. http://www.vegasinc.com/business/2013/dec/06/donut-rambo-cambodian-refugee-finds-success-friend/?_ga=1.243919811.754996307.1382033796 Seang is one incredible man. He treated us like royalty, served us some great donuts, and even took the time to chat with us. Read his story. Incredible...his donuts are too. But don't take my word for it, give Donut Hut a try. One things for sure...I know I will be here on cheat days. Yelp
I've been eating Donuts at the Donut Hut for over 17 years I have tried all the other donut shops and I just can't find the delicious perfect donuts like Rambo makes at the Donut Hut. The French Cruller he makes with a special flower from France so he only makes them on the weekends get there early he's usually sold out by 9am and closed at 11am and opens at 8pm.. the best time to get the donuts is about 3 a.m. when everything's warm and ready. you have to try the blueberry cake Donuts they are the best in town. A tiger twist is a cinnamon roll twisted half cinnamon half glazed twists. And one of my favorites the glazed donut so delicious and melt-in-your-mouth. And let's not forget his cream cheese filled donut, Boston cream filled donut they are dreaming and creamy. Haha I crack myself up sometimes. Rambo came from Vietnam where he helped the American soldiers fight the Vietnam War and he loved America so much that he chose to come to America and become an American citizen Rambo supports the police department the military and the fire department and he loves America. Donut Rambo makes some of the best American donuts I think in America.

Yelp
It was really pretty good. The hours are a bit strange as I am not an early riser... got there about 9:45 am(they close at 11) and as I was afraid of, not much left to choose from but bought 12 mostly consisting of blue berry cake donuts that people rave about. Price was about $12 and change... more than the $9 that people talk about... maybe my selection? At any rate, bought a coffee and ate the maple donut, large twist, and a blueberry cake donut. All were very good... I really would like to get to try something fresh out of the oil, but they open at 8 pm, and an generally not into donuts at that time of night. I will come back.

Yelp
I try to get to a different donut spot in Las Vegas each time I visit. This visit Donut Hut was on the list. Definitely one of the Best Old School/Traditional donut shops I have tried. And at 7am on a Saturday morning, the owner is friendly and his recommendations were spot on! The Apple Fritter was delicious and the glazed was light fluffy and delightful! CASH ONLY... don't forget yours. #stlmetrofoodie

Yelp
My P.I.C. & I were craving some doughnuts after a movie & it was pretty late & this place had been on my doughnut radar, especially as being one open all night. Bonus! I really didn't mind that we had to drive across town; it made for a fun little adventure. We arrived right around midnight & were welcomed by a fresh batch of glazed doughnuts. It smelled really good inside the Hut. However, the doughnuts that came out seemed to be a little on the overdone side. Nevertheless, they tasted pretty good. Lol, I would take a Krispy Kreme glazed over this one any day of the week. Sadly, they didn't have any jelly doughnuts, or apple fritters. I was really bummed about that. We were told that the jelly doughnuts wouldn't be made until 1 am. Ain't nobody got time for that! Overall, it is a pretty decent doughnut shop. Although, I think I would need to come back again when they have a better selection, in order to make a fair assessment. The lady that brought the doughnuts out & that helped us probably did not utter a single word & did not display any emotion whatsoever. And, the Doughnut Rambo guy was kind of friendly. But, when we left, we did not even get a thank you or a goodbye. So, I was a little sad. Bottom line; Ronald's is still number 1 in my book!

Yelp
I was staying on the strip but wanted to take the 10-15 minute drive to see Sothy for myself and try his donuts. When I got there, he and his GF were nice and friendly. He suggested the apple fritter and I took that AND the blueberry donut. Apple fritter was warm (must have just come out not too long ago)....heaven. Blueberry donut had good blueberry flavor. While I was there, many different customers from different walks of life came in - he knew them, must be regulars. Even the local firemen came in to get their dozen. If I lived in Vegas, I'd be a regular too! I wouldn't go there just for the coffee - it's okay.

Yelp
Yum! I was looking for a cronuts when I came across Donut Hut. Tried the French Cruller and I am hooked. I like how its a little crispy on the outside and a little chewy inside. I had this yesterday and I wish I bough more for today. One of the reviews here mentioned that they only make this on certain days, they definitely make it on Saturdays.

Yelp
Whenever I come by for a blueberry cake donut, I always seem to get more than what I came for. On this visit I got 7 blueberry cakes, 2 boston creams, 2 glazed raspberry filled, 2 apple fritters plus 1 free extra which totaled to $13.10. I would've got a glazed donut and a tiger twist but my donut box is full. The blueberry cake is my top favorite. I like that it has a light crunchy texture on the exterior and the interior is soft and I can taste the blueberry flavor. My second favorite is the apple fritter. Similar to blueberry cake, I like that the apple fritter is crunchy and has soft texture with fruit and these complement very well with ice cream. Rambo is the owner and he is always pleasant and welcoming. It's nice that he shares a part of his story with memorable pictures displayed on the wall. Do keep in mind this shop takes cash only and is open at night through morning of the following day. It's a great place for night owls who want fresh donuts.

Yelp
It was ok, nothing to write home about. I came at about 10 am on a Saturday. Tasted like the oil used to fry donuts was over used and should have been changed. Decent but probably won't get from here again.

Yelp
We moved to the area a little over a year ago. I don't know why it took me this long to go here! My neighbors actually love this place, and honestly I think this will be our "spot" from now on. The place is clean, with a couple of tables and seats. The owner is very friendly and he'd be glad to suggest what to get if you can't make up your mind. These donuts are simple yet delicious, no frills, which is the way I like my donuts. Unfortunately when I arrived the famous blueberry cake donuts were sold out (7am Sunday), so I'll have to come back for those.

Yelp
***YELP 100 CHALLENGE 63/100*** Reading Sylvia Q's ROTD Saturday morning, made me seriously crave these little pieces of heaven and I was on a mission to try them sooner rather than later. So when hubby got off work that night, we went. Apparently the neighborhood it's in is questionable, but it was actually quiet and undisturbed when we got there, they did buzz us in which was kind of funny and scary at the same time. We got half a dozen- 5 Blueberry cake donuts and a French cruller. As we were driving home, I took a bite of the blueberry cake and instantly regretted not getting a dozen. It's that good! Probably the best cake donut I've had. Cake donuts are normally dense but theirs doesn't have that heavy feel, and I love the crisp edges. You can definitely taste the freshness of their products. The cruller is very light and airy, just the way it's supposed to be. I'm so tempted to go back and try some more of their offerings but somehow have to show restraint so maybe next weekend! HAHAHA.
